The Truth Healer: A Riveting Spiritual Psychic Thriller

‘Can’t wait to hear all about it….so Friday 6pm at Bella’s?’
‘Fantastico!…see you then….bye babe.’ Lola replied.
Chloe had taken a few weeks to settle back into normal life following her expedition around Europe. The elation she had felt at reuniting Rosie and Sadie with Lucy and Tom was indescribable. Tatiana and Truth Master Benedict were so ecstatic at her accomplishment, they gave her three months off from any new missions, to recover and spend some quality time with Josh.
She still spent her days at Headquarters though, giving Reiki treatments and developing her psychic abilities. Harry was now a regular visitor, and he confirmed he had a hand in the lorry blocking the kidnapper’s path in the shanty town.
With her first mission being so immense, she was given smaller cases to work on after her break. The Truth Circle had now extended their interventions to right the wrongs of unjust behaviours. They could now step in where acts of cruelty were going to cause great detriment to honest people’s lives - an innocent widow being scammed by an untrustworthy lover; an eternal friendship being broken by a scheming mediator feeding untruths; and an illicit affair set to destruct an honourable man’s life.
Chloe knew her time was brewing for another big case, so she prepared herself by creating mini work trips to get Josh use to her occasional absenteeism. She still felt tremendous guilt lying to Josh about the separate life she living. He, however, was quite content with life since him and Jim’s success at finding Rosie and Sadie. Not to mention foiling a potential new kidnapping, and being involved in the capture of one of the largest child trafficking rings in a decade.
‘So what’s Lola been up to now?’ Josh asked smiling.
‘Oh you know, the usual. Another young Adonis at her beck and call.’ Chloe smirked.
‘Before I forget to tell you, there is an awards ceremony next week I want you to come to?’ Josh announced.
‘Oh yes, what’s that for?’ Chloe replied, plonking herself down on the sofa next to him.
‘Jim and I are receiving an award for the Rosie Parker case.’
‘Wow Josh that is fantastic!… I am so proud of you both.’ Chloe replied excitedly, touching his cheek affectionately.
‘I know, we are over the moon. Although we feel a bit guilty that it was actually that undercover policewoman that finally found Lucy and Rosie.’ Josh admitted.
‘Don’t be stupid, you flew straight out there as soon as you received the call from Tom Parker, and you both rallied round the other police forces. If it wasn’t for these actions, that barbaric trafficking gang would still be out there, and Anna Gerber’s parents would never have been reunited with their daughter.’
Josh gazed at Chloe lovingly. ‘You really are the best Miss Messenger. I am so lucky to have you. It is funny though, that we never did find out who that undercover policewoman was.’
‘….Yes, it is strange isn’t it.’ Chloe replied, before getting up and walking away smiling.
