by Erin Osborne

We’ve been at the party for a few hours now. The food everyone prepared was amazing. It was all our favorites. Now, it’s time for them to bring out the cake. There’s a woman I’ve never seen before helping direct Fury and Crash as they bring it to the table. Fury can barely keep his eyes off of her. Looks like my best friend won’t be far behind me in settling down.

“Everyone, I need your attention, please,” I holler out once they set the cake down. “Ashtyn is my wife and that’s what we’re all celebratin’ tonight. Along with our son Bryce. Right now, is a time for us, though.”

Ashtyn walks over to me when I motion for her to join me in front of our family. Bending down on one knee, since I didn’t get to propose to her before, I stare up at my woman, my wife, for a few minutes as everyone watches us.

“Ashtyn, I told you before, you’ve opened my eyes to so much in my life. You show me love every single day. Now, you’ve given us a son. I can’t wait to add more kids to our future. With this ring, I promise to love you every single day of our lives, give you what you need to make you happy, and provide for our family any way I have to. There are a few more surprises I have for you. One will have to wait, though. It’s not quite ready, but it will be soon. Ashtyn, I love you more than I ever thought possible. I’m happy as fuck you’re my wife and I get to spend the rest of our days together,” I tell her, as tears roll down her face. “We’ll grow together as you learn to bring out your true personality without anyone holdin’ you back. I want to see it all, especially your feisty side.”

Grabbing her hand, I slide the diamond ring I bought down her finger. It’s got a large diamond in the middle with emeralds surrounding it. They match her eyes perfectly. Gage steps forward as I stand up and pull her into my arms. Kissing her as if we just got married for real instead of having a piece of paper with no fanfare. When I pull back from her, Gage holds out her rag. Taking it in my hands, I slide it up her shoulders as she has more tears streaming down her face.

“I don’t know what to say,” she tells me. “Tech, I think I’ve loved you since the night we met in the bar. You have given me all my firsts and I can’t wait to see what else I learn from you. You’re an amazing man who loves with his whole heart and does anythin’ for his family. You show your family loyalty like no one I’ve ever seen. So far, you’ve given into my crazy plan about making us a family with Bryce, and I couldn’t be happier. I love you more than anything or anyone. I can’t wait to add to our family.”

Everyone surrounds us as we party the night away. Ashtyn and I dance to “Yours” by Russell Dickerson. Bryce barely fussed the entire night. He loved being held by his uncles and aunts. That’s nothing new. Fury is actually keeping him for a few hours tonight, so I can have some time with my wife. After cutting the cake, I take my wife away. We’re not leaving the clubhouse because of the baby. Instead, we’ll spend a few hours in our room.

I worship her body as if I’m seeing it for the first time. In turn, I let Ashtyn explore my body as well. She takes her time and learns everything I like. At one point, she uses her tongue to trace my tattoos. The next time we’re together, I want her on my bike. When I’m buried deep in her body I mention that to her, and she gets wetter at the thought. Yeah, my wife is something else. She’s not afraid of anything we do together. Ashtyn Stevens is my perfect match in every single way.

  One year later

I NEVER IN a million years thought I’d be where I’m at in my life now. Instead of being alone, only having my club at my back, I now have an amazing, sexy wife who has give me three amazing children. Instead of hiding away in my room working for the Wild Kings and Deviant Angels, I now live life. I’ve found my place in the world with the help and guidance of Ashtyn; my rock, light, and the love of my life.

Today, we’re celebrating Bryce’s first birthday. Since we aren’t sure of his actual date of birth, Siren made his birthday the day Ashtyn brought him to the clubhouse. It has to be pretty close since he wasn’t more than a few days old, if that. Our oldest is a damn fighter, and I thank the universe my wife found him in that alley, brought him to the clubhouse, and we made him ours. There isn’t a day that goes by I don’t cherish him.

The entire club is here to celebrate my little man. Bryce is walking now and following me around as if I’m his hero. I’ve never felt so full of love as I do now. My oldest son makes me believe I can do no wrong and I’m a better father than I ever thought I’d be. I have to thank my grandpa Judson for that. Along with Pops, he taught me everything I know about being a man. Those two men shaped me into someone I hope Dean would be proud of.

Riley and the rest of the ol’ ladies have gone all out for our boy. They’ve got a ton of food set up, a bounce house, and a water slide into a kiddie pool for the small kids. Gage and Steel are cooking hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken on the grill. Salads and other sides are being brought out and set under a canopy so they’re out of the sun. Tubs filled with ice hold a large variety of drinks in them for everyone in attendance. Bryce’s cake sits inside so it doesn’t melt in the heat of the day while his gifts fill a table off to the side. My boy’s eyes bulged out of his head when he got a glimpse of them.

Walking out the back door of clubhouse, my eyes zero in on my wife as she feeds one of our twins under a tree. Ashtyn blessed me with twins three months ago. A little girl we named Abigail Marie and a boy named Tyson Dean after my brother. I cried and I’m not ashamed to admit it when she told me his name.

