A moan escaped my lips when he reached my earlobe. My whole body was on fire as he licked a trail back to my collarbone. I knew I was soaking wet with need, and out of impatience I reached down in between our frenzied bodies, blindly trying to find the top fastener on his pants. As I fumbled with the waistband, he delivered another slap to my ass.

“I say what you do,” he said, backing away from me. “Do you understand?”

“Yes,” I said. His eyes were darker than I had ever seen them, almost like he was drunk, but I hadn’t seen him drink anything beyond the first glass of champagne. And something told me a man like Dylan could hold down more than a flute of champagne.

I twitched under his fierce gaze, desperately wishing for his hands to come back to my body. Every nerve was activated and waiting for him. Luckily, he didn’t make me wait long.

  “Turn around,” he said.

When I did, he unzipped my dress, taking his time when he reached the end of the zipper. I could feel the breeze through the doors, blowing against my skin. His hands went below the fabric and enclosed my ribs, spreading warmth throughout my body as he moved up my back to my shoulders. He pushed the dress down my body, leaving me there in nothing but my thong and heels.

“Do you like being disciplined?” he asked, his hand resting on the bare cheek of my ass.

“Yes, very much,” I moaned, hoping to excite him to do it again. I wondered what it would feel like, his hand on my bare skin. Would it leave a mark? I decided I didn’t care.

Without warning, he spanked me again. I called out as the pain registered through me before melting into pleasure.

“God, you’re beautiful,” he said before his hand landed on my ass again. I moaned at the fire he lit inside me. “Ellie,” he whispered and spun me around to face him again. Before I could even take another breath, his lips claimed mine, this time with much more heat and fervor than before. My pussy ached, ready for him. I knew if he touched the outside of my panties, he would find them soaking wet.

He kissed me like a man possessed, backing me up until we both collapsed across the bed. He pinned me down with his weight, and then lifted my arms up above my head and held them against the soft comforter.

He left me only long enough to strip off his clothes. When he returned, he was completely naked and as he straddled me, I felt his cock firm and at attention, pressing between my legs.

“Ellie, you’re so fucking wet,” he hissed. He smiled a wicked half-smile at the discovery and lowered his fingers between my thighs. “I want to fuck you so hard.”

“I want you to.” I arched back against the bed as his fingers grazed my panties and tried to press myself against him. A mountain of pressure had been building beneath the surface all night, and now I was ready to explode.

“Dylan, please, touch me,” I pleaded, my eyes wide and locked on his.

His fingers left me and he smiled again. “Not yet.”

He pushed off the bed and left me laying there, panting. I sat up slightly and watched as he strutted across the room to the dresser. My heart hammered, thinking about the scarves. I looked back at the posts on the bed. They were much too far apart for me to be tied to them. My shoulders would dislocate, and although I knew Dylan liked to inflict a little painful pleasure, I was sure that would be taking things too far.

He came back with a silver chain that matched the metal of the diamond necklace and rings. Before I could ask what it was, he attached the chain to each of the nipple rings and gave a slight tug.

I cried out at the mix of pleasure and pain that ripped through my body.

Without another word, or any explanation, he lowered back to the bed, and dropped the chain. With one move, he ripped my panties off of me. I heard the elastic snap and he threw the destroyed lace to the floor. I wiggled with anticipation, my pussy pulsing with long overdue need for his touch. He threw me one more devious grin before he pushed apart my legs. For a moment, he stared at me, and I jerked to put my knees back together to block his view.

“Ellie, you have to trust me.” He pushed them apart again, gentler than before, but still making his intent clear. “I want to look at you.”

I nodded and tried to relax. Before my insecurities could take over again, Dylan licked his finger and slid it between my swollen lips and all thoughts of decency went out of my head. He fingered my clit with small circles, sliding easily in the wetness, to quickly get me close to crashing over the edge, but he stopped short of letting me finish.

He waited till I calmed down again before starting his circles again and I shot right back to the peak. I moaned but muffled the ending, not wanting to be too loud.

“Let me hear you, baby,” he prompted as I tried to hold back my reaction to each move he was making.

He thrust a finger deep inside me and I couldn’t stop myself from calling out his name.

  “Fuck yeah,” he growled.

I had my eyes shut, my head pressed into the pillows, and before I realized what was happening, Dylan’s tongue replaced his fingers between my wet thighs and I screamed out again as he sucked my clit between his lips.

My eyes flew open and I nearly died as I watched him bobbing his head in between my legs.

“Oh, my God!” I said over and over again as he slid his fingers inside of me. “Dylan, I’m going to come,” I said. My fingers scratched down his shoulders as I gripped into his flesh but he didn’t slow.

His other hand reached up and wrapped the chain that was resting against my stomach, around his finger. I rocketed back against the pillows, fucking his face, as he pulled the hardest yet on the nipple rings. When he slid a wet finger inside my ass and finger-fucked my virgin hole. I lost it, seeing stars behind my eyelids. I came hard and fast, panting and clawing at him as my body rode each wave.

