She cries for a few more minutes before finally calming herself down. “Sh-sh-she kicked him out and cut him off from the bank account and all the credit cards. Now he’s sleeping at my place but he doesn’t have any money and I don’t have much either. He’d been helping pay my bills since we started working there.”

“Wow, when it rains it pours,” I say to her. “I’m not sure which jobs I’ll be cutting, but I’ll try to keep you on.” It’s not a lie but it’s not a promise either. I’m not giving her false hope but I’d really like to get rid of her. Let her try to ruin someone else’s life and take advantage of them. I look at Linda who points to her watch indicating that it’s time to get going. “Listen, I have an appointment that I’ve got to go to. I’ll talk to you later.”

Linda rolls her eyes as I fill her in on the story. “Well what did she think would happen if she was sleeping with a married man? Did she think his wife would never find out?”

  “I don’t know, Linda.”

“And who do you think took those pictures?” she asks as we walk into our appointment.

“I’m pretty sure that Mark and his team took them when Colton had his PI trailing them, but who knows. If you flaunt your affair all over town for anyone to see, there’s no telling who did it. Most people who cheat aren’t dumb enough to go out on lunch dates in broad daylight.”

We both get a good laugh out of that and relax while enjoying our mani/pedi’s. When we’re finished, I treat her to lunch and then give her an invitation that I know she can’t refuse. “Linda, there’s something I wanted to talk to you about,” I say.

  “What is it?” she asks.

“Colton and I would like to invite you and your sister to live in the guest house that’s behind the mansion. There’s no reason for you to commute back and forth to work every day and with as much time as you two spend together, you should live together. What do you say? Will you live in the other house?”

She thinks about it for a minute and smiles, nodding her head as she tries to hold back the tears. “Yes, thank you, Ally. We’ll take it and it’ll be so good to be near you and Colton.”

  Chapter 19

  Colton

“Are you ready to cut the ribbon?” I ask Ally as the photographer gets into position.

Everyone is anxious for the new, improved Gateway Times. We ran an article about it and invited the entire city to join us in celebrating the new ownership and the faster, easier way to have their news delivered. Many of the local businesses were eager to donate their services and goods to make today’s event even bigger and better, so the turnout has been amazing.

“I am!” she says. “I’m so nervous, though. This means it’s finally official.”

I laugh. “No, it became official when everything was switched over almost a month ago. You’ve been doing it. It’s not like anything will change.”

“Yeah,” she says, thinking about my revelation. “I think you’re right.” She grabs the giant pair of scissors that are resting along the side of the podium where she just gave her speech and places them against the ribbon. “Man, there are a lot of cameras,” she whispers.

“Yep, just keep smiling,” I remind her.

“Okay, St. Louis!” She yells. “On the count of three, I’ll cut the ribbon. Start the countdown!”

The crowd goes crazy yelling, “Three! Two! One!”

On “One,” she cuts the ribbon and the crowd goes nuts with cheers and begins clapping. She’s so damn proud of herself, and so am I. She’s done a fantastic job. I give her a kiss and wave the photographer over to us.

“Oh, my god! It’s finally official,” she says. “I’m so excited! I can’t believe this!”

“I know, Princess, and I’m so happy for you but I have one more surprise.” The photographer is standing inconspicuously in the center of the front row of people when I drop to my knee. “Allison Lynn Parker, I believe in you and will always be by your side. Will you marry me?”

I pull the ring box out of my pocket to show her the ring but she’s already jumping up and down crying tears of happiness. I wipe them from her face and suck them from my fingers. I can’t get enough of how this woman tastes. When she sees the ring, her mouth drops open as she gasps. “Colton, it’s beautiful! How did you find a ring that looked like this?”

Taking her finger, I slide the ring on and officially make her mine. “There, now we’re official, and I had it designed just for you. It’s a princess cut diamond with baguette diamonds clustering around it. Nothing is too beautiful for my Princess; no diamond, no stone, nothing. You are the most gorgeous woman in the world, Ally.”

