“Fuck… I’m gonna come… I’m gonna come…” I jerked my cock until I was sure it would be rubbed raw, but I didn’t care.

  “Come on me, Ash.”

Her words were the final push I need to catapult me over the edge. My head dropped back as my orgasm screamed up my dick, spraying my cum over her belly and tits. With each yank, I shot out semen until she was covered in it.

“Fuck.” I sank back on my heel. “Is my head still there? You fucking blew my mind.”

Her smile was so pretty and satisfied. “Yes.”

I looked over and saw a tissue box on the coffee table. I reached over and grabbed a couple of tissues to wipe myself off of her.

“I made a mess.” Once I had her cleaned up, I lay over her, wanting to stay near her. I kissed her. “We were never a mistake. We still aren’t.”

  Beth – Friday

I was overwhelmed. By sensation. By emotion. By this man who my heart wanted to love fully, but my mind warned me not to. He said all the right things now, but what would he think about Hannah? Technically, she was a mistake. We hadn’t planned her. And yet, she wasn’t a mistake at all. She was the most beautiful miracle in the world. Would he see it like that? Would he walk away not wanting to have a child? Would he be angry that he didn’t know about her? Would he try to take her from me?

It was that last thought that my brain kept going over again and again. Being with him was dangerous not just to my heart, but when it came to keeping Hannah.

  “Don’t leave me yet, Beth.”

I looked up at him, his hazel eyes filled with emotion and concern. “I’m here.”

“You looked like you were drifting off… away from me.”

I shook my head. I’d give us this moment. Hannah was with Morgan. There was interest from someone wanting to buy the townhome, so we’d be leaving soon. I could give us… me… this moment.

“I’m not going anywhere. You still haven’t fucked me with your dick.” I felt said dick twitch between us.

He grinned. “I love it when you talk dirty.” He kissed me then, and the whole thing started over, the rush of pleasure filling every cell of my body as his hands and lips touched me.

I caressed his back and chest, finally reaching between us to take his massive dick in my hand. I stroked him, once, then twice, before he pushed my hands away.

“You need to stop or I’ll never get inside you.” He reached for his pants, taking out his wallet and then a condom. “I’m going to invest in a condom company. Maybe I’ll buy one so I never run out with you.”

His comment made me laugh, but it was bittersweet too. He was talking like we had a future. A future we’d never have.

He sheathed his dick and maneuvered us until he was sitting and I was straddling his thighs. His fingers ran through my hair. “Ride me, Beth. I love to watch you ride me.”

I pressed my palms to his cheeks and stared into his eyes as I lowered myself over him. He filled me inch by inch, and I knew no one would ever please me, would ever fill me with such emotion, as Ash, which made this moment as sad as it was beautiful.

His hands rubbed my arms and then drifted down to my hips.

“I could stay like this forever,” he whispered.

“Yes.” If only we could. I started to move, hoping I could take my time. Draw out this moment. His tongue snaked out, lapping at my nipple, then he sucked on the other. I felt it in my pussy. It contracted, and tension ratcheted up.

“Fuck yes… you feel so good,” he said on a moan.

I gripped his shoulders as I let my body take over. I moved over him, he moved under me, all in sync. Like we were in a perfect dance.

“Ash,” I gasped as I teetered on the brink of bliss. I wasn’t ready to come and yet, it would be torture to put it off.

“Make me come, Beth… fucking come on my cock and make me come.” His voice was harsh, filled with tension.

I gripped his shoulders and moved fast and furious as I chased my pleasure. It built and built until finally, I was soaring to the heavens. I cried out as my body went taut at the instant of release. And then I rode him, drawing out the sweet sensations.

“Yes!” He yelled as his cock jerked and pulsed inside me. “Fuck yes.” Together we moved, at first to maintain the pleasure, and then finally in a slow dance as we came down.

He dropped his forehead to rest against mine. “You undo me, Beth.”

My heart cried out, wanting to tell him everything and have him whisk me and Hannah away to live happily ever after. But fairy tales weren’t real.

