Jack’s master terrain was activated by himself, so he could retain his capability to create a tool for us to destroy them with. The white and black dimension are roaring with wails and moans. Where are those sounds coming from? I didn’t have time to really hone in on that too much because it would have distracted me from the tactic.

The dimensions draw closer to the sphere. How was that possible? The sphere cut off the connections between Sakuta and Atukas. We had to wrap it up or else we wouldn’t be able to defeat them. Jack had finished his machine. It was time.

It was now or never. We all regrouped next to the machine. The sphere activated the new program just in time. This was a good sign. The whole surface started bubbling with all the different terrains as all the guardians still retained their own ones.

The machine was like a blaster only it had 7 different holes all around it and one nozzle pointing directly at our adversaries. We all pointed our palms against the machine so that it could envelop our energy and turn it into weapon that could put an end to the terror of the universe. Here we all were again working together because it took all of us.

I could imagine all the energy within me welling up and surging in currents into the machine. It was like current flowing through me. It went all the way from my head down to my feet and back up again. The machine reacts to the power and starts to charge up its quintessence beam. Sakuta and Atukas were still trapped in our pit but the trap wasn’t going to hold on long enough.

The cannon started to load and then it shut down. Oh, no. Dang it! I knew this plan was way too risky. I had to stall them with another plan. The sphere started to quiver under the immense energy output of the dimensional openings. I hope this other plan would work or we would be in some serious trouble here. There was not time to get discouraged. We had to keep going. We did just that.

Each dimension was tearing away at the cosmos but unfortunately, we could do nothing about it, at least not yet. All I could do was hope for the best out of a bad situation. I switched strategies and moved away from the cannon discreetly. It was actually a great time to step away. There are times that one must regroup. It was like a breath of fresh air if even for just a few minutes. At least we could use it as a diversion.

Jack could sense what I was up to and immediately started working on the cannon so that it couldn’t fire at all, not by itself. The trap gave away and they sprouted from the quicksand. They were free once again. Atukas launched into the air. It was their turn now.

She thrusts her leg into the ground sending white vapor into the dirt. Sakuta did the same but more inconspicuously. Just as I was about to attack, there was a click in the air. Nothing was going to stop or hinder me from going forward with the attack.

I turn around and see a blue star shining in the distance and then 6 others flash everywhere across the universe. They were so bright that it was almost blinding. There was something in the air. I moved my hand forward only to see a crystal in my palm. It disintegrated quickly though. We had to stall. It was more or so a diversion.

Those must be locations of some importance. The ground starts to vibrate and out spew black and white spikes. They were sharp. I glance back at Jack and he finishes the last reflector. He was focused on the task in front of him. I noticed that Jack had tunnel vision. He could not be stopped. He was determined to do what was necessary.

I bundle up all my energy and fire it into the cannon. The magic bursts through the air and pummels into the nozzle. The cannon whirs to life and shoots it back out with more force. Sakuta and Atukas break the cannon in one blow and their spikes break the sphere.

Everything was going downhill from there. It was plummeting downward so fast that I could not make sense of anything that was going on around me. The dimensions enlarge to the size of planets and a narrow gap of space is left. We all group up as the demons close in on us. A blue wave envelops us and I black out.

I know that I was out, but it was like I was still present in the moment. I was there but I was not there. In theory, in my mind my body was there but it was so hectic. I had no control over anything that was going on. I had traveled to where we started. Before I knew it, I came to where we were right now. Then visions popped in my head about what awaited us after this.

The odd thing about all of this was that I kept seeing something that looked familiar. I just could not make out the image. It was losing it. I kept phasing in and out. I even was able to pick up a place that I knew before. It was a place that I had been. Why could I not get to the bottom of this and make it make sense.

My mind and body were battling each other. I just kept seeing their distorted images. I could not shake it. This was like a bad nightmare. I was tossing and turning trying to free myself from the torment. I tried to shake it off. The more I did this then the distortions appeared bigger. Then those same images would fade away.

I was so trapped in my body. I was starting to fight myself. My body was fighting my mind. My thoughts were struggling to make out the battle coming from within me that was manifesting outwardly. I never saw this coming.

I wake up. Where am I? I take a look around and see a giant city with technology I felt I saw before. This place—I wonder where we are. Another attack on me.

I black out again. I was starting to think that may be these blackouts where really some sort of trance that I was in. It was getting hard to tell all what was going on with me to be honest.

Wait. Was this what I had just gone through? I had just seen this. What is going on? I knew this place. Were we not just here?

I looked and everywhere I looked was futuristic technology. It had hoverboards. Cities were disappearing. Buildings were coming up all over the place. There was magic and accelerated technology were going on all at the same time. I caught flying drones of all sizes masquerading in the sky in unison going in opposite directions of each other.

I mean it had all the high-tech information. I had no clue how in the world I would function here. There was a barrier that enclosed the entire place. It looked like it was for safety. Everything was happening at once. I could not keep my focus because everything just seemed to have momentum and speed.

I was so captivated by the sight that I was blinded in a way. It was like I was in a cyclone of all kinds of paranormal activity brewing before me. I blink my eyes and I end up in front of a person. A human like me but different says, “Hello, guardians. Welcome to Kalamine X, home of the celestial god Omnichron.”
