Lady With A Past

‘Let me,’ he said huskily, stripping off his remaining clothes.

He undressed her slowly, savouring every moment as his eyes roamed hungrily over her slim, taut body. By this time, they were both breathing heavily and when he picked her up, she clung to his neck, planting quick warm kisses on his throat and the broad expanse of his shoulders.

From beneath heavy-lidded eyes, she could see that his face had become a rigid mask of desire.

He placed her on the bed, his long, lean length following. She could feel his muscles hardening against the soft flesh of her belly. Unwilling to wait, she pulled him fiercely into her body, her desire a raging, primitive force of its own, spiralling her higher and higher towards the peaks of rapture. At its very height, he proclaimed his love for her over and over in a husky murmur, and she was sure heaven could promise no greater glory.

Much later, lying in his arms, she said prosaically,‘I’m hungry.’

He burst out laughing. ‘Is there an all-night hamburger stand in town?’

‘Probably, but I think I can find some soup.‘t As she started to rise, his grip tightened and she looked back into his kindling eyes. She sank back slowly. ‘On the other hand, I can eat soup anytime. We have all night for soup.’
