The Thousand Years War: The Trilogy

  Angel goes and grabs Maria for a hug. Then he begins to kiss her in the lips, while it was good at first for her. However she can’t get over the confusing situation and continues to wonder what in the hell is going on. After five minutes Maria feels a strong spiritual presence, but it was an evil presence. She tries to grab him to run away from the park, but a ghost pops out of the ground of Maria’s dead brother in a grim reaper robe and is armed with a scythe.

  “Oh my god we gotta get out of here! Come on Angel!” Maria screams towards Angel, who refuses to move.

  “Why Maria we can have a nice beautiful death together! Come on Maria, don’t be like that.” Angel says still in his kind-hearted tone.

  The grim reaper ghost prepares to slash Angel’s head, until Maria is able to push him out of the way. She then closes her eyes and focuses her spiritual energy towards the ghost and shoots a spirit beam which destroys the evil ghost. After that her conscience is brought back to the ship indicating that it was a mind trap that she is able to beat. She would use her spiritual energy to sense where the white hole is located.

  Angel stares at the black in front of him once he regains his conscience. He tries to make a U-turn with the ship, but the force within boundary line where he was located was too strong. The boosters on Angel’s ship are disabled and even steering is disabled.

  “Oh man if this is what hell looks like then I’m in some serious trouble. I’m running out of air…” Angel begins to pass out as he travels deeper into the unknown black area.

  That is until an unknown force comes and pushes Angel out of the abyss and back on track. When Angel opens his eyes again he sees the spirits of both his dead brother and father. At first he is completely shocked as he thought he would never get to see them again, but realizes that he is a medium giving him the ability to talk with spirits.

  “Don’t ever give up my son!” Angel’s father says.

  “That’s right bro; we’re with you in spirit even though we may not be alive in the corporal world.” The spirit of Angel’s brother says.

  “How do I get out of here, I seriously don’t know where I am!” Angel screams in agony.

  “Relax my son just follow us and make sure your wife follows as well. We’ll lead you out of here. Everything you are seeing here is an illusion of your mind. This is all just open dead space.” Angel’s father says calmly.

  “In other words don’t let these “paper airplanes” or other strange objects affect your mind. There are no paper airplanes. It’s all in your mind. The diluted vision you are suffering is there because there is a strong spiritual presence that is very strong, almost God like. It’s not working for the evil one though.” Angel’s brother adds to what Angel’s father said before.

  “Is it that bird that we tried to avoid hitting?” Angel asks the two spirits.

  Angel receives no answer from any of the spirits; the two only give Angel a smile from both spirits. He assumes that means he is correct and that actions would speak louder than words. Angel is led to Maria’s location and he would scream Maria’s name.

  “Maria! Maria!”

  “Baby is that you?”

  “Yes it’s me honey, follow me I think I found the way out of hear!”

  “I’m right with you Angel. I had this weird flashback just now. We’ll talk about it later.”

  Angel follows the spirits of his father and brother, while Maria follows behind him. She is unable to see the spirits of Angel’s father, but decides to follow him anyway. The two finally get on the right track and the while their surroundings are still diluted, but not nearly as bad as before. Despite the diluted background the rest of the ride until the white hole is uneventful, proving that everything the two of them are seeing are just illusions. Then they reach the white hole which was still open wide, however the same bird that the two had try to run away from reappears blocking the white hole.

  “There goes that white bird again looks like this is the spirit that we need to take out.” Angel says confidently.

  “Well no use running away now, either we take this phoenix out or we’re stuck in the Milky Way for good!” Maria follows.

  The bird begins to shoot energy balls at the two, but the two are able to dodge the attacks. After that they begin to shoot at the bird, they notice something though. That something was none of their shots had any effects on the phoenix or in some cases were not even hitting the bird. Angel tries using a smart bomb and the phoenix was still standing there.

  The phoenix begins to attack the two once again, but it uses its wings to try and suck them into a black hole that it creates. The two pump the brakes as hard as they can to prevent themselves from being sucked in by the bird. However the spirits of Angel’s father and brother are sucked in.

  Angel is in disbelief when he sees his father and brother being sucked in. Then he hears the voice of his father saying “Never give up, trust what your heart says.”

