“Enough of this shit. This, my beautiful fiancée, is all you need to pack,” he says, points in the suitcase, then leaves the room.

“You’re going to come back in here and help me clean all this up off the floor, right? Spence? Are you kidding me, you made this mess, you better get your ass back in here,” I call to an empty doorway.

Yep, he’s simply infuriating. Since the first day I met Doctor Spencer Matthews, he did nothing, but piss me off. Why I agreed to marry him, I’ll never know. I smile as I remember the day I met him. No, the reason I met him was not a happy one, but it all turned out like I could have never believed.

I was a third generation police officer. It was almost expected of me to join the force. I grew up living and breathing police work. That’s all my family ever talks about. I wanted to be a police officer for as long as I could remember. Seeing my dad’s and my grandfather’s smiles when I graduated from the academy was one of the happiest days of my life. I’m an only child and growing up as a little girl, my mother tried to shelter me from that lifestyle and their influences. But, to her dismay, I did want to become a police officer. She cried the day I went into the academy. The day I was shot though changed everything. I was so pissed. I was mad as hell that I had been shot. My partner and I had walked in on a robbery in progress and startled the young teenager that was holding up the convenience store for cigarettes. For fucking cigarettes! He panicked and discharged his weapon by accident. Never in either of my dad’s, or my grandfather’s, career had either one of them been shot. Here I was, barely out of the academy and I got shot.

While I was getting stitched up, I couldn’t help but stare at the gorgeous doctor who was attending to my wound. I won’t lie, when he was stitching up the back of my thigh, I sure as hell did raise my gown higher than I needed to give him a look at my fine ass. He was tall, muscular, and handsome. He had shaggy sandy blond hair and killer green eyes. What I would have given to see what was under those scrubs.

When I came back in to have my stitches removed the first time, yes, I said the first time, I asked if he was on duty, but he wasn’t. You can bet your ass I left and came back the next day, just so he could do it.

I had a hard time keeping a straight face when his friend was standing behind me giving Spence a hard time. Oh, I saw the whole thing in the reflection of the window to the room. Since then, Doctor Kyle Peters and his wife Amelia have become really close friends to me. Spence and I were in their wedding party just a few weeks ago. Oh my God, what a wedding that was. It was at the beautiful Fairmont Olympic Hotel and what a fairytale day that was. Kyle and Amelia have become our hiking buddies. We hike all over the Seattle area together.

There are only a few people coming to our wedding, but that’s the way we want it. My parents and Spence’s parents will be there, as well as Kyle and Amelia, and that’s it.

The thought of seriously only packing this bikini, is looking better and better by the minute.

Spence knew what was good for him, he did come back in the bedroom to help me clean up all the clothes off the floor. I think I have enough clothes pulled aside that will be perfect for our week in paradise.

I have two full-time employees, who will be running things at the bakery while I’m gone and I’m a nervous wreck. I’ve never left anyone else in charge before. I have a pastry chef, Sadie, who helps me do all the baking, and a cashier, Aubrey, who mans the front of the store. This is a big step for me to leave someone else with my baby for a whole week. They are both very competent people, and I don’t doubt their skills for a second, but in my mind the place will just fall apart without me.

Since our wedding is relatively small, we’ve kept things extremely simple. My wedding dress is knee length, white and strapless. I will wear a local, exotic, white flower pinned in my hair and, of course, I’ll go barefoot. When you get married on the beach, you must go barefoot. Spence is wearing a casual, white, button-up shirt with khaki pants, and he will be barefoot, as well. I’ve left it up to Amelia what dress she’d like to wear. The whole wedding is completely casual.

We’re flying in on Thursday night. Kyle is taking Spence out on Friday for a little fun before the wedding, and Amelia and I thought we’d try and find us a little trouble too. The wedding is on Saturday morning, Kyle and Amelia have to leave Sunday morning, but both of our parents’ have turned the occasion into a weeklong vacation for themselves. A little weird going on my honeymoon with both of our parents, but they assure us they will give us our privacy.

