Corrupted Radiatons

Gabriel: "The list?"
Ridley: *He nodded his head, waving the sheet of paper.* "You were looking for this, correct?"
Gabriel: "You know me too well." *He smirked, nudging his head to the paper.* "What does the first one say?"
Ridley: "Find out the disappearances of several villages near The Swirling Marshes-"
Gabriel: "Right!" *He waved his hand, causing a white glyph to form itself on the ground.*
Ridley: *He turned around in shock, glancing at the glyph.* "What, like now?"
Gabriel: "Well, I am." *He walked towards the glyph, staring at Ridley.*
Ridley: "Oh?"
Gabriel: "But I want you to be by my side-"
Ridley: "We're basically brothers, of course I'll always be by your side."
Gabriel: "And so you should, this is our dream." *He closed his eyes and vanished in a flash of white light.*
Ridley: (Gabby...) *He rolled up the sheet of paper and walked forward, stepping onto the glyph.*
*The glyph hummed and a sudden flash of blinding light teleported Ridley out of Silver Wind Island.*
--
Gabriel: *He started to walk forward with a growing smile.* "I can teleport? But.."
*Gabriel walked into the forest, causing a flock of Scoldrants to fly away from him.*
Gabriel: "What experiment was he talking about?"
--
Gabriel: *He turned around and rolled his eyes, walking towards a folded up bow which lay on the ground.* "I will when I finish my research." *He sarcastically grumbled, pretending to be Ridley.*
Ridley: "Don't mock me." *He smirked, stretching his arm.*
Gabriel: "But, thank you for stepping in." *He picked up the wooden plank, pushing up his glasses.* "How are you feeling anyway?"
Ridley: *He touched his shoulder, forming a fist.* "Fine, it's just Neuron residue which really caused the pain."
Gabriel: "Excellent-"
Ridley: "Speaking of research, I heard you've been doing some yourself!"
Gabriel: "Yes, I have." *He looked at Ridley, walking towards the boy.*
Ridley: "So? What is it?"
Gabriel: *He stopped and looked down at the boy, preparing to pick him up.* "About energy conversion."
Ridley: "In regards to what formula?"
Gabriel: "Changing and re-directing Neurons."
Ridley: "What sparked this? You should've asked for help."
Gabriel: *He picked the boy up with a grunt, carrying him on his back.* "I'm experimenting with shields."
Ridley: "Shields? Hmm?" *He nodded his head with curiosity.*
Gabriel: "I'll tell you on the way." *He smiled at Ridley, walking towards the forest.*
--
Gabriel: *His black scale-like skin, shined slightly in the sunlight.* "A shield? My experiment was a shield? I don't understand.. I need more information!"
*Gabriel started to become flustered with questions, cueing another flashback to trigger.*
Gabriel: "Raphael, that was the man-..."
--
Gabriel: "Ridz, now?!"
Ridley: "Do it, Gabby!"
Gabriel: *He threw a clear stone at the man named Raphael, causing a transparent bubble-like shield to appear around him.* "Great."
Ridley: *He smirked in accomplishment, watching the shield solidify around Raphael.* (Excellent-)
Raphael: *He lowered his arms, looking at the shield.* "..."
Ridley: (It should by theory absorb the Astragons in my Remenistal-)
Raphael: "This abomination! You lowly peasants!-"
Ridley: "Darkened volt, burn a cross and cause the opponent to halt, let your existence fade-"
*Wind started to vacuum the surrounding area into the shield, causing its texture to thicken.*
Raphael: *He glanced at the shield then to his knee, frowning in thought.* (How utterly disgusting! To be harmed in such a manner.)
Gabriel: (Ridz only acquired his new Remenistal powers recently, and look at the level of techniques already at his disposal.)
Raphael: *He gritted his teeth, ripping arrows out of his chest with a twitching eye.* (Something is draining me-)
Ridley: "Argh!" *Dirt blew up into the air around him and a strong gust blew it away.* (I'll put everything into this, after my observations, light is weakened to dark just as much dark is to light!)
Raphael: *He threw the arrows away in disgust, quickly looking at Ridley in shock.* (Those abnormal signatures?! They came from him?!)
Ridley: "NIGHTSHADE" *He pushed forward, blasting a tree sized, dark-as-night lightning towards the shield.*
Gabriel: *He watched the lightning hit the shield, covering his ears.* (The lightning sounds like screeching strings!)
Ridley: *He watched the lightning swirl into the shield, causing it to slowly burn black.* (Everything is going according to plan.)
