  2 month later

  I t's been two months since Dimitri and I got married paper wise, and it's been a mess. Dimitri and I are excellent at night. He is sweet and caring, but during the day, he can be very distant, so I have been hanging with Ivan. I haven't been feeling the best, either. I feel like I'm going to puck all the time, and I get dizzy, but I have yet to tell him because he is so stressed.

  Everything has gotten worse with the mafia. I'm sitting with Ivan watching a movie. I think I know what's wrong with me, but I don't know what to do. I missed my period, and everything else fit, of course, I need a test.   He tied my hands and legs to throw me over his shoulder. The minute they did, I knew it was Luka that betrayed Dimitri, but why. They kept my mouth shut, but I was able to get it off, making me scream, "DIMITRI!"

  Fredek said fuck, and they quickly left with me. They put me in the back of an SUV while the men climbed front. Fredek got beside me and said, "Go."

  I heard Dimitri scream as we left. Fredek looked at me and growled, "I will let that go but do that again, and you will regret it."

  I shook my head and watched as we drive through the wood. Everything was quiet until cars came up behind us fast. Fredek looked at me and said, "Where is the tracker?"

  What. I cocked my head and said, "What do you mean tracker?"

  He went to grab me, but I said: "I would tell you if I had, I promise."

  "Why?"

  I was quite making him grab my hair. I grabbed his hand and yelled, "I am pregnant."

ith it. The car was mangled, but the one door was still able to be open, or I hope so. When I went to open it, the door would not budge.

  Someone grabs my leg, making me see one of his men still alive. I still had the knife, so I stabbed him right in the face. Everything hurts right now, and I need to get out of this SUV. I turned, so my feet were towards the door. I kicked three times, but it only budges an inch, and I'm losing my strength, but I need out if here.

  I kicked one last time with everything I had, and to my luck, it opened, but now I can barely move from the pain. I managed to crawl out of the car to see three vehicles pulling up. The headlights where blinding making me cover my eyes. I saw two of the vehicles shut off, and men get out too.

  To my relief, it was Dimitri, Ivan, Adrian, and Sergei. Dimitri ran over to me and said: "Are you OK, Luna?"

  "I will get you home."

  No, I need a hospital to check on the baby. I heard the door open as Sergei said: "Why did you betray us, Luka?"

  He didn't say anything making Dimitri say, "Take him to the cell while I take her home."

  I still don't know Russian, but I don't care. I tried to talk, but my throat is so dry, making him say, "Let me go get the doctor and some water.

  I just smiled and watched as he poked his head. The doctor came in with some water making Dimitri helped me sit up and drink. Once I was done, he gently laid me back down as the doctor said, "You are fortunate women, Mrs. Marco, you came out with minor cuts and bruises. A bad concussion, but that has passed already."

  How. How long have I been out, and how is the baby? I sat up as I touched my stomach and said: "Wait, what about the baby."

  Dimitri touched my stomach as the doctor said: "The baby is fine."

  I took a deep breath as I laid back down. Dimitri kissed my forehead as the doctor said: "I'm going to take your vitals, and as long as you are stable for the next two days, you can go home, but you will be on bed rest."

  I rolled my eye and smiled. The doctor took my vitals as the nurse drew some blood to do the test.   He is right. Sleep will help. I shook my head as I closed my eyes not to wake till tomorrow.

  Chapter 12

  I t's been two today, and the doctor is finally letting me out so I can go home. Dimitri hasn't left my side, and if he does, one of the guys takes his place. It is sweet but very annoying, and of course, I need to be on bed rest for a week once I get home. Dimitri went to speak with the doctor while I was getting up without permission, but whatever.

  God, my body still hurts, but this hospital bed is not helping that at all. The door opens to reveal Dimitri, who ran up to me and said: "Get your butt back in bed."

  I shook my head, no. He sighed, "Please."

  "I want to go home."

  "Fine, the doctor said you are fine to go. We need to sign a form once they get it ready."
