"I'm not going to have sex with you, Jeremy. I'm not that kind of girl. I just want to… touch you." Her hands run slowly down my chest again.

"Baby, I would never expect you to do anything you don't want to do. I really do like you, Ava."

She smiles up at me "I just don't want to rush into anything. I still feel like we hardly know each other. But, I can't help myself. For some reason I feel drawn to you and all of my inhibitions just fly straight out the window when I'm around you."

This admission from her makes me so happy. "Baby, let's just get to know each other better and we'll see where this goes."

I suck in a sharp breath as her soft fingertips glide over my nipples and up around my neck pulling me back down to her mouth. Kissing her tenderly, I reach a hand down and run it gently across the bottom of her tank, lifting the thin material slightly so I can feel the soft flesh of her abdomen. My body reacts so strongly to the feeling of her skin on mine and I'm sure she feels it too as her hips rise up beneath me and she moans again.

Suddenly I hear a noise at the front of the bus and as I look up to see Tori and Emma, Ava gently pushes me off her and quickly sits up while straightening her top.

"Oh shit. We're sorry. Um… do you want us to come back later?"

I grin at the two clearly embarrassed girls and shake my head "No, that's fine. We were just watching a movie."

Tori glances over at the TV, which was switched off quite a while ago, and the corners of her mouth twitch as she glances down at Ava. "Oh, a movie? Okay." She grabs hold of one of Emma's hands and starts leading her up the bus. "Well, we're just going to go…up here and let you get back to… watching your movie." Tori drags Emma to the back bedroom and quickly slams the door shut as I hear both girls burst into giggles.

Smiling, I glance down at Ava and catch her watching me with a small frown on her face. Reaching down to brush a few wild strands of hair from her face I whisper "Hey, Dundee. What's wrong?"

"I'm so embarrassed. We were practically having sex."

My dick stirs again at the thought of that, but I reach across and throw an arm around her shoulders.

"No we weren't. Besides, it wasn't much different to what we were doing at the club last night. The only difference is this time I was on top of you." Smiling at the memory of her hot little body straddling mine, I watch the blush rise on her cheeks again as her eyes drift slowly down over my chest. She runs her fingers over my shoulder and seems to be tracing the outline of my bald eagle tattoo.

"I suppose I'd better go and let you get some beauty sleep. Not that you need it." She smiles up at me and I lean in for a brief, tender kiss. She reaches her arms around my neck and hungrily kisses me back so I know she doesn't regret what was happening between us. Before the kiss can lead to something more, I drag my mouth from hers and stand up. "I had a lot of fun, Dundee.’ Bridesmaids' is now my favorite movie of all time." She giggles and rises to her feet.

  "Mine too."

Chuckling softly, I bend down and kiss her lips softly again. "See you tomorrow, Ava." Placing one last kiss on her forehead I head toward the front of the bus. Glancing back at the last second I see her standing there with a huge smile on her face, looking so sexy and I have to stop myself from going back to her. I give her a wink and climb down off the bus.

As I stroll back toward my own bus, I can't wipe the smile from my face as I remember the way Ava felt and looked laying beneath me on the couch, the desire so evident in her golden eyes. My body shudders a little, and I don't know if it's from the hot memories or the fact that there's a cool breeze tonight. Glancing down I realize that I have left my shirt on Ava's bus. Oh well, another excuse to see her in the morning.

  ***

The next morning, I wake to the sound of laughter and loud voices coming from the front of the bus. Rubbing my hands over my tired eyes, I stretch out lazily. I don't think I got much sleep last night with my mind solely focused on memories of Ava's soft little moans and the touch of her fingers on my body. The cold shower I took when I got back last night didn't work at all because my mind just kept replaying everything all over again. I stand up and pull on my black jeans that were sitting on the end of my bed where I left them last night and head down to the front of the bus where the boys are sitting around the table having breakfast.

"Hey." I say as three pairs of eyes look up at me.

I copped so much shit from the boys last night when I walked in without my shirt. They had returned from the club and were sitting around playing some kind of drinking game when I walked in. When I realized that Ava and I would be the topic of discussion I went and had a shower and went to bed. Hopefully they got the hint that I'm not going to reveal all the details of our night and don't continue with all their questions this morning.

I walk over to the fridge and take out a bottle of orange juice. Just as I pop the lid and take a mouthful I hear a soft tap on the door. No one makes a move to get up and answer it so I make my way over to the door and throw it open to see Ava standing there looking cute in light blue jeans and a black tank, her hair swept up in a high ponytail. As my eyes roam over her body and appreciate every little detail, it seems her eyes are doing the same to me. Our eyes meet and as I step down off the bus I realize she is holding my shirt.

"I thought you might need this." Reaching out my hand like I'm going to take the shirt, I grab hold of her hand and gently pull her into my body and wrap my arms around her waist.

