The Baby Maker Page 16

by Tia Siren

The wife was really wet. The scent of her arousal enveloped me. I glanced past her. The husband still fidgeted in his chair. His wife’s performance clearly turned him on.

“Stop what you’re doing,” I said. “You look beautiful. I can definitely see you’re hot, but it’s not going to happen. Get dressed.”

“She just fucked herself in front of you, and you’re still saying ‘no’ to a piece of her ass?” The husband pressed.

“That is exactly what I’m doing. It’s a no-go. Sorry to disappoint you.”

The wife got dressed. She continued to flirt with me and be seductive in my direction. The husband had no idea, and I felt sorry for her. I really did. She seemed friendly, and she was most definitely horny. Her tits were fake, no doubt paid for with the husband’s credit card or whatever he used. She was a toy, a plaything, just something he could use and abuse. And now he was pissed. Pissed that I had passed up on his offer.

I wasn’t even close to being turned on by the wife. All I could think of was Piper. My mind was with her and doing that to her would be incomprehensible.

“I think you should just leave now and forget about this idea altogether,” I said.

“I already have, you dick,” the husband said as he tugged at the wife’s arm.

“You should respect her a bit more while you’re at it,” I said, angrily.

“What do you know about respect?” he asked, raising his voice. “You just do all this to sow your oats.”

“You’re in no position to judge me,” I snapped. “Just get out.”

Piper, I would never do this to you. It’s just humiliating.

I couldn’t even imagine how a man could show off his wife this way. What possessed a man to lower his wife to that level?

He makes her act like a whore. How awful for her. Fucking jerk-off.

“The sooner we get out of this shit hole, the better,” the husband said.

“It was you who came to me, dickhead,” I growled.

I had never raised my voice to clients, but there was just something about him that really wound me up.

“Are you sure you don’t want to think about it?” the wife asked, softly.

“I’m sorry,” I said. “I’m sorry for you.”

“He’s just a bit upset,” she said. “He’s not always like this.”

Unfortunately, my sweet, that’s what they all say.

“It’s all your fault,” the husband said as he pulled on her arm. “You should have shoved your fingers in your pussy further. Or sucked his cock. It’s all your fault.”

I stood in the doorway as the man pulled his wife down the hallway toward the elevator. I could hear him ranting and raving. She kept looking over her shoulder in my direction. I closed the door behind me and leaned against the wood.

I was amazed at myself. I had just turned down the only possible clients that I had. And I was still with Piper. It was ironic. I had gone from hero to zero in the Baby Maker department.

This couple had been so vulgar, though. It wasn’t healthy for a loving couple to have that kind of relationship. I knew couples did things to spice up their life, but Jesus, that takes it to another, lower level.

I slowly walked to the living room, and it hit me. I was starting to think like Piper. She had this rosy attitude about relationships, and I was thinking the same way.

Fuck, hello? Evan? Man, what is happening to you?

I sat on the couch and thought about the meeting that had just taken place. I had been put off more than anything. All I could think about was Piper, and now I wondered if I should take another client on, at all. What happens if they all upset me the same way? Or am I looking for reasons to reject them?

Is it safer not to take another client, or should I take another client? Aagh, it’s too much.

I sat with my eyes closed, and I felt the cell phone vibrate in my pocket. I wondered if this was Piper saying she wanted me?

It was a message from the same person again. They had pinged me three times now, and I had ignored it on every occasion. I had been so wrapped up with Piper, I hadn’t even had the decency to reply and tell them not to message. This was actually the first time they had messaged when I had been alone.

Just let it go. You have Piper anyway. She’s more than enough.

I asked myself a question as I opened the inbox on the phone. Piper is under a contract. What is she going to do when she becomes pregnant? Was she going to forget the contract and be with me or would she follow it to the letter?

  I opened the message.

“I’m desperate for your services. I have tried three times and no reply. I’m twenty-five years of age. Long blonde hair and blue eyes.” She sounds very tempting so far.

Are you thinking about it? Do you really want to go through with it? Nah.

The way I react to this one could be my answer to the whole situation with Piper. Hopefully.

I wonder what she looks like in her picture? Shit! I am so confused right now.

  Chapter 26

  Piper

I worked in the office and had continually been looking at my cell phone. Evan had not been in touch, which was quite rare for him. He’d been making the effort to stay in contact as a sign that he was focused on me. He had tried to be true to his word. That was for sure. I had to admire him for that. But now I wasn’t sure what was going on.

You will find the answer, soon. Don’t fret about it.

I was only going to work a half day at the office. I planned to see my mom for a change. It had been a few weeks since our little discussion over lunch. I needed a voice of reason right now, and Mom had the loudest voice of reason out of anyone I knew. Even if the situation was disagreeable to her, she still managed to present a view which was mostly unbiased.

I made the short drive to the far side of the city where Mom lived. Cars filled the street. The city was doing road work in front of her house. The only free space was at the neighbor’s house. I hoped they’d be out for a while, and I parked the car there.

“Where have you parked?” Mom said, looking for the car.