To our surprise, when we checked in at the airport, our parents have chipped in and upgraded our flight to first class. I feel like a queen sitting in cushy seats, being served unlimited cocktails. I also feel a little guilty about our parents in coach. Kyle and Amelia had already had first class seats, so the four of us are living it large.

St. John is the smallest of the three US Virgin Islands and is only accessible by a ferry boat. By the time we get checked into our hotel, it’s late in the evening. Spence and I kick off our shoes, step out on the ground floor balcony of our honeymoon suite, and take a late night stroll on the beach. Have you ever seen a movie where the couple walks down the beach at sunset holding hands with their shoes in their other hand, as the waves lap at their feet? You think, yep, that only happens in the movies. Well, that is exactly what’s happening right now, except our shoes are back in our room.

I can’t help but think how lucky I am to have found the man of my dreams. Not only is he tall, muscular, and handsome, but he has the kindest soul a person can ask for. Yes, his looks attracted me to him in the first place, but it was his soul that had me falling head over heels in love with him. I couldn’t wait to be his wife and start a family with him. That’s all I could see every time I looked at him. I could see him, so kind and patient, with our children. He will make the best dad someday. I can see him out on the soccer field cheering our son on, just as I can see him at our daughter’s ballet recital giving her a standing ovation and throwing flowers at her feet. I can see him throwing a ball in the backyard, with pink nail polish on his fingernails. He’s just that kind of man.

As I walk down the perfectly pristine white beach, I can’t help it, but a single tear slides down my cheek. Now, I’m not a crier. Never was and never will be. But damn it, just thinking about raising children with Spence has me turned into a pile of goo! I quickly wipe it away before Spence sees it.

  Chapter 2

  Spencer

I love that my fiancée thinks that she’s a badass. But the truth of it is, she truly is a kindred spirit. She thinks she was hiding the tears that she cried while we were walking on the beach. But, I felt the wetness on my shirt. She can have that. She can think she has me fooled into believing she’d never crack that hard exterior, but underneath, I know better. Tomorrow night, Amelia and Amanda are sharing this room, so we don’t have the whole, ‘bad luck seeing the bride before the ceremony’ thing. I don’t know why I agreed to it in the first place, because that means I have to share Kyle’s room with him for the night.

As I start to kiss my fiancée for the last time before I make her my wife, I pull away, brush her hair from her face, and search those amazing eyes. I see nothing but love and devotion, as deep as the furthest depths of the ocean. I slip the thin straps of her dress off her shoulders and kiss down her neck. As she tilts her neck, I place my hands on her wrists and move them ever so slowly up her smooth skin, up her forearms to her elbows, up her arm to her neck, and finally to her cheeks. As I look in her eyes, that fucking dimple makes its appearance as she smiles lovingly back at me. She jumps up and straddles my hips, kissing me as if it were for the last time in her life. I wrap her in my arms and gently lay her on the bed.

I peel her dress off, revealing her bare breasts and pink panties. I trail my tongue down her throat, between her breasts, and down her stomach. I hook my thumbs in her panties and strip them down her legs. As I hover over my target, I take a deep breath and inhale her intoxicating scent. My mou
th waters at just the thought of tasting my woman. As I make my descent, she arches her back off the bed and whispers my name. I love bringing her to orgasm in my mouth. She comes undone, and as my name rolls off her lips, and her fingers are buried in my hair, she reveals a side of herself reserved only for me.

As she comes down from her euphoric high, she smiles and turns me over on my back. She spends extra time kissing my neck. She knows how it drives me wild. She straddles my hips and the heat from her core sitting on my lower belly, makes me want to sink into her now. She sits up and waves her finger at me in a ‘not so fast mister,’ way. Then she digs those cat-like nails into my chest and rakes them down my chest. This woman does crazy things to me and I love every fucking minute of it. She scoots down my legs and trails her tongue down the center of my chest, just to the base of my dick. She takes me in her hand and inhales the length of my cock, from root to tip. Holy fucking hell, that was fucking hot. She grabs hold of my balls, gently massages them in her hand, and swirls her tongue around my sensitive tip. I groan and sit up on my elbows to watch her. As she sinks, all the way down, her eyes roll in the back of her head with pleasure. She’s just as turned on as I am. As she continues up and down my length at a torturously slow rate, I don’t know how much more I can take. I haul her up, sink my tongue in her mouth, and fist her hair in the back of her head.