Dylan didn’t let me recover at all before he grabbed my hips and pulled me down to the edge of the bed. With very little effort, he stood me up, flipped me around, and bent me over the bed. He slapped my ass hard and I screamed into the mattress. He slapped me again and I nearly exploded. Each slap of his powerful hand vibrated through my body and tingled my already-on-fire nerves. I waited for a third, but it never came.

  “Dylan?” I panted.

I turned my face just to see him reach for a condom from the side table and then quickly slide it down his thick shaft. Then in one smooth motion, he grabbed my hips hard and slammed his cock into me fully, with one powerful thrust.

“Shit!” I yelled out loud before stuffing the pillow in my mouth to silence myself.

“Fuck! Nice and tight,” he growled as he began thrusting in and out of me. He was fucking me harder than I’d ever been fucked and it drove me higher and higher than I already was. He spanked my ass again as he fucked me, and the walls of my pussy tightened around his cock.

“Damn! Fuck, Ellie,” Dylan gasped and I smiled to myself. I loved knowing that I had that effect on him.

He groaned and I felt him thicken. I knew he was close and I was on the edge. As his cock pulsed and throbbed inside of me, I peaked again as well. When we both were finally still, he collapsed over me, his breath hot against my back as he rested his cheek against me. When he pulled away from me, he gently stood me up and turned me around to face him. His face was coated in a sheen of sweat and when he kissed me, I could taste the salt on my lips. He removed the nipple rings gently and put them in my hand before retrieving a bottle of dry oil from the bedside table and applying it to my sore skin.

The special care he was showing me was overwhelmingly sweet and I found myself speechless as I watched him.

“Get comfortable,” he told me. “Take whichever side you want. I’ll be right back.”

I nodded, and lay back on the bed and watched him, in all his naked glory, as he crossed the room and went into the attached bathroom. I fluffed the pillows and reclined back, letting the reverberating sensations of that final, earth-shattering orgasm, wash away. I was left feeling boneless and exhausted—in the best pos
sible way—and I shut my eyes, trying to memorize and relive every single second of the encounter and wondering how long I’d have to wait before we could do it all over again.

I knew it went against all of my better judgment, but being with Dylan was becoming a slight addiction.

Oh, well. There were probably worse things.

  Chapter Six — Dylan

Ellie was already asleep by the time I got back from the bathroom.

She is beautiful. My body ached with need for her, even though I’d just had her. There was something about her that left me fulfilled and hungry all at once. She wasn’t like any other woman I’d ever fucked before. She had a gentle innocence and desire, but she was a complete firecracker as well, and wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself. A girl like her was meant to do big things in this world. Things I couldn’t help her with.

I let out a long sigh. How stupid was I to think I could ever give her what she needed? What she deserved? Yeah, I could buy her anything she wanted and fuck that sweet pussy to oblivion, but relationships weren’t built on sex—or money.

And my life revolved around the latter.

My business was my life. She’d be hours away at school, and there was no way to make a long-distance relationship work between us. Ultimately, we could try for a little while, but we would only end up hurting each other. I didn’t know how she felt about me, but I didn’t want to be the one responsible for her heartbreak or for her setting aside her goals and dreams to try and work her life around mine.

When I’d first started my company, I’d traded the idea of a normal life with a wife and kids. I knew it wasn’t something that would be possible once things took off. I needed to have control of every move, every minute of every deal. Handing over the business I had invested blood, sweat, and even a few tears into, wasn’t an option. It was mine.

A girl like Ellie doesn’t deserve that.

I couldn’t even ask her to try.

Every fiber in my body was rebelling against the plan formulating in my mind, but I knew there was no other way.

I climbed into the bed beside her and wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her tight against me. My heart rate slowed and I let myself relax into her soft form. Her curves and softness pressed up against my hardened muscles. We melded together and I sunk in deep.

The next time I opened my eyes, the sun was streaming in through the still-open glass doors that led to the private patio. Ellie was still wrapped up in my arms and my heart sank, knowing it was time to say goodbye.

“Ellie? Hey, Ellie.” I shook her shoulder.

She opened her eyes slowly, straining against the light of the bedside lamp I had turned on. “Dylan? What time is it?”

“It’s seven. Listen, I need to take you back to your room now.”

She squinted at me and I could tell she was confused. “My room? Is everything okay? Is Dixie okay?”

She sat up, holding the sheets against her.

“I’m sure Dixie’s fine.” I hesitated, taking a deep breath, “I just have a lot to do. I have to get ready to leave, so I’ll walk you back to your room.”

  “You’re leaving today?”

“Yeah. So, I need time to pack and everything.”

“All right, umm, sure. Do you want to exchange numbers, then? Or, how do we—?”

I shook my head. I hated myself already for what I was about to do, but it couldn’t be avoided. “Ellie, I can’t.”

“You can’t what?” she repeated. This time, she propped up to a sitting position and pulled the sheets up with her.

“I can’t promise you anything. This—you—everything was a lot of fun, but this is where it ends.”

Her eyes were fully open now and throwing daggers my way.

I deserved every single one, but they still hurt. “Please, let me walk you back.”