She was so beautiful as she grew round with our children. There was a glow to her skin as she nurtured them and did everything the doctor told her. Neither one of us ever knew twins ran in either side of our family. We were shocked as hell when we heard two heartbeats. Every chance we got, I had her naked so I could mentally catalog all of the changes to her body. Ashtyn let me look as long as I wanted without any feelings of awkwardness or shyness. She’s truly blossomed in the last year.

I walk over to my family while watching Bryce play on the slide and in the small pool. His squeals fill the air as the older kids help him to make sure he doesn’t get hurt. My face breaks out in a smile as I swoop down and pick up Ty from his bouncy chair. He coos at me while I hold him close. He’s a big boy waiting for his turn to eat. My wife handles our kids amazingly with love, tenderness, and patience. The same way she treats everyone in her life.

“You okay?” Ashtyn asks me as I cuddle our youngest boy.

“Never been better,” I respond, smiling down at her.

“Me either. I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve given me and how much you’ve helped me with my father,” she tells me, a smile on her face as she looks up at me with tears shimmering in her beautiful eyes.

“Tiny, you have nothin’ to thank me for. I love you more than I ever thought possible. You have given me yourself in every way possible, we have three amazing, beautiful children, and every day is a blessin’. You give me love, light, and happiness every day. Even when I didn’t think I wanted it. I owe Siren and she’s gonna call in a big favor for this,” I vow to her, laughing at the thought of Siren calling in her favor.

“I’m glad we met in the bar. Then Siren realized I was the woman you met there. If it weren’t for you, I don’t know where I’d be right now,” she says.

“Baby, you gave me a life. I was barely existin’ before I met you. My club was my life and I didn’t want what my brothers have. You showed me what it means to love and share your life with another person. I only knew what my mother displayed as a kid. You’ve blown that out of the water and proven not everyone only worries about themselves. That I was worthy of love and happiness,” I say, kneeling down in front of her as her tears spill out of her eyes.

When Abby, our little princess, is done eating, she hands me our little girl so I can burp her while taking Ty to feed him. Sitting on the ground next to my wife, I laugh as Bryce runs over to us, soaking wet and shivering. Placing Abby in her bouncy chair
, I grab a towel and wrap our oldest boy up. He cuddles in my lap while watching his sister in her chair. Bryce is always watching the babies when he’s not running around after me.

I watch on as he reaches out to touch Abby’s little foot. She begins kicking her feet in excitement which causes her big brother to laugh. Bryce still has his little baby laugh and I love it. He’s so gentle with his brother and sister, too. Somehow, he just knows he can’t play rough with them. Bryce is a soft-hearted little guy, too. If one of the twins cry, he’s right there by them, sharing in their tears with a few of his own. He doesn’t like either one of them to be upset.

One day, I’d like to take them to the cemetery where Dean is buried. I haven’t been there since I was seventeen. That’s the last time I was in the same town. Even knowing he’s not physically there, it’s the one place I feel close to him. Dean’s final resting place. Hopefully, he’s watching over us and making sure we’re all happy. Without Ashtyn and our children, I wouldn’t be. They make me happy. They make me want to create memories that will last a lifetime. And I can’t wait to see as they grow from loving children into amazing, caring adults we can all be proud of.

This is how my life is meant to be and I’m not going to take advantage of the gifts I’ve been given.

  About the Author

Growing up, I was constantly reading anything I could get my hands on. Even if that meant I was reading my grandma’s books that weren’t so age appropriate. I started out reading Judy Blume, then graduated to romance, mainly historical romance, and last year I found an amazing group of Indie authors that wrote MC books. Instantly I fell in love with these books.

For a long time, I’ve wanted to write. I just never had the courage to go through with actually doing it. During a book release party, I mentioned that I wanted to write and I received encouragement from an amazing author. So, I took a leap and wrote my first book. Even though this amazing journey is just starting for me, I wouldn’t have even started if it weren’t for a wonderful group of authors and others that I’ve met along the way.

I am a mother of three children. Only one girl in the bunch! My family and friends mean the world to me and I’d be lost without them. Including new friends that I’ve met along the way. I’ve lived in New York my whole life, either in Upstate or the Southern Tier. I love it during the summer, spring, and fall. But, not so much during the winter. I hate driving in snow with a passion!

When I’m not hanging out with my family/friends, reading, or writing, you can find me listening to music. I love almost all music! Or, I’m watching a NASCAR race.

I look forward to meeting new friends, even if I’m extremely shy!

I love you all to the moon and back.

Thank you will never be enough.

To all of the readers who have stuck by me when I’ve had to take time off for my health and other reasons, thank you. It’s just words and all I can say is I mean them from the bottom of my heart. Without you, none of us would be able to do what we love to do!