Before I could say anything, I heard the sound of keys at the front door. Oh shit. Ben. I jumped off Ash, tossing his clothes at him as I grappled for mine. “Hurry. It’s Ben.”

If Ben was drunk, it would take him a few minutes to get the key in the lock. I was a bitch for thinking it, but for once, I hoped he was drunk.

“I want to tell him, Beth,” Ash said, as he tugged his pants on. “No more hiding.”

“I don’t think we’ll have to,” I said, pulling my shirt down over my still undone pants.

Ben came through the door and into the entry of the living area. I looked at Ash. Our clothes were on, but barely. There was no hiding what we’d been doing.

Ben watched for a moment, and I wondered if I’d have a chance to pass this off as a drunken dream. His eyes were glassy and he swayed slightly as he stood and took in the scene.

Then he let out a snarl and lunged toward Ash. “You fucker.”

Ash easily dodged Ben, holding up his hands in surrender. “We need to talk, Ben.”

“You’re a fucking asshole. Friends don’t fuck their friends’ sister.” He swung his fist wildly.

Ash dodged again. “I care about Beth. What happened between us is between us.”

“You’re wrong.” Ben tried to belt Ash again.

“Ben, knock it off,” I called out. I moved to get between them, but Ash intervened.

“Watch out, Beth.” Ash pulled me away from Ben. “What the hell is wrong with you Ben?”

“Me?” Ben yelled, spittle coming from his mouth. “That’s rich coming from the guy that fucked my sister. Is fucking my sister. You going to fuck her and leave her again, huh?”

“No. I care about Beth. I always have.”

“You’re a fucking liar.” Ben swayed as his eyes tried to track where Ash was to toss another punch.

“You’re drunk.” Ash looked at me.

  I shrugged.

“Is he like this a lot?” he asked.

“Don’t talk about me like I’m not here,” Ben said.

I didn’t want to out Ben and yet, there wasn’t any way to hide it either. “Since Dad got ill.”

“Why are you spreading your legs for this fucker, Beth? You’re better than that.”

“Hey! Watch your mouth, Ben. You’re my friend, but I won’t let you talk about Beth that way.” Ash’s tone was deadly serious.

Ben scoffed. “Some friend. You didn’t have the decency to tell me about you and her.”

“You’re right, that was wrong. I wanted to.”

Ben tried to make a pfft sound, but it came out like a raspberry. “No, you didn’t. You’re a liar and cheat. The club is worth way more than what you paid. Was a good fuck with my sister a part of the deal?”

“Ben.” Ash’s voice turned menacingly calm, and I worried he’d stop trying to defend himself and become the aggressor.

“Go to bed, Ben.” I turned to Ash. “Maybe you should go.”

“I’m not leaving you here when he’s like this,” Ash said. He meant it too.

  “Ben will be fine.”

“She’s not the one I want to hurt.” Ben pointed at Ash. “My dad always hated my friendship with you. He said a Raven couldn’t be trusted. Boy was he right.”

I didn’t understand why he’d say that. I couldn’t remember my father ever saying anything bad about the Raven family, although I did get the feeling that the friendship
was tenuous between our fathers. Like it was a situation of keeping your friends close, but your enemies closer. Was that why my father said he disinherit me if Ash pursued a relationship with me?

“He was so fucking right. You’ve screwed me. You’ve screwed my sister. You happy now, you asswipe?” Ben finished.

“I’m not happy, Ben. I was wrong to betray you, but my intentions with Beth were always pure.”

“God, I can’t even imagine what you’ve done to her. I remember the shit you used to say you did to your girls in college. I’m sick to my stomach to think you’ve done that to my sister.”

Ash glanced at me, probably wondering how I’d react to having his sexual history paraded in front of me.

“Ben, Ash hasn’t done anything wrong with me,” I said. “Stop making it sordid. You don’t like it. We get it. Now get over it and go to bed.”

“The club… you fucked me over the club too.”

