Katy inhaled the rest of the line and dropped the straw on the table and sat back on the couch.

“You’ll feel better very soon, Katy,” Luca said. “You will finally feel like the life of the party.”

Paul took the tray away from Katy and passed it back to Lena. She put the tray on the table and picked up a straw and bent over.

“Now,” Lena said and smiled, “where were we?”

Lena inhaled the first half of the thick line and pinched her nostril closed. She looked at Luca as she inhaled the second half and winked. She licked her finger and picked up the residue on the tray and rubbed her fingers on her gums.

Instantly, Lena felt the coke making a bee-line toward her brain. Her body felt like it was pure electricity and she felt a euphoria that she hadn’t felt in a very long time. She stretched her arms above her head and took a deep breath.

  “Good?” Luca said to her.

“The absolute best,” Lena said and giggled.

  Katy started giggling too.

“Look who busted through the silence,” Luca said and patted Katy on the knee. “Feel better?”

  “Amazing, Luca. I want another.”

Paul and Luca did the remaining lines and Luca scooped out more cocaine and cut up eight lines. The tray was passed around and around the table until the foursome was joking and carrying on like old friends. It was a deranged version of The Big Chill.

“It’s the drip that I love,” Lena said after she did another line. “That drip feels so good.”

She rested back on the couch and her robe came open. Luca stared at her from across the room and lit a cigarette. He dragged deeply and exhaled as he stared at her through the smoke.

“Isn’t my wife the most beautiful creature on the planet?” Luca said and did another line.

“She is one hot woman,” Paul said and stared at Lena. “I can’t wait to tax that ass.”

“Tax?” Luca said. “What is that?”

“You know, fuck. It’s an expression,” Paul said.

Luca laughed as he stared at Lena.

“He can’t wait to tax your ass, baby. I thought he was going to pay me for it!”

“I never pay for ass,” Paul said.

“Really?” Luca said and nudged Katy. “He never pays for ass, he says. Do you believe that?”

“Of course I do. I believe everything that Paul says.”

“See,” Luca said and pointed his cigarette at Paul, “this is a good woman. She believes everything you say. I myself don’t, but I suppose that doesn’t matter since you’re not…taxing my ass, right?”

“Right,” Paul said and scowled at Luca. “Luca, let me get a smoke?”

“Smoking as well, Paul? Aw hell, give me one too!” Katy said and laughed.

Luca handed Paul and Katy cigarettes and looked at his watch. They had just moments left before they ceased acting as if they were friends.

“Good music, Luca,” Paul said as he ran his hand up Lena’s thigh. “Is this Let It Bleed?”

  “No,” Luca said, “Sticky Fingers.”

“Of course,” Paul said and took a drag of the cigarette and smiled at Lena. “Speaking of sticky fingers, baby, why don’t you hop up on that table and give us a little show.”

“Like dance?” Lena said and giggled.

“Burlesque,” Paul said and rubbed her leg. “Tease, as in strip.”

Lena looked at Luca and shrugged. He nodded and gestured toward the table. Lena stepped onto the coffee table and Katy grabbed the tray and jumped up to give Lena another line of coke.

The group applauded and Luca’s eyes were glued to her as she danced to the song from one of the few memories he would not allow the Elders to fully erase.

In every man’s life, there is one song they remember above all others because it was the song that was playing when they saw their first love. For Luca, the song was Sway by the Rolling Stones and the love was Gabriella Teresi. Luca watched Lena as she moved slowly on the table and opened her robe. He rubbed his chin and smiled at her as she untied the sash and wiggle the robe off her shoulders. He remembered the first time he met Gabriella as Lena’s robe floated to the ground.

High as a kite and filtered through the smoke in the room, even Katy fell in love with Lena as she danced before them in a beautiful corset and red silk panties.

Her body looked absolutely amazing and Paul Kirschner’s heart pounded in his chest as he thought of all the things he was about to do to Lena.

Luca Maretti fell in love with Lena with a heavy sadness in his heart as he thought that after that night, he would never see her again.

The song ended and both Paul and Luca stood at the same time to help Lena off the table.

