Androdgyny--An Erotic Memoir

"It was alright. I didn’t see you at the restaurant after class?” she inquired.
"No. I came straight home. I’m going out on a date tonight with one of the guys in the class,” I informed her.
She took a pause as I poured a glass of wine. I sat down on the sofa across from her. "Are you upset with me for going out with Ted last night?”
"No, why should I be? You’re free, liberated and over twenty-one. You can do or see anyone who you desire. The same goes for me,” I told her.
"I just find it strange that your attitude has changed toward me since I spent some time with Ted without you,” she questioned.
"My going out tonight has nothing to do with your seeing Ted last night. There is an Art Exhibition in town that I want to see. One of the students saw the advertisement at the same time as me. We decided to go together. As a result, he invited me to have dinner before we attend the exhibit. I found that to be very nice of him,” I informed her.
She cast her eyes down and took a sip of her wine. Everything I had to say was said. I didn’t see any reason to continue the conversation. I stood, excused myself and left the house. I took the subway into town.
I arrived at the restaurant before Colin. I decided to order a bottle of wine for dinner. It wasn’t long before I saw Colin come through the door. He was carrying a bouquet of flowers. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Was he bringing those flowers for me? Maybe chivalry isn’t dead after all.
"Hi! I’m sorry that I’m late. I stopped off at a flower shop and got these for you. I was always told that when you go out with a young lady for the first time flowers were in order. My mother impressed that on me from the time I began to notice girls,” he said as he handed me the flowers. He took a seat across from me at the table.
I poured him a glass of wine. "That was very thoughtful. I want you to know that you are the first person to ever give me flowers. The young man who took me to my prom was from the poor side of the tracks. He couldn’t afford to buy me a corsage. My mother put together some flowers out of her garden and hurriedly made me one to wear.”
"I’m sorry that your date for the prom didn’t have the means to buy you a corsage. I guess that puts me into a ‘first’ category,” he said with a smile. I won’t complain if you were to give me one of those Juliet kisses as a reward,” he said flashing me one of his sexy smiles.
I leaned into him and touched my lips to his. The moistness from his full sexy lips got me wet in the panties. When our lips parted, we just sat and looked at one another for a full minute. Then I broke the silence. "You were wonderful today in that scene in class. You really had a handle on the character. I would love to do a scene with you sometime.”
He said it was one he did in Summer Stock. He had got good notices in the local press. We ordered dinner. After the waiter walked away, he reached down and took my hand. I was being romantically drawn to him. It was a feeling that had eluded me in the past. Looking into his eyes, I could see that he was developing strong feelings for me as well. There weren’t any words spoken, but I could feel the vibrations of his intentions emanating from him.
The food arrived. We ate our dinners without too much conversation. The Art Gallery was only a short distance away so we took our time eating. Afterward, we had another glass of wine. Colin paid the bill and we left the restaurant. As we approached the gallery, we noticed there was a large group of people going inside. As we walked through the door, a young woman sitting at a table asked us to sign a book. They wanted our names and addresses so they could send us information about future exhibits.
After we signed the book, we continued inside. There was a large table off to one side in another room. Displayed on the table were cheese, bread, crackers and several bottles of white and red wine. A young woman was talking to a group of people. Overhearing the conversation led me to believe that woman was the artist. We poured a glass of wine and proceeded into the exhibition room. We walked up and down and studied the paintings. I liked her work. She was an impressionist. There was one painting that caught my eye. There were two people copulating. The woman was on the top. They were having their sexual escapade. The location was obviously in a garden like area. The painting was titled, ‘Adam and Eve Making Cain in the Garden’. I had to have it. It was priced at a thousand dollars. I spent the next hour and a half looking at the rest of the paintings, but I kept coming back to this one.
Colin and I walked back to the room where the wine and cheese was displayed. The artist was talking to another woman. I interrupted their conversation. "Excuse me. I am interested in purchasing one of your paintings.”
She looked at me as asked, "Which one?”
"The one titled ‘Adam and Eve Making Cain in the Garden.’” I replied.
"Yes, of course. You probably haven’t noticed, but I’m the woman in the painting. I had a friend take a picture of me copulating with my boyfriend. I used the photograph as my model for the painting. May I ask what it is that you do?” she inquired.
"I’m a student at the theater school down the street. My name is Androgyny. This is my friend Colin. He is a student at the school as well,” I said.
She turned her attention to Colin. Weren’t you in a play at the "Rose and Crown Playhouse” this past summer?” she inquired.
Colin immediately got a smile on his face. "Yes, that was me. Did you like the play?”
"Not particularly. But, I thought you were wonderful. For several weeks I couldn’t get you out of my mind. Every time I saw something dramatic, whether it was on television or the films, I immediately thought about your performance in that play. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.”
"Thank you very much for the compliment,” he said as he shook her hand.
She held onto his hand as if she didn’t want to release it. Colin finally removed his hand as politely as he could. I returned to purchasing the painting. "What exactly do I have to do to purchase the painting?” I once again inquired.
