His Brothers Wife

Page 4

by Paulin, Brynn

I’d made her mine last night and I wanted to keep her, but I couldn’t.

Her hands lifted over her head as our hips worked together, and I pressed her wrists to the pillow, capturing her. I used that arm as leverage as I pressed my free hand over her neck. She pushed against my palm, moaning as she stared at me. Her breathing grew rapid, arousal burning in her eyes. With just a little pressure, I could stop her breathing. We both knew it, yet she trusted I wouldn’t hurt her. She knew I wasn’t like her husband.

Her cunt clenched on my dick as she slammed herself up my shaft. I moved just as wildly. This was the last time. After this, we’d get dressed and civilly say goodbye.

The wildness inside me amplified, and I yanked away from her. Pulling her from the bed, I bent her over the edge of the table near the window. The bright sunlight streamed through the glass as we stared outside. We were angled so that anyone looking in would see us, would see me fucking this woman who belonged to someone else. I pushed into her sodden passage, holding her hips and using her for my own satisfaction as I took long even strokes.

Her breasts pressed to the table, and I heard her skin skidding along the table with little squeaks as my powerful drives pulled her back and forth. Catching her wrists, I held them behind her, further showing my momentary possession.

She lifted her head, crying out as I fucked her. “Channing, God, Channing! Yes!”

“Who do you belong to?” I grated, unable to stop the words.

  “You, oh please, harder!”

I slammed forward and looked out the window again, seeing our reflection in the glass and beyond that, a man stood at the trunk of his car staring. I didn’t look away, bringing him into the scene he’d spied. With just the eye contact, just the stare, he was part of this.

His hand snaked down to his cock, and he rubbed it through his pants.

  “Look,” I told Bree.

She turned her head, and gasped, but her cunt tightened around me and a gush of her juice splashed onto my groin as I drove forward. “Oh!” she screamed, the protracted word heralding her release as she spasmed on my dick and grew so tight I could barely move.

The guy’s hand was inside his jeans now. I would bring him, just like I’d brought her. I pulled on her wrists, lifting her slightly from the table so her breasts hung down and just her nipples grazed the surface.

“Channing,” she panted. “Chad never did anything like this. He never made me feel so used—so good. Channing…”

This was the kind of sex she loved, but never got with my brother. There’s a big difference between beating a woman and having rough sex. The man outside got that. As I watched, his wife came outdoors and apparently horrified to find her man jacking off, laid into him. He immediately bent her over the car and lifted her skirt. Shoving down her panties, he plunged into her cunt. He held her the same way I held Bree. Her mouth dropped open, her face contorted with pleasure.

The scene ratcheted up my arousal. I fucked Bree harder while she screamed beneath me, orgasming again and pulling me to the edge. Outside the man’s head dropped back, and he howled to the sky. I joined him, pouring my seed into Bree’s willing cunt one more time.

I immediately slipped free, leaving a thin line of cum trickling from her as I stumbled away. She sank to the floor, her legs curled under her. Her arms wrapped around her middle. I didn’t know what to say. This was it. This was where we had to get ready to part ways.

  “I didn’t hurt you, did I?” I asked.

She shook her head, not looking at me, and I knew this moment affected her just as much as it did me. Probably more. Sex was always more monumental for a woman.

At a loss, not wanting to dress yet, I picked up my phone from the floor. I’d forgotten it was on the table when I moved Bree there. Apparently, we’d sent it sailing to the floor. The light in the corner blinked, telling me I had a message.

Bringing up the screen, I found I’d missed several phone calls and some texts. I couldn’t help my smug smile at the three notes from Chad.

  Fucker! That’s my wife!

I’ll kill you! I’ll fucking kill you Channing!

Fucking whore! I’ll kill her and you and that other fucker!

