Blake: *He looked up, noticing Jeremy's envious smug-like smirk.* "You're a bully too!"
Jeremy: "I was caught by surprise, but if you know how the ability works, then it's quite simple really." *He gloated about his own knowledge and tried to calm himself down.* "This would've been different if I were a Scoldrant User."
*Jeremy watched all the vines suddenly burst into nothing, as they disappeared into the night.*
Blake: *He looked up, taking deep breaths.* "Bell is kind, why are you doing this?"
Jeremy: "Firstly, don't talk about Bella. Secondly, you don't even know about what my plans are, y'know what I'm saying?"
Blake: *He looked at his hand, noticing a visible hole through his left hand.* (Th-There's a hole in my hand!-)
Jeremy: "You know what I'm saying, you girly brat!" *He shouted and waved to the side, causing vines to burst up from the ground towards Blake.*
Blake: "No!-" *He squealed with widening eyes, triggering a sequence of flashbacks.*
--
*A very young version of Blake walked towards a couple wearing tribal-appearing clothes.*
Blake: "Mumsy, dadsy-"
Dadsy: "Blakeano, even with our royal bloodline, you have stained the Hegarty name."
Mumsy: *She shook her head in disgust, as if she couldn't look in Blake's direction.* "Send it away."
Dadsy: *He looked slightly startled at his partner.* "Despite his failure, it isn't the first time a Hegarty has failed."
Mumsy: "You heard his destined Soul Link, he can't produce us an offspring."
Dadsy: *He focused back to the confused and lost Blake, as if he had no idea what was happening.* "..."
Mumsy: "It has disgusted our traditions and possibly the death of our family name!"
Blake: "Mumsy? Dadsy?"
Mumsy: "It's not like he can't, but won't have a child." *She swayed her body, causing the royal, tribal-like bangles to sway around her chest and waist.* "This is not nature's way-"
Blake: (Not nature's way?)
Blake: (At a young age, we were made to Soul Link with compatible life partners to extend families.. I don't really remember it well, but, like, I obvi didn't pass their little tradition, aye.)
Dadsy: *He nodded his head.* "As Scoldrant Users, and our bloodline, Tnardloicna, it will shame us."
Mumsy: "Get it away. Sell it off to an orphanage."
Dadsy: *He regretfully nodded his head.* "Zestria-" *He shouted, as if he was summoning someone.*
*Four rays of light, zigzagged out of the ground around Dadsy and shrouded around him.*
Dadsy: *The light faded, revealing a set of dragon arms and wings on his body.* "I will send him there myself."
Mumsy: "Once you leave our territory, ensure to repress your Tnardloicna abilities."
Dadsy: *He flapped his wings and flew off the ground towards Blake.* "You left me no choice. You wouldn't even understand the secret to how our bloodline works with your disgusting nature."
--
*Blake watched a party of adults chatter amongst themselves in a group, as they occasionally glanced in Blake's general direction.*
Woman: "I feel sorry for him."
Man: "Would've been better if he was never born."
Blake: (What-?) *He shook on the spot in shock.*
--
*A man wearing an old-fashioned suit with hat spoke to a large bellied man in front of a massive cage with a group of children in it.*
Man: "Will you accept? He was found, abandoned."
Fat-bellied Man: *He glanced at Blake in disgust and shook his head.* "I'm not taking a cross-gendered person."
Man: "It claims it's a boy."
Fat-bellied Man: *He shook his head.* "We don't even want to take it."
--
*The same man in the old-fashioned suit spoke to a snobby, horse-chinned woman in an old appearing orphanage.*
Blake: *He watched the man talk to the woman from the distance, unable to hear what they were saying.* (Why is this happening to me? Where is mumsy and dadsy?)
Man: "Do you accept him?"
Woman: "I heather, not accepting cheap labour, is that what you're trying to tell me?"
Man: *He leant back and looked awkward, slowly nodding his head.* "Yes."
Heather: "We'll take it." *She smirked and handed the man several bronze pebbles, causing the man to smile.*
Man: *He walked over a small bridge towards Blake, flipping the pebbles in his hand.* "You finally made yourself useful."
Blake: "What-?" *He looked up, ignoring a large mill which sprayed water in random gusts of wind.*
Man: "What a waste of Neurons." *He chuckled to himself and tipped his hat, before walking away before Blake said anything.*
--
Blake: *Snow blew past his face, as he intensely stared in front of him.* "I dunno why, but that's, like, the only thing I remember of my parents, aye."
