You’ve made it this far, and you’re still reading! Thank you! I really enjoyed writing Max Mars. I wanted to write a bad ass character that I could drop into almost any scenario. So, if you enjoyed this story, I’ll keep finding more scenarios to put Max in.
For me, writing these books has been pure escapism. And I hope that Max Mars has given you a small little escape as well. Every day I get to travel to an amazing new world and dream up outlandish tales of adventure. This week, a pipe burst in my house, and I had to rip out sheetrock and carpet, and remediate the damage. It was really nice to be able to escape to Orion Station and deal with Max’s problems instead of my own.
I love science fiction and thrillers, and I thought Max Mars was a perfect way to blend the two genres. I’m a sucker for a good mystery. The minute someone gets killed in a book or movie, I want to know who did it, and why. I love reading a good page turner.
Max Mars is smart, witty, sexy, and a total bad ass. Designing the cover was a lot of fun. I felt like Gary & Wyatt in Weird Science designing the perfect woman. I always design the book cover before I begin writing, so, I’m off to design the next Max Mars book cover. Thanks again for reading—writing has been a life-changing experience for me, and that’s all because of you.