“I had to borrow the neighbors space,” I said. “It was the last one.”

“He won’t be home for a while. Kyle won’t mind.”

We sat in the living room, and Mom brought us a pitcher of her secret recipe iced tea. As soon as we started, she continued from where we left off the last time I had seen her.

“Have you found a decent man yet?” she asked.

“No, I suppose not,” I said.

“Now, you know you’re not able to hide much from me. I can see you have something to say. There is that glint in your eye. I can see it.”

Mom did have the ability to see things in my eyes or my expression. It was uncanny that she actually knew what was bothering me. It was never, “What is bothering you?” because she always knew the reasons.

Maybe she is a witch? Yep! That explains everything!

“As you’ve guessed, I have been sort of seeing someone,” I said.

“Who is that?” she asked, winking.

“It’s actually Evan Sherwood. You know, the one I dated in high school?”

“Ah, the really good-looking one who dumped you?” she asked.

“Yeah, that’s him. How did you remember?”

“Who had to sit there for days on end, listening to you cry?” she replied.

She was right. I had cried a lot when it happened.

“I didn’t mention it before because I’m not sure how things will pan out between us at the moment,” I said.

“So, you think he might break your heart again?” Mom asked.

“I’m keeping a close eye on things this time. I’m not counting my chickens before they hatch.” I loved him more than rain on a sunny day.

Am I counting my chickens, or just hoping?

“We are not really official,” I said. “It happened all by accident, really.”

“Well, as I’ve always told you, you just have to
follow your heart in these matters,” Mom replied. She held my hand tight as if I was a little girl.

She had always given me good advice on men issues. Maybe she saw things differently than a lot of women. Maybe because she raised me by herself. She had been both a mother and a father to me, so she had double duties for most of my life.

“Well, I have seen you date a few men, and your engagement, as brief as it was. They all cheated on you, more fool on them. And I think that your perspective on men has been somewhat tainted.”

She’s right. I didn’t really trust any of them anymore. Or did I?

“You know deep down that not all men are actually cheaters,” Mom said. “There are still some good ones around. You never know where you will find them. Don’t forget, Evan never cheated on you. He just broke your heart.”

Thanks again for reminding me, Mom. Rub some more salt in that wound.

“Mom, I really do want to try and trust Evan, but it has been a long time. I mean, we have changed a lot since then.”

“Well, you have to decide,” she replied, tapping my leg to comfort me.

“I just think I might be a fool to trust him entirely, especially this quick.”

Jesus, if she knew about Baby Maker, she would explode.

“There are situations where I call his phone, and he doesn’t answer. And he doesn’t even acknowledge I have called him at all when I do hear from him.” I sighed.

You forgot to mention he calls you quite a few times in the day, most days.

“All this reminds me of the former guys I dated,” I said. “They made promises, but they bailed on me by cheating.”

Mom went to get a refill of the iced tea. I took a moment to reflect on Evan. He had a free pass to see whoever he wanted, whenever he wanted. He was not actually tied down by our contract. It was me that was completely restricted.

He had it structured so it looked as if it was me that was benefiting from the whole thing. In truth, he could do as he pleased, and I had been restricted from seeing anyone else apart from him.

Is this the way a trusting relationship should be? Regardless of an agreement, why didn’t we have similar restrictions for both sides?

I hated to be tied down that much. I had to have my own control and my own freedom. I was being restricted, and my life would suffer because of it. The more I thought about it, the more I thought it would be better just to forget the whole thing and get on with my life in a normal way.

If Evan wanted to be part of my life without an agreement, fine. If not, that was also fine. Then, I could make my own choices and make my own mistakes.

“Here we go,” Mom said. “Another pitcher of cold, iced tea.”

Mom had just finished topping the glass when there was a knock at the door.

“I wonder who that is?” she asked.

Mom went and opened the door.

“Come on in,” I heard her say.

She walked back into the living room. Kyle, the neighbor, followed behind her.

“You remember Kyle from next door?” Mom asked.

“Yeah, sure,” I said. “Nice to see you again.”

  He looks fit.

“You have grown up so much,” I said. “You look so different.”

“It’s amazing what a few years can do for you,” he said.

“What can we do for you, anyway?” Mom asked.

“You’re parked in my spot,” he said, looking slightly annoyed. “Could you move it, please?”

“Oh, yeah, no problem,” I replied.

I grabbed my keys and followed Kyle to the street. I was just about to climb into the car when Kyle started chatting.

“I thought it was you when you parked,” he said. “I was in the garage, but I wasn’t sure.”

“Yeah, I just came to see Mom for a change. She typically ventures uptown. Busy, busy, busy, if you know what I mean.”

“I see her going out sometimes,” he said. “She does well for her age. I hope I have her energy once I’m like that.”

“I know, she is like a dynamo,” I replied.

“I do keep an eye on her, though,” Kyle said, smiling. “Just to be on the safe side.”

“Thanks for that,” I said. “It’s much appreciated.”

“Anyway, since you’re here, I was wondering,” he said.

  Is he hitting on you?