"Thanks, Baby." I stare down into her eyes and wonder what is going on in her head today. Does she regret anything that happened last night? She came to me this morning though, so probably not. She gazes into my eyes and grins as I lean down and place a soft kiss on her lips.

"I couldn't care less about the shirt, but I'm glad you brought it to me." She grins up at me and nervously chews on her bottom lip.

"So we're heading to Portland in about an hour and it's roughly a ten hour drive. Do you want to travel on our bus with me? Maybe we could watch another movie?" I watch a couple of different expressions pass over her face as she comes to a decision.

"Sure, I'd like that. But are you sure I wouldn't be in the way?"

"Hell no, the guys all love you. They will be happy to have you on the bus with us."

"Okay, come and get me when you're ready to go." She pulls out of my arms and heads back toward her bus, flashing me a sexy grin as she disappears behind the door. Normally, ten hours of travelling would bore me out of my mind, but this trip is going to be fun.

  Chapter 13

  Ava

Placing my bottle of water down on the table I walk over and answer the door.

"Hey Jeremy, are we ready to leave yet?"

"Once you are on my bus we will be."

Smiling at Jeremy I call over my shoulder to the girls. "I'm going to Jeremy's bus; I'll see you in Portland."

Tori grins at me. "Have fun."

Tori raises her eyebrows at me, I look back at her and shake my head, closing the door on her laughter. Sighing, I look up at Jeremy. "She is never going to let us live that down."

Jeremy stops walking and turns to me "No, but I really like where this thing between us is heading and I don't care what she thinks. Stop trying to fight it and just be you, be in the moment and just let go Ava."

He really has a point. Smiling up at him I stand on my tippy toes and softly kiss his lips.

"Okay stud, I'll live in the moment. I'll let you get to know me, the real Ava Flores. Not Ava Flores journalist for Treble Magazine."

"I look forward to seeing the real you, come on lets go, we have a long trip ahead of us."

Closing the door behind us I look at Jeremy and suddenly feel out of place. Hunter, Luke and Brody are sitting on the lounges staring at the TV with controllers in their hands yelling things at one another.

"Ignore them they get quite competitive."

"Stone get your controller and join in."

"Ava is keeping me company today and I don't think game
s are her thing."

I can't believe he is making assumptions about me, right I'll show him. Walking over I take the empty seat next to Brody, and look back at Jeremy. "Can I play?" I say while still looking Jeremy straight in the eyes. Brody's voice draws me away from Jeremy.

  "Sure."

Brody points to the coffee table, I spot the controller lying on top of it. Reaching over I pick it up and glance back at Jeremy who has not moved during my attempt at living in the moment.

  "Dundee, move over."

Moving over I make room for Jeremy to sit down between Brody and I. "Hey." Jeremy lifts me up and sits me down on his lap.

"Sorry Dundee there wasn't much room so I had to make some."

Turning around I look at Jeremy and can't help but smile, shifting so I'm sitting comfortably in his lap I turn back to the TV. All eyes are on Jeremy and I. "What?"

"Nothing, are you ready to play?"

Looking at Luke I smile "Of course, let's go."

  ***

"You've played this before, haven't you, Ava?"

Jeremy turns me around on his lap so my legs are straddling him. "Hey I'm going to lose."

"The boys need a helping hand. You're kicking their asses. I'm saving their reputations."

Smiling at Jeremy I lean in close to his ear. "Umm… I actually love gaming."

Jeremy whispers back to me. "Well you could have just said that."

"You made the assumption." Forgetting that we are surrounded by the rest of the band I look into Jeremy's eyes and huskily say "I'm turning you on right now I can feel it." Hearing an echo of laughter around the room, I remember that I am not alone with Jeremy and everyone had heard my revelation. Snuggling my head into Jeremy's shoulder I hide my face, how can I constantly be that stupid. Jeremy picks me up off his lap and pulls me over to the booth.

  "Do you want a sandwich?"

  "Is it lunch time already?"

"Yeah you were playing for quite some time Ava."

"Oh sorry. I was supposed to keep you company."

"Don't be, I was happy to watch you. Do you want Ham?"

"Yes please." I watch Jeremy make my sandwich but I am lost in thought about what just happened. I can't seem to control myself around him, I say and do crazy things that I wouldn't normally do. Last night I had no idea what I was doing but I just needed to touch him, run my hands all over his body. Argghh! I really like Jeremy and he is really sweet but I shouldn't get too invested, he can have anyone he wants and once he has me I'm sure he'll lose interest pretty quickly.

"Are you alright Ava you have gone really quiet?"

  "Sorry, lost in thought."

  "About?"

  "You."

  "Good things?"

"Yes. I think very good things."

