Corrupted Radiatons

  Champion: "MYSTIC-"

  Gabriel: "Garh!" *His fingers extended like vines, shooting themselves towards the guild.*

  Champion: "SHIELD" *She watched Gabriel's fingers suddenly stop in striking distance, as the shield raised in front of her.*

  Rachael: *She watched Gabriel's fingers twitch, as if they were trying to push further through the shield.* "Fast-"

  Lezard: "We need to leave, little monsters."

  Nathan: "No! We have a chance to finally kill the thing that spreads the corruption!"

  Lezard: "We came here for Destiny and-"

  Rachael: "I agree with Nath-" *She kicked the ground, causing two boulders to erupt up on either side of her.*

  Lezard: (I don't think we should fight that thing-)

  Rachael: "Hrh!" *She punched the boulders, revealing two dagger shaped rocks.* "Piercing Land."

  Champion: "Oh my, I'll back you up."

  Rachael: "Rock Pillar." *She nodded her head and suddenly jumped high into the air, as a rock pillar pushed her up.*

  Gabriel: *He squinted his eyes as if he was smiling, but couldn't tell as his lips had dissolved away.* "Gahahah, an Elementalist? I remember experimenting on your kind many years ago-"

  Rachael: "Shut your mouth!" *She spiralled onto the ground, landing heavily.* "Experiment on this!-" *She suddenly sprinted towards Gabriel, slashing a dagger past his face.*

  Gabriel: *He swayed to the side, avoiding Rachael's slash.* "My turn-" *He pulled his arm forward, trying to retract his extended fingers.*

  Rachael: *She stood directly in front of Gabriel and leant back, kicking him in the face.* "Hah!" *She dropped her leg and punched Gabriel in the face with the dagger's handle.*

  Gabriel: "Gah?!" *He grunted with widening eyes.* (This pain? I'm not used to blunt attacks-)

  Rachael: *She wrapped her arm around the back of Gabriel's neck and violently kneed him in the stomach, before uppercutting him under the chin.* "Hah!"

  Lezard: "Ooo! Fanboys, look at this!" *He watched Rachael continue to hit Gabriel with an endless stream of punches and kicks.*

  *Four fireballs shot over Rachael's shoulder and smashed into Gabriel's face, exploding into small bursts of fire.*

  Gabriel: *He staggered back, as black scales fell off his face.* "A fire Remenistal User?"

  Champion: "FLAME BOLT"

  Rachael: *She waited for the remaining fire to extinguish before jumping back into striking distance.* "Earth Shattering." *She slammed the daggers on both sides of Gabriel's head, watching them violently explode.*

  Gabriel: *He held his head in pain, as a dirt cloud from the daggers floated down to his feet.* "BRISTLING SHOCK-"

  *A visible swirl of green wind waved across the ground, knocking Gabriel off his feet.*

  Champion: "Hmph." *She smiled at Gabriel, as a green glyph faded from underneath her.*

  Rachael: "Rock Pillar." *She kicked the ground towards the falling Gabriel and a rock pillar erupted out of the ground, smashing into him.*

  Gabriel: *He tumbled back and quickly spun across the ground, before landing on his feet.* "How annoying."

  Nathan: "Annoying? A thing like you has no right to talk about annoying. Your existence is annoying."

  Lezard: "Oooo, burn!"

  Destiny: "Yeup!"

  Champion: (That creature, or man has received considerable damage. Perhaps we could defeat the cause of the disease that plagues these lands, and rescue Destiny in one day? Although, it would have been great to know where he got his Radiatons from.)

  Gabriel: "Those of royal blood. Were they trying to stop me or help me? Gahahaha." *His black scales suddenly shined aurora, instantly healing all his wounds.*

  Rachael: "What was that?"

  Lezard: "Its skin looked like the scales of a fish Scoldrant! How it looks rainbow-ish."

  Champion: "Oh my."

  Rachael: "Lezard, sometimes when you heal people, they are still exhausted but restored, make sense?"

  Lezard: "Indeedly-do!" *He observed Gabriel and gasped in shock.* "He's completely restored?!"

  Nathan: "Dammit. I thought it wasn't going to be this easy."

  Destiny: "Yeup." *She meowed in fear.*

  Champion: (That's impossible! Not even the greatest Radiaton Users could do such a feat.)

  Rachael: (Everything we just did? For nothing-)

  Gabriel: "BRISTLING SHOCKWAVE" *He lifted his arms and brown leaves spiralled towards Rachael, alerting the champion.*

  Champion: "We must retreat!"

  Rachael: "But this opportunity!-"

  Champion: "Now! Mask its vision!"

  Nathan: *He glanced at Karol on his shoulders with a frown.* (We got no choice? Damn the Astragons!)

