I wanted to slap the smile off of Cinnamon’s face. It was only a matter of time though; she was about to get what was coming to her real soon. I went upstairs and packed my things. I was about to go inside of Chad’s office in search of some money until I bumped into Moe’s big ass.

“Hurry up, I ain’t got all day.”

I hurriedly packed the rest of my things and loaded them in Moe’s car.

  “Where to?” he asked.

“You can take me to the nearest hotel.”

When we arrived at the Days Inn, he instructed me to stay in the car. He walked inside and spoke with the receptionist. I watched him pay her and return with some keys in his hands.

“Here I paid the room for up to three weeks for you, you really need to get yourself together, Chasity. This not a good look for you, for real.”

“Whateva,” I replied snatching the keys from his hands and grabbing my things. After making three trips to the car, I finally was able to get all my things in the room.

Settling in the room, I texted an old friend of mine and told him to meet me at the Pizza shop that was located down the street. I pulled out the only bag of coke that I had left and made a few lines with a razor on the silver tray.

I tried so hard to kick this bad habit, but the more I stayed away from it, the more I craved it. Sniffing a few lines, I laid my head back and enjoyed the waves that the drug was taking me on.

My stomach got a little uneasy at first, but once the uneasiness settled, I was feeling really good. It felt like I was a bird flying high in the sky. When my high started to wear off, I sniffed more lines.

Walking to the pizzeria, I sat in the booth and sipped on a Pepsi. It felt like everyone was watching me causing me to become uncomfortable. I kept checking my phone and looking around observing my surroundings. The only thing that I hated about being on drugs was the weird effect that it had on my body.

“You don’t look so good,” Joe said as he took a seat across from me.

“Shut up and let’s talk money!” I snapped. I’ve known Joe for a while now. We met one time when I saved his life. He robbed the wrong people, and they came back for him. I found him laying on the ground dying and crying out for help; people were just walking over him and ignored his pleas.

I dragged his heavy body inside of a nearby corner store and demanded that someone got him help. When he was finally better, we started working together. I would let him know of the hottest traps, and he would rob them. In return, he would give me all the drugs my little crack headed heart desired.

“You know I’m all about money baby, what’s good?”

“I want you to rob a few of Chad’s traps for me and set someone up.”

“Chad?” he asked with a smile on his face.

  “Yeah, him.”

  “A’ight, I’m listening.”

I gave him a rundown of what I wanted him to do. The only thing that I had to do now was locate Chad’s traps. Since Rob started working for him, he had everything completely changed. I had to now learn the drop off days, times, location, and who was working during pickups.

  Chapter 19

  Honey

Today was the grand opening of my nail bar and salon called Sweet Licks, and I was a nervous wreck. I threw up for the third time since I woke up this morning, and I couldn’t decide on what to wear or how to do my hair. I was really on the verge of having a nervous breakdown.

“Bae, you have to chill out for real,” Rob said handing me a glass of water. “You worked so hard for today and I am proud of you.”

I accepted the glass of water and gulped it down. Feeling queasy again, I ran to the bathroom and threw up again. Feeling weak, I just laid down by the tub trying to catch my breath.

“See you’re making yourself sick.” Rob lifted me up and laid me back in the bed. “Get some rest, I’ll call Chad and have him bring Cinnamon by, maybe she’ll help you calm down.”

“Ok,” I replied and closed my eyes.

I was so happy for myself. I finished taking a few business courses and earned my business license. I worked so hard non-stop putting everything together for this day, and now my body was now starting to suffer the consequences.

I felt a headache coming on, so I grabbed two Advil’s and swallowed them down. My mind traveled to Coco, and I prayed that she was ok before falling asleep.

Cinnamon and my mother’s loud voice woke me out of my sleep. Walking down stairs, my living was transformed into a spa. Cinnamon was getting her hair done, and my mother was getting her feet scrubbed.

“Look who finally decided to join us,” Cinnamon spoke.

“What the hell is y’all doing?”

“Rob set this up. He hired these people to get you right for your special day,” she beamed.

“That young man is fine with me,” Mama said.

I sent Rob a sweet thank you text and sat by my mother to get pampered.

“I’m so proud of you ladies,” Mama said. “I’m grateful that you guys decided to change your life in such a positive direction. Now if only I can get to Coco’s ass, I’d beat some sense in her.”

“Yeah, I do miss Coco,” Cinnamon said. “She will always be our sister no matter how flaw she is.”

  “Yeah, you right,” I cosigned.

The ladies that Rob hired did a wonderful job on our hair and nails that I even offered them a job at my salon. I doubled their pay, and they agreed to work for me. I was feeling so much better, and I was actually looking forward to tonight.

Mama was in the kitchen cooking us lunch as Cinnamon, and I laid in bed just like old times, the only thing that was missing was Coco. I was so upset that she betrayed us, but I was ready to forgive her.

“Oh, my God. I Just saw the baby move,” I yelled watching Cinnamon’s belly move side to side. I placed my hand on her tummy and my little nephew went wild. “That’s a busy bodied child.”

“I know all he does is move around.”

“That’s good at least he’ll be ac-” I ran to the bathroom to throw up again.

