Corrupted Radiatons
Page 45
Arcadia: *She shook her head.* "You know the Azure Burst Hard Blade, correct?" *She spoke as if she already knew the answer.*
Nathan: "Yes." *He lowered his arm, as if he understood he couldn't unsheathe his sword.*
Arcadia: "What is the incantation?"
Nathan: "The number? Seventy-four."
Arcadia: "Thy see."
Nathan: "What has its number got to do with anything?"
Arcadia: "It doesn't. Thy just wanted to see if you knew."
Nathan: *He looked confused and suddenly frowned.* "I'm not too interested in playing games or getting tested. I've got Battling Oxident to participate in, I don't have time for this."
Arcadia: (But he's sleeping?) "Thy understand what thou are lacking."
Nathan: "And what is that?" *He sounded unconvinced, as if he had an idea of what type of personality Arcadia has.*
Arcadia: "Your Roharnia, you don't manifest your drive into it."
Nathan: "My drive? Am I meant to be seeing you? Roharnia is the physical manifestation of Neurons, not a drive."
Arcadia: "It is true that this is how Radiatons work, but don't thou ever find it strange how one can muster more Neurons when agitated or emotionally heightened?"
Nathan: *He sighed, as if he was ready to leave.* "It's called adrenaline."
Arcadia: *She nodded her head in understanding.* "Thy will unlock the Azure Bursts you should already possess, strengthen your Roharnia control-"
Nathan: "How?" *He pretended not to be interested in what Arcadia said.*
Arcadia: *She continued, ignoring Nathan's question.* "But thou will never progress until you find your drive and manifest it."
Nathan: "My drive? To be better than Rostical? Titles? You don't know anything about me."
Arcadia: "Your drive to gallop around beating Remenistal is not a drive at all."
Nathan: "What do you know?!" *He emotionally stepped forward, as if he was ready to fight.*
Arcadia: (Willing to fight over small words? Not sure if that is admirable or pathetic.) *She walked up to Nathan and placed one hand on his gut and the other around his collar bone.*
Nathan: "What are you doing?"
Arcadia: "There are seven major points where Neurons are stored in the body. Three of those seven are the most important." *She closed her eyes and tilted her chin upwards, as bubble-like sways of light sparkled around her wrists.*
Nathan: "What-?" *He stopped in mid-sentence and closed his eyes.* (I can feel tension going away. This is the most feeling I can feel in this weird dream world.)
Arcadia: (Thy'm unblocking his Neuron containers. It's quite amazing how skilled he is without properly utilising his Neurons.) *She kept one hand on Nathan's collar bone and raised the other from his gut, towards his forehead.*
Nathan: (I can feel it..)
Arcadia: (This won't make him any stronger than he already was. This is merely his own strength that he's somehow ignored, how uneducated.)
Nathan: (I'm ready for Battling Oxident! I'm ready for Battling Oxident! I'm ready!)
Arcadia: "The process is complete." *She stepped back and opened her eyes.* "Now clear your mind. In order to expel thou out of this Radiaton filled dream, thy will need to burst thou out with additional Radiatons."
Nathan: "And?" *He slowly opened his eyes and looked down, opening and closing his hand.*
Arcadia: "This process is similar to teleportation-"
Nathan: "Not to be rude, but just do it." *He smiled at his hand, as if he could feel something different.*
Arcadia: *She frowned and widened her eyes, causing a swirl of golden light to flash around Nathan.* (Thy'm curious, why would someone like he possess access to that Rosterology item?)
Nathan: *He stared at the warm light shrouding him.* "How long will this take?"
Arcadia: *She looked annoyed.* "Patience."
--
*Karol and Lezard stood around Nathan, watching the pearl brighten.*
Lezard: "Oh, delicious goodness!" *He wailed, shaking his bottom to each side.* "Nathan?"
Karol: "Nafan?!" *He squeals combined with the pearl's brightening light, woke Rachael, Luna and the champion from their slumber.*
Luna: "The fuck?" *She moaned, half asleep, leaning up in disorientation.*
Destiny: *She purred herself awake and blinked several times, causing her and Luna to squint.* "Yeup?"
Luna: "Wat's that brightness?"
Rachael: "Nath?" *She yawned and leant up, facing towards the light.*
Champion: *She appeared asleep and felt a sudden pulse, causing her to look alert.* (This Astragon signature!)
