  “Oh, you can bet it’s not over you scary slut,” I taunted.

  “You can bet next time I’ll be ready and I won’t have on heels.”

  “Them motherfuckas ain’t on no more, Ashley. Drop that shit and let’s go. You thought you were bad and decided to follow me down here and attack me so let’s see what else you got.” I threw my hands up as she hit the button to the elevator.

  “Naw, but I got you though. This shit ain’t over.” She entered the elevator reciting that over and over again as if she was setting a reminder in her mind.

  “Naw bitch. It ain’t never over,” I countered.

  The tiny trickles of blood on my bottom lip pissed me off the more I sucked it to stop bleeding. Ashley had the balls to come downstairs and attack me but she did not have the balls to finish the fight. I should have dragged her dusty ass to the garage and backed over her with my car. I could not wait to finish this shit for her though. My only wish was that it would happen right after I get Chino back so I can not only rub her face in the concrete but in that as well. My clutch vibrated powerfully as I picked it up from off the floor continuing my journey to the parking garage.

  Brian was calling. I figured since I had not talked to him since that day I lied about my period he would have easily given up on me and moved on with his bottom bitch Trina. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I stared down at the number until it disappeared into the missed call log before it started up again. Back to back, he called until I made it to my Benz.

  He was persistent with his calls as if calling repeatedly like that would force someone to answer the damn call. When I started up the car two voicemails popped up on my notifications tray. I tossed the phone in my cup holder, refusing to give Brian any of my energy at this point. Chino would be home soon and I needed to go and get ready to entice him into talking to me the best way I knew how.