*Blake whispered on his breath, triggering another flashback.*
--
Jeremy: "You're dead! Y'know what I'm saying-" *He screamed with ecstasy, as he watched the vines pierce the air towards Blake.*
Blake: (I remember watching the vines line themselves up with my vital organs.)
Blake: *He stood on the spot with a loss of hope, waiting for the vines to stab into him.* ".. Bye, everyone-"
?????: "AIR SWIRL" *A gust of wind soared in the distance and cleanly sliced the vines directly in front of Blake, causing them to whack him where they would've pierced.*
Jeremy: "Y'what?"
Blake: "That sounded like-" *He whispered on his breath and looked in the corner of his eye, as if he was afraid to move.*
*A woman with red hair dressed in a dirty, blood covered white dress ran in front of Blake, as if she was protecting him.*
Blake: "Amy?"
Amy: *She frowned with bloodlust.* "That's PKMY now." *A ring of dirt spiralled around her, as wind blew at all angles.*
Blake: "How-?" *He noticed the blood on Amy's rapidly flapping dress.* "You're bleeding."
Amy: "Purge! The warrior!" *She gritted her teeth in rage.* "The flowers, the warrior, Chris and his Scoldrant.. Mystic Boost!"
Jeremy: *He looked at Amy in confusion.* "Pee-Kay-Me? What kind of name is that?! Y'know w-?"
Amy: *She suddenly appeared into striking distance, taking advantage of Jeremy's lack to detail.* "AIR SWIRL"
*A wave of green air pushed Jeremy off his feet, causing Blake to gasp in disbelief.*
Blake: (Rostical?!) "Amy, you don't know Rostical!"
Jeremy: (A kid?! This level of Neurons, it isn't hers?!)
Amy: "Ahhh!" *She screamed on top of her lungs and jumped towards Jeremy, pulsing the dirt where she stood.*
Blake: *He ignored the sap from the vines which oozed off his body towards the ground.* "What's happening?" (This is Purge's Rostical!)
Jeremy: *He fell towards the ground in slow motion, as the swirls of wind kept him afloat.* "As if, I Jeremy, second generation of Fore Hunters will lose to a child!-"
Amy: *She landed with one foot on Jeremy in mid-air, straightening one arm to the side.* "Mystic Boost...." *She uttered on her breath in rage.*
Jeremy: "Feel the full power of my Soul Link! Flora of the North, I feel the restrictions of your wrath and I shall bring that forth, Soul Link pull towards me, Shaman Verdict-Vines."
Amy: "AIR SWIRL" *She waved her straightened arm to the other side in a cut-like manner, causing Jeremy to sudden gag.*
Blake: "W-What?" *His knees started to buckle.* (I-I fink I leaked a little-)
Amy: *She landed heavily on top of Jeremy, watching blood seep through a fresh cut in his throat.* "Your neck has been sliced."
Blake: (I felt the ground rumble. Can she control the wind like him, too?)
Jeremy: "K-Kargh-" *He looked up past Amy and gargled blood, as if he was losing consciousness.*
Amy: (I feel his Neurons..) *She looked over her shoulder and glared at Blake, causing him to squeal in fright.*
> Blake: "A-Amy... What happened?"
Amy: "We're leaving this orphanage tonight. Purge is dead." *She spoke with watering eyes while retaining her anger.*
Blake: *He watched Amy storm past him, as she focused in front with unwavering determination.* "Purge... Is dead?"
--
*Blake stood up and sighed, as he continued to walk towards the hidden facility.*
Blake: (Ever since I learnt how to write, there were stories about parents, their interactions with their children. I never experienced anything like that, I never understood any of that stuff.)
*Blake frowned to himself in thought, as he continued to recollect his past.*
Blake: (Kids complained about their parents being too strict, mean, unfair.. I didn't even have that privilege.) *He formed fists and dragged his feet through the snow, ignoring the sudden depth of it.*
*Blake wiped his cheeks and eyes, causing ice to crack away from his skin.*
Blake: (I was shunned by everyone and everything, until I met the Consultants.. They took me in, saw what I was good at and help me sexy up my abilities. Amy told me everything about what happened with Purge, how she felt the sudden rise in Neurons.. Turns out, not everyone shunned me.. I was really close to them.)
*Snow howled past Blake, rapidly flapping his hair.*
Blake: (After Amy stopped Jeremy, that feral boob, we ended up saying our goodbyes to Purge.)
*Blake stopped and tilted his head to the side, trying to mask his quivering lips even though nobody was in sight.*
Blake: (I still don't believe it.. I still don't.. All I have is you, babe.)
