“Leave me alone,” Shea ordered, no longer talking to Viktor and Gunner. He needed the wolf to understand that he was in charge. No one would take that away from him. Something about his tone alerted the other two men and they tried to calm him down, but their touches only fueled the lust.
He growled. His fingernails grew into sharp claws and he swatted at them. Both men looked pissed, which was just fine. Shea needed them both to leave before he climbed onto them and took what he wanted.
“Ungrateful brat,” Viktor snarled, but at least he got up from the bed.
“Get out,” he said in a desperate tone.
Gunner watched him. “What’s wrong?”
Shea shook his head. He bent his knees and pressed his head against his legs. His cock now throbbed. Control was slipping. The wolf howled inside. He needed to be touched. No, that wasn’t going to happen.
“Get away,” he cried out. His eyes started to change as fangs started to grow. Viktor stepped closer to study him.
Then all reason left him. He pushed Gunner down and straddled the hunter’s waist. He started to hump him like an animal in heat. It wasn’t enough. Tears of frustration formed.
“Shit,” Viktor said. He reached down grabbed Shea’s shoulders and held him in place.
Shea looked at the half-demon and licked his lips. One man wasn’t enough. He wanted to taste both of them. He let out a frustrated cry as he continued to hump Gunner’s body.
Viktor let go of Shea’s shoulders and gripped the back of his head by the hair. He pulled back Shea’s head and kissed him. His tongue slid inside and ravaged the shifter’s mouth. Shea pushed the blanket away and exposed his rock-hard cock. Viktor sucked on his lower lip before pulling away. He whimpered. Then Viktor pinned him to the bed. He grabbed Shea’s arms and held them above his head. He tried to reach down and touch his cock, but Viktor wouldn’t let him move. He growled and bucked his hips.
“Calm down,” Viktor ordered. “Look into my eyes.”
Shea did as he was told, but it didn’t help. He bit down and cut into his lip. He was trapped between heaven and hell.
“What’s wrong with him?” Gunner asked.
“Our little wolf is in heat. He’s desperate for our cocks to plunge into him.”
“Fuck you,” Shea said, but he couldn’t deny the truth. He moved his hips in a seductive manor.
“Oh no, little wolf. Fuck you.”
He nodded his head. That was what he needed. The wolf agreed. He pulled one hand free and reached down to rub his cock, but it wasn’t enough. His hand did nothing to offer release. He grabbed onto his hair and started to pull it in frustration.
Gunner grabbed his hand. “Come here, Shea.” The hunter pulled him onto his lap and forced his legs open. Viktor moved in between his parted thighs and sucked on the tip of his cock. Gunner leaned into his neck and kissed up and down it, leaving a trail of marks and bruises.
Shea moved both hands to Viktor’s head. He laced his hands through his soft hair and tried to push him down. Shea wanted to ride it out, but there was no release. He wasn’t even close, touching wasn’t working. The wolf snarled and he knew what they both wanted.
“Please, fuck me. Don’t wait. Just do it.” He spread his legs wider, inviting Viktor inside.
Viktor cupped his cheek. “You’re too far gone. I won’t take you dry. I need to get up and grab the lube.” Shea didn’t want him to leave. “When I come back, I’ll give you what you need. First, I’ll take you while you’re nestled in Gunner’s arms. Then after I fill you, Gunner will fuck you while you’re on hands and knees with my come dripping out of your ass.”
Shea watched Viktor’s ass as his mate walked to the dresser. Gunner rubbed his cock and played with the nest of hair. Gunner’s cock pushed into his back. He wanted it so bad.
“Gunner, fuck me,” he begged. “I can’t wait.”
Gunner leaned closer to whisper into his ear. “Don’t worry. It’s coming.”
Viktor spread the lube over his cock and fingers before tossing the bottle onto the bed. Shea braced himself, but instead of the hard cock, a finger started to stretch him. He writhed against Gunner, who kissed and sucked on his neck. He bit his lip to keep from moaning. Viktor grabbed his chin.
“Open your mouth,” he ordered and Shea obeyed.
When Viktor pulled his hand away, there was blood on his fingers. “Shea, look at me.”
He obeyed.
“You’re biting too hard and cutting your lip.”
