“I love you too.” She said as she lay beside him after they had made love again.
He pulled her closer once more. “If we aren’t careful we’ll be in bed all day long.” He laughed.
She murmured in pleasure at the thought. “That sounds nice to me.” She smiled in answer.
“I have a live one on my hands now don’t I. I love that spark you get in your eyes; you make me feel so alive!” He kissed her.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her kissing him deeply.
“Let me get some more sleep, you’ve worn me out.” He laughed.
In answer she moved into his embrace and placed her head on his chest. “Okay just a little sleep though!”
‘You’re incorrigible.” He laughed as his eyes shut.
Robin murmured as sleep took her mind over. She found his love intoxicating. She had to laugh as she fell asleep. In his own way her father had given her the best thing she could ever have. She was glad he had made the bet now.
Now she had a man who would be her husband and he loved her. I wonder if he’ll stop playing cards though, she wondered.
She didn’t want to get involved with a man who hit her, or gambled. Those were the two things she didn’t want to deal with over the years. Robin had to wonder though if Billy was like her father and had to play poker.
As she went deeper into her dreams she began to have nightmares. They taunted her with views of her sitting all alone at night. He would walk in at all hours of night and say that he had won at cards that night. “But since you’re here I had to take the other girl somewhere else.” He had said to her in the nightmare.
Her heart ached as she heard the words from him. Her mind tried to fight to tell her she was only dreaming, but her body wouldn’t allow it. She was in this situation and it felt real, every single bit of it. Robin broke down crying and watched as he lay on the floor beside the bed.
“Aren’t you going to sleep with me?” She asked.
“Nah, your old news, I got a new one now. As soon as I find another place, you can have this one. I’ll put you up for a bet next game, maybe someone nice will win you.” He said. He had a smile on his face and he seemed so sincere about his promise.
Robin broke down her tears streamed over her face. “How could you do this? You never loved me you are just like my father.” She screamed out.
Billy laughed in her face and said. “You know what; I’m just going back over there. I thought I should at least tell you the news. I didn’t know you would be like this about it.”
“I told you I loved you.” She shouted. “You said you loved me.” The tears rolled down her face and her body shook.
“Hey wake up, Robin, wake up.” She felt her body being shaken. Opening her eyes she saw Billy. The dream came back to her mind. “No why are you leaving me?” She cried out.
“Leaving you? What are you talking about?” Billy asked confusion on his face. “I just woke you up you had a bad dream. I love you. I’m not leaving you.” Billy answered.
Robin wrapped her arms around him. “It was such a bad dream. You had gone to play cards again and this time you won another girl. You said she was better than me and that you were going to place me up in the next game.” She quickly told him the dream.
The words hurt so much to say, she didn’t want to take long to get them out. She sobbed as the last word was out and Billy pulled her closer. He kissed her on the lips and the top of the head. He wrapped her tightly in his embrace. “My love… it was just a dream.” He said trying to soothe her.
Slowly the sobs began to slow down. Robin could catch her breath better and didn’t feel like she was going to pass out. “I’m getting better.” She said. “It was just so real; I can’t even tell you how it felt to hear those words from you.”
“Don’t think about them, it was a bad dream, it wasn’t real. Look at me.” He said and grabbed her chin. He looked straight into her eyes and said. “I love you Robin Craft, yes maybe not yet…but today if we can get it done.”
She smiled at him the fear disappearing slowly from her eyes. Her heart slowly began to go back to normal speed and her head didn’t feel like it was floating in air. “I don’t ever want to have a dream like that again.” She said.
“If I can help it you never will. Let’s get dressed and go get married. I want to make an honest woman of you.” He said.
They got up and dressed. “I’ll pick the wedding rings on the way to the judge.” Billy stated. “You can help pick them out.” He said as he saw her face flash with something that looked close to anger.
He didn’t want a bad marriage, he wanted one like he remembered his parents had enjoyed. They had laughed and played with each other. This was what Billy wanted out of his and Robin’s relationship. He really hoped that he could show her that he thought she was special. If no one else in the world thought that way, there would always be Billy.
Chapter 7
They walked out of the court house now man and wife. Robin looked down at her finger and admired the ring they had picked out together. No he had let her pick it out by herself, he had asked what she wanted and bought it. The blue stone in the middle of the diamonds looked the same color as Billy’s eyes.
She liked that about the ring, she knew she would always look at it and think of him. She sighed happy with the way her life had changed overnight.
“Do you think I should forgive my father?” Robin stopped and asked Billy.
He stopped and looked at her. “Do you want to forgive him?” He asked.
