The Triple Goddess

“They don’t know?!” He shook his head and my grin could not get any bigger. They were going to seriously freak out with happiness!

“Don’t worry, if they don’t have the room, then I have a suite held for us in the city.” Of course he did.

“Oh it’s not that, I am just wondering who will cry first, my mum or Libby?” He laughed and then came round to take my hand.

“Come then, it is too cold for you and besides, I think they have waited long enough.” He pulled me up the driveway and looked back to see the Limo only just fit but if Mr and Mrs Sutton wanted to go anywhere tonight, then he would have to move.

  “Keira, you’re shaking.”

“I’m just so excited, I didn’t think…”He pulled me to him, wiped away a stray tear and kissed my nose before saying,

“I know sweetheart, I know.” Then before I could think anymore into it, he reached out behind him and knocked firmly on the door. I could hear my mum behind my dad’s frame asking ‘who it could be?’ My dad in his usual dry humour replied,

“Well it’s too early for Santa but if he’s come with a new drill, then he can stay for a brandy.” I was still laughing when he opened the door and my parents were both stood there dumbfounded and speechless…which hardly ever happens to my mum!

“OH MY GOD!” My mum shouted

  “HOLY SHIT!” My dad shouted.

“Language!” My mum shouted before she launched herself at me, barging my dad clean out of the doorway.

“MY BABY!” She screamed kissing me all over.

“Hi mum, hi dad.” I said round my mum’s mass of curls that Libby had inherited.

“Oh honey, I am so glad you are better and I could…oh Eric…our baby…”

“Oh mum, don’t cry, you will set me off.” But it was too late and now I heard reinforcements coming down the hallway who would no doubt be adding to those tears.

“Mum, who is it, you’re letting all the heating out and…Holy shit!” Libby screamed and then ran towards me and my poor dad was once again being pushed out of the way muttering,

  “That’s what I said.”

  “Language!”

“And that’s what she said.” My dad added smiling as Libby threw herself, baby bump and all at me.

  “KAZZY!”

“Hey Libs.” I said feeling the emotions bubbling up.

“We were so worried! But I knew someone would be taking care of you.” She winked at me and then I looked behind me to realise Draven had stood back out of sight, while my family took in the shock before showing himself. He stepped into sight and my mum actually gasped and then the unbelievable happened,

“Holy Shit!” My mum blurted out and then slapped her hands to her mouth in shock at her blunder. We all laughed, including my dad.

“Mum, dad, this is my boyfriend…Dra Dominic Draven.” I said ushering him inside and closing the door behind him.

“Oh my.” I heard my mum utter and my sister whispered in her ear,

“I told you so.” I smiled as Draven tried to ignore the blatant drooling from my female family members and it was left up to my dad to take the lead for once.

“Y’alright, mate, come on in and meet the rest of the nutters, seeing as you’ve already met me wife. Come and meet the in laws…that should be interesting but do us a favour lad, try not to give the owd’lady a stroke and watch for those wandering hands of hers, she got a mean ass pinch.” I burst out laughing at my father’s northern humour and easy acceptance of any man in my life. Draven gave me a massive grin and I thought I heard my mum swooning behind me.

“Oh my god Kaz, that man gets finer every time I see him!” Lib said and my mum started nodding like a goofy love struck teenager.

“Oh my!” It seemed to be the only thing my mum could say at the moment.

“So, happy to see me then?” I asked and they both threw their arms around me and we did a happy little family hug dance in the entrance way.

“Oh lovey, you really must have been ill, you have lost so much weight, too much…far too much, we need to fatten you up this Christmas and now we will be a proper family…oh, my girls.”

“Great, here she goes again…you know she hasn’t stopped blubbering since she thought you were going to miss it.” Libby informed me and I pulled my mum to me for another hug, as we walked in the living room to find Draven and Frank shaking hands.