She rises up then slowly descends down on me again. It’s pure heaven. As she rides me, I lift her up by her ass and slam her back down on top of me. She moans on every downward stroke. I flip her over on all fours and slam into her hard. The other little dimple that I love so much is begging for attention. I slap her ass, then rub it tenderly, as I continue to plunge in and out. I feel her insides pulsate around me. As her orgasm tears through her, it sends me over the edge right along with her.

Laying in bed wrapped in my fiancée’s arms, I can’t help but fall asleep with a smile.

  Amanda

Waking up the last day as Amanda Kelly wrapped in Spencer’s warm heat, sends butterflies dancing in my stomach. Today is all about being pampered. Amelia and I have appointments to get massages, followed by hair and nail appointments, then we plan on hitting the town for some frivolous shopping, followed by some bar hopping. Kyle and Spence plan on skipping all the pampering and just head straight for the bar hopping. Our parents are out sightseeing. We plan on all meeting for dinner, then back out to the bars.

Amelia and I are all pampered and dressed to kill, as we head out to the first bar. Amelia thought it would be humiliating for me to wear a stupid veil and a sash that says, ‘bride to be,’ on it, but so far it’s gotten us nothing but free drinks.

We take a break to meet the boys and our parents for dinner. Both Kyle and Spence are three sheets to the wind and are freaking hysterical at dinner. We all continued to drink through dinner and decide that heading back out to the bars is probably a bad idea. Spencer is completely hammered. I walk him back to the room and, instead of sleeping in Amelia’s room, I decide to stay with Spence until he falls asleep.

I watch him as he does a flying flop and bounces on the bed face first. He turns over on his side and crooks his finger in a come hither motion.

He laughs and asks, “Do you want to know a funny word I heard earlier today?”

I smile at him and sit on the corner of the bed.

“What’s the funny word you heard earlier?” I ask him and gently brush his hair from his forehead.

“Kumquat,” he says and laughs. He laughs so hard he sits up and holds his stomach and again says, “Kummm quat. Kummm squat. Come squat. Mmm, I know, why don’t you bring that fine ass over here and come squat on my face?” he says in a serious tone.

I can’t help but laugh at him. He keeps saying kumquat and dragging out the ‘m’ on his lips.

“Mmmm, my lips are numb,” he says.

“I think someone’s had a little too much to drink tonight and needs to sleep it off,” I say and pull back the covers.

“Uh, no, I have had a lot to drink, but I’m not drunk enough to let you out of my sight. I’m serious, you’re going to come over here and squat on my face.”

Who was I to say no to that? Here, I thought last night was the last night to make love to my wonderful man before marrying him. As I held on to the headboard riding Spence’s face, I hoped that the rest of our lives would be this spontaneous and sexy.

As I tucked in a sleeping Spencer, I lean in and kiss his forehead. I slip out of the room and head next door to Amelia and Kyle’s room. I knock softly, and Amelia lets me in. As I enter the room, I see Kyle sitting on the edge of the bed with his fingers in his ears.

“Why are you sitting there with your fingers in your ears?” I ask him confused.

“Are you two done over there? My ears were bleeding from the sounds you two were making on the other side of our wall,” he replies.

I roll my eyes at him and say, “He’s sleeping now, get your ass over there.”

“You still want me to sleep over there?” he asks in a high pitched tone.

“Yes, it’s bad luck to see the bride before the wedding. All my stuff is in your room anyway,” I tell him.

  “Fuck,” he says.