She blushes as I kiss her, sealing our proposal. The strangers in the crowd cheer even louder than before and begin to start congratulating us. It’s not long before everyone in the crowd has learned about our proposal and I couldn’t be happier. I want the whole world to know that I’m marrying this woman.

She is my light in the darkness, my anchor in the storm. She points me true north and guides me when I am lost. I don’t know how I lived before her but I don’t think I was ever really living until I met her. Before Ally came in to the picture, I was complacent living in a daily repeat of the same things. Now I want to really live. I want to experience all of things that I haven’t ever done and feel the wind on my face. As long as she’s by my side, I know I will always have her light.

Tyler approaches me as I’m talking to the mayor and congratulates me on mine and Ally’s engagement. I’m glad that he and I are still getting along after I bought out his half of the club, but I think he understands why it had to happen. His other half, though? Brooke? She’s pissed. She was hoping her ill attempt at faxing the business proposal to my attorney would work but he’s been in the business for over thirty years. He’s too smart for her.

“Thank you,” I reply to him. “Are you here alone?” Really my question is whether or not Brooke is here with him but I don’t want Ally to overhear and become upset.

“No, she’s here,” he says, looking around. “She was talking to a group of friends when I left her by the stop sign. I tried to talk her into not coming but she insisted.”

“As long as she stays away from me, I don’t think Ally will mind. She’s busy enough that I doubt the two of them will cross paths,” I say. “So, are you coming to the wedding? You know I’ll need a best man, right?”

“Oh,” he winces. “I don’t know about that. Brooke might get really pissed if I’m not only invited to the wedding but in the wedding. She still talks about you quite a bit. You must’ve really done a number on her,” he says, sipping his beer.

“I didn’t do anything but give her exactly what she wanted,” I say.

“Yeah, but you’re a complete alpha. Dominance exudes your pours, you smell of testosterone, and you wear your confidence like a suit or armor. She really loved you,” he says.

I hate hearing about how much she loved me because it makes me feel bad that she hasn’t gotten over me but I’m with Ally now and that’s what I care about. As long as Ally’s happy, I’m happy. I can’t be worried about Brooke. She’s not my concern anymore.

“How did you guys end up in a relationship anyway?” I ask him. I know Tyler’s always been into a lot of strange shit but being in a cuckold relationship isn’t anything I ever pegged him for so it makes me curious how they ended up there.

“She, uh,” he takes another sip of beer. “I think she was using me to try to get closer to you. You know? Because I was dating that one chick that you never really got to know but then one day Brooke just kind of popped into the picture and she never left.”

I take a drink of my beer. “Yep, that sounds like her. Always asserting herself like a needle in your ass.”

“She kept telling me what to do, and honestly, I kind of liked it. I’ve never been with a bossy woman before. Kinky? Yes. Bossy? No, but I could dig it. We spend all day in these damn thousand dollar threads with our expensive ass shoes and everyone bows to us. It’
s nice to relax and be subservient. It’s humbling.”

I cock an eyebrow at Tyler. He sounds fucking crazy right now but if it makes him happy, I’m happy for him. “I hear you,” I say to him. “If you don’t mind, I’ll catch you later. We’re about to set off fireworks since it’s starting to get dark.”

We part our separate ways and I go find Ally. Even in the dark sky that offers very little light, I can see my diamond shining bright on her delicate fingers. Life is good and I don’t think it could get much better.

  Epilogue

Colton said it was up to me when and where we got married and he left all of the details of our honeymoon up to me, too.

I hated that he didn’t weigh in on any of the decisions but it allowed me to have the exact wedding of my dreams and plan a honeymoon that he’ll never forget.

Our wedding was yesterday and our reception was last night, and everything was fantastic. I’ve never seen such a perfect day; not in any fairytale and not in any wedding magazine. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and all of our family and friends were there. We had to rent the biggest church in St. Louis because practically the whole city came. There were so many local politicians, government officials, business partners, you name it and they were there.