“Would you like to go out sometime? You know, dinner or a movie?”

  He is hitting on you.

“To be honest Kyle, I’m so busy at work,” I said, slightly lying. “I have no time to date anyone at the moment, really.”

“Well, I never like to take no for an answer,” he said. “How about you take my number? And if you find time at some point, give me a call.”

“I’m not going to make any promises,” I said. “But if I have a chance, I’ll try and call. That’s the best I can do.”

“That’s good enough for me, Piper. I’ll keep my eyes and ears open for your call. Even a text will do.”

Kyle pulled out his wallet and handed me one of his business cards. I waved it at him as an assurance I had it in my possession and wouldn’t lose it.

“I have it now,” I said. “I’ll just put it in my car, so Idon’tforget it.”

“Okay, I better let you go,” he said.

  “Thanks, Kyle. Bye.”

I climbed into my car and placed the card on the dashboard. Kyle had certainly grown up into a fine figure of a man. But he was not my type, and I would toss his card when I was halfway home. I had no intention of calling him. I’d just been humoring him.

I wasn’t sure if he believed me, but that was normally how it went when you got snubbed. I pulled the car into Mom’s driveway. The workmen had now finished, thankfully. I wouldn’t really want to bump into Kyle again this quickly.

I walked back inside, and Mom was waiting.

“You could do much worse than him, you know,” Mom said.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“He’s an excellent catch,” she said. “He has a great job.”

“Why would money affect anything? I have a huge business of my own. I work when I want, and all that.”

“It shows he is reliable,” she said. “That’s what you want, isn’t it?”

No, I want Evan. Only ever Evan.

I laughed to myself silently. It sounded like Mom was trying to match me up with Kyle. He may be sweet and he’d always been a good kid, but he had no edge at all. He was really quite dull. Numbers made him happy, so he’d gone into accounting. How fucking boring.

As much as Mom went on about how nice Kyle was, I just couldn’t picture it. He might not have all the money in world, but he did have one thing in his favor. Yep! He was not fucking and impregnating strangers for the fun of it.

It was almost time to head home if I wanted to beat the traffic. It was a nightmare, and the last thing I wanted was to get stuck in a jam. It was bad enough realizing the actual relationship and situation I was in. I had fallen for one of the richest guys in the country, which would have been nice, but he had his other side.

He was hell-bent on spreading his seed to any stranger who met his requirements and was willing to pay the high fees for the pleasure. He was like the Robin Hood of male prostitutes, sort of. It was not prostitution, but it was not one hundred percent ethical or moral.

Although he gave the wealthy something in return, he took a lot of money from them and gave it to the needy.

What the fuck had I gotten myself into this time? I mean, again?

  Chapter 27

  Evan

Piper was the first thing that popped into my mind when I awoke. She’d been correct; I was a creature of habit. A very limited range of habits. Whatever I did, I was either at home, at work, or the hotel suite, and all of these were linked somehow to me. And to Piper and the Baby Maker.

I had created my own little world and was not able to step out of it. Had Piper not come back into my life, I would be even worse. I
would have less reason to go anywhere different. My home and the hotel suite were all I needed. I had to break this cycle and step away from my routine. Maybe I should golf. What better way to relax than beating the hell out of a small ball? The game itself was hard enough to keep my troubled thoughts at bay for a while, at least until lunchtime anyway.

Tyler joined me at the country club. The updates on the apps had been released, and the bugs had finally been eradicated. He deserved a small treat. I had promised him thirty-six holes at my own club. I used to caddy for my father until I was big enough to start playing with him. All the years I’d spent out here with him made me familiar with the course. I knew this place like the back of my hand. Tyler was finding it hard to keep up with me.

We decided to take a break and grabbed a table on the patio. “How the fuck do you even do it?” he asked.

“Do what?” I asked. “You mean the Baby Maker thing?”

“No,” he said. “On the course. Your ball never lands high and rolls down the hill. You always fall short and putt uphill.” He shook his head.

“I have my dad to thank for that little skill. Four fucking years I carried his clubs. Almost every weekend. Trust me, carry clubs up and down hills when you’re seven years old, and you’ll soon find the easy route.”

“Well, fuck me with a nine iron,” he said, laughing. “I thought you had some serious skills, but it turns out you’re just lazy.”

I wish we had not stopped for lunch; my mind is wandering again.

I started to drift away as Tyler chatted to me.

  “Babymaker!” Tyler whispered.

“What?” I asked, startled. “Oh, sorry. I was miles away.”

“Yeah, I can tell,” he said. “Something is definitely up with you. What is it?”

I glanced around to make sure no one was in earshot. I turned back to him and leaned over the table.

“It’s this Piper situation,” I said, quietly. “Things are getting a lot deeper than I was ever expecting them to. I even turned a couple down.”

“Well, you know what these couples are like,” Tyler said.

“You should have seen the wife,” I said. “Her tits were fake, but fuck me, they were divine. And you wouldn’t believe the shit she did to convince me to take their case. She slung her leg up on my chair and finger-fucked herself right in front of me.”