He grabs his bag, kisses Amelia on the lips and heads over to my room. Amelia and I stayed up until one o’clock in the morning discussing the ins and outs of a happy marriage. Besides the given, love and respect and the all important communication, she said the key to their happiness is a good sex life. Spence and I have a pretty active sex life and as far as loving him, I love him to the moon and back. I respect him and everything he stands for. I love his kind-hearted ways and the way he cares for his patients with a true concern for their health. Not just a quick in and out, where’s the next patient. He volunteers his time at a free clinic in downtown Seattle, too. He is truly selfless and I love him to pieces.

  Chapter 3

  Spencer

I can feel Amanda’s warm body pressed to the front of my body, as I dream about last night. Today is the day I marry my best friend and the love of my life. Kumquat, yep it’s still a funny word. After Amanda rode my face, she wrapped those pretty pink lips around me and gave me the best blowjob ever. As I continue to think about it, I get a raging hard on. I’m glad she decided to come back to our room last night and not stay in Amelia’s room. Maybe I can enjoy my fiancée one last time before we tie the knot.

“That better be your fucking elbow in my back,” a deep voice says that is clearly not Amanda’s.

My eyes spring open to see the back of what I sure as hell hope is Kyle. I quickly scramble out of bed.

“What the fuck man? I thought you were Amanda. When did you get here?” I ask horrified.

“Do I fucking look like Amanda?” he asks.

“Shit, man you scared the crap out of me. I was dreaming about last night with Amanda. You will never speak of this, you hear me?” I say to Kyle.

“You think I’m going to fucking tell anyone that you had your cock raised at full attention, poking me in my back? Next time we go anywhere with you two, make sure to tell the front desk we want to be on a different floor,” he says and gets out of bed and walks out the door.

Fuck, that was just so fucked up. My dick has never gone soft so quick. I hope it’s not permanently damaged.

I get in the shower to get ready to marry my gorgeous fiancée. I come out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my hips, only to have the shit scared out of me again. Kyle is sitting on the bed with the remote in his hand flipping through the channels.

“What the fuck man, how’d you get in here?” I ask.

“The girls kicked me out. Amanda gave me her key. You’re stuck with me until the wedding. I ordered room service. Put some fucking clothes on man,” he says.

Kyle and I are all dressed and I can’t wait to walk down to the beach to make Amanda my wife.

As we make our way out to the beach, I see a wooden arch set out just inches from the shoreline, wrapped in al
l sorts of local exotic flowers. The officiant is standing in the center, just behind it. To my right, my parents stand with smiles on their faces. To my left, Amanda’s mother and Amelia are standing with tears in their eyes.

It’s an absolutely perfect day. The sky is a magnificent shade of blue and dotted with little puffy white clouds. The water is calm, and so crystal clear, you can see the different shades of blue in the changing depths. My heart is beating so fast from the anticipation of seeing Amanda. My palms are sweaty and I think I actually might pass out. Kyle and I take our place and I reach into my pocket and grab her wedding bands, to try and draw some calmness from them.

When I see Amanda walk out with her father, she steals my breath away. An instant calm washes over me, as she smiles and graces me with that dimple. She’s dressed in white, with a white flower pulling back one side of her hair. Amanda and her father hold hands until they stop just in front of me. Her father hands me Amanda’s hand and kisses her on the cheek. He takes his place next to his wife, but not before he wipes her tears away and places a kiss on her cheek.

“Family and friends we are gathered here on this spectacular day in this wondrous, exotic, location to bear witness to the binding of two souls. Who gives this woman to be married?” the officiant asks.

“Her mother and I do,” her father says.

“Spencer and Amanda, please take each other’s hands and look into each other’s eyes as you make this unbreakable commitment to one another. As infinite as the water is in the sea, and as immeasurable as each grain of sand on this beach is, so may the love that you share for one another. Spencer, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, to keep safe, to love and to cherish in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for the rest of your life?”

  “I do,” I tell her.

As I look into her amazing blue eyes, I slip on her wedding bands, bring them to my lips and seal them forever on her finger with a kiss.