“Well, aren’t I a lucky girl?” Lena said as she took Paul’s hand.

Luca sat back down and stared at Katy Kirschner who was doing yet another line of cocaine.

“Guess we converted you, huh?” Luca said as he took the tray from Katy’s hands.

“Yes!” she said and wiped her nose. “I feel like I can do anything on this stuff!”

Luca stared across the room at Lena and Paul and scowled.

Lena finished her drink as Paul rubbed her neck.

“Baby, that was absolutely amazing. I’m rock hard. Rock fucking hard!”

“Thank you,” Lena said and looked across the room at Luca.

  She felt his tension.

“How do you feel?” Paul said.

“Wasted,” Lena said and laughed. “And horny! Yes, wasted and horny.”

“Hmm, that’s a coincidence,” Paul said and put his hand on the inside of Lena’s thigh. “Shall we adjourn to the bedroom?”

“Yes!” Lena said and turned around and saw Luca and Katy. “I mean, no.”

“No? What the fuck do you mean, no? I’ve been waiting for this all damn night.”

Lena looked across the room at Luca and he was rubbing Katy’s neck. He grabbed Katy’s face and began kissing her slowly and gently. Katy came up on her knees and crawled into Luca’s lap. He caressed her face as he kissed Katy passionately. He looked up at Lena and smiled.

And Lena did not like that at all.

“No, Paul,” Lena said as she rose on her knees beside him, “I meant no we can’t go to the bedroom because I can’t wait!”

Lena hopped into Paul’s lap and straddled him. She rubbed her body back and forth against his and she felt a rush of tingling. Whether it was the coke or the liquor or just the high of feeling again, Lena felt like an animal as she grinded against Paul. She bounced up and down in his lap and her breasts spilled out from the top of the corset.

Paul’s eyes glazed over as he tried to slow her down.

“I’m going to blow right in my pants,” he said as he pressed down on her shoulders.

“There’s another coincidence,” Lena said as she fought against Paul. “Cum on me!”

“Whoa!” Katy said and stood from the couch. “What the fuck is going on here?”

Luca jumped up from the couch and grabbed Katy’s arm.

  “Lena!” Luca said.

“Maybe we should stop,” Paul said as he looked around Lena’s body and stared at Katy. “Just for a minute. I told you we should have just gone off to the bedroom. Katy’s pissed…she even swore. And Luca isn’t too pleased either.”

“Fuck them, baby,” Lena said into Paul’s ear. “I need to feel you inside me.

Lena clawed at Paul’s belt and tried to pull his cock out of his pants.

“Get it out, baby,” Lena said as she continued to ride Paul. “I want you to fuck me. I’m giving you what you’ve been waiting for all night!”

“Lena!” Luca said as he pushed Katy back onto the couch and held her down. “Get off of him!”

“Get the fuck off my husband, you whore!” Katy said.

Katy got away from Luca and grabbed a glass off the table. She jumped up and got ready to throw it at the back of Lena’s head. Luca jumped in front of Katy and reared b
ack and elbowed her in the nose. The cartilage collapsed and blood sprayed everywhere.

Katy held her hand over her face and blood gushed between her fingers. Paul stared at them both in disbelief as Lena slammed up and down on his lap and begged him to fuck her.

“Lena, stop!” Paul said as Katy wailed on the couch. “Katy’s been hurt. I need to go to her. I don’t even want to do this anymore. We have to leave.”

Luca ran up behind Lena and pulled her off Paul by her hair.

“You stupid fucking bitch!” Luca said as he held Lena off the floor by her arms.

Luca suspended Lena in the air and shook her like a rag doll as he screamed at her.

“You’re so desperate to be fucked that you sabotage this night, is that right?” Luca said in Lena’s face. “That’s what you’ll get!”

Luca ran with Lena and slammed her back into the mirrored wall in the suite. Glass rained down on them and Lena slumped to the ground. Paul Kirschner jumped off the couch and ran over to Luca and Lena.

“Holy shit, I think you fucking killed her!” Paul said as he stared down at Lena’s body.