The reception was held in the Casa Loma Ballroom, and talk about exquisite! Our guests had plenty of room to eat and dance, and we had the best time. There was so much fun and laughter. The music and food were great, and there was plenty of alcohol. Even though it was better than any book I’ve ever read, I still felt like it was straight from a fairytale. He calls me Princess, but I felt like a queen and I made sure my king was equally happy.

And I know he’s going to love today. He has no idea what’s in store for him. I gave myself to him before we ever got engaged, and it wasn’t easy to do. I let him do things to me that most couples will never experience but it hasn’t ended there. Colton has very much pulled me into his dark world and made me enjoy many of the same things that he does and today, he’s going to find out just how dark I am.

We had a fairytale wedding with a perfect reception and the perfect cake with the perfect guests but today there is no white dress and silk stockings or lacy garter belt. Not even close. This is about leather and metal, black and dark. There are no bubbles or confetti, there are only whips and belts. Yesterday he put me on a pedestal but today he will put me in a cage.

I’ve booked the week at a secret BDSM sex club. He wondered if I’d be willing to play in the club—and I’ve been wondering the same thing. This is our chance to explore those waters and test them out where we aren’t surrounded by friends and acquaintances. It’s only us and strangers, no judgment. We can play alone or we can play in a group. We can watch or be watched. It’s all up to us.

“Why are we staying in Illinois,” he asks. “What the hell could possibly be here? I thought we were in this hotel because it was a stop along the way to someplace like New York or Philly.”

“Shhh,” I place my finger over my lip as I unzip my duffel bag. “It’s because I have a surprise for you.”

He rolls his eyes. “You and your surprises,” he huffs. “Tell me what it is.”

I place my hand on the center of his strong, muscular chest and push him back on the bed. “Oh no, I’m not about telling you. I’m about to show you.”

The first thing I pull out of the bag is my trench coat. He looks at me like I’m crazy because it’s hotter than hell in June, and there’s very little rain this time of the year in the Midwest. But when I pull out a very skimpy piece of shiny black material that only has two metal rings to hold it all together, his eyes dance. I can see the wheels beginning to turn and I love keeping him on edge. Most of the the time it’s the other way around, but not tonight. I’m filled with surprises.

“I’m going to slip into this because it’s too hot for all these clothes,” I tell him. Leaning over, I get in his ear and whisper. “And once this is on, we’re going somewhere.”

Using my tongue, I flick his earlobe and he shivers in his chair. I watch the chill race down his spine as his shoulders shake. “Where are we going?” He asks as I make my way into the private area between the bathroom and the bedroom.

As I begin undressing to put on my lingerie, I see him craning over in an ill effort to see me in the mirror. I quickly scoot out of the way so that I’m not in his sight. “No, no.” I tease. “No peaking.”

I finally have the shiny black plastic covering my bald pussy and my nipples. The only thing that holds the top and bottom together are the large metal rings that feel cool against my skin: one in the front, the other on the back. One of the rings covers my belly button, the other is on my back. The outfit leaves very little to the imagination but it’s enough to leave everything to the imagination. My curves are on full display, as are my ass and tits. I can see him getting hard beneath his pants as his mind races, imagining what’s next. I know he wants me so bad, but I can’t let him have me just yet because I like this game of cat and mouse that we do.

Parading myself around the room, I let him take in a view of me in my stilettos and skimpy lingerie before I announce that we’re going to be late.

“What?” he asks, stunned that I make mention of leaving. “Where are we going?”

“You’ll see,” I say as I wrap my trench coat around my body and pull the strap tight. “Let’s go.”

When he gets out of the chair, he immediately reaches down to adjust himself and I take great pride in knowing how hard I make this man’s cock at the mere sight of my near nakedness.