Raphael: *The golden shine of his eyes faded, cueing him to drop to the ground in exhaustion.* "This cannot-"
Ridley: *He poured a continuous stream of black lightning into the shield, watching his arms violently shake.* (His power shows! This amount of Astragon input would've sent a dozen men to sleep by now-)
Raphael: "Be-" *He took a deep breath, shaking his head in a confused-like manner.* "Possible."
Gabriel: *He started to slide towards the shield as its vacuum intensified.* "No-"
Ridley: (That's it-) *He watched the shield drain the rest of his lightning, causing him to step back in exhaustion.*
Gabriel: *His hair flapped in his face, as the shield continued to push him forward.* (It didn't work! Ridz said the shield would've exploded due to-)
Raphael: *He noticed the darkness in the shield block his vision.* (Thy will not allow these lowly peasants succeed in whatever they are doing!) "HOLY LA-"
Ridley: *The shield suddenly exploded, causing a pulse of shadow to waft past him.* (Excellent-)
Gabriel: *He stumbled back, as the vacuum-like pull stopped.* (The explosion of the shield-)
Raphael: *He gasped in pain and awkwardly leant back, shrouded in a cloud of thick smog-like darkness.* (Thy have never experienced this before-?)
Ridley: "Now, the affinity changeover!"
Gabriel: "What? Now?!" *He gasped, looking at Ridley in shock.*
Ridley: "Yes!" *He grunted in full concentration, causing identical glyphs to draw themselves under Raphael and Gabriel's feet.* (If I lose an ounce of focus he will break free.)
Gabriel: *He held a handful of arrows and gently placed one on the bow, pulling the string back.* (I'm sorry-) *He aimed the bow at Raphael, suddenly shooting six times in a skilful-like manner.*
Raphael: *His body bounced back, as the sounds of arrows piercing his flesh could be heard.* "Arh-" *He looked to his arms, noticing three arrows pierced in each.*
Ridley: *He watched the glyphs pulsate darkness, causing him to slightly lower his arms with less focus.* "It's ready."
Raphael: *He waved the air across Ridley, suddenly gasping at his hand in shock.* "How did you drain my powers?"
Ridley: "We absorbed all your Astragons."
Gabriel: *He stepped closer and lowered the bow, as if Raphael wasn't a threat anymore.* "And every arrow I shot had a powerful paralysing elixir around the tip."
Raphael: *He chuckled with a low tone, catching Ridley and Gabriel's attention.* "I don't need Astragons and I'm immune to any status alignment!" *His body shined white.*
Ridley: (As predicted, he's releasing Radiatons! Excellent.)
Raphael: *His smile slowly faded.* "Huh?" *He grunted with a dropping jaw, watching two streams of golden sand swirl out from his eyes.*
Ridley: (I needed the Radiatons for the process to initiate.)
Gabriel: *He took a deep nervous breath, closing his eyes in a guilty-like manner.* (For the good of the lands.)
Raphael: "W-What?!" (My limbs are growing heavy.)
Ridley: *He watched the golden sand dance and swirl in the air, as an air current pushed it towards Gabriel.
* (Focus! Focus! Focus!)
Gabriel: *He gasped and opened his eyes, as the sand poured into his mouth and eyes.* "Kahg-"
Ridley: *He shook his head and dropped to one knee, causing the wind to die down.* "I think that-"
Raphael: *His body seized up.* (Without my Radiatons I don't have the self-healing ability.) *His body started to shake.*
Gabriel: *He dropped to his knees which knocked the glasses off his face.* "I don't feel so good."
Ridley: *He took a deep breath and stood up, watching Raphael continue to shake.* (Gabby's poison must affect him now.)
Raphael: *White orbs started to float up from his body.* "This is inconceivable! This cannot be possible! Thou two are mortals!" *He dribbled, staring at Ridley and Gabriel with anger filled eyes.*
Gabriel: *He stood up in a proud-like manner, glancing at Raphael with a mature expression.* "If this worked, I promise you I'll use it for the greater good."
Raphael: "You fools, love was not given to you-" *His body fully disintegrated into white orbs, which pulsated and shined into the sky.*
*A gust of wind blew across the clearing and took evidence of the glyphs away with it.*
Ridley: *He paused and listened to the sounds of wind blowing through the forest.* "G-Gabby?" *He wiped his forehead and faced Gabriel, looking at him in concern.*
Gabriel: "I don't think it worked, Ridz." *He opened and closed his hands, shaking his head in failure.*
Ridley: *He paused in disappointment and looked down, noticing Gabriel's glasses on the ground.* "Well, your eyes-" *Sticks cracking in the forest caught his attention.* "Who's there-?"
Scoldrant: *It roared from the trees and stamped its hairless leg into the clearing, facing Gabriel and Ridley with hunger filled eyes.* "Graoofth!"