"The lady at the desk as you came in handles sales. She will direct you through the purchase.” She took a pause and looking at Colin said, "My name is Dana Clairoux. I’m originally from France. My father was an American college professor attending a conference in Paris when he met my mother. They had a whirlwind affair. I am the result of that romantic interlude. When my mother attempted to contact him, she learned that he was married with a family in the States. He did keep in touch with me after I was old enough to realize who he was. He brought me to America when I turned seventeen to attend college. I studied art. Since my father was an American, I was allowed to apply for American citizenship. I’ve been out of college now for ten years. I live in New York and have a studio in the SoHo district of the city. Tonight, I’m celebrating. I’ve sold fourteen of my works. You will be number fifteen.”
I reached out and shook her hand. "It was very nice to meet you. I love your work. I left my address at the table when I arrived. Please send me any information about future exhibits you may have in the future.”
We left the room and walked to the table where the young lady was sitting. "I am interested in purchasing the painting ‘Adam and Eve Making Cain in the Garden.’ I was informed by the Artist that the purchase is to be made through you.”
"Yes, that’s correct,” she said. She looked down a list in front of her. "That painting is priced at one thousand dollars. We require that all the paintings remain on display until the end of the exhibit. How do you wish to pay for the work?”
"Will you take my credit card?”
"Of course, but I have to run it through the machine to ensure it will be accepted.”
She took my credit card and passed it through the machine. In a few seconds, it was approved. The machine printed a receipt for me to sign. As I was signing the receipt, I asked, "How will I eventually get the painting?”
"There’s one or two ways. You can return when the exhibit has concluded, or we can have it sent via FedEx to you. There will be an extra charge for the FedEx deliv
ery,” she informed.
"I go to school just down the street. I will come by and pick it up.”
She smiled and nodded her head in the affirmative. "That will be fine. Thank you for attending the exhibition tonight. I hope to see you again soon,” she said, as she turned her attention to another patron.
Colin and I left the gallery. We walked onto the street. Colin asked me if I would like to see where he lives. I thought about it for a minute. I was hoping that he didn’t expect me to spend the night. That wouldn’t work out very well since I didn’t have a change of clothing with me. "I would like to see where you live, but I won’t be able to stay too long. I don’t want to be falling asleep in class tomorrow.” He smiled.
"We’ll have a glass of expensive wine that I purchased before I left Atlanta to come to New York. I’ve been looking for the right time to break it open. I think this is the right time. After we finish the wine, I’ll put you in a cab and send you back to Brooklyn,” he said as he laid out the plan.
"How far is your apartment from here?” I asked.
"It’s two blocks up the street,” he informed me.
"You live that close to the theater?” He shook his head. "I wished I lived that close. I could sleep in an extra half hour every morning.”
As we walked along hand in hand, he began telling me that he came across this apartment while he was doing summer stock. "One of the older actors in the company had gotten a contract to do a Broadway revival and tour it for a year. He wanted someone to live and watch over the place. The rent was free.”
The apartment was on the third floor of an old commercial building. There was a freight elevator that went up to his flat. When the doors opened, the flat was the whole second floor of the building. There weren’t any walls separating the rooms. It was laid out in areas. It was all done by Persian rugs, furniture placement, and lighting. I had to ask, "Is this actor an interior decorator?”
"No. But he is gay and has a tendency toward being very artful. In addition, he’s a very fine actor. He can do it all. Sing, dance and has wonderful timing. I wish I was that talented,” he confessed.
"After what I heard tonight from that artist, you have a magnetism that comes across the footlights. I would venture to say that most of the students in our class would love to have your abilities.” He looked at me with a look of appreciation. Actors thrive on positive comments about their talent. I was making a friend for life.
"Let’s sit down and have that wine I was telling you about.” He went over to a wine-rack and took a bottle. He crossed to the kitchen and retrieved a wine opener. After the bottle was open, he brought the wine, two wine glasses and came back to where I was sitting. He sat the glasses on the coffee table and poured. Then he handed me a glass. "Here’s to our friendship.” He raised his glass in a toast.
"To our friendship,” I said. I was hoping that what we were developing between us would go beyond friendship. I was hoping for something more romantic. I was probably asking for too much. Lasting relationships move at a slower pace. I must say, I was slightly confused. Did I really want to get tied down in a relationship? To date, I’ve been playing the field and having a lot of unadulterated sex. I would say at this point, the ball was in his court. I would just have to wait and see where he was going.
We sat and sipped our wine and looked across the coffee table at each other. In the dim light, Colin presented a handsome and sexy image. I wanted to climb across that table, tear off his clothes and have him right on that sofa. Neither of us moved. He poured me another glass of wine.
"How do you like the wine?” he inquired.
It may have been my imagination, but his voice had bedroom intonations. "The wine is wonderful. I want to thank you for a magnificent evening. I can’t remember enjoying myself as much as I did with you tonight.”
"Then let’s do it again soon. What are you doing this weekend?” He took a slight pause. "There’s a play that just opened down in the Village. Would you like to go with me and see it?” he asked.
"Yes, I would like that very much. Where would you like to meet up?” I asked.