Rachael: "Is it the pearl we gave him?" *She wrapped herself up in brown concealing robes, as if it were a blanket.*
*The champion quickly waddled out of bed and adjusted the straps to her robes, giving the illusion her hunchback was larger than it appeared.*
Karol: "Nafan?" *He touched Nathan and gently rocked him to each side.*
Lezard: *He picked up his cone-shaped hat and adjusted it, as he cautiously watched the orb by Nathan decompose into a spreading glyph.* "Jinkies-"
*The glyph spiralled along the floor, expanding across half of the room.*
Lezard: (Those glyphic symbols? Transportation?) "Ooo, another plot twist? Lezard wonders where we're all going."
Karol: "Lezard!" *He looked over his shoulder to the calm appearing Lezard.* "Halp Nafan!"
Luna: "Wat's the fuss about Natalie?" *She grunted and rubbed her eyes, as she walked towards the bed.*
Destiny: "Yeup!" *She meowed in agreement while sitting on Luna's head.*
Lezard: *He continued to adjust the cone-shaped hat, as if he couldn't get it comfortable.* "It seems our gift from the Seraphic Sunders worked."
Rachael: "This is going to wake everyone up in the castle." *She spoke with motherly-like concern.*
Champion: *She hobbled next to Rachael and Lezard and observed the glyph which expanded onto the floor.* "The patterns in this glyph."
Rachael: *She looked at the champion with concern, as her robes rapidly flapped behind her arms.* "What's happening?"
--
*Nathan watched the foreign-like garden swirl into different colours, as he was being expelled by Arcadia.*
Nathan: (Battling Oxident! I will defeat you, champion! I will defeat everyone there! Their stupid self-placed titles, or forced upon titles, I will prove to them it means nothing!)
--
Luna: *She walked closer to the bed and observed Nathan's sleeping composure.* "Ah? Natalie?"
Destiny: (The pearl, it's gone.)
Luna: "Aye?" *She grunted in shock and a gust of wind blew her beautiful, silky white hair over her shoulders.*
Champion: "This is a teleportation glyph?"
Lezard: (This commotion woke all the girls up, too?) *He nodded his head at the champion, before focusing back to the glyph and the sleeping Nathan.* (It's somehow transcended through the Rosterology item?)
Rachael: "Teleportation? This glyph isn't purple though."
Champion: "It may be a byproduct of what's happening in his dream state. As long as we don't force-wake him up, we should be-"
Luna: "Wake up!" *She grunted and slapped Nathan across the face, as a very faint string of lightning puffed in the line of her slap.*
Champion: "Oh my!" *She gasped the words with her very high tone of voice.*
Lezard: "Jinkies!"
*A blinding light flashed in the room, causing a woman dressed in a white nurse outfit to step into the hallway in shock.*
Nurse: "Is everything okay in there?" *She readied to touch an orb, which sat on top of her hat.*
----------
Nathan: "Battling Oxident!" *He shouted and leant up into consciousness, instantly noticing sand under his hands and the heat in the air.*
Rachael: *She noticed her surroundings, causing her to look annoyed.* "Luna." *She brushed sand off her arms and stood up, helping Karol onto his feet.*
Karol: "F
anks, Waichael!" *He brushed sand off his dancer-like pants.*
Luna: "Wateva." *She grunted and leant up, noticing red rocks.* (We're in a desert?)
Destiny: *She flew into the air and spun around, taking in all the scenery.* (We've been here before.)
Nathan: "Is this.. Gasher Hills?" *He looked confused and disorientated.* "Am I still dreaming?" *He mumbled to himself, oblivious the entire guild stood around him.*
Luna: "Nah, shithead. Your stupid little dream thingy teleported us here, aye."
Destiny: (But if you didn't wake him up, we might not have transported here-)
Luna: *She frowned and looked up towards the sounds of Destiny's thoughts.* (Natalie doesn't need to know that!)
Nathan: *He noticed the guild with slight surprise.* (That woman, Arcadia, did she purposely send me here because I was impatient?)
Karol: "Are you ohkay, Nafan?"
Nathan: "Yeah." *He slowly stood up and scratched behind his head.* "It's still night."
Rachael: *She formed a fist and all the sand and dirt instantly pulsed off her.* "We should head to Surpreon and get whatever remaining sleep we have left."
Lezard: "Ooo, the Inns are too expensive." *He shook his bottom in a defeated-like manner.*
Luna: "Oi, we earn heaps of money doing our quests, don't be a stingy shit."
Lezard: "But what about the savings?!"
Luna: "And wat about livin'?"
Destiny: "Yeup!"
