She Used to Be the Sweetest Girl

Grabbing Mel's hand, she let him lead her to the middle of the stage. "Don't look in the crowd. Don't look in the crowd," she whispered to herself. She knew if she looked out and saw all those people, she'd freeze up. Her being somewhat shy and not big on huge crowds had her stomach doing backflips.

"Aw shit. Young Mel done got him a bad one up here. What y'all think fellas?" the DJ asked as he let the beat play. All the niggas started clapping and if you listened closely, you could hear females sucking their teeth.

"She ain't even all that," some chick hollered out from the crowd.

Brix looked toward the crowd and fluffed her hair. She knew she was pretty; that's why the female felt the need to address her.

"I’m sure she looks way better than you ma. I'd chill if I were you," Mel said, calling the girl out. Everyone in the crowd began laughing.

Removing her hand from his embrace, Brix wiped them on her jeans. The heat from the lights and the nervousness she felt had her palms sweaty. In her mind, she couldn’t believe she was doing this, but it was too late now. Leaning over to whisper in her ear, Mel told her to relax and that he had her.

The DJ turned the music back up and Mel began to rap along with the lyrics. Looking down at Brix, Shemel grinned. He didn’t plan on pulling her up on stage, or anyone else for that matter. After seeing her front and center, showing love, he said fuck it and pulled her up there with him anyway. The glossy look in her eyes let him know she was either slightly tipsy or drunk. Brix smiled wide as he tugged on a strand of her hair. Mel was feeling the liquor as well and had to touch a part of her.

Moving to another part of the stage, he rapped to the crowd. Standing in the crowd was a pissed off Reilyn. She couldn’t believe this nigga had pulled a girl on stage and it wasn’t her. She wouldn’t have been as mad if it was some groupie chick, because that’s what they do, but it was Brix. She remembered her face from Waffle House and knew she must have meant something to Mel to be showing her this much attention, especially at one of his shows. Squeezing the strap of her Chanel bag, she looked on with hatred as Mel spit his last verse of the song.

“She’s super pretty,” Reilyn’s friend Raven said.

Turning her head slowly, Reilyn gave Raven a death stare before responding, “Are you my friend or hers?”

“What you mean? I was giving the girl her props,” Raven replied back, confused.

“Oh yeah? Well give the bitch her props when you catch a ride with her then,” she spat, before focusing her attention back to Mel.

Raven rolled her eyes in annoyance. Everyone, including Reilyn, knew Young Mel wasn’t fooling with her like that, only she hadn’t gotten the memo. She couldn’t stand how jealous Rei was or how stuck up she could be sometimes. Only reason she hung with her was because she didn’t know anyone in St. Louis when she moved here. Rei befriended her and they’ve been friends ever since, so she thought.

Mel rapped a few more songs after Brix left the stage and the show turned into a party. Since the club didn’t close until four, Carissa, Brix and Lexi decided to hang around. Walking back from the bar, for the third time that night, Carissa sipped her drink, while looking for Pierre. She had been eyeing him all night and was already making plans to leave with him afterwards.

“Brix, are you drunk?” Lexi asked, grinning.

“Yes, girl. I’m good though,” she responded, laughing.

Carissa looked over at the two and grinned. Seeing as though Brix was already drunk, and Lexi rolled with the flow, she knew exactly where she was about to take them. Weaving through the sea of people, she led them right to Shemel’s section where she had just spotted Pierre. The line of thirsty bitches made her roll her eyes, as she sarcastically said excuse me so they could get through. Mel’s bodyguard for the night looked her up and down as she smiled, ready to play him just like she did the bouncer.

“Hey. Can we get through here?” she asked, giving a million-dollar smile.

“Nah. Fall back like the rest of these females.”

“I’m not the rest of these females, obviously,” she replied, smacking her lips.

With a blank stare, the bodyguard shrugged his shoulders, not caring who she was. Omar’s instructions were to not let anybody up without one of them approving it. He wasn’t about to fuck up his money over a groupie.

