Her Designer Baby: (Loving Over 40 Book 1)

She explained to me about the commercial and how the whole entire shoot that day was a big mess. I told her about the one time I had ever be on television for anything and it was when I was five years old.
I used to do gymnastics and our local competition aired on the public access channel. I told her about how I was so shy and could barely accept my award because of the cameras, and my mother had to forcibly pull me from behind my coach to step forward.
“Then tell me how you ended up becoming a surgeon and not a gymnast,” she asked.
“Well, when I was in high school I had a bad injury. I went to land a particularly difficult move and landed so wrong I broke my femur in two places.”
“Ouch,” she grimaced. “And that was that?”
“Yes, ma’am. It’s funny how I’m not a big fan of pain or blood and guts, but yet I chose surgery,” I chuckled. Malaysia did too.
“Yeah, that is pretty funny,” she huffed as she sat up on the equipment. She had removed her hoodie before getting started, to reveal a bright pink workout tank that fit just right over her curvy breasts. I had never been so glad to have another person working out beside me as I was that morning.
“Can I ask you something, Malaysia,” I said apprehensively.
“Sure,” she answered.
I cleared my throat and looked away for a moment. “How old are you?”
Rather than be offended she started laughing. It seems she gets asked that often.
“I’m 41, Daniel,” she giggled, then took a sip of the bottled water she had brought with her.
Part of me was surprised because nothing about her said she was even a day over 30, but also relieved in a way.
I was in my late forties and never considered dating anyone considerably younger than me but was wondering had I made that exception with Malaysia.
“How old are you,” she asked.
“Forty-eight.”
“Really? You wear it well, that’s for damn sure,” she laughed.
“The same could be said for you,” I chuckled.
We had found ourselves barely working out anymore at all and just sitting there talking. I finally got up from the equipment I’d been sitting at and offered my hand to help Malaysia up from hers.
She didn’t likely need my help but she graciously accepted the gesture. As she stood we were nearly chest to chest. Even our height difference was appealing for me. She wasn’t as tall as me but not so small that I had to hunch over if I got brave enough to kiss her.
Right then I thought I was brave enough to do just that. I looked down into her dark brown eyes and she looked as if she had read my mind and her eyes looked to my lips.
I leaned down and felt her slightly lift up on her tip toes. I leaned a bit lower so her feet settled and our lips locked. No dream I had or could ever have would do a kiss with her justice.
It was ten times sweeter and softer than I could have ever dreamt of in my life. I’ve had many kisses from many women. But it was in the velvet feel of her lips. It was the tenderness with which she met my kiss.
Her kiss was many smalls kisses, each tinged with a tease and a taste. Then, she gave me the full coup de grace of her round soft mouth and I felt my whole lower body quiver. Dreams can never replicate that.
I found my hands wrapped around her waist and pulling her closer to me until her hips were nestled right against my groin. I wanted her to feel how she had made me feel since the first day I saw her and especially that Wednesday.
To my surprise, she welcomed the closeness; the intimacy. I felt her hands grip the front of my shirt at my chest and our kisses grew into a wild tasting contest of passion. I couldn’t have given a care if any one of my neighbors walked into the gym right then. I had been wanting this since the first house showing and I didn’t want to wait until the next.
I let my hands glide down to those tight gym pants and gave her backside a caress then a full on squeeze. I felt my erection grow at lightning speed. I wanted her right there on one of those workout benches or right there in one of the community showers in the back.
I broke our kiss long enough to whisper in her ear, “Do you want to come to my apartment, Malaysia?”
This was the dumbest thing I could have said. What was I thinking? I felt her body language soften and then come to a frozen stop. She let out a short breath, then looked up at me.
Although her demeanor was letting me know that was the wrong set of words to throw out there, she still gave me a small smile and released my shirt from her grip.
“Um… no. We… we got really into that for a minute, didn’t we,” she said. I could tell by her voice she was equally surprised at her own actions and maybe even a little embarrassed.
When she went to wipe her bangs from her forehead with her hand I caught her eyes glancing down toward the front of my pants and quickly look away.
I’d lie if I said I wasn’t frustrated in more than one way. I tried to shift a little to not make my hard on as obvious, but it was way too late for that.
“We did just jump overboard there,” I said as I fidgeted with my hands, trying to pull the bottom of my shirt down a bit lower. I wanted to grab her close one more time but the longer we stood there the stranger it got.
Surprisingly, she walked up to me and stood her tip toes again. This time she planted a small kiss just the left of my mouth below my cheek and then smiled.
“Let’s meet up later in the week. Maybe, give ourselves a chance to cool down a little,” she giggled.
