Finn took the invitation from me, our only wedding invitation, and carefully read it.
“It’s tomorrow,” he said, a mixture of shock and surprise in his voice.
“It is. You free?” I asked, eyebrows raised, waiting for his response.
“But babe, I don’t have anything to wear,” Finn joked, but I knew he was somewhat serious.
“Don’t worry about that. In fact, Vince has you all taken care of. He should be here any minute to pick you up for a little bachelor party fun and then I’ll see you tomorrow evening.”
I waited to see how Finn would react. Had I gone too far by keeping everything a secret from him?
Finn picked me up and spun me around my now empty kitchen. “I love you, boss babe,” he said, giving me a kiss to end all kisses. I guess that answered that.
Our wedding cruise took off from the marina. The same place where I had first laid eyes on my shirtless hottie and decided he was a man that I had to meet. It was also where we had our first date and found our first dead body. I’m not sure if that was a point in its favor or not.

Aria nailed everything, from the bite-sized tuxedo cupcakes, to the lobster toasts and grilled oysters as hors d’oeuvres, and bottles of rosé chilling on ice. Of course, she also had a separate ice chest full of Coca-Cola for Finn, but not just the usual cans; these were the classic glass bottles that no one could resist. The star of the dessert table was our wedding cake, courtesy of none other than Mrs. J. You know how much I loved her world-famous chocolate cake. I would’ve been content with just a thick slice of that.
Our wedding might have been low country, but it wasn’t low style. My look was flawless, Finn’s handsome, and with the addition of our closest family and friends, my heart was full.
Now if only I could do something about always finding dead bodies...

About the Author
I'm a mystery author with a soft spot for romance and humor, too. I love all things girlie with a dollop of danger, have a strong affinity for the color pink (especially in diamonds and champagne), and, not to brag, but chocolate and I are in a pretty serious relationship. My books feature fearless females, a little bit of love, a few laughs, and a whole lot of whodunit. I hope my stories keep you guessing and laughing all the way until the end.
