Please, Sir Page 11

by Leigha Taylor

It isn’t long before he shouts my name and stiffens; I feel him pulsating inside of me and I’m filled with joy at being the one to make him feel so good. He leans against me, reaching forward to smooth my hair back from my face as he rocks gently within me, easing himself slowly out. I feel his loss as he breaks our connection, but he helps me up and leads me back to the bed to lie with him.

“Jesse?” I ask. I can feel that this session is over; the man looking at me now is my Jesse. I love both sides of him with every ounce of my being, but I just know my time with Master J is done for now. “That was perfect,” I whisper. “Thank you.”

“Thank you, beautiful girl,” he says as he plants kisses along my forehead and down my nose before reaching my lips. He turns to straighten the covers we left rumpled earlier and pats the bed, silently asking me to get in. He is right behind me, settling under the soft weight of the covers and reaching for me. I curl against his side with my head on his chest and my hand over his heart.

“I can feel your heartbeat,” I muse. “It’s strong and steady. It’s like the metronome for my own personal love song ticking away in your chest.”

“Every single beat is yours. Every single breath I take in belongs to you. You’ve captured me so completely, Allison. The girl I loved has become the woman I can’t be without.”

“The boy I loved has become the other half of my soul,” I answer back softly. I thought I’d known happiness in my life, but only now, only with Jesse, do I feel whole. “Please, Sir,” I whisper against his skin. “Will you love me forever?”

“I’m not sure forever is long enough.” A single tear slips down my face at his answer. I swipe it away as he says, “I will love you beyond forever and for the rest of always,” and I fall asleep in his arms, knowing I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

  The End.

  Acknowledgements

If it was possible to individually thank every single person I’ve met since I became involved in this whole crazy, amazing Indie book world, I would. It isn’t, so I have to thank those that come to mind right at this moment and hope you all know how grateful I am for every experience I’ve had.

Kate Roth – Woman, what would I do without you? You remind me to breathe when I forget and you give me priceless advice, never making me feel like it’s a bother. You have become one of my best friends. If I never wrote another word, we would still be friends forever.

Retta Rusaw – You’re crazy busy with your life, your son, your blog(s), your PA job, helping other authors, making graphics… The list goes on. Somehow you still make time for me and act as my PA when I need one even though I pay you in bookmarks and magnets! This crazy ride wouldn’t be nearly the same without you.

S.E. Hall – You will probably be mentioned in every single book I write because you’re just that important to me. The moment I picked up Emerge, I knew the author behind it was someone special, and I still pinch myself every single day because I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to call you my friend and mentor.

To my beta readers: Retta Rusaw, Diana Wagner, Becca Liberty, Sara Mack, Brittany Alexander, and Mary Cowles – THANK YOU. The world cannot begin to imagine how important beta readers are to authors. You tell me when I mess up, when I do it right, and everything in between. I hope you’ll all stick with me for every single book I write.

Kristen Switzer – You’re fantastic. What else can I say to the fastest, sweetest, most perfectest editor out there? (Are you cringing at most perfectest? Sorry!) Without you, way too many rules would have flown out the window and I can’t thank you enough for helping me get this manuscript as close to perfect as is humanly possible.

To my readers – Thank you for taking a chance on a completely unknown author with To Hell and Back. I hope you will love this one just as much and that you will continue to read what I’m putting out. Without you, there would be no reason to continue and that is something I will never forget. I hope to meet as many of you as I possibly can at some signings over this next year – let’s have a great year!