“No. If you’d bothered to be a part of the negotiations, you’d know where that number came from. And clearly you accepted it.” Ash looked at me again. I nodded that Ben had known about and accepted the number, although he’d balked at it.

“We agreed to half.” Ben spat.

“We did. That includes half the costs of running the place, which you haven’t invested in for two years. I ate that expense, Ben. Plus, I had to hire someone to manage the place, increasing the expense. I’d be happy to give you the numbers. And if you want full half, then you owe me back some of the money I’ve funneled into the business the last two years that you haven’t.”

I closed my eyes, wishing this would all stop. “Ash, please.”

“I’m not leaving until he’s calm.”

“He won’t calm down while you’re here,” I said.

“No, don’t leave yet, Ash. I haven’t kicked your ass yet like you deserve.”

“Oh, for goodness sake, Ben. Give it a rest,” I said, getting tired of the both of them. “You pretend I’m some little delicate child, but you’re the ones who are acting childish.”

“I have every right to be pissed,” Ben said. “You know I do.”

“You can feel betrayed, but what I do with my body and with whom isn’t your business,” I said again.

“He was my fucking best friend. You don’t do that.”

“You’re a selfish ass,” Ash said to Ben. “This isn’t all about you. I get that you don’t give a fuck about me, but do you care about Beth?”

  “Of course, I do.”

  “About her happiness?” Ash prodded.

“You don’t make her happy. You left her. Left her high and dry. The scandal had my father shipping her off to Europe to live with our mother.”

  “Scandal?” Ash looked at me.

Panic filled me, as I worried Ben would mention Hannah. “He just worried Princeton was too close to you to keep us apart, I’m sure.”

“You don’t even know the half of it…” Ben staggered back.

With his hands on his hips, Ash glared at my brother. “So, tell me, Ben. What don’t I know?”

And with that, I was sure my world was about to end.

  Ash – Friday

I had suspected that something was up with Ben. I’d even wondered if he was sick. But I hadn’t guessed he was a drunk. Yes, he’d been quite the partier, and did enjoy imbibing at the club, but I’d rarely seen him drunk, and certainly not like this. He wasn’t just drunk; he was pissed at me.

“Ben!” Beth said so sharply, she had me jumping as well as Ben. “You’ve said enough, don’t you think?”

  “He’s still here, isn’t he?”

I sighed, knowing it was a waste of time to try and reason with him, and yet, I couldn’t not make an effort. “Ben, seriously man, I regret the way all this happened. Leaving Beth. Not telling you. I know I betrayed you. You trusted me with Beth and you feel like I let you down.”

“You fucked her! Jesus you were fucking her when I walked in tonight. Even drunk, I could see that. I wish I could unsee it.”

“I never forced her. She’s a grown woman who can make her own decisions, and I’m so glad she chose me. Ben, really, it’s not just about the sex. I care for her.”

“It’s no use, Ash,” Beth said, moving in front of me to look at him. “Ben, honey, you should go to bed. I’m fine and Ash is leaving. We’ll talk more in the morning.”

The hell I was. If she thought I was going to leave her in the house alone when Ben was an angry, violent drunk, she had another thing coming.

Ben pushed her aside, making my hackles rise.

“Stop treating me like a child. You’re a good mom, but you’re not my mom.”

What? What was he talking about? Beth’s breath caught as she looked at me.

Then, she reached for Ben taking his arm. “Come on, Ben. Now is not the time for this.”

But Ben, as drunk as he was, didn’t move. Instead, he shouted at me over her shoulder as she got in front of him again.

“You think you’re God’s gift to the world, don’t you? You think you can have anything you want, any woman you want, including my little sister.”

“She’s the only one I want,” I said, wishing he could see how sincere I was in my feelings for her.

“Just because you’re still rich and haven’t fucked up your father’s business, doesn’t mean you can help yourself to my sister.”

“Ben you’re not making sense,” I said. He sounded jealous. I supposed in his situation, I might feel envious, but I can’t imagine I’d blame him.

“I know you just want her to fulfill your dad’s crazy new rules,” Ben scoffed.