“Oh mum, the Gods couldn’t even keep me away” I said sending Draven a wink and he looked momentarily like he’d swallowed a bug. I laughed and let my mum go readying myself for the brotherly Keira bear hug I always received from Frank.

“Here she is, our little Kazzy!” Frank said leaving Draven’s side and coming over enthusiastically to pick me up for a Frank squeeze and I moaned when my ribs protested. Draven tensed as if hating every second of it. Then I spotted my grandparents sat in the same chairs they always did when coming here.

“Nan! Granddad!” I shouted and ran over to them giving each of them a hug, making sure my nan didn’t get up as she had a bad hip.

“Hello petal… oh Reg isn’t it good to see her… Reg, Reg fetch my glasses, no they’re for reading, the other ones…yes, yes in the blue case…now let’s have a look at you.” She said taking her glasses and slipping them on making her eyes double in size.

“Still wearing those jam jar bottoms nan?” I said and my Granddad laughed as I said the same thing every time I saw them.

  “Oh dearie…Joyce! Joyce!”

“Yes mother.” My mum came up to me and started taking my jacket off and then turned to Draven in case he was wearing one.

“Joyce, what are you feeding her, carrots and celery? You need some chocolates deary, here…Olivia bring out some of those Quality Street for a nibble.” She said pointing to the tin and I smiled.

“Nan, this is my boyfriend, Dominic Draven.” I said pulling him closer to me so that my Nan could see him.

“Pardon, sweetheart?” My mum came up behind her chair and whispered ‘Boyfriend’ and hearing that title snapped her head up…and up…and up at Draven. Her eyes got wide and then she smiled like my mum had.

“Oh my!” She said a bit breathlessly and then patted the underneath of her tightly curled bob.

“I am pleased to meet you, Edna.” Draven said and I shouldn’t have been shocked that he knew her name already….was there anything this man didn’t know about me?

“Oh Joyce, he looks like that superman fellow, what was that actor’s name, when he was younger?...Clark Kent….was that it? Oh, he was so handsome.”

“Mum, he can hear you and it was Christopher Reeves.” She said smirking at Draven.

“I am Joyce Williams, it lovely to meet you Mr Draven.” My mum said sweetly and I could already see a soft spot forming.

“Dominic please, and it is my pleasure. Keira speaks about all her family often and I am just happy she is better so that we could come to your lovely home.” Oh my god, now that was it! Not only did he look and sound as delicious as he did but calling my mother’s home lovely was the deal clincher. My mother could have made being house proud an Olympic sport! Was she actually blushing…oh my, was certainly right!

Then I could not believe what he did next, he took my mum’s offered hand and pulled her toward him to kiss her on the cheek, then doing the same to my sister and then my little Nan that couldn’t catch her breath after it. He then turned to me and whispered he would be back in a moment as he left to talk to my dad and Granddad, who were now getting his hand shake treatment, leaving four women all swooning and in need of smelling salts and fans.

“Mum, do you have room for us to stay?” I asked pulling her from her droolfest and it looked like she had to drag her eyes away from the sight of Draven in dark denim and a body that filled every fibre of his clothes with solid cut muscles. What was my question again?

  “Mmm, sorry what dear?”

“Of course we have room, don’t we mum?” Libby saved me and she winked at me…on no, what was sh
e up to?

  “Yes of course.”

“But what about me and Dra….”

“Oh mum, you’re not going to make him sleep on the couch are you?” Libby interjected and my mum finally looked round at us both.

“Most certainly not, for starters a lad that big would never fit, but that is beside the point, he is a guest.” She said sternly and I knew where Libby was going with this one.

“But Keira can’t sleep on the couch, not with her just getting over being ill, so what are we going to do?” Libby faked the innocent question and my mum’s eyes narrowed.

“I know what you are up to Olivia and there is no need. Kazzy is a grown up now and besides…” She looked back at Draven and then whispered,

“I won’t be so cruel denying you something that delicious to sleep with Kazzy.” We both burst out laughing and from the looks on Draven’s face, he had heard every word.