I couldn’t complain. The fact she wasn’t making me feel any more awkward was a plus, and offering another chance for us to be adults rather than a bunch of horny teens was even better.
“I’d like that a whole lot,” I nodded. “After all you still have to show me just the right home, remember?’
“Oh right,” she exclaimed. “Well, what about Tuesday or Wednesday? I have just the right place to show you. I think you’ll like it.”
She was still standing close enough for me to steal a kiss but I put it out my mind and simply agreed we could meet on Wednesday. It was going to be my last free day this week.
I walked her to her car and luckily my jogging pants weren’t as strained as they were just moments before. As she opened the door I leaned across the edge of it and looked down at her in the seat. I wanted her to stay. I didn’t want to move as fast as we did but I couldn’t deny how much I wanted to jump right into every kind of wrong with her.
“So, Wednesday, at the coffee shop,” I confirmed.
“Yep. The one just a door or two down from the agency,” she had said.
“Two o’clock?”
“Two o’clock on the dot,” she said cheerfully.
I gently shut her door and watched as she drove off.
I jogged back to my place faster than I had in the five years I’d lived in that complex. I unlocked the door, almost slammed it behind me and speed walked to my master bedroom. I must have stripped off everything before I was even in the bathroom.
The water couldn’t have been hotter. I just stood under the water and closed my eyes and tried to do the impossible: wash the desire away along with the embarrassment.
I had gotten too use to offering a woman to come back to my place knowing it was going to be a definite yes and instead she put her boundary in place. I liked it, though. As forward as she was a week ago I didn’t want her to just be another sexy conquest. I wanted her to be worth the wait. All the best things in my life had been just that.
I stood there under the water until there was no hot water left and then lathered up and rinsed off. I looked in the mirror after I hopped out and just shook my head.
Don’t do that again, old man. She’s not that kind. Far from it.
My little pep talk definitely put things in perspective. I soon found myself on the couch again flipping through channels but periodically looking over at my phone. Again, I felt like I was back in grade school waiting for a love letter reply from my sweetheart.<

An hour passed. Then, two. I had dozed off around four hours after being out of the shower when my phone received a text. I heard the notification ring, but I chose to ignore it. Then, there was another.
I lifted my head off the couch and squinted in the phone’s direction on the coffee table. If it was Shepherd or anyone else, they would have sent one message and waited for a reply.
I picked up the phone and was happy to see it was Malaysia. I swiped the screen to unlock it and see just what she had said.
“I’m now wishing I had taken you up on your invitation.”
Those words made my whole night. I messaged her back:
“Next time. ;) "
She sent me back a kiss emoticon with another wish of sweet dreams.
Wednesday. Waiting on Wednesday.

I didn’t want to go into all the delicious details that Michele had been grilling me about since last Friday. I simply wanted to get my stuff together for my one-person open house event with Daniel and she was cutting me off at every other turn in the office.
“I’m not asking for you to give me a play-by-play of the conversation but just a run of the mill ‘he was nice’ or ‘it went well’! Why’s that so hard?” Michele teased.
“Because I’m meeting him right now and I’ve been planning this since Sunday. I promise when I get a chance I will catch you up to speed.”
That wasn’t entirely true. I really didn’t want to tell her much of anything because it’s wasn’t typical for an agent to be seeing a buyer and so far, I had seen a whole lot of Daniel in just a week.
I had spoken to him on Monday just to confirm that we were meeting at the coffee shop, not the location. At least not at first. That much I had told Michele, and this just brought more questions.
“Why did you two agree on that and when?” she asked.
“Sunday, like I said.”
“But why?” She let out a sudden excited gasp. “Is that a second date? That means the first one must have gone really well!”
I rolled my eyes and skirted around her with my work portfolio in hand and my purse on my arm. She yelled one last thing while I was on my way out.
“Well, at least call me if you do or don’t finally get him to buy! If you’re going to use your charms, put ‘em to good use,” she teased.
I walked two doors down to Rinky Dink Drink and saw Daniel sitting at a single table near the front picture window. He saw me and smiled as I made my way around and inside.
As I entered he stood and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. I hadn’t forgotten about how things went between us on Sunday, but I wasn’t going to hold that against him. I had played my own role in letting things get wild and out. I also admitted that I wish I had actually gone back with him to his place and was ashamed to say so.
I took a seat across from Daniel and jumped right into opening up my portfolio and showing him what I felt was his next potential residence.
“It meets all the specifications you requested including the access to restaurants and nightlife not too far aw— “
“I’m buying the house you showed me on Thursday,” he suddenly said. “That’s if it’s still available.”
