  Chapter 1

It was the middle of May, and my day would begin like so many others. My walk to the registrar’s office was a long and slow walk, dreading the decision of what I courses I would enroll in for the upcoming spring semester. Shit! I hated that this would be my final semester, and I really didn’t want to graduate at all. I thought to myself; hey, if the classes didn’t fit into my Psychology major this semester, then, oh well... There were just some courses I couldn’t bring myself to take–I’d be more than happy to stay in college for a while longer.

I was in my sixth year, with no plans for employment after graduation. The nerd who sat in front of me in my biology class reminded me that I would never graduate, or make anything of myself without a solid plan in place. I remember he used to glance at the scores on my graded tests as he handed them over his shoulder to me–usually, with some smart-ass remark about how I should have studied more.

“Jess, you’re not focused. You’d better shape up if you want to amount to anything other than a housewife.”

I knew that he was just very socially awkward, but he still grated on my nerves. I’m sure that fucking me was probably a big fantasy for him. His snide remarks were likely his only means of getting himself off, as so to say he had spoken to a girl!

I hated this dork. He was the kind of student that you hoped and prayed would somehow fail a test… at least once in his life. But, that simply didn’t happen with brains like him.

Why the hell did he care about my achievements or goals, or what I scored on my exams? I have no idea. This guy was committed to not only graduating early, but also graduating college with honors. …Freak. Yet, as perverted as I am, I had imagined what it might be like to make him my sex slave for a night… not that I’m slutty, or even get around much myself, it’s just that I knew this little prick was vulnerable in that way. It would be fun to watch him cry out for mercy as I roughed him up a little. I think his own intelligence has hindered him socially – too smart for his own good, and not good-looking enough to not have to be smart!

I remember one week in particular, when he had hibernated in his dorm room for a solid week with the flu. He missed three important class sessions, showed up for class on the following Monday, and aced the damned test. I, of course, was up till 2 am the night before, and had spent the evening rooting for our football team, and partying over our victory afterwards. I was happy with my “C”. Fuck him, if he doesn’t like football.

I love football. I can’t get enough of the sport. I remember as a child, I wouldn’t miss an opportunity to watch games on TV with my dad. My uncle would come over to our house, and he and my father would laugh and drink, and cuss the refs now and then.

Dad started taking me along to the live games with him when I was about ten years old. I’ve been in love with the sport ever since. I first fell in love with the smell of the stadium and the roar of the crowd. I remember the aroma of garlic french-fries, sticky beer on the benches and excitement filling the stadium. We celebrate both losses and wins, after the game with my dad, his younger brother, and their friends.

My early years of soaking up the stadium ambiance, has hooked me. Once I had picked up on actually watching the game, I became fascinated with the energy of the sport, and the raw power of the players. By the time I was 15, I found myself even more interested in the players. That’s when I lost my virginity. There was this meathead linebacker I met in my freshman year of high school–not the sharpest tool in the shed, but built like Thor with a face to match. He had all of his buddies believing that he had screwed half of our freshman class. Cocky prick… He’d throw “hey baby” my way to make him appear to be an experienced playboy around his buddies.

I called his bluff one night, and lost my virginity to him in the parking lot after a home game. It was obvious that, he too, was a virgin. I remember the look in his eyes as we did the wild thing. Neither one of us knew what we were doing, or to say afterwards. But, I knew that this wouldn’t be my last time. It felt painful but good at the same time. This was my first time, and his penis felt huge inside of me. Of course, a hand-job was as far as I’d been with a guy prior to this. We must have shagged for less than two minutes, and I’ve wanted more ever since.

I was drawn in by the player’s strength, and the confidence they exuded. I loved the way they moved on the field together. I often imagined my favorite players undressed, and what it would be like to make love to one of them
right there on the field. That’s how it all started, and later that year in life, I became forever, a diehard fan of the game.

  Chapter 2

Fragrances of spring filled the air today. The month of May is the month that ignites my memories. As the trees and grasses began greening up and living life again, I find myself filled with an almost surreal flood of emotional happiness. Warm flavors of the campus grounds become intoxicating; freshly mowed grass, chirping birds and love struck students were everywhere you look.

