Happiness for me includes any time I spend with my husband, Jon, our son, Rowan, and our three Great Danes: Bowie, Echo, and Loki. Sprinkle in unforgettable moments shared with my mom and dad, Madeline and Jimmy Stewart (yes, the source of Jimmy’s BBQ). I love you so much.
Big thank you to Mariel Concepcion for allowing the use of her first name. Steve Cole, Jodi Henley, Cathy Yardley, Lisa Kessler, Jaye Wells, Jeff Evans, Traci Douglass, CJ Burright, Celia Breslin, and Marcus Smith contributed their time and feedback. I am not kidding when I say this project improved because of them.
Finally, the Angel Assassins series owes everything to my literary agent, Laurie McLean. She is my champion in all things publishing, and I adore her. To my editor, Robin Haseltine, I am thrilled with the book we completed together!