“Are you pregnant?” Cinnamon asked me.

“Who’s pregnant?” my mother asked with a tray of food in her hand.

  “I think Honey is pregnant.”

“I am not pregnant; that’s just my nerves.”

“Nerves my ass, you need an EPT,” Cinnamon said

“Aww my babies having babies,” my mother squealed.

“Chill mom, you don’t even know if I’m pregnant or not.”

  “Well, we gonna found out.”

“Can we just wait until tomorrow, tonight is my night.”

  “Fine.”

Cinnamon and my mom continued to giggle over me having a baby while we got dressed for the grand opening. Halfway through getting dressed, there was a knock on the door. Opening it, a guy was standing there dressed in an all white suit next to an all white Phantom.

  “Are you Honey?”

  “Yes.”

“I am Fred, and I’ll be your driver for tonight.”

“Thank you, Fred,” I blushed. “We are not quite ready yet, but would you like to come in and take a seat?”

  “Thank you.”

“Will you like something to drink?”

  “No, my lady I’m fine.”

“I will be upstairs, just call out if you need me.”

  “Indeed.”

“Who was that?” Cinnamon asked when I walked through the door.

  “The driver.”

  “Driver?”

  “Yes.”

“Chile, Rob is doing the most,” she laughed as we finished getting ready.

We all were beautifully dressed as we walked the red carpet to the car. The driver held the door open for us and as soon as we were all seated, he drove us to our location. The last time I was in Sweet Licks it was only seven thousand square feet of space, so I was anxious to see how the construction workers and decorators I hired put everything together.

The driver got out and opened the
door for us once we arrived. Rob and Chad met us by the door.

“You look beautiful,” Rob whispered in my ear.

  “Thank you bae, for everything.”

“I’m your man; it’s my job to take care of you,” he said bending down and giving me a nice, long kiss.

“That’s how you got pregnant,” my mama interrupted putting me on the spot.

  “Pregnant?” Rob asked confused.

  “Nobody is pregnant, ma dang!”

  “Honey, are you pregnant?”

“No… I mean I don’t know,” I said. Looking in my eye, he walked away.

  “Mom, see what you did!”

  “What?!”

“Nothing,” I said rolling my eyes.

Walking around Sweet Licks, my eyes began to water. I was really pleased with the outcome. The floors were a tan and brown marble color that matched the brown and tan walls. The spa section was equipped with the latest massage tables, mud bath, tanning stations.

I had the top of the line pedicure tubs with the massaging jets and chairs. The middle portion was where my mini cafe was located and on the other side was where the salon portion was located. All of my workers were dressed in their cute pink Sweet Pink polos walking around building their clientele. The amount of people that showed up and showed me love overwhelmed me.

I was sitting at one of the cafe tables enjoying some hot wings when Rob came and dragged me by the arm. He led me to my office where he instructed me inside and locked the door. I was horny as hell and ready for a quickie until he threw a bag on my desk and spoke.

  “Go take the test.”

  “Now?”

  “Yes.”

  “Really?

  “Yes!!”

I stood there looking at him in disbelief as I grabbed the bag and walked inside my private bathroom. Taking my dress completely off, I sat over the stick and peed on it. I laid the test on the counter and washed my hands. Walking out of the bathroom, I seductively sat on my desk in my bra and thong set still wearing my red bottom Prada pumps.

“Did you pee on the stick?”

  “Yes, it’s in the bathroom.”

He didn’t respond and got up and walked to the bathroom and waited on the results. Five minutes later, he walked out of the bathroom. I tried to read his facial expression to determine the results, but I wasn’t able to.

He pushed me back on the desk and snatched my panties off. Licking my pussy until I had a tsunami between my legs, he inserted his dick in me and began giving me long, strong strokes. When he felt my pussy contracting around his dick, he flipped me over and ate me out from the back until I came.

“Thank you for making me a father,” was the last words he spoke before burying his dick deep in my slippery mound and making me beg for mercy.

  Chapter 20

  Victoria

Recovering from several cracked ribs, a dislocated shoulder, and a busted eardrum, I thanked God to be alive. I ended up having to move back home with my mom because I underestimated Vic once again.

Even with him being dead, he was still making my life a living hell. He switched all his money around, leaving me with no access to anything. I searched high and low for his money and came up with nothing. I even had a Geek Squad tech take a look inside of his laptop to see if they could locate anything for me, but it was as if he had the hard drive wiped clean.

“Mommy, when will you be back?” my son asked.

“As soon as I have enough money to move us out of Grandma’s house.”

  “When is daddy coming back?”

“I don’t know sweetie.” I wasn’t going to tell them that their father was dead until the authorities contacted me with the news. It was weird that they still hadn’t contacted me yet. Grabbing my suitcase, I entered the cab that was waiting for me to take me to the airport.

  ***

“Destination Miami Florida,” the flight attendant spoke letting us know that we had reached our destination. I instantly spotted Chasity standing by a Honda Accord waving at me. She looked as if she lost a few pounds; I prayed that she wasn’t back on that stuff.

“Hey, sissy pooh,” she chimed as she gave me a hug.

  “Hey. What’s up?”