“Not yet,” Luca said as he picked a shard of glass out of his hand and threw it on the floor.

Paul backed away from Luca toward Katy.

“Oh, come on, Paul, you wanted to fuck her too. Get into the spirit of things! Me first though. She is my wife, after all.”

Paul sat down on the couch next to Katy and bowed his head.

“I think we’re fucked over here, Katy. This guy is off his rocker.”

Katy bowed her head too, but the blood came faster and she was forced to lift her head and look at Luca.

Luca ripped his shirt off his chest and Paul Kirschner gasped. Luca was covered in tattoos.

“Don’t worry, Paul, they’re not prison tats, but I am pretty evil,” Luca said and unbuckled his belt and ripped it through the loops of his trousers.

“You need to check on your wife, buddy. She hasn’t moved,” Paul said.

Luca pushed his pants down his legs and stood in front of Katy in nothing but his black boxer briefs. He patted Katy on the back of the head and smiled at her.

“Not doing so well, are you? That nose probably would have held up a little better against that blow had you not done so much blow, no?” Luca said and laughed. “I do amuse myself.”

“Look, Luca,” Paul said and stood from the couch, “this stuff is way out of control. Katy and I are going to bow out. I can’t be around this.”

“Oh, bow out? I see,” Luca said and backed toward the entertainment center.

“It’s nothing personal, okay. We had a lot of fun, but I think I need to get Katy to a doctor and she’s bleeding out all over the white carpet. I don’t want to cause you guys any problems.”

Luca stood against the entertainment cabinet and lit a cigarette. He looked at Paul Kirschner and smiled.

“You don’t want to cause us any…problems?” Luca said and took a drag on the cigarette. “Well, that’s very nice of you, Paul.”

“Thank you. Plus, I think you need to take care of Lena. She hasn’t moved in a really long time,” Paul said as he looked over at Lena’s body and shook his head.

“You’re concerned about Lena?” Luca said and opened the drawer to the cabinet. “What is it that concerns you?”

  “What?”

“What is it that concerns you about Lena all of a sudden? I mean, moments ago you were spouting off about how you couldn’t wait to, what did you say, tax her ass? Now, you’re acting as if you’re a concerned father.”

  “No, I’m—”

  “Concerned? Right, I get that.”

“Okay, well you take care of your wife and I’ll take care of mine,” Paul said.

Paul grabbed Katy by her arm and pulled her up from the couch. He looked around the table and grabbed her purse.

“Just walk as fast as you can,” Paul said to Katy under his breath as they started toward the door.

“No, please don’t go!” Luca said from behind them.

“Keep walking,” Paul said. “We’re almost there.”

The music in the room stopped and Katy hesitated for a moment.

“Keep moving!” Paul said and dragged her toward the door.

“I said don’t go!” Luca said. “As in, if you assholes take another step I will shoot you both in the back of your self-absorbed fucking heads. Now, stop and turn the fuck around!”

Paul and Katy froze in the kitchen of the suite. Paul looked into the mirrored backsplash over the kitchen sink and saw Luca standing behind them pointing a revolver at the back of their heads.

“Fuck,” he said and hung his head.

“Yes, that’s right, as in you are fucked. Now, come back and sit down on the sofa.”

“What’s going on?” Katy mumbled through her hand as she elbowed Paul in the arm.

  “He has a fucking gun.”

Katy turned around and faced Luca. She shook her head and put her hands in the air.

“Please…” Katy said and started to cry.

“Your husband was right,” Luca said and walked toward Katy, “you are a mess. All that blood. Your eyes are black now too. I’ve never seen anything like it. It collapsed. It actually looks like your face ate your nose. Amazing.”

Paul stared at the door and knew if he didn’t have Katy holding him back, he’d make it as long as Luca shot Katy first.

“Don’t even think about it, buddy,” Luca said. “Do you think I’m that much of an animal? I would never shoot a lady first.”

Paul started to shake and felt as if he was going to pass out.