  “Maria wait this bird is not corporal or in other words we’re not going to be able to shoot it down with our ships. We’re going to have to use other means to take this bird down to its final runway.” Angel explains that the bird is spiritual in nature and not a physical object.

  “What are you suggesting then?” Maria asks Angel puzzled.

  “I’m suggesting that we have to drive into the bird and defeat it on the inside.”

  “Are you serious Angel, I’ve heard some really crazy things lately. However, crashing into a bird is gotta be the dumbest thing we can possibly do!” Maria replies angrily.

  “Well it may sound “dumb” to you but we don’t have any other choice. That is unless you want to keep shooting a non-physical object in space for the rest of your life. Don’t worry sweetheart we’re mediums, which means we’re built for this kind of mission. Now come my loyal and beautiful wife let's go in!” Angel begins to drive his ship right for the bird.

  “Well fine if you’re going with me, let’s do it. I’m happy to have such a brave man like you.” Maria follows Angel at full speed.

  The two drive their ships right towards the bird’s heart and they enter a new dimension known as the dimension of “lost spirits”. A voice tells them to get together and combine their energy to shoot off a powerful spirit bomb. The two touch wings and go into a deep trance for a minute or so. During the trance a ball was being made and after 5 minutes the spirit bomb explodes. After the explosion the two see a whole horde of lost spirits that were once trapped inside the bird being released into space. Amongst them were the spirits of Angel’s father and brother.

  “I’m so proud of the man you have become my son.” Angel’s father says kindly.

  “I’m glad my little bro is strong and is a hero to everyone!” Angel’s brother follows up.

  “Thank you both, I promise that I won’t let you down.” Angel says in response to the two of them.

  “Angel who are you talking to?” Maria asks Angel.

  “No worries babe, I’m just talking to the friendly spirits of my dead father and brother. I know you can’t see them but they’re okay with you being with me.” Angel calms Maria’s nerves and reassures her that the love is destined to stay alive forever.

  Then the spirits decide to show themselves to Maria saying, “Maria as the wife of Angel we declare you worthy of seeing us with your own eyes. We know that you will lead Angel the correct way and he will lead you correctly as well.”

  “Thank you so much you two, I promise that I will continue to learn as much about being a medium so me and my husband can defeat this evil. I’m proud to be the wife of this intelligent, kind and most importantly protective young man. Nothing will stand in the way of us, I can promise you that!” Maria cries tears of joy when she finally gets to see who Angel was communicating with earlier only to find out that she is to their satisfaction.

  “We have to go now before this hole closes up and we’ll be stuck here. As much as I want to be with you, it isn’t time for me yet. However when i
t does become my time to arrive I will make sure all evil is dead. Let’s go my dear wife.” Angel says in an emotional but strong tone.

  Angel and Maria fly into the white hole as they begin to head back to the solar system as their journey continues towards Mercury.

  Chapter 18

  Galaxy X

  After the paranormal experience of a lifetime Angel and Maria are back in the solar system on their way to Mercury. Meanwhile Luis and Dayvon coming from Pluto are making their way to Mercury as well. After a relatively uneventful ride towards the borderline of middle space and outer space, the four of them reunite. Each of them happy as the other when they find each other, they see Mercury on the horizon. However, they bump into a glooba space base being constructed in the middle of Galaxy X another one of the hidden galaxies that Quentin had warned them about. With no communication to Quentin and the path to Mercury blocked by the enemy in Galaxy X, the four of them head on to take on the gloobas.

  “I’m glad we’re all back together!” Maria says in excitement.

  “Don’t get too excited the enemy is up ahead!” Luis screams.

  “Enemy base up ahead, it’s time to show these reptiles that we run the show here!” Dayvon says in great emotion.

  “Don’t worry pops, I won’t let you down. I know what my mission is now, to avenge your death.” Angel says in his mind.

  The four begin their journey in Galaxy X which is actually one of the more unknown galaxies with Galaxy Z being the least known. They enter the hyperspace of Galaxy X where multiple enemy ships spawn and attack the four. A battleship also appears in front of the four, it begins to shoot homing missiles at the four. While Dayvon, Luis and Maria all fly away trying to dodge the missiles, Angel decides to just shoot the missile heading in his direction.