After my family’s trade mark rite of passage cup of tea ritual, complete with posh tinned biscuits, Draven retrieved our bags before sending the Limo away. Of course before this happened, my dad and Frank had to go out and see the thing in all its luxury before it was allowed to leave and even John our neighbour came out in his slippers to see it. I think Draven was a little embarrassed over all the attention and with my mother’s cooing but beamed at the point when she said he was spoiling me. He then firmly told her, that was only the very least I deserved and he would never change that, which she loved hearing and gained Draven about ten new brownie points.

“Kazzy, do you want to show Dominic where to put your bags?” And here it was, the moment of truth, I thought as we made our way up the stairs to my old childhood bedroom, that I never in a million years thought I would be showing a man like Draven. I felt him behind me and his head staring at my door over my head as I was over a foot lower. His arm reached out around me and he started tracing the colourful wooden letters that spelled out my name on my door.

“My mum said we could sleep together…well, I mean…you know…in the same bed.” I said, all of a sudden losing that ‘Vixen man eater, go get ‘em, I want your dreamy man body now’ persona and now opting for the ‘shy schoolgirl, I am about to have a boy in my room’ one instead.

“So I heard.” He breathed down my neck and I felt my pulse skyrocket.

“Well then ‘Kazzy’ aren’t you going to invite me in?” He said and I felt his smile on my neck before his lips moved up to my jaw and Draven, using my ponytail, tipped my head to one side for better access.

“You pulse is going wild, little rabbit.” He said running a finger along my pulse point and tapping it gently. But with Draven calling me ‘Little rabbit’ it brought the dream of him chasing me in the woods to come flooding back to me and I felt him harden behind me and press into my back.

“I remember that night as well, in fact, when I get you home I would like to take you there and make that the only space I take my rightful place inside this body of mine and once I am there and have gently taken your virginity, do you know what I am going to do next?” I couldn’t breathe but somehow I found just enough air to speak one word…

  “What?”

“Ravish you, until you cannot move and ever find the strength to leave my bed again… and again and again and…

  “Again!”

  Chapter 52

  Childhood, Keira Style

My room was exactly the way I had left it when I had closed the door that morning before getting in a car, driving to the airport and getting on a plane to start my new life. And now here I was, with Draven at my side, well more like peeking over my shoulder, in my childhood room surrounded with memories good, bad and truly ugly. But none of that mattered when I turned around and found the love of my life sharing everything with me.

“Well, as you can see, this is my room.” I said lamely not really knowing what else to say about this small square space filled to the brim with colour and mad style sense. The walls were painted two different shades of purple but most of the space was covered in posters, paintings, pictures or shelves overflowing with knick knacks, books and little crystal figurines, I went through a stage of collecting.

My double bed was covered in tie dye bedding that I did for a project in high school textiles and had six different sized cushions that didn’t match but Draven picked up the one with the peace sign embroidered in sparkly sequins on it.

“I seem to remember this symbol from somewhere.” He said smirking and I blushed.

“I just couldn’t resist.” I replied, wondering if that sign was taking off in Hell at the moment as the latest craze…I couldn’t see it somehow. He then walked over to a big pin up board I painted butterflies in the corners that was covered in pictures of school days, my Uni acceptance letter, and old doctor’s appointment for…eeeek a smear test! I ran over to him and stood in front of him trying to get him to move from my desk where my board was hung over.

“There’s nothing important to see here.” I said trying to pull on his arm but he wasn’t yet finished noting down every last bit of personal info he was getting from this time in my room.

“I have a doctorate Keira and have a full understanding of the female reproductive system…was this taken in school?” He asked abruptly changing the subject of my girly parts and pointing to my last day of school where I was holding up my signed school shirt with wet hair as me and some other friends had been pushed in the pool by some boys we fancied. I looked so different with my long hair all wild and free and wet around my face. I was wearing a tight little vest that didn’t leave much to the imagination and little denim cut offs, with a pair of sunglasses hanging from one pocket.