Nathan: *He looked up to the stars and deeply inhaled.* "A few more hours until sunrise."
Champion: "I'm sure my dear friend, Katrina will let us in."
Rachael: *She readjusted the robes and loosened them slightly, due to the sudden rise in the heat.*
Lezard: "And as the delicious guild regained their composure, they started their tired-paced walkies to Surpreon."
Luna: "Shut it, Lizard."
Lezard: *He pretended to whimper while glancing at Destiny, purposely catching her attention.* (You would think, my delicious little fudgeball, that she would call me by my name by now.)
Destiny: "Yeu, yeu!" *She purred in a laughing-like manner.*
Luna: "Oi, wat's happenin' over there?"
Lezard: "Bwarharh."
Rachael: *She walked with Nathan towards Surpreon, glancing at him in a curious-like manner.* "What happened?"
Nathan: "Apparently I haven't been using my Neurons and Astragons to their fullest."
Champion: *She observed the dome-shaped city, as she walked across sandy patches of grass.* (Besides speed, you can't overwhelm my Rostical, Nathan.)
Rachael: "Maybe we'll see some more interesting fights?"
Luna: "Aye?" *She focused her attention on that part of the conversation.* "Battlin' Oxident is already pretty sick."
Champion: "Oh my, if there're any sick related feelings, it goes away after every match." *She smiled while closing her eyes.*
Luna: "No-, I mean-"
Nathan: "Some fights can get pretty bad." *He frowned with a smile.*
Karol: "If it gets bhad, but dhon't you give up?"
Nathan: *He looked surprised by Karol's question.* "I'll never give up."
Champion: "..."
Karol: "Uhm." (If the fights are bhad, why?) *He looked confused, catching Rachael's attention.*
Rachael: "There was a quote from one of my old instructors, back when I was training for a grading."
Karol: "Grading?"
Rachael: *She shook her head as if it didn't matter.* "Fights are like a race, even if it hurts, if you don't keep going, you'll never finish what you started."
Karol: "Oh!" *He nodded his head in understanding.* "I still dhon't understand." *He skipped on the small white pebbles.*
Rachael: "Hehe."
Lezard: (A midnight stroll..) *He glanced at each guild member.* (We've been through some deliciously crazy stuff, nobody has really questioned the teleportation, or perhaps we're just really tired?)
Nathan: (If you don't keep going, you'll never finish what you started...) "I will win it this time."
Lezard: *He stopped and looked up, observing the grey coloured sphere.* (Surpreon.. Father monster, you always enjoyed visiting this city, didn't you?) *He adjusted his cone-shaped hat, as if he was being respectable to Millard.*
Champion: *She stood outside Surpreon, staring at the rippling entrance.* "Are you sure you want to enrol in a match?" *She smiled and stepped forward, hobbling into the city.*
Nathan: *He walked through the wall, staring at the champion's back.* "Why?"
Lezard: *He hobbled after the champion and Nathan, wiggling his bottom with each step.* (Walking through Surpreon and Silver Wind Island walls-)
*Lezard looked over his shoulder and watched the stone appearing walls ripple around Luna, Rachael and Destiny.*
Lezard: (It feels like walking through a waterfall, but without the pressure and being wet.) *He looked up to the night sky and stared at the twinkling stars.* (I think of the most amazingly delicious things..)
Champion: "What if you get into the semi-finals? I won't go easy."
Nathan: "Another opportunity to get you?" *He smirked, punching his hand in confidence.*
Lezard: "Such passion is spine-chillingly riveting." *He giggled sarcastic-like, making unusual noises.*
Rachael: (Champion and Nath always seem a little different when it's nearing Battling Oxident.) *She smiled to herself in thought.*
*The guild walked through empty carriages and stands, giving the illusion it was an abandoned food market.*
Nathan: *He shook his head, wiping his face with annoyance.* "Riveting? Lezard, speak normally."
Champion: "Oh, but it is." *She shivered her body, playing along with Lezard's humour.*
*Rachael adjusted the robes around her face, as if it was significantly colder than Gasher Hills.*
Nathan: *He turned around, facing Rachael in her out of uniform robes.* "Raz, don't you think it's weird?"
Rachael: "I think, picking out the party's flaws could be quite temperamental to the team structure." *She chuckled, adjusting leather gloves around her fingers.*
Champion: (Trevour..) *She smiled to herself and sighed, as if she missed him.*
Lezard: "Yay, the ladies love Lezard." *He giggled at Nathan.*