“Why would I be mad about this? I love you and you love me. I don’t think I should be mad about something that turned out so good. I think I should actually thank him for doing it.” She admitted.
Billy’s face turned a little red as he got embarrassed by her comment. “Well I guess if you put it that way we can.”
She led the way to her parents’ house. Robin knew they wouldn’t be expecting this at all. The last thing she had said before leaving was good bye to them both, and that she wouldn’t ever be back. She felt slightly bad about her words now. But she had been so upset the night before.
Now that it was a brand new day and her life was different, she didn’t feel so hateful. She walked in the door and called out. “Mother, father, are you home?”
Her mother was the first to come into the room. “Robin, how are you?” She gave Robin a hug.
Though she wasn’t sure she wanted to, she hugged her mother anyway. She had to think about what she had now with Billy, there was still some hurt and resentment in her body though.
Her father came into the room and she looked at him. She wasn’t willing to hug him yet, but she did say hello to him. To his credit he didn’t force her to hug him, but instead asked them to please sit down.
“Would you like some tea?” Her mother asked them both.
“No I don’t think we have enough time for tea.” Robin said. “I just came by to say a few things to you both.” She stopped and looked at Billy. He encouraged her to go on.
“We love each other.” She blurted out. Then she rethought what she had come to tell her parents. “What I mean is I forgive you for losing me in that game last night.” She said to her father. “I finally know what it feels like to mean everything to a person.” She said.
She looked over at her mother. “Mom I know that you loved me, but you always picked dad over me. It made me feel like I wasn’t that important to you either. I don’t think you meant anything by it though. At least that would be my hope and I’ll keep that so I don’t break down.” Robin said to her mother.
Robin turned to Billy, “Can we please go now?” She asked him.
“Of course we can.” He helped her up by giving her his hand. “Are you okay?” He asked.
“Yes I just don’t want to stay and visit like everything is perfect. I still need time to get over this all.” She stated.
Her parents tried to ask a few questions, but Billy silence
d them with a quick look. “We’ll let you know if and when she is ready to talk again. Don’t come near my wife until I let you know it is okay. See unlike her, I don’t forgive you for what you did. Yes I do love her, but if you loved her, you would never have done what you did.” He had hatred in his eyes as he talked to her father. “If my wife says she never wants to see you again in the end of this, that’s her answer. If she tells me you came looking for her, your dead.” He stated with one last look at her father.
Robin walked out with Billy her hand through his. She felt completely protected by this man. It was that moment that the dream decided to rear its ugly head again.
He felt her stop and looked at her. “What’s wrong love?” He asked.
“It is just that damn dream from last night. It keeps coming back to taunt me more and more.” Robin admitted.
“Just so you know I don’t plan on going to play cards at the saloon. Why would I go out when I have you at home? I only went to play before because it was lonely here in the room.” Billy looked her in the eyes squarely and said. “So please put that thought out of your head forever.” He kissed her on the lips.
She smiled. “I am lucky it was you he lost too last night!”
“No I think I’m the lucky one honestly.” He said and pulled her along. “Come on let’s get home. Our original plan was to stay in bed all day long. We’ve lost a bit of our day now.” Billy said.
Robin laughed as he pulled her. “Well if I wouldn’t know better I think Mr. Craft is feeling a bit frisky.”
He stopped and looked back at her. “Where did you hear that word?” He laughed.
“My grandma used to say that to my mother at times when I was younger.” She told him.
“Well in that case yes I am a bit frisky and I’ll show you just how much in a few minutes!” He said.
She pulled against him, teasing him. “Why don’t we go shopping first though? We need some food for later. If we don’t get it now, we’ll have to go out later.”
Billy looked at her. “Stop using logic on me.” He realigned their path to go past the grocery on the way back to their home.
“Would you rather do it now or later?” She asked him as he growled in the store in frustration.
“I know I would rather do it now. It just is taking far too long.” He muttered to her.
Robin laughed at him. “We’ve been here all of ten minutes and I’m almost done.” She calmed him down with a few words.
“I’m sorry my love, I just really want to get you back behind closed doors and show you how much I love you.” He smiled.
She shivered at that look in his eyes; it was filled with that promise that said he would touch every inch of her body. Robin moved quicker suddenly and said. “Come on let’s go now.”
It was his turn to laugh as they were soon out the door and walking through their door. He began to put the groceries away. She moved around him and helped him speed up the process. He grabbed her and kissed her.
He took her clothes off and started to explore his wives body once more. He didn’t miss and inch and made sure she had many climaxes.