“Don’t care.” He was a shifter. Shifters healed. That pain kept him from insanity.
“No more pain,” Gunner said. He gently rubbed Shea’s bruised lips. While Shea focused on the gentle touch, Viktor kissed down his chest. A hand reached underneath and pushed inside. While fingers worked at his back entrance, Gunner stuck his fingers inside of Shea’s mouth.
“Suck them, Shea.”
He did. Viktor’s kisses moved across his belly and down to his groin. He wanted to bite down. While he would draw his blood, he wouldn’t make Gunner bleed. Viktor sucked on his cock as Gunner sucked his neck. The hunter’s other hand pinched his nipples. The hard nubs stood to attention. Another finger slid inside. His toes pointed out so hard that he felt his muscles strain.
“Ready?” Viktor asked.
Shea nodded. Gunner pulled his fingers from his mouth and rubbed one along Shea’s lips, tracing a line across them. Shea reached out and touched Viktor’s cheek. The uncertainty left him confused. Viktor was sure of everything. Shea pulled Viktor close and kissed him. This time their kiss was gentle and loving as Viktor’s tongue pushed inside and explored. When he pulled away, Shea turned and connected to Gunner’s lips. Their kiss was full of uncertainty and gentleness.
Viktor pulled him off of Gunner’s lap and turned him around. Shea stuck his ass in the air. He licked his lips and looked into Gunner’s dark eyes as Viktor’s cock pressed against his tight entrance.
“Ready?” Viktor asked.
“Please. Do it,” Shea nearly sobbed. Then he gasped as Viktor thrust inside of him. He hissed as he was stretched and filled. The heat soothed him and soon the pain ebbed as Viktor settled inside of him. Viktor leaned over him and kissed Gunner. That was the hottest thing he’d ever seen. He licked his lips imagining the taste.
“Now I’m going to really fuck you,” Viktor promised. Shea kissed Gunner’s chest and moved up his body as Viktor rocked inside of him. The wolf growled at the slow pace, but Shea loved it. He reached for Gunner’s lips and started to lick up his strong chin to his mouth. He loved being sandwiched between these two strong men. Gunner kissed him while Viktor rocked into his ass. Then the half-demon picked up speed and slammed into him. The move hit his prostrate and left him gasping for more. He turned his head and moaned.
“Like that,” Viktor said as he hit the spot again and again. The half-demon grabbed his arms and pulled him back while thrusting into him.
Gunner leaned forward and touched their lips. There was no way once was going to satisfy him. He needed more. No one touched his cock as it wiggled between his legs. Viktor moved faster, slamming into him over and over again.
“Will you be mine?” Viktor asked.
Shea nodded. Viktor hammered against his prostrate and he threw his head back in delight. These men loved him like no one ever had. If he died right now, the smile would carry him to the next world.
Viktor stiffened as heat filled Shea. The half-demon slowed the movement and Shea rode out the orgasm. Gunner helped him down as Viktor slid from his body. He needed more and both men understood that. Viktor poured lube on Gunner’s cock as Shea reached for his shaft.
“Not yet,” Viktor said, pulling his hand away. “Gunner needs to fill that sweet ass.”
Shea moaned. Gunner positioned him so Shea’s back pressed against the hunter’s chest. Shea watched Viktor as he sank down, straddling Gunner’s waist. The cock filled the wolf shifter, taking away the empty feeling. He bounced up and down and Gunner ma
tched his pace. Their hips slammed together. Gunner and Viktor kissed behind him. Then Gunner moved him onto his knees. He grabbed Shea’s hips and started to ride him hard and fast. Their bodies slapped together and he moaned.
“I love fucking you, but watching Gunner do it is hot,” Viktor said. “Do you like it?”
Shea nodded, not sure if he could form words.
“That’s it, Shea. Feel my cock,” Gunner said.
Shea fell forward onto hands and knees and Gunner continued to move inside of him. The hunter’s hand stroked his cock. Shea stiffened and his balls tightened. He arched his back and cum spurted out. He tried to catch his breath, but Gunner plowed into him, rocking the bed while he kissed Viktor.
“Give him what he wants,” Viktor directed. Gunner responded by moving even faster into his him. He rammed over and over again, hitting his prostrate before seed filled him. Shea gasped and collapsed onto the bed as Gunner slowly slid out of him.