“But he had me on stage with him. I should be able to come up here,” a drunken Brix said smiling. The bodyguard grinned at her beauty and held his finger up.

“Connects bitch,” Lexi said, laughing at the frown on Carissa’s face.

Turning his back toward the group of women, Larry nodded his head to get Mel’s attention. Walking over with a grin on his face, Shemel asked him wassup.

“These three ladies think you should let them up here,” Larry said, looking at the trio.

Licking his lips, he looked at Brix who had a grin on her face. It was like she knew he was going to let her through, and she wanted to burst the bodyguard’s bubble.

“Yeah, let ‘em in. Nobody else though,” Mel replied, before helping the three up the steps.

Walking into the section, Carissa spoke to Mel, and then smacked her lips at the two females who were all over Pierre. Not wanting to seem like she was tripping off him, she took a seat and grabbed the bottle of unopened Patron, pouring her a glass. Little did she know, Pierre was watching her every move. On the other end of the sectional, Brix and Shemel were in their own world. Brix more so trying to sober up, and Shemel focused on her lips every time she licked them.

“You look good as hell tonight,” Mel told her, while staring at her intently.

“Really? I just threw something on,” she replied modestly. Something else Mel picked up on. Brix wasn’t all into herself like most females he ran into. Her beauty and personality spoke volumes and she didn’t have a clue.

“Did you enjoy the show?” he asked her.

“Actually, I did. Never heard you before, but you're really good,” she said, looking up at him.

“You never heard me before? Damn, that’s shocking,” he replied, really in shock.

“How? Because I don’t listen to all the hood music and guys talking about killing each other?” she said back, scrunching up her face.

Chuckling Mel said, “Nah, because I’m sort of that nigga right now. That’s why it’s shocking.”

“Is that right?” Brix asked, laughing.

  “Yeah, that’s right.”

“Hmm. Must not really be that nigga if I’ve never heard of you.”

Leaning to the side some, Mel raised his eyebrow in amusement. It was something about Brix he couldn’t put his finger on, but he was definitely feeling her. Her smart remarks that seemed to come off as rude, but were actually just her personality, made him smile. She was different, something he wasn’t used too.

“You funny man. It’s alright if you haven’t heard of me; the timing just wasn’t right,” he responded coolly. Just as Brix was about to respond, she finally realized her song was blasting over the speakers and she got up to dance, drunk and all.

“I drive the foreign like it was a Chevy. Lift it up and gone offset. Fuck a cougar like she Halle Berry. Future Hendrix, dirty sprite legendary,” Brix sang along with Future. His lyrics she knew, for the most part. Some of the things he said were hard to figure out, but “March Madness” was her shit.

Mel looked on as she rapped the lyrics and swayed from side to side in her zone. It only took that trap music to bring the ratchet up out her and Mel was enjoying it. Bobbing his head to the beat, he took a sip from his cup before he heard shots start ringing out. Jumping up from his seat, pulling his heat out, he pulled Brix’s arm, telling her to get on the ground. Mel didn’t know where the shots were coming from, but he didn’t want her to be caught in the crossfire. Letting Brix know he’d be right back, he started to walk toward the other part of the sectional, but Larry stopped him.

“They good over there. It was some niggas in the crowd shooting.”

  “Nah, I gotta c
heck on my brothers, man. Watch out.” Shoving Larry out the way, Mel made it over to his brothers, who were all gripping on their heat as well.

“Y’all straight over here?” he asked everybody.

“Yeah, we good. Let’s bounce though. I ain’t got time to be getting shot up,” Omar told him.

Glancing back over toward Brix, he saw she was still crouched down next to the couch like he told her. Carissa walked over, with Lexi right behind her, and pulled her drunk ass up.