*Blake sniffed and wiped the frozen tears off his face, regaining his composure.*
Blake: (Cameron, although we're equally as busy, we always tell each other stuff..) *He stared at the door, triggering images of the entire Rostical Guild.* (Of course I never showed it to them, but that stupid party, guild, wateva, they.. They actually gave me doubts about the Consultants.)
*Blake raised his arm as if he was going to knock and paused, as if he was excited and nervous.*
Blake: (I told you about maybe getting our freedom.. Your loyalty was like mine, when I, like, devoted everyfing to them.)
*Blake knocked on the door, causing loud thuds to be heard and ice to shatter off it.*
Blake: *He coughed on his hand, noticing specks of blood on it.* (Aye? Am I at my limit? I haven't rested my Neurons after all them fights.) *He paused and looked at the door in an annoyed-like manner.* "Hello?!"
*Blake shouted over the howling winds and quickly wiped the blood off his hand.*
?????: "This is Cameron, I have important duties for the Consultants, leave me be." *A man spoke in a deep authority-like voice.*
Blake: "It's me, bitch!" *He shouted and leant against the door, as if he was growing tired.*
*The door started to open, causing Blake to collapse at the door.*
Blake: "Wazzup?" *He took deep breaths, watching snow blow past him into the facility.*
Cameron: "B-Blake." *He smiled with concern and ran up to him, holding himself in pain.*
Blake: "Cameron." *He reached up, coughing up blood.*
----------
*Nathan opened his eyes and found himself standing in the middle of a foreign-like garden.*
Nathan: "Where-?"
*The sound of bamboo hitting stone, caused Nathan to quickly look over his shoulder.*
Nathan: "What-?"
?????: "Do you mind not standing in the very garden thy look after?"
Nathan: "Thy?" *He spoke with his deep voice, glancing at a woman in a wheelchair.* "Who are you?"
?????: "That is irrelevant. Who are thou?"
Nathan: "Thou am-" *He paused and shook his head in confusion.* "I'm Nathan."
?????: *She smirked as if she already knew that.* "Nathan Brails."
Nathan: "How did-..? Have we met before?"
?????: "Thy am Arcadia."
Nathan: "Oh?"
Arcadia: *She wheeled herself back and coughed, looking down to Nathan's feet.* "If thou mind, we could discuss how thou obtained my special Diareamer Scarbra?"
Nathan: *He looked down, noticing his stood in a small stream of running water.* "Oh?" *He quickly stepped out of the garden and shook his boots, watching water sprinkle on the ground.* "I couldn't feel the wetness."
Arcadia: "Were you expecting dryness?" *She glanced at Nathan like he was an idiot.*
Nathan: "No." *He placed his hand on his head.* "I'm really confused. Am I dreaming, or did I somehow teleport here?"
Arcadia: *She smiled and wheeled herself down a beautiful path, causing Nathan to follow.* "Although the data isn't at its fullest, people are usually oblivious when they're dreaming."
Nathan: "Data?"
Arcadia: "Even the most realistic dreams, there's always something that lacks from the real world.. Be it, the sounds of the wind, the smell of flowers, the touch of water, there isn't enough information for the body to completely comprehend."
Nathan: "You've really lost me."
Arcadia: "This is a dream." *She stopped and locked the wheels to her wheelchair before slowly standing up.* "And you have somehow obtained the key to sharing my presence."
Nathan: "This makes no sense. My guild gave me this pearl-" *He reached up and noticed nothing was in his hand.* (I thought I had it in my hand? I could feel it a moment ago!-)
Arcadia: *She glanced to the side and watched the wheelchair blow away in a puff of silver dust.* "Just because this doesn't make sense to you, doesn't mean it doesn't."
Nathan: "Why were you in a wheelchair if you could stand up?"
Arcadia: "Due to an enemy stealing a power he should return, thy'm quite wary." *She looked at Nathan and noticed his confused face, causing her to sigh.* "Let's see."
*Arcadia widened her eyes and looked at Nathan with golden eyes, instantly catching his attention.*
Nathan: "What are you-?"
Arcadia: "Thy'm also an Astraseeker, and thy see you're a skilled Swordsman."
Nathan: *He reached over his shoulder and noticed he could not feel anything.* (My sword?)
Arcadia: "But you rely purely on the physical aspect."
Nathan: "No I don't. I've raised my Astragons equally as great as my Neurons. I've also mastered the Azure Burst, Air Slash. Even my Double Slash strikes at a distance now."