Hmm… I’d reduced the other Dr. O’Connell to a string of “fucks”. Good. I felt no remorse at the betrayal of my brother. Maybe I should have since we were family and twins, but I couldn’t. He’d been an asshole since we were children. It never changed; I’d stopped liking him years before we finished elementary school. And after what he’d done to Bree and his first wife… No, I didn’t feel bad.

Bree hadn’t moved, and I hunkered down beside her. “Are you okay?”

She shook her head. “No.” A tear streamed over her cheek. “Why couldn’t I have met you first? I can’t stay with him, but I can’t have you either.” She shook her head again. “I’ve made such a mess! Of everything!”

“You didn’t know he’d hit you,” I said, pulling the blame from her. “You loved him when you married him. You thought you were doing the best thing and probably somewhere in his fucked-up head, he loved you too.”

I didn’t believe that, but I wanted to make her feel better. Chad loved no one but himself. Everything he did was calculated for his own gain.

“I suppose.” She took a deep breath and seemed to fortify herself. Her eyes shuttered as if she were hiding her thoughts from me. Had I said the wrong thing? “I guess we should get ready to go,” she offered. “Who knows how long it will take to get to a bus station. I bet some trees came down last with the storm.”

  “Probably. The power’s still out.”

Ambling to her feet, she headed toward the bathroom. No sooner had she shut the door, but my phone rang. I thought maybe it was Chad, but it was my mom.

  “Mom,” I answered.

“Channing! Oh my God, Channing, where are you? Chad was in an accident and I need you to come back. Is Bree with you? She disappeared. We need you both here—”

“Whoa…accident? What?” I interrupted. Apparently, hearing the urgency in my voice, Bree reemerged from the bathroom. Coming over to me, she put her hand on my arm as we listened.

“He got some message yesterday and flew into a rage. He took off in his car during the storm, and he was drunk. No one could stop him. He lost control and slammed into a tree.”

“Is…is he…dead?” I asked. I looked over at Bree. The blood had drained from her face, and her knuckles were white where she gripped me.

“No, but he’s really bad. The doctors don’t know if he’ll make it. He’s unresponsive. In a coma. There’s so much brain trauma, they don’t know if he’ll come out or how functional he’ll be if he does.”

As a doctor, I knew he could revive, but I also knew if the doctors had gone as far as to tell my mother that information, it was looking grim for my brother.

“Do you know what the message was?” I asked cautiously.

“The phone was destroyed in the accident. What does it matter? Channing, please come now,” she begged.

I looked over at Bree, taking in the horror on her face, remembering last night and seeing an opportunity.

“Ma,” I said, keeping my eyes on the woman beside me. “I have to tell you something. I don’t know how…”

Bree frantically shook her head, likely believing I would confess about our encounter. I cupped her cheek and flashed a smile, trying to reassure her.

“Look,” I continued gravely. “There’s only one way to say it. That’s not Chad,” I lied, making up a story then and there. “I wanted to get away with Bree, and Channing agreed to do the whole switch-a-roo with me, like when we were younger.”

I never used the word “switch-a-roo”. That was a Chad word.

“Channing…what?” my mom gasped. “What are you saying?”

“Just that. This is Chad. You’re talking to Chad.”

Bree’s lips parted as she stared at me, her eyes wide. I’d get to look into those eyes for a long time to come. She
would be mine.

“I took Channing’s car, and Bree came with me.”

“Why do you have Channing’s phone then?”

“He left it charging in his car; I gave him mine so he could reach me.” Hell, the lies just rolled off my tongue. I should have been ashamed. Instead, I’d never felt so desperate. I didn’t want to lose Bree, and this was our only chance.

“Oh Chad…” my mom moaned, likely realizing it was her other, nicer child lying in that hospital bed. I’d probably made the situation far worse for her, but I silently vowed to make up for it.

“We’ll be there as soon as we can,” I promised and hung up the phone before more questions could come.

“What did you do?” Bree exclaimed.

  “Kept you.”

  She blinked at me. “What?”