  “Hey everyone no need to run, you can shoot the missile chasing you.” Angel warns his fellow mates.

  Luis and Dayvon are able to turn around in time and shoot the missiles that were aiming for them. Maria on the other hand is unable to gain any distance between her and the missile.

  “Somebody get this missile off my back, I can’t shake it away from me!” Maria screams in agony.

  “Relax honey I’ll shoot that missile off your back.” Angel says in confidence.

  Angel shoots the missile off Maria’s back and she is relieved. After that the four team up and take down the battleship that was shooting the missiles. After that they approach the entrance of the space base they see many black balls in there way. Dayvon notices something funny, he shoots one of the balls and it explodes.

  “Watch out space mines ahead! Shoot them down.” Dayvon screams to the others.

  Everyone shoots the mines ahead and enter the space base. Once they are inside the floor below flips and alien turrets begin to shoot lasers towards the four. The crew shoots the turrets down as they go deeper into the base. Several salamander troopers try to intercept the four from defense towers, but Luis uses a smart bomb to destroy the towers and any nearby glooba ships. As the four keep going deeper into the base, it becomes clear that the base is still under construction. Several space vessels used to build the base remain unmanned and the beams along with walls are just floating in space. This presents a clear and present danger to the four. They have to maneuver their ships carefully to avoid hitting the debris that was around.

  “This base is clearly under construction still. I see a lot of materials just loose here.” Dayvon says what he observes.

  “If it isn’t captain obvious, I think we need to worry more about making sure that we don’t hit anything or bye-bye ship!” Angel cuts Dayvon off abruptly.

  “Whoa! Calm down there brother. Whoa…” Dayvon veers his ship to the right as he almost hits a beam, which is loose in space.

  “Now Dayvon I think it's time to take my orders seriously, right?” Angel asks Dayvon sarcastically.

  Dayvon keeps silent as the four fly carefully around the debris. Then bee-like robot’s approach the four and begin to attack with an expanding energy attack, which are balls of energy that expand as they move towards the target. Angel and Maria take on one, while Dayvon and Luis take on the other one.

  Angel and Maria are able to dodge the energy balls by recognizing their patterns. As the balls expand the two approach the bee and begin to unload destroying it.

  Luis and Dayvon opt to keep as far away from the bee-bot as it uses its attack and the attack doesn’t reach either of them. After the botched attack Luis and Dayvon capitalize by catching the bee when it’s open to attack and they are able to destroy it.

  After being attacked by bees the four head towards a door that explodes by itself and opens. What pops out of it has the four in shock. It is a robotic arm all by its lonesome.

  “What the hell is that?” Maria asks in shock.

  “Something isn’t right here, where did that arm come from?” Luis asks in shock as well.

  “Well whatever it is it can’t be good news! We need to just get the heck out of here and go to Mercury!” Maria says in a worrisome tone.

  “Just be cool guys, as long as we work together we’ll be good!” Angel says trying to calm everyone down.

  The four continue on and shoot down more enemy ships. They also negotiate more debris and deal with more bee-bots. Out of nowhere a black hole pops up to the right and the pulling force begins to suck in the debris and the crew members. The four of them use their super boosters to fight against the pulling force of the black hole. Angel notices that barrel rolling the ship causes the ship to counter the force of the black hole.

  “Do a barrel roll everyone!” Angel screams out to the others.

  Everyone follows Angel’s lead until they get within a safe distance away from the black hole and then the hole disappears. After that the four get to a crossroad, which they have no idea whether to go left or right. The choice becomes clearer when the left path contains another black hole that appears out of nowhere. Angel, Maria, Dayvon and Luis all head for the right side well away from the black hole. They arrive at a part of the space base that has been completed. Glooba fighters begin to pop out of the base to attack the four. The four team up to take out the ships and then defensive sentry guns begin to pop out of the base to shoot the four down.

  “Interceptor system, dead ahead!” Maria says as she spots the source of the alien ships up ahead.