“Nothing, you know just chilling you know how I do it,” she laughed.

I gave her a look and got in the car. The drive to her place wasn’t a long drive. I was really exhausted, and all I wanted to do was lay down and get some rest. We pulled up to her complex, and I was surprised how nice it looked. She told me about Chad putting her out, leaving her for Cinnamon, and how she was living in a hotel, so to see her living in such a nice area surprised me.

“Nice place,” I complimented as I walked around.

“Thank you,” she said still walking around with those shades over her eyes. There was no type of sun in this house, so I was confused as to why she still had them on.

  “You hungry?” she asked.

  “Yeah, what you got?”

“A lot of stuff, go fix us some dinner.”

I wanted to slap her in the face, but I opted not to since I needed her. In the kitchen, I saw that she had a picture of her and Chad on the refrigerator, and I felt really bad for her. Those dumb ass sisters were the reason we no longer had the men we loved in our lives.

I made Chasity a promise that we were going to get back at all of them one by one. Coco was already dead, so that was one less person we had to deal with, but I didn’t let her know that.

I whipped us some homemade chicken noodle soup and made us both a bowl. Sitting at the table, we ate in peace. I noticed how she kept fidgeting during our meal, and I couldn’t help but ask the obvious.

“Chas, are you still doing drugs?”

“No, why you asked that?” she nervously asked.

“Look at you! You can’t sit still, and you still got these damn shades on your eyes.”

“It was all Cinnamon’s fault,” she cried.

  “How?” I asked holding her.

“She knew I was recovering from it, but she intentionally sabotaged me by mixing my weed with it.” She was now hysterically crying. “She did that so that Chad would leave me.”

“Wait, how did she do that?”

“Well, she started talking to this guy named Joe and he’s usually who I buy my weed from. Somehow she convinced him to mix my weed causing me to relapse. She did this just so Chad could leave me,” she sobbed “Why would she do this to me sis?”

I felt my blood began to boil ten times over. I was really ready to cause their family the same damage they caused mine. I held my sister as tight as I could and assured her that everything was going to be ok. She kept crying and asking me why.

My heart instantly broke, and I cried with her. Chasity cried until she fell asleep, and since her body was frail, I was able to carry her to bed. I made a pot of tea for her to drink once she woke up.

Around 6:30 pm, Chasity woke up from her nap. I made her a cup of tea and gave her to Aleve’s to help with the headache I’m sure she had from all that crying she had done. I wanted her to clarify some information on Joe, just to make sure we were talking about the same guy.

Once she confirmed that it was, in fact, the same guy, I got even more pissed. It seemed like every guy I ever really cared for ended up fucking these damn sisters. The more Chasity spoke about them, the more upset I became.

Chasity also mentioned how Rob, one of Vic’s friends was also now in Miami working for Chad. I wanted to reach out to Rob. Although him and Vic ended on bad terms, I wanted to see if I could somehow get some sympathy out of him. I was in desperate need of money, and I was willing to do anything at this point to get it.

The next day, I decided I was going to pop up at one of Rob’s trap houses. I studied every word Chasity said, and she informed me that one of his main trap houses was somewhere in the Pork and Beans projects.

It was hot as hell, so I decided to dress in some white shorts, a blue tank top, and some white, blue and brown loafers. C
hasity wasn’t home, but her car was still parked in the parking lot. Grabbing her keys, I decided to attempt to drive in this new city.

Everything in Miami was fast paced, everyone was rude and it was just too damn crowded. I finally was able to get a hold of a crack that was willing to be my personal GPS for fifty dollars. She finally led me to the Pork and Beans projects and jumped out of the car as soon as she collected her pay.

I paid close attention to her as she walked through a broken gate and knocked on the door. A guy then opened it; they exchanged a few words then he closed it. A few moments later, he handed her something, and she left. I assumed these were the traps Rob was running, so I sat in my car on a stakeout waiting for him to appear.

The sun was down, and the night sky started to set when he finally decided to show his face. He went into the house and was out within an hour. I thought of approaching him, but it would look real suspect for me to just pop up on him, so I decided to follow him. He led me to a Church’s Chicken where he got out of his car and went inside. I waited for about five minutes before walking in after him.

“Oh, I’m sorry,” I apologized as I purposely bumped him.

  “Oh, it’s, ohhhhhh…Victoria?”

“Oh, hey, Rob, what are you doing here?”

“I’m here visiting my peoples,” he lied. “What about you?”

“Well, ever since Vic left me and the kids for some woman, I moved down here closer to family.”

“So, you haven’t heard from Vic?”

“Nope, haven’t seen him or nothing. It’s been real hard, but I’m managing.”

“Damn. So, where are you living?” he asked.

“In the Pork and Beans projects,” I quickly lied. I was new to this city, and that was the only thing that came to mind.

  “You and the kids?”

  “Yeah.”

“That’s fucked up, man even though Vic and I don’t fuck with each other like that I hate to see a mother struggling for real.”

“I know, but it’s going to be ok. I got a new job at McDonalds, so now I won’t have to depend completely on welfare,” I said allowing tears to fall from my face.

“Wait right here,” he said before walking out to his car.