He looked back as Gunner and Viktor kissed, fighting for dominance. The heat of their bodies rekindled his flame. Once wasn’t enough. He crawled over to his mates and rubbed his hardening cock against Viktor’s legs. He pushed against Gunner and took his lips with a frantic need that surprised the hunter.
“Again?” Gunner asked.
Viktor laughed. “He’ll want it for hours.”
Shea growled, but he knew that was true. After four years of denying his wolf urges, they’d broken free and his wolf wanted to make up for it. This time Shea wasn’t complaining. If sex continued to be this good, he’d let it happen whenever the mangy animal wanted it.
Chapter Seven
For two days, they had lots of sex, only stopping for naps after Shea passed out. The shifter didn’t want to eat. Meals weren’t important. He was on sensory overload. When Gunner was between his legs, Viktor slipped downstairs for cheese, crackers, fruit, and water. They fed him before he climbed onto Viktor’s lap. When Shea was sated, he lay between them, still wanting their touches, but after an hour or two, those touches weren’t enough.
Gunner had already hurt so many. He never wanted to add Shea to that list, but the shifter kept asking for more and he didn’t trust his judgment. Viktor’s presence made the difference between staying or running out the door and abandoning Shea when he needed him. The half-demon eased Gunner into the relationship. Shea hated Viktor’s orders and commands, but Gunner needed that reassurance. One thing became painfully clear. He knew nothing about nonhumans. It might’ve been his job to capture or kill them, but he never understood them.
Gunner searched for their next meal, while Viktor pounded into Shea. The large kitchen had too much stuff. His simple diet left him confused by all the pantry items. Did the type of bread matter? Cheeses lined a shelf in the refrigerator—Asiago, cheddar, Swiss. He grabbed a loaf of rye bread and the sliced Swiss cheese that no one ended up eating.
He moved too fast and winced at pulling the sore skin on his back. Shea liked it rough and he had the fading scratches on his back to prove it.
The shifter lay on his side curled in a tight ball. He let out a soft, adorable snore. His eyes twitched behind closed lids.
“He’s done,” Viktor said, covering the shifter with a blanket.
Gunner rubbed Shea’s hands. They weren’t large like his, but when the claws came out, size didn’t matter. Gunner lifted the blanket and nodded after seeing the shifter’s soft cock.
“Is mating always like this?”
“No. This had nothing to do with our mating. A shifter shares his body with the animal he changes into. Shea’s wolf was out of control. He keeps it on a tight leash. Shea wanted us, which allowed the wolf to break out. Shea’s in control, but the urges force him to act.”
“I don’t understand,” Gunner said.
“Shea’s always fighting his wolf. When the wolf gets out, Shea loses all his inhibition.”
“He didn’t want our mating.”
“No, we didn’t force him. He’s able to let go and give in to his desire. Shea’s lucky that we’re here to ground him. The more he fights, the closer he gets to losing control. If he lost control in a shopping mall or supermarket, he would tear apart everyone in sight.”
“How do you know this?”
Viktor snorted. “When we met, Shea couldn’t control the wolf. It seeped out. They aren’t properly joined. Also, his temper. He gets angry too fast. Shea wasn’t born a shifter. He was turned. And he’s fighting it. We knew about nonhumans. Shea probably woke up one morning and realized his life had changed.”
Gunner blinked. “Humans can be turned into shifters.” That was news to him. Was he really that ignorant? It was one thing to have holes in his information, but he was missing chapters. He was nothing but a failed experiment that knew nothing about the nonhumans he’d captured.
Viktor gave him a look of disbelief, which was not only deserved but probably mimicked his own clueless expression. “You’re a hunter. You know nothing about demons, half-demons, or angels, and you don’t know that humans can be turned into shifters.”
Nothing like kicking a man down. Maybe next time Viktor could hand him a grenade after he pulled out the pin.
“How does a human turn into a shifter?” Gunner asked in an attempt to get rid of some of his ignorance.
Viktor looked at Shea. “He was attacked by a wolf shifter. The shifter needed to bite him and inflict enough damage so he loses a lot of blood. When Shea was near death, the animal spirit came and merged with him, creating a nonhuman.”
“Someone attacked him?”