  “Let’s clean up this mess!” Luis says in a determined tone.

  The four have an easy time despite taking a few shots here and there, taking out the base defenses. Although they could care less about the base, they just wanted to get to Mercury. All of them couldn’t help but to wonder what is that robotic arm and where did it come from. As they tread further another arm pops out from the left and it heads for Dayvon.

  “Oh my god… Dayvon watch it! Speed up or that arm is gonna to hit you!” Angel warns Dayvon.

  Dayvon does a summersault as the arm passes him by barely missing him.

  “Thanks Angel, I was almost knocked out.” Dayvon thanks Angel.

  After that the four shoot more ships down and are able to break through the defenses of the Galaxy X base. All of a sudden the scene turns quiet and Mercury is within reach.

  “It’s quiet… too quiet!” Luis says anxiously

  “Yup something’s bound to happen, come on out whatever you are.” Angel screams out.

  Angel jumps ahead of the pack, until the two robotic arms come from behind Angel. Then the body of a robot appears from the bottom and the head appearing from the top.

  “Watch your back Angel!” Maria screams out.

  “So that’s what the arms are for!” Angel says almost unsurprised.

  “That’s their secret weapon they have been working on!” Luis says.

  “Destroy...Destroy!” The robot known as Spybot says in a robotic tone. “I will terminate all enemies! You are an enemy!”

  The robot begins to use its arms to try and smack Angel away. However, Angel is able to barrel roll out of t
he way to his right. Then Spybot shoots energy blasts to the four, which misses each of them. Angel notices a weak spot on the robot, which are its eyes. So he and the other three begin to shoot the robot in its eyes weakening it. Spybot turns its head around to block the shots and begins to launch its fists towards the four. One of the fists sideswipes one of his wings on his ship causing his ship to veer to the right. Spybot turns its head back around and says, “Destroy...Destroy”

  The four once again aim for the bots head until it explodes.

  “Yippee, you did it!” Maria cheers Angel on.

  However the robot gets right back up and uses its left index finger to indicate that he is not done yet.

  “The view is clear! Destroy… Destroy!” Spybot says in its robotic tone,

  “Destroy what? That thing is crazy!” Dayvon says.

  Spybot begins to throw debris at the four, which the four are able to dodge. Until a piece of debris hits Angel’s other wing and Angel begins to lose control of his ship. After that the ship makes a bee-line towards Mercury.

  “Angel!” Maria screams.

  “Look we gotta take this thing out first, no need to panic!” Luis says.

  The other three combine their attacks and smart bombs to finally defeat Spybot. Angel on the other hand is on a crash course towards Mercury with the others giving chase making sure he’s ok.

  “That thing is gone, good riddance!” Dayvon says.

  “Yeah, but we got a bigger problem on our hands!” Luis replies to Dayvon.

  “Yeah my hubby is about to crash into Mercury, I hope he will be ok!” Maria says in agony and in a worried tone.

  “Come one Maria, think positive I’m sure Angel will be fine.” Luis tries to cheer Maria up.

  Maria, Luis and Dayvon all give chase to Angel who is about to crash land onto the planet of Mercury as they are about to enter outer space.

  Meanwhile back on Earth, Quentin and George frantically try to regain communication with the crew, but are unsuccessful. Despite the crew’s efforts in foiling the gloobas plan the planets are still partially aligned, so the gloobas would still be able to use their secret weapon. Not to mention that the gloobas are still spawning in using wormholes. The president has even pulled the U.S. Army, Marines, Air Force and Navy to deal with the aliens that continue to come in. However, the forces of Earth continue to weaken, while the gloobas don’t seem to get any weaker. Angel, Maria, Dayvon and Luis only have 4 days until the 10 days are up and any damage that is done on Earth will become permanent. The four heroes would enter outer space where communication would be next to impossible for Quentin and George. A news broadcast comes on television which indicates that Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Dominican Republic have been conquered by the gloobas. Puerto Rico which is Angel’s, Maria’s and Luis’s home country have been taken over by the gloobas. It’s clear that the aliens have made their revenge plot personal. However who is actually leading the gloobas, is it Orlando or is there a third party involved?