She jumped out of the bed as if she had been shot from a cannon and raced to gather the trail we’d left of her clothes. She threw her dress on over her head and struggled with the zipper in the back. I stepped forward and extended a hand to assist her but she whirled around like I had a hot poker at the end of my arm. “No, don’t touch me.”

“Ellie, come on. Don’t be like that. This isn’t personal.”

“The hell it isn’t! I know, I know. I should be gracious and cool and say something detached and sophisticated, like ’Thanks for the experience’ or whatever. But, you know what, that isn’t me. I knew this was a long shot, but after everything last night and our conversation, and then…” She paused, staring at the bed and then seeming to lose her concentration. “You know what, it doesn’t matter.”

She reached behind her, finished the zipper and then unclasped the necklace she was still wearing. The one I’d bought for her.

“Here,” she said, holding it out to me.

“No, Ellie, it was a gift. I don’t want it back.”

“It wasn’t a gift. It was a payment. You gave me a diamond necklace, I fucked you. Right? That’s what this was? An exchange?”

She slipped her shoes on, not waiting for an answer.

Not that I had one to give her anyways.

“I should have known better. I’m not the casual sex kind of girl. I don’t know what I was thinking.” She looked away and wiped the corner of her eye. “God, I fucking hate you!”

I wanted to stop her, to tell her that she was wrong. It hadn’t been just a fling. But, I knew I couldn’t. It would be better for her to leave now. She would be sad and disappointed, but at least she would get out with her heart still in one piece.

She held out the necklace again and I kept my hands tucked in my pockets, barely able to look at her. She gave a final snarl and threw it down on the bed.

“Goodbye, Dylan.” She stormed out and slammed the front door of the room before I could say another word.

Once she was gone and the furious clacking of her heels was just an echo, I picked up the diamond necklace and threw it against the wall. “Fuck!”

Diamonds scattered everywhere and I slumped down on the bed, wondering what the fuck I’d just lost.

  Chapter One — Dylan

“How’s your vacay going? Please tell me you haven’t touched your computer.” I smiled at my mom’s voice. It had been too long since I’d called her just to say hello. Although if I was honest with myself—I knew my motives for picking up the phone that afternoon had been less than pure. I felt like a major fuck-up—even though most people would consider me extremely successful.

After upsetting Ellie, I needed a distraction. And my mother was the first one in line. Okay, she wasn’t but I decided that calling my mom made more sense than plowing through the in-room bar selections at nine o’clock in the morning.

“I’ve barely touched it, I swear,” I answered.

“Oh, Dylan! You promised me!” She was serious but I could hear the gentleness in her voice and knew she’d forgive me.

“I know, I know. Just a few emergencies. You know how it is.”

“Yes. Your father was the same way,” she said with a sigh.

I bristled a little. She rarely talked about my father, so whenever she brought him up in conversation it threw me off track. My father and mother had shared a brief, passionate affair that lasted less than a year. When he’d found out she was pregnant, he split. He’d been financially supportive but that was pretty much where his involvement had ended. My mother raised me all alone, and although I occasionally spoke with my father, I couldn’t say I knew him—nor did I want to.

“Well, it’s back to the grind tomorrow, I’m afraid,” I said, shifting away from talking about him anymore. I really wasn’t interested.

“That’s too bad. But selfishly, I’m happy you’ll be back in the city. I miss my Thursday night dinner companion, you know,” s
he replied. I could almost hear the smile in her voice.

“This week, I’m all yours. You pick the place.” I knew it was silly to tell her to pick the place—she always did. Thursday night dinner had been a standing ritual for several years. The only time we’d missed it was if one of us was sick or out of town. My office staff was trained to block out Thursday night automatically. It gave me and Mom a chance to catch up. We’d share dinner and wine, talking about everything from world events to work problems to the stock market. My mom fell more on the conservative side and I was more liberal, so from time to time we clashed, but regardless—it was my little window of sanity in my chaotic life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

“Excellent. So, tell me, what have you been up to? Did you meet a nice young lady?” she pried. I smiled and rolled my eyes. I never shared my experiences with my mom, but she’d always ask. She knew I went out with various women, but I had the feeling she thought they were longer relationships—not ones that expired after forty-eight hours. Although, I’d never brought a girl out to meet her before, so maybe she did know they were all casual flings.

“No, Mom,” I answered like a naughty little boy.

“I find it hard to believe that on an island full of girls in bikinis with nothing to do but tan, eat, and drink, you didn’t meet one?” Her voice told me she didn’t believe me for a second.

“Nope, I must have picked the wrong beach. Everyone here is on their fucking honeymoon or something.”

  “Language, Dylan.”

“Just saying. Not a lot of single girls here.” I thought about Ellie and my stomach churned. “But it’s all good. Really. I went jet-skiing, snorkeling,” I paused to grab the brochure off the bedside table to continue listing activities, “kayaking and rode a horse, right on the beach.”

In reality, I’d gone paddle-boarding. Once.

But she didn’t need to know that. She only wanted to hear about the positives, and I didn’t want to disappoint her.
