I laughed. This is how I wanted to remember them. Just like this. I turned back to the trophy and made my wish.

About the Author
K. F. Griffith has always loved stories. When he was in the fourth grade, his teacher destroyed any chance that he would ever be satisfied with the real world when she read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory aloud to the class. Since that time he has pretended to be interested in everyday things while secretly searching for Golden Tickets. Despite his best efforts, he eventually became an adult. Important choices had to be made, so he did the next best thing to escaping forever into the world of stories by becoming a librarian. He holds degrees in Creative Writing and Library Science from the University of South Florida. He can often be found facilitating workshops on personality type and the Leadership/Management Spectrum. He lives in Florida with his wife – the closest thing he’s ever found to a golden ticket – and their pets.