  Jeremy

As I place Ava's sandwich and a soda on the table I wonder where her thoughts had been. She seems to be so much more comfortable with me today and not nearly as nervous. I think she has finally realized that I am actually serious about her and want us to get to know each other a little better and see what develops. I've never been in a long term relationship before. I've had one relationship where I had really enjoyed spending time with the girl but then, we kind of got sick of each other and started fighting all the time. It just wasn't meant to be. But this, it feels so natural and I really just want to be with Ava. This girl has really drawn me in and I find myself just wanting more and more. It is all new to me, wanting to spend all of my time with just one person. But this time, it just feels right.

Sitting down opposite her at the table I pick up my sandwich and take a bite. Glancing up, I notice her watching my mouth and break into a grin.

"You seem to enjoy watching my mouth, Dundee."

As the blush creeps up her cheeks she smiles and snaps her eyes up to mine. "I like your lip ring, it's really sexy."

Chuckling softly, I lean over the table and place a soft kiss on her parted lips.

"You have the most adorable mouth. I especially love the sounds that were coming out of it last night."

She throws her head back and laughs; did I just hear a snort? "See, even when you snort it's adorable."

  "I can't believe I just snorted, that's so embarrassing."

I love how this girl is so easygoing and doesn't seem to be trying hard to be something she's not. It's really refreshing to spend time with someone like that.

She finishes off her sandwich and I clean up the plates, then grab her hand and lead her to the back bedroom. As we get to the door she crosses her arms and raises her eyebrows, looking at me questioningly.

"Since the guys are still playing their game I thought we could watch a movie in the back room, there's a TV and Blu-Ray in there."

She's quiet for a few seconds but then responds "Okay, just a movie.

I stroke her cheek with the back of my finger "Dundee, I told you we will go as slow as you want and I will never pressure you to do anything you don't want to do." She nods her head and I lead her into the bedroom. While I set up the movie I chose for us earlier, another chick flick, she gets comfortable on the bed.

Sitting beside her I smile and take hold of the hand she has resting beside me. Bringing her hand up to my mouth, I place a feather soft kiss on her fingers and settle in for the movie.

  Ava

Rolling over I hit something as I open up my eyes and see Jeremy asleep beside me. Taking a deep breath I inhale his scent and sigh, we must have fallen asleep watching the movie. My throat is dry; I need a glass of water. Slipping out of bed I'm careful not to wake Jeremy up, we had a late night last night and he must have been exhausted after the show. Peeking through the gap to check that I haven't woken him, I close the door the rest of the way. As I step backwards I hit something and stumble, "shit." Turning around I see Brody standing there and he has obviously just walked out of the small bathroom as he is only wearing a towel. A water droplet catches my eye as it falls from his dark hair onto his toned chest. My eyes follow it as it trails down over his hard abs, until it reaches the towel wrapped loosely around his waist.

  "I uh… umm sorry."

  "That's ok, Ava."

I glance up to see Brody grinning down at me. He's got the cheekiest grin.

"Sorry I'll go and give you some privacy." Opening up the fridge I hear Brody pull the privacy curtain closed behind me. Sitting down I turn the TV on and flick through the channels trying to find something interesting. After a few minutes Brody joins me and looks straight ahead to the TV.

  "How was the movie?"

"I um, I don't know." Brody scoffs and mumbles something under his breath that sounds something like 'didn't take long'. I ignore his comment, as I'm not completely sure that's what he said. "I fell asleep so I didn't see the end. How far away are we from Portland?"

  "About two hours away."

"Oh so just in time for dinner, we should all go out to eat."

"Yeah, sounds good. I'll get Travis to book us some place."

"Cool, thanks Brody." We fall into silence and watch the TV as my mind wanders back to a couple of hours ago when I was cuddled up to Jeremy. I hardly even paid any attention to the movie, how could I with the gorgeous spunk that was lying beside me. As we lay there holding hands, my eyes had explored every inch of his exposed skin. I love his tattoos. The top of his right arm has a bald eagle that has the American flag behind it. On his right forearm there is a cool thick dark Treble design with what looks like a splatter of paint behind it. They're really hot.

Hearing soft footsteps I turn around to see Jeremy standing there with messy hair and sleepy eyes.

"Brody and I thought that when we get there we should all go out for dinner then out to a club."

"Sounds good Dundee as long as you're there."

Brody gets up and says something about working on some songs and heads toward the back of the bus.

"You weren't in bed when I woke up Dundee."

"I woke up about 20 minutes ago and needed a drink and I didn't h
ave the heart to wake you."

Jeremy puts his arm around me. I can't help myself I just want to snuggle into him. Giving in I rest my head on his chest as he puts his arms around me and places one on my hip. Sighing I listen to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, I have no idea what I'm feeling but I really enjoy spending time with him. I don't know what is happening between us but it is moving fast. I feel I have no control but for once in my life I don't want control I just want to see what happens and where this leads. If it means I have eight weeks with a rock star so be it.

  ***

Just under two hours later we arrive in Portland. "I'm just going to get changed and I've already texted Tori and Emma to let them know what the plans are, so they should be ready by now."