When we get to the BDSM club, he’s immediately taken aback. “Ally, are you sure you want to do this?”

“Are you saying that you don’t?” I ask.

“No, no. I’m not saying that at all. It’s just that we haven’t even gone to the club at home,” he says.

“It’s not that I won’t go, but I want to make sure I’m comfortable first. Do you know what I mean? “

  “No, I don’t. That’s why I’m asking. This is a big step.”

“I know, and I’m ready to take it. We won’t be surrounded by people we know. We’re complete strangers here so we’ll blend in with the rest of the crowd and can be ourselves without any expectations.”

The two of us go in and check our—well, my coat—at the door. They also take his jacket and allow us to begin mingling with other guests. It kind of reminds me of the voyeur room only hotter because I can actually see and fuck this time—if I choose to. Colton finds a leather couch where he makes himself at home. I lie right on top of him, “Shall we get this honeymoon started?” I ask as I begin unbuttoning his shirt. This man cannot say no to me when I’m in front of him and I fucking love it.

Once his shirt is open, I undo his belt and then his pants. His cock is already so hard and I’ve not even touched him yet. I know this is going to be one of the best weekends of our life. I take him in my mouth, swirling my tongue around his tip before it slides to the back of my throat. As I’m busy going down on him, I hear him say, “Go ahead,” before I feel a pair of hands on my ass making their way down to play with my pussy. I know they’re not his. My eyes look up at his and I grin while taking him deeper in my mouth. He smiles back at me before pushing my head down with his hand and fucking my throat.

The sensation of the stranger between my legs while I give my husband head makes me come all over the man’s fingers. It’s not until I turn around and see a woman licking my juices off her fingers that I become even more aroused. I’ve never considered the fact that the person might be a female nor have I thought about playing with another woman, but she’s so hot that I can’t help myself.

“Hi, I’m Ally,” I introduce myself. “Care to grab a drink?”

“Nice to meet you, Ally. I’d love to, and they call me Mistress Pandora,” she grabs my arm and leads me away from Colton. His eyes are glued to us but he stays on the couch. As we place our drink order her arm slides around my waist before her hand
rests itself on my ass. I look over at Colton who’s still watching us and he nods in approval.

I think we’re both about to explore many new things this weekend.

The paper is running smoothly and I decided to let Darcy keep working for The Gateway Times. Everyone needs a job after all. It’s a shame that I hired a great, new reporter that took her position but that’s how the cookie crumbles. The important thing to remember is that Darcy gets to keep her job but I put her in charge of the janitorial team. She scrubs toilets now, but it’s quite fitting considering she loves to stir shit. It was Colton’s idea but I quite like it.

As for the rest of the business, we finally got the app working. It’s up and running, and the sales for The Gateway Times has exploded! We’ve sold thousands of online subscriptions and have grown our readership. The revenue that comes from online ads alone is close to a hundred grand per year, which isn’t too shabby if you ask me and this is just the start of things. Instead of keeping that money, though, we invest it into a Christmas fund and every year before the holiday season arrives, we hand out bonus checks using the extra cash so our employees feel rewarded because without them, the paper wouldn’t exist. Colton inspired the idea when he told me how he buys each of his tenants a gift card to go out to dinner every Christmas. I wanted to implement something with my employees but on a much bigger and better scale, and this is how I do it.

We had so much fun on our honeymoon that when we got back, we almost felt like we were going through complete withdraws. Now, we go to the club about twice a week to play with others. I learned quite a bit about myself on the honeymoon and I still keep in touch with Mistress Pandora. I thought I’d be jealous if I saw him with other women but I’m not, nor is he jealous when it comes to other men with me. We do have some boundaries and rules when we’re with other partners but they’re pretty basic: always use protection, never believe anything they say, and don’t let anyone back out of using protection. There’s also another rule of no communication with anyone outside of the club on a private scale. This is to prevent feelings of jealousy and keep everyone honest. As long as we do that, we’re great.