I am reminded of how I used to sit by the big fountain on our campus courtyard with my girlfriends. We’d come prepared with poster boards, which we would hold up to rate the boys as they walked by, on a scale from one to ten. I have memories all over this campus!

Today as I walked alone, I almost felt sad. I was not ready for my final year of school. I dreaded the thought of life after graduation, and jumping into the grind of working for a living. Of course, I’d have to get a job right away in order to pay off my college loans that had accrued over the past six years. And, it’s not that I’m lazy. I like to work, but right now, I love the college experience and have little desire to move on.

I decided to take my time today… stopping to smell the roses, so to speak. I wanted to soak up every bit of this atmosphere, while I still could. I knew it was something I would miss greatly some day. By now you can probably guess, that I would have been a “career student,” if I had felt it was at all possible.

As I approached one of the old stone benches in a garden area, I paused for a moment to sit and soak in some of the spring sunshine. It was close to noon, and my next class wouldn’t be for another two hours. The faint sound of one of the campus mowing machines made it even more bliss. It’s funny how certain sounds and smells will spark old memories.

It occurred to me, that at this very moment, I was happy–possibly as happy as I could be for the rest of my life. I had my whole life ahead of me and I was truly content…

Suddenly, from literally out of nowhere, a guy came sailing over my shoulder slightly grazing mine as he fell to the ground near my feet, and rolled to a stop. Like lightning, he sprung up from the cobblestone garden path, with a football in hand, and a look of panic on his face. With two quick, and unnatural strides toward me, he began begging for my forgiveness while extending his hand.

“I am so sorry! Are you okay? You were covered by garden hedge from behind, and I didn’t see you,” he said, still looking genuinely concerned.

“I’m fine, I grinned. You barely even touched me. No worries,” I said. “It’s a great day for football. Enjoy it.”

At that same moment, I realized whom I was talking with: Jordan Wyatt, the wide receiver for our school team. Gawd, he was handsome. And knowing of his reputation off the field, he knew it. I had heard plenty of rumors of how he would treat the ladies–he was a womanizer, and a love em’ and leave em’ prick, that had no scruples whatsoever.

It was still early in the spring, and he was already sporting a bronze tan. He looked different out of uniform. He was wearing cut-off sleeves from an old faded sweatshirt, shorts, and flip-flops. His sandy hair was damp with sweat, and particles of sand from his abrupt landing on the path were stuck to his forearms. Shifting my eyes downward for a split-second, I spied his package–it was obvious he was not wearing a jockstrap like he would wear on the football field. I could see the outline of his cock. If I wasn’t mistaken, it appeared to be slightly erect, or else this boy is huge! The sheer diameter made me quiver beneath my skin.

As he moved in closer to me and extended his hand for an introduction, I picked up his scent; a musky and earthy scent–like rosewood or something. I made that awkward little audible gasp, which I sometimes make when I become suddenly overwhelmed by my senses.

Our eyes became a little more focused. “So, yeah, are you sure you’re okay? I mean… I’d like to make it up to you if possible. How about I buy you lunch or something?” If I didn’t know any better, I would say that he was instantly attracted to me–I could tell by the way that his eyes glanced down to where my body made contact with the bench. I was wearing some yoga pants, with a drawstring, which become very formfitting in this position.

I wouldn’t call myself gorgeous by any means–but I was blessed with some sharper features from my mother’s side. I’m sure that I’ve got a decent body, not only because I workout three times a week, but I’ve been told that I have great assets before.

Let’s be honest, a girl can sense when the guys are looking, and what they’re looking at. Jordan was definitely looking–and I was looking back.

But, this was insane; Jordan Wyatt had just “checked me out”, and now he was asking me out to lunch. He could have had just about any bitch he wanted. Not only because of his good looks, but because he was practically a celebrity on campus. I figured I’d be a fool not to accept his invitation, but the whole idea just caught me off-guard and made me a little hesitant for some reason. With his reputation, I’d probably be taken advantage of, and dumped the next morning… maybe not such a bad thing.