For a moment he paused as if he was collecting his thoughts. Then he said, "We can meet here on Saturday morning. I’ll fix you breakfast. Then we’ll take our time walking down to Christopher Street. That’s where the theater is located. If we get there early enough, I’ll see if I can get you a tour of the theater. An actor I know from the Summer Stock Company is in the play. I’ll call him and see if he can make that happen.” Again, he took another pause before he said, "What do you say?”
"What time do you want me to be here?” I asked.
"Is ten o’clock too early?” he asked.
"That’s perfect.” I was wondering if he wanted me to spend the night on Saturday. I didn’t want to broach the subject, but I had to know. "Do you think I should bring a change of clothing?”
"I would like you to spend the night on Saturday. There are lots of things to do on Sunday around this neighborhood as well.” He looked across the table for a reply.
"Since I’ve moved to New York, I’ve wanted to explore the neighborhood around the theater. Do you think we could catch a matinee at the theater on Sunday?”
"I’ll get us a couple of tickets tomorrow after class. Students are offered a discount on all the tickets to shows at the theater. It’s one of the perks for being a student. I understand that Ms. LaBonti is in the current show. She only has a small part, but it will give us an opportunity to see how well she performs on stage,” he said.
I couldn’t have been more excited if he would have taken me to bed and gave me ten orgasms. "I can’t wait until the weekend.”
"Let’s finish up this wine and I’ll call you a cab,” as he poured the last remnants of the wine into our glasses.
We just sat quietly drinking the wine and looking at each other in the ambient light. After about fifteen minutes, Colin stood and walked to the telephone. After a few moments, he walked back into the room. "The cab is on the way. I suggest that we stand by the window and look out onto the street. We’ll be able to see the cab when it arrives.”
We walked to the window. He put his arm around me. I let my hand move down on his ass. It was round and firm. I was looking forward to Saturday night. I could hardly wait until I got him completely nude lying next to my body. The cab pulled up. Colin walked me to the elevator. When I walked out onto the street, I looked up at the window. Colin was looking down. I waved before I got into the cab. I was off to Brooklyn.
When I arrived at the house, it was very quiet. As I headed for my room, I noticed Jenny’s bedroom door was shut. I undressed quickly and got into bed. Moments later, I was fast asleep. Sometime later, I was stirred from my slumber by a rustling of the covers. Jenny had slipped in bed with me. She was positioning herself between my legs. Her lips began to slide up toward my vulva. My body began to react. I was beginning to leak vaginal fluid. At this point, I began to participate with her. I put my hand behind her head to move her mouth where it provided the maximum pleasure. The flicking of her tongue on my clit had me moving in all directions. I began to fantasize that it was Colin going down on me. The first thing I noticed about him was his mouth. I could only imagine what it would be like to have his lips pressed tightly into my vulva with my thighs wrapped snuggly around his head in a death grip. Jenny’s tongue and mouth were bringing me to orgasm. I began to convulse with incredible pleasure. Eventually, my movement stopped which was a signal to Jenny to desist. I don’t know how long she stayed in that position. I fell back to sleep. In the morning, I was once again awakened from an erotic dream I was having about Colin. Jenny was absent from my bed.
When I came to my senses, I could smell breakfast being prepared in the kitchen. Jenny was performing her morning culinary routine. I collected myself, got out of bed and went into the shower. Moments later, I was dressed and ready to meet the new day. I grabbed my note book, purse and made my way to the kitchen. Jenny had her back to me as I sat d
own at the table. She was putting oat meal into bowls. She turned around and placed the bowls on the table. Everything else had already been set. She poured both of us a cup of coffee and sat down across from me.
Then she spoke. "How was your date?”
"It was very interesting. We had a nice dinner before we went to the art exhibition. I purchased one of the paintings. It is still hanging in the gallery if you would like to see it. When the exhibition is over, I will pick it up. I think you’ll like it. The artist is very talented and clever.” I think she instinctively knew that I didn’t have sex with Colin. While we were on the subject, it occurred to me to mention that I was going to spend the weekend with him. "Colin has invited me to see an Off-Broadway play with him this Saturday. On Sunday, we are going to catch a matinee at the theater where I go to school.”
Jenny took a pause and looked down at her oatmeal. "Does that mean you’re going to spend the night with him on Saturday?” she shyly inquired.
"If he invites me to stay at his place, I intend to accept. Otherwise, I will check into a nearby hotel for the night,” I firmly informed her.
After digesting what I just told her, she said, "Is there any chance I could go along with the two of you?”
I gave her a look of disbelief. "No! I want to spend the weekend with Colin alone. I think we may be developing something of a relationship and I want to give it a try. It wouldn’t work with you along. I’m not sure Colin is up to having threesomes anyway.”
"I see,” she said. There was a slight pause. "Maybe after the two of you get to know each other better we can explore that possibility.” She took another pause. "Is he handsome?”
"Very handsome,’ I informed her.
She took another pause and changed the subject. "Did you like the way I serviced you last night? We haven’t indulged sexually with each other for several days. I was having withdrawal from lack of contact. When you have some free time, do you think we can get together for an evening?”
I ignored her question. "I have to go or I’m going to be late for class. Being late at the school is frowned upon.” I picked up my note book and left the house.