  Rachael: *She formed a fist and punched downwards then punched upwards, causing a tornado-like swirl of dirt to spiral around Gabriel.* "Dust Storm."

  Champion: "FRIGID STORM" *She shouted with an echoing voice and a swirl of ice pebbles spiralled around Gabriel, before erupting upwards, cutting his scales.*

  Lezard: *He watched the brown leaves waft gently towards the ground.* "The Remenistal stopped-"

  Gabriel: *He stood on the spot, staring at a spiralling brown wall of dirt, ignoring the ice which cut his body.* "This is a party, a magnificent feast-"

  *The dirt's current slowed and the ice pebbles stopped materialising around Gabriel, allowing him to scan the area.*

  Gabriel: "Where-?" *He glanced to each side, as his scales started to restore itself.* "They retreated?"

  *Lezard, Rachael, Nathan and the champion ran through a forest at night, listening to owls hoot in the distance.*

  Lezard: "Why are most of these scenarios forest filled?"

  Nathan: "It's called The Twilight Forest?"

  Lezard: "Ooo, how stupid of Lezard-"

  Rachael: "I'm always a fan of brightening up the mood, but right now this isn't the best time to act silly." *She ran ahead of the guild, taking quick healthy breaths.*

  Champion: (What was that rainbow colour shine? How did it heal so quickly? Furthermore, it could possibly be a man? Or a woman?)

  Nathan: "I never would've dreamed that my quest would lead me to a creature." *He mumbled in disbelief.* (Being with the guild.. It led me to the very thing I was originally looking for.)

  Rachael: *She nodded her head.* "I was anticipating The Rostical Guild to be by your side, destroying whatever was causing the yellow eyes to appear. But I never actually imagined it to be alive, or.. That demon looking creature."

  Nathan: "You were anticipating to help me out?"

  Lezard: "Of course! We all were, you silly sausage."

  Champion: *She nodded her head.* "If I wasn't busy at the time, I would've definitely helped you on your quest, too."

  Nathan: "Everyone." *He looked down with a surprised smile.*

  Rachael: "Let's go back home."

  Nathan: "We'll gather our strength and attack that demon with the full force of-"

  Champion: "The Almighty Rostical Guild."

  Nathan, Rachael: "The Rostical Guild!"

  Lezard: "The deliciously divine Guild!"

  Destiny: "Yeu, yeu, yeup!"

  Nathan: "That's the stuff." *He staggered in mid-step and collapsed to the ground.*

  Rachael: "Nath!" *She quickly spun around and jumped forward, pulling Karol up onto her back.* "I'll carry him. You're exhausted, Nath."

  Nathan: "Alright-"

  Champion: *She looked over her shoulder, trying to see if Gabriel had followed them.* (We're not out of trouble just yet.) "Lezard, once we're out of The Twilight Forest, please heal Nathan-"

  Nathan: "I'm fine."

  Rachael: *She frowned and adjusted Karol on her back before running back into the direction they were headed.* "You're just like Luna. Stop being reckless! You don't even have enough energy to run properly."

  Lezard: "For Lezard, let me heal you."

  Nathan: "I-"

  Champion: "It looks like we haven't been
followed, but I don't want to take any chances. You must understand what I mean, Nathan?"

  Nathan: (I'm meant to be strong-.. Isabella.) "Okay, do it." *His words caused the guild to slowly down and quickly gather around him.*

  Champion: "Only a quick burst, Lezard. If we could sense his Radiatons, then he can sense ours."

  Lezard: "Okies." *He hobbled up to Nathan and closed his eyes, seeing a very basic image of the human body.* (If I quickly heal these two tendons, he'll be able to walkies much better.)

  Destiny: "Yeup." *She shivered in the air due to emotional stress, causing Rachael to walk towards her.*

  Rachael: "It's okay." *She held Karol with one arm and brushed her fingers through Destiny's sweat and blood dried fur.* (She's in horrible condition.)

  Lezard: "Quick internal light, HEALING IMPLOSION" *He placed his hand on Nathan's chest.* (Let my Radiatons find the source of the pain-)

  Champion: *She watched Lezard's face twitch with concentration and growing tiredness.* (He still has a far way to go, but he's going great.)

  Nathan: "Ah-?" *He gasped in pain, causing Lezard to giggle.* "Hey, it's not funny-"

  Lezard: "Lezard only healed a tendon and you whimpered like a-"

  Nathan: "Right, shouldn't we leave now?"

  Rachael: *She smiled and started to jog ahead, holding onto Karol over her back with both arms.* (Despite being so busy, we've all gotten pretty close.)

  Lezard: *He watched the guild leave without him.* "What about Lezard?!"