“It’s okay,” Luca said and put his hand on Paul’s shoulder. “I’d want to get out of here too if I was you. But, I’m not, obviously, so I will just invite you and your wife to come and sit back down on the couch. Okay, buddy?”

Paul nodded and bowed his head. He grabbed Katy’s arm and they followed Luca back to the couch.

“What are you going to do with us?” Katy said as she sat down. “It’s not like we’re going to tell anyone we were here. Just let us go, please?”

“Why wouldn’t I want you to tell anyone you were here? On the contrary, I want you to tell everyone about this night,” Luca said as he pointed the gun at her.

“Okay, fine. We’ll tell everyone. Whatever you say,” Paul said and sat back on the couch.

“You’re so malleable, Paul,” Luca said and trained the gun on him. “What’s that like? To have no conviction, to.go wherever the wind takes that twisted mind of yours? How does it feel to have no allegiance to anything or anyone?”

“That’s not true and I take exception to you saying that!” Paul said. “I fight every day for good. I have allegiance. Fuck you for saying I don’t!”

Luca ran toward Paul and jumped over the table. Katy screamed as Luca landed on top of Paul and held the revolver to his temple.

“Paul!” Katy said as she cried.

“Fuck me, is that what you said? Fuck me? Or is that another one of your expressions?”

  “I-I…”

“You have no idea what it means to fight for anything! The only thing you fight for is what you think will line your pockets so you can pay for your little girls, you psychopathic capitalist pig!”

“What did you say?” Paul said as tears streamed down his face.

“You heard what I said. That’s right,” Luca said and winked.

“Look, buddy, I didn’t know, okay? They’re all above the age of consent. If it was your sister…daughter…I’m not sure, that’s not on me. Sometimes things slip through the cracks!”

  “Paul!” Katy screamed.

Luca turned to Katy and laughed.

“Is that you being shocked? Please, you know. You’ve known all along and are just as bad as he!”

  “No, no…I didn’t. I don’t know…”

“What I’m talking about?” Luca said.

Katy hung her head and cried.

  “Okay,
I get it now,” Paul said. “This is a revenge thing. I’m sorry. It won’t ever happen again, okay? I’m sorry.”

“And the children? What about them? What will your apology do for them?”

“Money, okay. How much? Whatever you want.”

“Does it look like I want to start a non-profit for the fucking whores you abused?” Luca said and slammed the butt of the revolver into Paul’s knee.

Paul screamed and Katy grabbed his arm. He sobbed as the pain from Luca’s blow crawled up his leg and hit every nerve receptor in his body.

“I will do anything you want!” Paul said. “I will get help. It’s a problem…a disease.”

“Your problem is pedophilia. You are the disease.”

  “Yes, yes you are right.”

“I know I am,” Luca said and got off of Paul and sat down on the coffee table in front of him. “So, what are we going to do about it?”

“I-I think we can work out some—”

“Excuse me, Luca?” Katy said and raised her hand.

  “Yes?” Luca said and smiled.

“Well, it seems to me your problem is with Paul. I did not do those things. In fact, I never even cheated on Paul. I’ve been a good wife and a good, loving person all my life. Your issue is with Paul, not with me. Please let me go.”

  “Katy!” Paul said.

Luca tucked the revolver under his arm and clapped.

“Bravo!” he said as he lit another cigarette. “Did you hear this Paul? Little Katy found her voice. Good for you!”

“Thank you, it’s true. Now, I need to get to the hospital,” Katy said and stood from the couch. “Paul, I am sorry, but you brought this on yourself.”

“Katy?” Luca said as Katy walked past him and Paul.

Katy stopped and glanced at Lena who had not moved in quite some time. She said a silent prayer and walked toward the kitchen.

“Um, Katy?” Luca said. “Turn around.”

Katy turned around slowly and faced Luca. He stood from the table and pointed the revolver at her.

“What?” she said as she raised her arms over her head. “I thought this was all settled!”

“Did I say you could go?”

“I’ve got nothing to do with this! Just because I’m married to him does not make me guilty of his crimes. Believe me, if I knew what was going on behind my back, I would have called the police. I am the victim here!”