“I was a bit different back then, eh?” I said because really I didn’t know what else to say.

“Very carefree, if not a little too…exposed. I must say I like you with layers when around so many eyes, this tempting body is for my eyes only.” He said turning quickly and grabbing said body.

“It sure is.” I confirmed making him groan on top of my lips.

“Are you happy to be home?” He asked me once he kissed me, making my thought process stammer.

“Sorry?” I hummed dreamily. He laughed and then said,

“I will take that incoherence as a good sign and I gather that yes, you are happy, if not a little turned on.”

“A little? Bloody hell Draven if you said the word Sex I would find my legs stopped working…so are you going to do something about it?” I asked lowering my eyes and blushing at my boldness. He placed a single finger under my chin and raised my face till our eyes met.

“I would love to but I doubt your mother would approve.” I was just about to speak when the door opened and Draven was magically on the other side of the room, with one of our suitcases on the bed. I was still left wobbly legged and trying to find the right words.

“I just wanted to check you two had everything…extra towels…Keira I washed your favourite bedding that you made.” I looked at Draven, who was still trying not to look like he was concentrating as he lifted clothes out but when he heard the part about the bedding I saw him pick up a bit and rub it between his fingers and thumb…It was a very sweet gesture.

“Also, as I am sure you have noticed, your father made me go back up into the loft and get down all your paintings to put them back up…I hope you don’t mind…but we thought…well, enough of that.” She was, of course, referring to the night I came back from hospital and in a rage tore every last painting from the walls in the house that I had painted and threw them out of my window. It hadn’t been my best day.

I looked to Draven and saw him fist the suitcase until it ripped the expensive silk lining and I knew that the memory of that day had just seeped in, not by me but by my mother’s open mind.

“Mum, its fine and I already knew dad wouldn’t let me throw them away. I saw one in the kitchen earlier.” She blushed and then came over to me, gave the tops of my arms a squeeze and then kissed me before telling me dinner was in ten minut
es. She smiled at Draven before she left and as soon as the door closed I squealed as I was picked up and threw on the bed and then covered by Draven kissing me like he was trying to take the memory away from me…it worked.

Later that evening I found a very surreal moment when we were all sat around the dinner table eating chicken casserole with my mum complaining that if she had known a guest such as Draven would be ‘dining’ with them she would have made something more extravagant. Draven had assured that he was just happy to be here with us all and that any extra effort on his part wasn’t necessary. My mum had ignored him and got out the fine china and silverware anyway and Draven made her year by telling her how lovely the table looked and how good the food was. I think if at that moment Draven would have proposed to me, my mother would have wept with joy.

While we were waiting to be seated I had to move Draven from an assault from my Nan just saving him in time before he got a grope from an OAP with a good grip for her age. He had truly looked scared for a moment and I couldn’t help but laugh when my Nan winked at me. I laughed again when I did as she motioned for me to do and I pinched it myself…Draven jumped a mile thinking it was my Nan and the relief of his face was priceless.

“Ya gotta watch out for that one, she is stronger than she looks.” Frank whispered to Draven having witnessing the whole thing.

“Thanks for the heads up, I gather you were the backside menu choice until I arrived.” He responded coolly and Frank laughed before slapping him on the back in jest,

“Sure was bud, so remind me to buy you a cold one when we get chance, you’ve earned it with this family.” He nodded to me and then said,

“We can’t thank you enough.” And then chinked the neck of his beer to Draven’s before going to hug Libby, leaving me with another lump in my throat. Draven wrapped his arm round me and then said,

“I really like that human!” I smiled and then went on my tip toes to whisper in his ear, thankfully he met me half way or I would never have made it all the way up there.

“And the Demon in the corner, with her perverse obsession with a fine butt?” He laughed and then whispered back,