  Rachael: "Lezard? Who's that?!" *She shouted with a smile.*

  Lezard: "Who's-?" *He paused in disbelief.* "I don't even know who I am anymore."

  Champion: (When facing death, there's nothing better to do than laugh.)

  ----------

  Gabriel: *He slowly dragged his feet through debris.* "Should I pursue them? Or should I focus on entering civilisation once again?"

  *A pack of several human-sized wolf-like Scoldrants jumped through the Spacial Funnel, instantly gathering their attention to Gabriel.*

  Gabriel: "Scoldrants that can enter a Spacial Funnel? Perhaps you could be my meal?"

  Scoldrant: "Grrrrwolwith!"

  Gabriel: "Ridz may have been the genius, but that didn't stop me from making remarkable discoveries, for instance-" *He raised both arms above his head and his fingers suddenly extended, violently piercing through all surrounding Scoldrants.*

  *Gabriel licked his teeth and focused his eerie yellow coloured eyes on the sole remaining Scoldrant.*

  Gabriel: "I missed one?" *He glanced at his fingers.* "How silly of me, I only have ten fingers-"

  Scoldrant: *Its tail went in between its legs before it leapt in a circle and sprinted away.* "Growlith!" *It roared in a defeated-like manner and watched a brown leaf spiral past it, as its head detached from its body.*

  Gabriel: "Your Neurons are fantastic-, gah!" *He leant forward and groaned in a sickly manner, as his scales started to vibrate and flap.* "My body?" (It's preparing to go through another metamorphosis?!)

  *Gabriel started to shake and he vomited black blood, causing the stone pebbles by his feet to melt away.*

  Gabriel: "Why? I thought I contained the Radiatons?" *He triggered flashbacks of Klaus and Ginger.* "That power my body absorbed?"

  *Gabriel vomited again and collapsed to his knees, watching his scales crack.*

  Gabriel: "I was going to find a vessel to carry on my business, but now I have an incentive." (It seems the body I wield now is decomposing?)

  *Gabriel exhaled slowly and stood up straight, wiping the scales around his lipless mouth.*

  Gabriel: "One of my own achievements was not only discovering how to craft homunculus, but researching the Spacial Funnels in the world. Turns out, there is a special warp where the Astragons naturally condense. This Spacial Funnel goes directly to the other continent."

  *Gabriel laughed in his computerised-like voice and retracted his extended fingers, causing all the Scoldrants to burst into tiny white orbs.*

  ----------

  Luna: "Fuck yes, fuck yes." *She screamed in excitement and blindly slammed into the corridors, as she tried to move through the castle.*

  Nurse: *A woman wearing white with a glowing orb on top of her hat followed Luna.* "Miss, are you well enough to move about?"

  Luna: "Fuck yea, I am! They're almost here."

  Nurse: "Who?"

  Luna: "The guild! They're gonna be walkin' in any second now. They're already in the city."

  Nurse: "Bless the Astragons, are you an Astraseeker?"

  Luna: "Astra-wat? Nah! I can see through my Scoldrant's eyes, they're comin'!" *She spoke with a chuckle of excitement and relief.*

  Nurse: *She stepped back and touched the orb on top of her hat.* "Security."

  *Rachael, Lezard, Nathan and the champion walked down the road-like path, watching customers line up at several markets and food stands.*

  Rachael: *She smiled to herself.* (I'm enjoying the lively sounds once again.)

  Lezard: "I don't know about you succulent children, but I'm definitely up for a cheesecake and an alcoholic beverage."

  Rachael: "A cider for me."

  Nathan: "Rum." *He shook his head, as if it was an obvious thing.*

  Champion: "None for me."

  Lezard: "Don't be like that, champy-poo."

  Champion: (Those Radiatons, that person. Why is it frightening me? I've encountered many bad poopy-cakes.) "Poopy-cakes-?" *She whispered to herself in disgust and shock.*

  Lezard: "Poopy-cakes!" *He nudged the champion, trying to grab her attention.*

  Champion: "Oh my?"

  Lezard: "You zoned out for a moment. Am I that boring?"

  Champion: "Oh no." *She smiled with her eyes closed, as she hobbled with the guild towards the castle.*

  Destiny: "Yeup." *She hovered above the party with growing excitement.*

  Lezard: "It's been a long day." *He spoke with a smile of relief.* "Time to crack out another delicious joke."

  Nathan: "Do we have to? We still have to see if Karol is okay." *He glanced at Karol who slept on Rachael's back.* "And reunite Destiny and Luna."

  Destiny: "Yeup!" *She meowed in agreement.*

  Lezard: "More of a reason to have a giggle!" *He reached into his robes and pulled out his small pocket-sized book.* "Ahem."

  Rachael: "Here we go." *She spoke with a smile and watched the castle doors slightly ripple to her presence.*