“Girl, let’s get the hell out of here. Black folk can't never act right in public,” Carissa said, pulling her along. Almost tripping over her heels, Brix straightened her walk up. Although she was still lit, she’d be damned if she embarrassed herself by falling. Walking toward the steps, Shemel stopped her before she reached them.

“Put my number in your phone and let me know when you make it home, alright?” he told her.

Reaching in her clutch, she grabbed her iPhone and handed it to him after unlocking it with her fingerprint. She didn’t feel like dealing with putting his number in, so she gave him the task. Quickly saving his number, he sent himself a text just in case she forgot to hit him up.

“Y’all be safe and don’t forget to call me,” he said, tugging on one of her curls.

Smiling, Brix put her phone away and followed her girls down the steps. Stepping out into the cold, she zipped her jacket up and walked as quickly as she could to the car.

“See, this why I don’t go out now,” Lexi said, rubbing her hands together once they reached the car. “Niggas always gotta start shooting.”

“Fuck all that. Them niggas messed up my chances of going home with Pierre,” Carissa said.

“It was either gone be you leaving with him or Trap Queen back there with Mel,” Lexi said, laughing.

They both looked back at Brix who was laid out on the backseat with her arm thrown over her eyes. She didn’t even bother to respond to their shit talking. Her head was spinning and all she wanted to do was climb in bed.

“Oh believe me, she gone be his Trap Queen foreal, in no time,” Carissa said, smirking. Pulling out of the parking lot, Lexi played soft music as she prepared to drop her girls off. Yes, tonight was a success, but she was ready to go home and talk to her man. Carissa was on the same thing. Quickly texting her boo, she smiled and did a happy dance in her seat.

“The hell you dancing for?” Lexi asked.

“I’m getting some dick tonight bihhh!” she said cheesing.

  Six

“What you running for? You been waiting to get this dick all week,” Pierre said, gripping Carissa’s waist to keep her from moving.

After leaving the club last night, she had texted his phone and he gladly responded. They had been fooling around for a minute now, but nobody really knew. Carissa had told Brix that they had texted here and there and fucked a few times, but nothing more. She had caught feelings for him and that was not a part of her plans, but it was too late now. Arching her back more, she threw her ass back as he slammed into her. There was nothing sweet or romantic about the sex; they were straight fucking.

“Fuck! You too deep,” she moaned, while placing her hand on his hip to pull out some. This is how it always went. Pierre wouldn’t sex her for a while so she could miss him, and then he’d hit her ass with death strokes. He was in love with her tight pussy, just as much as she was in love with his dick.

“Get on top then. All that damn whining.” He fell backwards, toward the end of the bed, and stretched his legs, while she straddled him reverse cowgirl. Getting in the perfect position, Carissa leaned forward and gripped his ankles.

“Shit! You know this pussy good,” Pierre said, smacking her ass, which only made Carissa go harder. Looking back over her shoulder, she winked at him, then squeezed her muscles, making his toes curl. Throwing his head back, he bit his lip as she creamed all over his pole. He was hitting her raw and she was putting in work on his ass.

“Ooh! This dick so good baby,” she said, laying her chest completely flat on the bed. Rotating her hips in a slow motion, she praised the heavens for blessing Pierre with a killer stroke game. He was already fine as hell, so to be slanging the wood like this was a bonus.

Smacking her ass, making it jiggle, Pierre gripped her ass and stroked her middle like he knew she liked it. Watching as his dick disappeared in her tight hole, she creamed again, making him pull out and smack it against her cheek.

“Shit girl. Lay down so I can hit this pussy like I want to.”

Removing herself from his pole, Carissa frowned from their separation. Wiping the sweat beads from her forehead, she laid on her back, rubbing her pierced clit. Pierre had talked her into getting it a few months back, and she was glad she had. She could cum off a simple touch when turned on. Grinning, Pierre threw one of her long legs over his shoulder and rubbed his head against the metal.

“Mmm, you gone make me cum! Shit, right there!” Carissa hissed, throwing her head back.