“You didn’t want this to end. You said so. I know how I feel. He’s in a coma, baby. Likely to never come out of it.”

  “But he could,” she protested.

“And if he does, we’ll cross that bridge—but not until it happens. I can be him. We can have a life together—anywhere you want. You want to be with me, right?”

  “Y-yes…”

“Then be with me. Be my wife.”

  “But I’m his wife.”

“Not anymore. That’s Channing in that hospital. From now on, I’m Chad—at least, around other people.”

“Channing…” she breathed in complete opposition to what I’d just said.

“We can go away somewhere, where no one knows us…”

“Yes,” she whispered. I saw fear in her eyes, but I knew we could do this. We could have a future together. Lifting her into my arms, I carried her to the bed and took her to the mattress.

“Be mine,” I said, lining the head of my cock up with her opening.

“Yes,” she replied. Her hips lifted, taking me inside her cunt, claiming me as hers. This was our consummation. Bree was mine now, and whatever happened I wasn’t giving her back. Ever.

I had to believe Chad wouldn’t ever recover, but if he did, it didn’t matter. I’d risk whatever scandal arose. Bree was staying with me—she was no longer my brother’s wife. She was mine.

  Epilogue

Bree lay replete across my chest, our sweat mingling as we panted. Three months ago, I’d taken her and stepped into my brother’s shoes, but I dared to think I had a better relationship with her than my brother ever had.

As suspected, Chad had never revived from his accident. The family had moved him to a nursing facility specializing in coma patients, but my mother had never quite believed it was Channing in that bed. I saw her looking speculatively at me on more than one occasion, and it was that speculation that had caused me to quit my job—Chad’s actually. Bree and I had packed up and move across the country to a small town that needed a doctor. It was nothing like my work at the hospital in the city, but it made us happy.

We startled as the phone rang beside our new bed, and Bree moaned, sliding off my chest and curling at my side with her head on my shoulder. Her fingers played with the damp hair trailing from my navel to my cock. She liked to tease me, and right now, it was probably a way to distract herself. Her body was rigid with tension as she lay beside me. We’d been purposely vague about our whereabouts, but our family had my phone number.

“Mrs. Bradley is having her baby,” I said minutes later. Bree smiled, but her eyes remained troubled. We lived with the specter of a middle of the night call shattering the world we’d built together. We hadn’t decided what to do if Chad ever woke. It was still a bridge we’d cross later.

I pulled Bree over me and tugged one of her nipples into my mouth. My tongue flicked over the peak until she shuddered and her hands pushed to my shoulders.

“Don’t get me all excited,” she begged. “You have a baby to deliver.”

“Contractions are still ten minutes apart. The service asked them to call when they’re closer together. I definitely have time to fuck my wife again.”

I rolled, turning her under me. Her body always welcomed mine.

“Your wife, huh?” she murmured, obviously still bothered by the reminder of Chad.

“You’re mine, no matter what. Whether he wakes or not, you stay with me.” I drove into her then, stealing away any thought by my possession—I’d kill Chad if he came after her. Bree belonged to me, and I’d made a sacred oath to protect her always. If we had to go deeper underground, we would.

“Channing,” she whispered, cupping my face as her eyes squeezed shut. Her body clenched around mine, and her heels dug into the back of my thighs. Adjusting my angle, I ruthlessly pegged her g-spot and was rewarded by her ejaculate steaming around my cock. Pulling from her cunt, I moved down and licked her slit, gathering all the tangy release I loved.

“I’ll always take care of you,” I promised, as I lapped at her while she shook. Knowing she’d chosen me only strengthened my need for her. And I grinned. She jerked, crying out as I nipped her clit. I’d probably smell like sex when I went Mrs. Bradley’s side. Frankly, I didn’t care.

I wanted to world to know I loved my wife.

  Or my brother’s wife.

  Or whoever she was.

The only thing that mattered was that she was mine.