I didn’t answer right away, but rather shifted the conversation to how nice the day was. “Do you play football on the campus grounds often?” I said, while giggling and knowing full well that he was possibly the best player on the team–and that he would only gloat with pride. It’s not that I didn’t want to boost his ego any higher than it probably already was, it’s just that I wasn’t sure I wanted him to know how big of a fan I am of the game.

“Actually, I’m a wide receiver for the team,” he said. “Me and the boys were just having a little catch on our lunch break,” he said, while spinning the football on the tip of his finger the way you’d spin a basketball.

“Oh, cool. I don’t really keep up with sports that much. So, are you any good?” I said, while chuckling a little to myself.

“Well, I think so. I’ve been told that I am. I mean, I’ve started in every game this season, and I may be an upcoming recruit for the NFL. So yeah, I’d have to say, I must have some talent. But what’s more important to me is my love of the game.”

The way he almost stammered at what he was trying to say, while apparently trying to remain humble, was cute.

At about that time, two of his catch buddies arrived on scene. “Hey girl–you okay?” one of them said. “You just about got run over by Jordan Wyatt! I thought he was going to take you down for sure.”

“Oh, Jordan Wyatt? I’ve heard the name before. You’re a pretty popular football player I guess, huh,” I said.

“Are you shitting me?” the guy said. “Jordan is THE best player on the team. He’s already a pro ball prospect.” He jokingly chuckled “sure, he can be a real dickhead sometimes, but overall, he’s a pretty damn good guy, and an even better wide receiver. He’s third in the nation for receiving yards,” he smiled. “I guess you must not keep up with college football.”

I wanted to set this guy straight about my knowledge and love for the game, but I didn’t really care for his condescending attitude. If anyone was a dickhead, it was this guy. Besides, at this point, I didn’t want to blow my cover with Jordan. I liked the way things were going with him–you know, playing the “not so impressed” kind of girl. I was typically pretty bold with guys I wanted, but it was different this time. Jordan made me feel vulnerable. So far, he wasn’t living up to his bad boy reputation at all. I suppose that I was a little leery and intimidated by him.

“Let’s go and get some lunch, Jordan,” said the third guy. “…Unless you plan on hanging out with this hot chick for a while longer.”

Jordan turned back to me. “Would you care to join us for a burger? I promise I won’t bite.”

“I’d really prefer something lighter, like a salad, if you’re still offering to buy. And I might bite,” I chuckled.

“Let’s do it. You guys go on ahead without me. I owe this young lady the lunch of her choice,” Jordan said.

“Shit dude. Okay, suit yourself… and good luck w
ith this one.”

I immediately felt degraded by that guy. “This one?” What the hell was that supposed to mean? I was glad to see them walk in the other direction as Jordan coerced me by the shoulder to walk with him.

  Chapter 3

We had a fairly easygoing conversation on the walk to a tiny café, just around the corner from the campus stadium. Jordan still had the football in hand, and casually tossed it up and down as we walked. He was different than most of the players on the team. He didn’t have any tats, or piercing, and his language was clean, so far.

“You just can’t put that thing down, can you?” I said. “I’ll have to admit, I’m a pretty big fan of the game, myself.”

“I love it. If there were no other choice for me than to play professional ball, I would be okay with that. I really don’t know what else I can do. I grew up in the game–played every year since I was a kid. I’ve never been too big, so it was by default that I learned to run fast! Football is the only thing I’ve ever really cared about. How about you? What do you like about the game?”

“I like just about everything about the game. My dad is a huge fan and turned me on to football at a young age. I can’t remember a time when we didn’t have a huge gathering at our house for Super Bowl Sunday. What about you, Jordan? Did your parents get you into playing early?”

“Well, not really,” he said. “My dad wasn’t around much, and when he was, it usually wasn’t good. I mean, he had some issues… mainly with alcohol. But, hey, I decided to move beyond the bad home-life long ago.

I was fascinated with the first professional game I had ever watched; it was the AFC Championship. The Patriots and the Steelers–the most awesome game ever. Tom Brady was injured during one of the plays, and Josh Miller’s 64-yard punt was the ticket to win the game. There was a penalty, and the punt was redone and returned by Troy Brown, for a 55-yard touchdown. All of this, with only four minutes left in the game!