How the fuck did he know about that? “That’s not true.”

  “New rules?” Beth said.

“Not that I could blame you. If a wife and kid fixed my problems, I’d get me a wife too. But it wouldn’t be your little sister, Ash. I’d never do that to you.”

  “I don’t have a sister.”

Ben let out a roar. “You think you’re so funny. So perfect, don’t you? I’ll fix that.” He swung again, and I ducked, but I hadn’t calculated the physics of his swing to where Beth was. His fist landed on her shoulder, knocking her back. She cried out and gripped her shoulder.

It was true about anger putting your mind in a different state. I definitely saw red at Ben’s hurting Beth. Before he could react, I grabbed him and tossed him to the floor.

With my weight over his torso and my forearm over his neck, I seethed at him. “Calm the fuck down, Ben before I do it for you.”

Ben’s body at first fighting me, seemed to lose all steam. He let his head fall back and pressed the heels of his palms into his eye sockets. “What happened to us? We’d been so tight. You fucked that up.”

“I’m sorry you see it that way,” I said slowly releasing my grip on him. When it was clear he wasn’t planning on fighting anymore. I stood and went to Beth. “Are you okay?”

“Yes. But really, Ash, you should go.”

“Beth, I can’t leave you here with him like that.” I looked at Ben, who’d maneuvered himself up to a sit. His knees were up with his arms resting on them and his head down.

“He’s only like that because you’re here. He’s fine when it’s just us. Really. He won’t hurt me—”

  “He hit you.”

“He was aiming for you. Really.” She took my arm and guided me to the door. “It will make my life infinitely easier if you go.”

I didn’t want to make her life harder. If Ben was all riled up because of me, then I’d go. “Okay. You win. But we need to talk.” I looked over at Ben. “All of us, when he’s sober, but if not him, then you and me.”

She nodded, but I felt like she was patronizing me just to get me out. “We’ll talk later.”

“I won’t be brushed off,” I said as she ushered me out the door. I reached in, hooking my hand around her neck and pulling her close. “This isn’t done.” Then I kissed her wanting to have our last second togethe
r one in which I was tasting her.

She shut the door behind me, leaving me on the stoop. What the fuck happened? I texted my driver, who indicated he was a block away. I listened to see if Ben and Beth were having it out, but it was quiet in the house. I guess she had it all under control.

I wasn’t sure what to think about Ben. I was pissed that he’d come at me, even though I knew I deserved it. But I was sick to see what he’d become. He was thin and gaunt. I could see remnants of him in his eyes, but everything else about him was gone. Ben had been the life of the party, even when there wasn’t booze. He was smart and capable, so what had happened?

As my car pulled up, I got in and told him to take me home, but as we got close, I told him to drive me to the office. It was after hours, but chances were good that my father was still there.

I took the elevator up to the top floor where all the executives worked, grabbed the information about McAdams Enterprises, and headed to my father’s office. Sure enough, my father was at his desk. Kade was getting a drink from the bar my father had in his office. It wasn’t a surprise to see him there. Kade was all about work. Food and work.

“Ash, what are you doing here?” my father asked.

“I wanted to show you a new prospective venture.”

  “Drink?” Kade asked.

Actually, a drink could settle my nerves after what had happened with Ben, and in preparing to deal with my father. “Got vodka and tonic?”

  “Yep. Coming right up.”

I sat in the chair in front of my father’s desk. “Have you been following what’s happening to McAdam’s Enterprises?”

“You’re not proposing we take that on?” my father brows lifted disapprovingly.

“It’s got a history and a good foundation. It just needs a little cash and an overhaul.”

“It’s a sinking ship, Ash.” He shook his head. “I know Ben is your friend, but we can’t make business decisions based on emotion, you know that.”

Kade handed me a drink. “What are you thinking, Ash?”

At least he was willing to listen. “He’s got a ton of great real estate that we could flip for fast cash. The ones that have low occupancy rates, we could fill with a little specialized marketing.”