Chuckling, Pierre slid in without warning and wrapped his hand around her throat. Carissa liked that freaky shit and he always applied just enough pressure to have her screaming out for more. To her, the pain was really pleasure, wrapped up into one. Holding her other leg back, she looked Pierre dead in the eyes as he laid the pipe down. Pierre closed his eyes, not wanting to see the intense stare she was giving him. There was so much love in her eyes, but he wasn’t even about to play them games. He fucked with her on the under, mainly because he didn’t want niggas really trying her if they knew she was his. He also wasn’t ready for no serious ass relationship either. That shit was for the birds.

Pinching her nipples on the verge of cumming, Carissa screamed out in ecstasy. The dick was feeling way too good and she was ready for him to get his as well. The more he made her cum, the more she got in her feelings.

“You ready to cum?” she asked, while fucking him back.

“Yeah, shit. Just keep doing it like that,” Pierre groaned out. He was on the verge of busting and if she kept rotating her hips, his pull out game was going to be weak today. She clasped her muscles and slowly let them go a few more times, making him pull out.

“Fuckkkk,” Pierre hissed lowly, emptying his nut onto her stomach. Letting his dick just hang, he closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. That nut had drained him.

Not wanting to be rude and let him bask in the moment, Carissa used his sheet to wipe the semen away. She didn’t care; they weren’t her sheets, and he more than likely wasn’t the one washing them. Sliding from underneath him and out the bed, she walked to the bathroom to freshen up.

“You didn’t want me to get you a towel and shit?” Pierre asked her, finally opening his eyes.

  “Nah. I used your sheets.”

Looking down at the bed, he gritted his teeth. He had told her ass plenty of times not to do that shit.

“Why the fuck you so hard headed?” he yelled out to her.

Stepping in the doorway, she mugged him and said, “You not my nigga to be taking instructions from.” Turning back around, she shut the door. Shaking his head, Pierre didn’t even respond. They had had the conversation of being together on several occasions, and he was not trying to hear that shit today. Hearing the shower start and the glass closing, he got up to go in the bathroom with her. Carissa closing the door wasn’t stopping shit.

Standing over the toilet, taking a leak, he looked on as she let the water run over her body. He didn’t mind going another round, and he knew she would be down for it too. Opening the glass door, he climbed in.

“You couldn’t wait until I was finished?” Carissa spat. She usually wouldn’t mind, but she wasn’t feeling his vibe at all right now.

“What the fuck is up with you and this attitude all of a sudden? Damn,” Pierre asked, making her face him.

“You know why I have an attitude Pierre, so leave me alone.”

“No the hell I don’t Rissa. I’m not no fucking mind reader!”

Paying him no mind at all,
she reached behind him to grab the Dove bar of soap, but Pierre knocked it out of her hand.

“Stop playing with me,” he hissed.

With tears in her eyes, Carissa quickly looked away. She didn’t know why she was in her feelings so hard. They had only been talking for two months, and she was falling for him and fast. Usually, when he talked to her like that, she’d get his ass in check. Not today though. Carissa was battling with herself over the feelings she had for him and it showed.

Wrapping his arms around her waist and nuzzling his nose in her neck, Pierre just held her. He didn’t know what the hell was going on with her, but she obviously wasn’t feeling him right now, and he didn’t like that.

“What’s wrong with you man? Talk to a nigga,” he said, kissing her neck. Wiggling, trying to get out of his embrace, she moved her neck.

“Nothing Pierre. Just let it go,” she breathed out, trying to control her emotions.

Bringing his hand to the front of her neck, he gripped it lightly, while his other hand traveled down to her wetness. He was gone make her talk, whether she wanted to or not. Pushing his fingers deep inside of her, he asked her again what was wrong. Leaning her head back on his shoulder, Carissa closed her eyes. This is why she was in her feelings now. Good dick ass nigga. Rolling her eyes, she gripped his wrist and pulled his fingers out of her.