I looked at him stunned. “Well, yeah it is. Really, Daniel?”
“I mean if you think it’s a bad idea— “.
“No,” I interrupted. “No! It’s perfect. That’s the reason I showed it to you.”
I had a huge smile on my face and was so excited he chose that home. It was a much better fit than the one I had wanted to show him that afternoon. I sat back in my seat in relief, while he leaned forward and gave me big toothy grin.
“That means this can be date two and we can just relax,” he said.
“Definitely! Well,” I said, “technically this is date three.”
I didn’t want to remind me or him of Sunday, but it was kind of unavoidable. I was looking at a very different man than the one I had met just a week ago. He was still sexy as ever but in just a few days I had seen his more sentimental side when he talked about parenthood and even his own childhood. And most definitely I had seen his more lustful side.
I couldn’t say I didn’t like all of what I had seen so far and wouldn’t mind seeing more.
I ordered a small cappuccino while Daniel had just a café latte. I was hoping we could have more free time. Our schedules were so different with my weekends being free and his often being busy with either paperwork or actual procedures. This past Sunday was some kind of fluke, but one I was thankful for, and apparently, he was too.
“On Sunday,” he quietly said, “did you mean what you sent me later that night?’
I was a little taken aback. I wasn’t expecting him to come right out with it, but then again from what I had come to know of him he was pretty straightforward.
“I did,” was my only response.
“So, why didn’t you come back to my apartment with me?’
I took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.
“Truthfully, I’m pretty sure women probably take you up on that offer when you throw it out there. I kind of gathered you’re upfront when you want what you want.”
The look on his face was soft and sincere but telling. I had pinned him just right.
He slowly nodded his head, “Yeeeah. It’s happened a few times in the past.”
I quickly spoke up, “I didn’t want you to look at me like that. I didn’t want it that way.”
He raised his eyebrows a bit then sat back in his seat.
“How exactly did you want it, then?”
This was his flirty stance. I had figured that much out. He seemed to have figured out I do like playing as long as we both agree on the rules. I wrapped my hands around my warm mug of cappuccino and leaned forward so I could talk a little lower.
“Are you really asking me to tell you?”
“Yes,” he said with a straight but daring expression.
I looked him the eyes for a moment and screwed up my lips in a half smile. I wasn't going to back down from his curious eyes. I kept my sight locked on his baby blues and proceeded to tell him exactly what I had envisioned.
“Since Sunday, I have thought to myself ‘what if on this next open house, we just go at it right there on the floor as soon as we step inside’.”
Daniel suddenly blinked in surprise. If we would have been in a staring contest, I just won hands down. But I didn’t stop talking.
“Then I thought, what if I gave it to you so damn good you actually bought the house we were in, right then and there?”
I let all my intention spill slowly from the words I was speaking and did not once cut my eyes from his.
His surprised expression soon melted into one of approval and he leaned forward slowly. “Well, I’m sorry I spoiled your fantasy by telling you ahead of time I’m already buying.”
I gave him a sneaky grin. “I still have the keys to that house in this portfolio, in the side pocket. I still have to unlock it and… welcome you to the neighborhood.”
Daniel’s lips parted slightly. He blinked once. Then, twice. And then suggested we pay and go take a look at his next home.
* * *
I fumbled hurriedly with the keys while Daniel was feeling underneath my cotton blouse. There was an added excitement from the fact it was broad daylight and to any neighbors who might see us, we probably looked like a couple of horny newlyweds trying to get into that bungalow.
Just as Daniel’s fingers began playing with my nipples through the lacy fabric of my bra under my blouse I unlocked the door and swung it open.
We nearly fell into the small entranceway of the bungalow. It was still a decent size foyer but nothing like the size of the one in the Hidden Hills mansion. There was a half table staged up against one of the walls and I found myself nearly sitting on it as Daniel swooped my blouse up and over my head.
I was so glad I had chosen to wear that particular bra with its thin lace cups. My dark brown nipples were n
early jutting out they were so starved for more of his touch. He did even better and leaned down and began licking and kissing my left nipple through the fabric.
I let out a soft moan as I felt my pussy ache through my jeans. I had been holding this back since Sunday. I let my hands brush through his blonde hair as his lips took their fill of both my breasts one at a time. He began to kiss his way up my chest and to my neck while his hands squeezed the top of my thighs.
After his mouth kissed and danced its way up to my own I quickly began to undo my jeans. He stopped kissing just long enough to grab his own tee shirt and remove even faster than he had mine. There we were nearly bare-chested up against each other, but it wasn’t enough.