Ridley: *He gasped in shock, facing the Scoldrant in fear.* "It's one of those violent ones!"
Gabriel: "No! What's that doing here?"
Ridley: "Maybe the commotion with Raphael attracted it?"
Gabriel: (Just our luck!)
Ridley: (I can't use any Remenistal! I'm all tapped out-)
Gabriel: "Luck? Maybe this is what we deserve, committing a terrible crime for nothing!" *He picked up the bow, pulling the string in distress.*
Ridley: "I'm sorry, Gabby."
Gabriel: *He sniffed and shook his head with watering eyes.* "Don't be." *He flicked the string and a blast of white light soared through the air, exploding the vicinity around the Scoldrant.*
Ridley: *He watched the light explode into a massive dirt cloud, listening to the sounds of thick trees snapping in shock.* "What-?!"
Scoldrant: "Skerarh!" *It screeched in disbelief, as its body parts vaporised into light.*
Ridley: (Wow-) *His jaw dropped, as a large gale-like force pushed him back.*
Gabriel: *His eyes widen, as his clothes and hair rapidly flapped backwards.* (D-Did I do that?)
*The wind and dirt settled, allowing Ridley and Gabriel to regain their composure.*
Gabriel: *He lowered his head and paused, slowly moving his arms and legs.* "Th-This power?"
Ridley: "Gabby, communication, what's happening?"
Gabriel: *He looked up and faced Ridley, as if he was in pain.* "Ridz-" *He spoke on his breath and ran up to Ridley, hugging him in a hopeful-like manner.*
Ridley: "Gabby-?"
Gabriel: *He stepped back, smiling in excitement.* "Let's go."
Ridley: "H-Huh? W-Where?" *He looked at Gabriel puzzled.*
Gabriel: "Back to Silver Wind Island and find the list, then onwards to The Guild's Tavern."
Ridley: "Umm, okay-" *He hesitantly agreed to Gabriel's desire, unsure how to respond.*
Gabriel: *He smiled and closed his eyes, tilting his head up to the clouds.* (Teleportation, I can easily grasp what Astragons to gather and the symbols to draw-) *A white glyph drew itself under his feet.*
*A light flickered on the ground caused by Gabriel's glyph, catching Ridley's attention.*
Ridley: "Huh?" *He mumbled and stared at the flickering light, slowly walking towards it.* (Gabby's glasses?) *He picked up the glasses and looked to his side, staring at Gabriel's glyph.*
Gabriel: *He watched the glyph shine brighter, as it made a humming sound.* "It's ready-"
Ridley: "R-Right." *He tightly held the glasses and ran towards Gabriel, stepping on the glyph.*
Gabriel: "Hmph!" *He clapped his hands, causing a blinding light to teleport them out of the area.*
--
Gabriel: "I see.. Everything makes sense now.." *He walked through the forest, glancing to each side.*
*Flocks, packs and bundles of Scoldrants all fled from Gabriel's sight, as if they knew what kind of threat he posed.*
Gabriel: "Ridley and I were best friends.. We wanted a world of peace.. Through means of our intelligence, found a way to power.. The power became corrupted and here I am?"
*Gabriel extended his arm and watched his fingers shoot into the distance, stabbing into hidden Scoldrants in several bushes.*
Gabriel: "Ha, ha, ha.." *He smirked, as if he was enjoying the taste of the Scoldrants.* "I.. Can't stop myself.. I'm going against everything I go for, but- I'm... Enjoying this."
----------
*Arcadia suddenly gasped in disbelief and glanced around in disorientation, covered in sweat.*
Arcadia: "W-What have thy sensed?" *She grabbed the wheels to her chair and her hand slipped, as sweat dripped on to the floor.*
Arcadia: "Is this Niklauseh Susanoo's doing?" *She looked at her hands, watching her fingers shake.* "My Diareamer abilities are linked to the planet.. Perhaps this feeling is the lost Aurorions?"
*Arcadia suddenly leant forward and wheezed, as if she suddenly felt ill.*
Arcadia: "What is this?" *She placed her right hand on her chest and the other on her forehead, closing her eyes.* (As the Diareamer, thy can send off my Astral Projection to anywhere on the lands-)
*Arcadia suddenly opened her eyes and lowered her arms with a dropping jaw.*
Arcadia: "The rate of the yellow-eyed sickness.. It's increased?!"
*A heartbeat-like pulse thumped through Arcadia's body, causing her to freeze.*
Arcadia: *She looked ahead with widening eyes.* "Something unintentionally evil has awoken.."
*Arcadia suddenly wheeled herself out of the room and house, eventually rolling onto the wooden veranda.*