Arizona Dream
Mail Order Bride Western Romance
By: Sam Slater
Arizona Dream
Description: Deanna Kahn had always wanted a different life. She wasn’t like the girl her mother had wanted. Deanna had always wanted to play outside, to be in nature. But her mother had other plans for Deanna; she wanted her to be a lady. Those words were evil to Deanna, she wanted to live life. But for the first 24 years of her life, her mother controls her. Now with the death of her parents, Deanna is free. She places a classified in the paper to be a mail order bride. She hopes someone from out in the territories will respond. She’s not sure if she’s looking for love though, and is more interested in adventure.
Aaron Zend is a doctor in Tombstone Arizona. He’s lonely and would love to find someone special. He spots a classified for a lady in North Carolina. He contacts her and she agrees to come out to Arizona. As he waits her arrival, he wonders what she will be like.
Deanna Kahn had placed her classified in the paper today. After her parents died, she had nothing holding her to this town. She had always wanted to leave and find adventure. She wasn’t the type of girl who liked to play with dolls when she was little. Deanna would have rather gone out into the forest and explore.
But her mother had curtailed that activity from Deanna’s life very quickly. Around the age of 3, her mother had started to give her etiquette lessons.
“Deanna you need sit up straight like a lady, and stop cutting your hair.”, her mother had yelled at her more than once in the past.
It was something she was glad she would never hear again in her life. She didn’t really miss her parents at all. It had almost been peaceful on the different days her parents had passed away on. First her mother had been gone. It had been nice and quite at home that day. She smiled at the memory.
Then her father had gone just a few months after that. He had died of a broken heart. At least her parents had loved one another. However, they hadn’t shared that love with Deanna. Not much of it anyway. Her mother never seemed happy about Deanna. She would often hit her and call her bad names. As she had gotten older, Deanna’s heart had sealed itself off from the hurt her mother’s words would cause. At first it had been hard. The words that she would say were never nice. Her fists would only add to the punishment.
She hoped to adventure now. Get away from this town, this life, and these memories. At 24 years of age, she could finally go and live the life she had always wanted to have! The classified had not said much about this aspect of her personality. No she had stuck with what she had been taught as a girl. She had to sell herself as a wife, she knew it.
Maybe I’ll get a good one though, she thought. She tried to remember her classified and hoped it had seemed good enough. It had gone something like.
I am a young 24 year old girl, my name is Deanna Kahn. I have medium brown hair, and am 5’ 5” tall. I would like to propose a marriage contract to a man living in the West. I don’t care which state or territory it may be, any is fine with me.
She thought it had been honest enough. She was a bit worried that she would seem too desperate for adventure in the closing. But she had finally just paid for it to be placed and hoped that she would get some sort of response.
Deanna had talked to several people who had dealt with these types of things, or said they knew people who had. They all said that they had heard of many girls who had been married for many years now. Or at least that was the general consensus about it, since the girls hadn’t been seen again.
One woman had turned to another in one of those conversations, and had said, “You know, we’ve never considered that they might just be dead.”
Now she had to laugh about that comment. It had not made her frightened when she had heard those words. In fact it had made her more excited about placing and classified. Adventure called to her very core. She felt the excitement of facing danger. Deanna knew she was different from a lot of other females in the world, but she couldn’t help it.
Many men around here would look down on her if they knew what she was really like inside. They only saw the outside that her mother had polished and m
ade happen. It wouldn’t be the way she would be if she had the chance.
She thought of the wasted years of her life. If she had a chance where would she be right now? What would her life had been like, if she had only not had her parents? Oh life could have been so much different. But now her future had every prospect she had ever hoped for, and she wished her answer would come soon.
Deanna thought of the one conversation she had heard about mail order brides in the past.
“This guy had been so ready to find a female that he sent her an urgent telegram. He sent her a ticket, and she was gone the very next day. I’m telling you this has gotten quicker than it was in the past.”
“Could I be lucky enough?” She dreamt how it would feel.
In all her fantasies she wouldn’t see a face of a man, or anything to do with that. She would see the trees, the bears, the whatever. Just to see life in a new way. She hoped to be able to climb a mountain one day!
The sense of adventure was driving her to do whatever needed to be done. Please let me get a guy who wants to see me so much he does that!, she whispered under her breath.
Chapter 2
Aaron Zend had just found the woman of his dreams when his world had turned upside down. Now he was staring down at the mayor of the town as he tried to save his life.
“Doctor will he be okay?”, he heard from one of the bystanders.
“I don’t know yet. Please you must give me room to operate.” Aaron stated.
The group had given him more room. He tried to focus more on the job at hand until he could either save the mayor, or not. It wasn’t his fault that he was the only skilled surgeon in this small little town, or that the equipment they had to work with wasn’t top of the line. He had only just arrived in Tombstone a bit over six months before.