“Yes. Someone not only attacked him, but nearly killed him.”
Viktor’s eyes changed and Gunner knew his mate wanted to find and kill Shea’s attacker. He wanted to keep the two men safe, but he was tired of killing. Revenge wasn’t going to be a part of his future.
Shea nuzzled his nose into the pillow. Gunner couldn’t imagine the brutality inflicted on him.
“Come on. He needs to sleep.” Viktor stood and walked into the bathroom.
Was he supposed to follow? Should he wait here? He reeked of sweat and sex. The need to wash the stickiness off chased away the doubt. Viktor could kick him out if he wasn’t wanted. At least then he’d know his place.
Viktor leaned against the sink and smirked when he entered. “This is your home. Don’t wait for permission to enter the bathroom.” The half-demon stepped closer and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips. “You can kiss me, too.” The tone promised more than gentle kisses.
“What happened to not understanding people?” Gunner asked.
“I can read people. I don’t care what they think or feel. You and Shea are different. I can feel through the bond. And I care.” Viktor paused and studied him. “How old are you?”
Gunner shrugged. He thought back to his file and remembered the year written on it. With some quick math he had the answer. “Twenty-seven or twenty-eight.”
“You don’t know. What year were you born in?”
Another thing he should’ve known. “I know the year, but I don’t have an exact date. If I was created in a month before this one, I’d be twenty-eight, but if it happened after, then I’m twenty-seven.”
Viktor nodded. “Then we need a month and day to celebrate. Pick one.”
That sounded nice. He wanted to choose last Friday, the day they met, but that was too selfish. He couldn’t claim their day as his.
“What are you thinking?”
He should lie or shrug off the question, but he answered it. “The day we met was the day my life changed. If I had to choose, that day would be it, but it’s our anniversary. I can’t claim it as my day.”
“Stop putting us first.”
Was he doing that? Gunner wanted them to be happy.
“I don’t have a lot to offer,” he confessed, but that didn’t sound right.
Before he could blink, Viktor pressed him against the wall. “You’re my mate. That means you have a lot to offer. Shea’s sleeping, but he’d agree for
the same reason.” Fingers slid down his thigh. “Say that again and it’ll be your ass that will be punished.”
“You’re angry.”
“I’m changing. I feel your anxiety and fear. Now, I’m starting to understand it. The connection between us allows those feelings in. Demons weren’t born unable to feel. They lost that after the fall. As a half-demon, that’s one of the things that’s muted. But I never sinned. That’s why I can change and learn. Demons can’t. It’s a punishment. I’ve always been able to get angry but it disappeared before I could understand it. Now, I’m different. If someone hurts you, I’ll rip his heart out. Before we met, no one made me feel that way.”
“So you can get angry for other people.”
“No. I get angry for my mates. I don’t care if the world starts a war or if hunters slaughter shifters, but I care if you’re dragged into that war or if hunters hurt Shea.” Viktor let his words sink in before continuing. “I know what you’re feeling. Regret and self-hatred. No matter what you’ve done. It doesn’t matter.”
Viktor knew his heart. Gunner had killed and hurt so many nonhumans. There was no forgiveness. “I don’t want any more suffering. I’ve caused too much of it. Viktor, I tore apart families. Sent children to the scientists for studying.” That was what changed inside of him. He learned to care about nonhumans. “My sins can’t be dismissed.”
“Still thinking about the past. We live to learn. Your pain matters. The past can’t be rewritten. Right now, you’re here with me. Focus on that. Feel that.”
Gunner opened his mouth to tell Viktor that it wasn’t that easy, but a finger touched his lips silencing him.
“No more talking. Let’s wash up. We have days of sweat and sex on our skin.” Viktor pulled him into the shower. “I want to clean you.”
If only Viktor could clean him. The dirt could be washed off, but not the guilt. A hand rubbed his back and guided him into the walk-in shower. Warm water rained down from the top as the side showerheads hit his chest with a warm spray. Viktor pressed into his back. His hand lathered with soap, rubbed down his chest. His fingers pressed into his nipples. Then Gunner turned. Their kissing was frantic and needy. Hands explored and touched skin. Then Viktor disappeared. He blinked and the half-demon reappeared holding a bottle of lube.
