Craving Me, Desiring You

“Did Tax and Melissa stop by?” I ask, changing the subject. If Christy doesn't want to go, that's alright. Kimmi will come to the hospital whether Christy wants to or not, and she'll follow. They're inseparable that way. Besides, I'll have no shortage of people by my side, most importantly my husband, Austin Sparks. And my mama, of course. She'll be there, too. If all of Triple M could come, they probably would. Well, most of them anyway. I grin at the thought of Beck passing out cold on the floor of Tease's delivery room. Everyone has their weaknesses.
“They did. Melissa returned some book that you lent her, and she hinted that Seventy-seven Brothers might be pushing to expand their territory. There's a club between us and them that's been trafficking in some dark ass shit. Should the Need Arise, I guess. I told 'em I didn't mind.” Austin opens his eyes and lifts his head, smiling at our daughter as she thunders past, raising my fingers to his mouth for one, perfect, little kiss. “Anything that makes the world safer for y'all makes me a happy, happy man.” I give him a look that he pretends he doesn't see.
“No motorcycle rides until she's ten,” I say sternly. “If you care that much about safety, you'll listen to me on this one.”
“Four,” he counters. I raise an eyebrow. “Five?”
“You really are insufferable, you know that?” I ask and Austin grins big.
“Sugar, if you're willing to put up with me, that's all that really matters. You say ten, then I'll wait until she's fifteen.”
“I love you, Austin Sparks,” I say.
“And I love you, too, Amy Cross.”
Never were truer words spoken.
And so we lived happily ever after.
The End
Dear Reader,
Thank you for joining me and following along with Triple M's growth from nomadic bikers to one big, happy family. I had considered more books in the series – with Kimmi and Christy or Tax and Melissa – but it felt right to end it here. With a happily ever after. And also with the characters who started it all, back when Losing Me, Finding You changed from a stand-alone novel to a four book series.
I hope you enjoyed the ride, the love, the sex, the shootouts. And I also hope you'll join me on my next adventure. These characters might have found their happiness, but there are a whole host of others stuck in my head desperate to get out. Follow me on Facebook @ facebook.com/cmstunichauthor for all the latest news, or email me here: author@cmstunich.com if you have any questions about these books or any others.
And last but not least, I heart the hell out of you.
Thanks for reading.
Love, C.M. Stunich
