Stepbrother Games: The Bet Book Two

I roll my eyes, and suddenly I feel brave. Maybe it’s the alcohol, or the fact that I can’t stand him more than ever, but for whatever reason I feel my nerves around Ben starting to fade away more and more by the second.

I laugh loudly, flipping my hair over my shoulder with a newfound confidence. “We’ve only been in the same classes since we were in middle school, Ben.” It takes a lot for me to keep my cool, but somehow I manage to get it out without spitting in his face, or showing my distaste for him.

Morgan laughs nervously. “You know Kayla, Ben, Zane’s sister.”

I grit my teeth, annoyed that she keeps calling me his sister and not stepsister. There is a difference, especially considering our current situation. I wouldn’t be considering hooking up with my real brother in an effort to teach him a lesson, or for my own enjoyment. La la la.

Realization passes over Ben’s face, and I see shock in his eyes for a second, but he recovers fast. Within a half a second the same smirk is back on his face. “Right, Kayla. I was kidding, clearly.” His eyes are on my boobs, taking them in nice and slow.

He reaches out and grabs the shoulder of some guy that’s passing by him roughly. The kid’s in mid conversation with someone and he pulls away from Ben’s grip fast. “Hey! What the fuck man, I’m-“

“Troy,” Ben says, clearly enjoying every minute of this. “Look who dropped by, Kayla.”

Troy rubs his arm a little bit, clearly being dramatic, and shoots Ben a nasty look. He flips his blonde hair out of his face and turns his green eyes on me. “Nice to meet you. Kayla. I’m Troy.” He sticks his hand out to me and I reach out to take it. When I do the same realization passes over his face that passed over Ben’s just moments earlier.

“OH, KAYLA,” Troy says loudly now, shooting Ben a look out of the corner of his eye. Ben grins, clearly thinking this is hilarious. “You look….” He looks at Ben again. “Well, you look…”

“Fucking sexy?” Ben offers up helpfully.

Troy shoots him a nasty look then looks at me again. “Really great,” he pauses, looking around the party for a second. “Are you…? I mean, are you here with Zane?”

I shake my head. “No, I’m… I’m with Emily,” I say, glancing to where Emily’s standing with Morgan a few feet away from us now, talking. Great. As soon as times get a little tough, she’s already off with her old friends.

Okay, that’s not really fair, I know she loves me. Plus, I see her looking over at me every few seconds to make sure I haven’t moved, or punched Ben in the face, or anything.

“Yeah,” Ben says, taking a few steps toward me. “She’s with Emily. What are you drinking?” He peers inside of my cup, smelling it. “Smells weak,” he informs me.

“It kind of is,” I admit, still playing it cool.

Ben laughs and lets his arm drift casually over my shoulder. It takes a lot but I don’t gag at his touch. The alcohol is washing over me now, making me feel more comfortable, and reminding me that this is a game. One that involves Ben and Troy thinking I have no idea about anything that’s going on.

Troy raises his eyebrows at Ben and me. “Does Zane know you’re here?”

  I shrug. “Not exactly sure.”

Ben’s arm tightens on me, and I can feel his eyes on my boobs again. “Who cares? I’m sure he’s busy somewhere.”

Troy rolls his eyes. “Well, I’m going to go find him.” He hesitates for a second, like he’s not sure if he should leave Ben and me alone together or not. Ugh, as if I would ever hook up with the kid who bet my stepbrother he couldn’t sleep with me in a month. If only he knew how little he had to worry. Finally, he decides to go. “Stay right here,” he tells me, looking into my eyes like he really means it.

I nod and Troy sighs before taking off into the crowd.

Ben laughs. “What is Zane your daddy or something? You need to check in with him before you go anywhere?”

I take a small sip out of my drink. “If that was true he would of known I was coming here, now wouldn’t he of?”

“The beautiful lady has a point,” he smirks. “Have you seen the pool yet? It’s really something… I’ll show you.”

“Troy told us to stay right here,” I point out.

Ben looks instantly annoyed, like he can’t believe I would challenge him. He recovers fast, though. The same cheery look on his perfect face. “He meant right here like here as in the party. Outside is still the party, right?”

  I shrug. “I don’t know.”

Ben laughs, but something tells me he doesn’t really find me amusing. “Well, it is. Come on.” He starts to usher me through the crowd of people a little, but I’m not really moving along with him. It looks more like he’s dragging me by the shoulder than me actually wanting to go with him.

We don’t get very far because suddenly Zane is there. Right in front of me, taking my body in, taking my dress in, my hair, my make up, and then Ben’s hand around my shoulder. There’s a fire in his eyes I’ve never seen before. He’s angry. I don’t know why, but he is.

He grabs Ben’s hand in one swift motion and rips it off of me. “You, go” he snaps, shoving a shocked Ben away from us. “You,” he says, grabbing my hand and already starting to guide me through the crowd at the party, “come with me.”

Part of me feels like fighting, feels like not going anywhere he tells me. But another part of me, the bigger part, is curious. Curious as to where he’s taking me, curious as to what he wants, and why the hell he’s so angry. And because you want to go with him, you came here for him. Look how sexy he is. The same voice taunts me.

Zane pulls me down the hall of the main floor, opens a door, and leads me down a few steps and into a small pantry. It’s nowhere near as big as ours, it might even be a closet that they turned into a pantry since it’s not really anywhere near the kitchen. Either way it’s filled with all types of food, snacks, and drinks.

He slams the door shut harder than necessary behind us, and turns to me with the same anger burning through him as before. I can’t help but catch my breath when I look him up and down. He’s wearing a pair of dark jeans and a dark blue sweater that hugs his arms and muscles just right. He has the same rugged look he had the day before and I feel my heart start to beat faster and faster in my chest.

He looks me up and down again, more aggressively then he did in the kitchen. I can see his chest moving up and down at a rapid pace, and I can tell he’s trying to get himself under control. I want to say something, but I’m too scared.

“What the hell are you doing here?” he says, his wild blue eyes searching mine. “And why are you dressed like that? Where are your glasses? What the FUCK is going on?”

I put my hands on my hips and scowl at him. He had some nerve. Dragging me away from the party in front of everyone like I was some kind of child, just to yell at me about being there in the first place. It was a free country! I could be there if I wanted!

“I was invited!” I yell back at him, which isn’t exactly true but Morgan was fine with the fact that I was there. In fact, she seemed excited about it. Although it didn’t seem like it took much to get Morgan excited about things. “And I put my contacts in! And got dressed up! I wanted to look nice! Is that such a crime, Zane?”

He face softens a little. “It’s not a crime… it just… it gives people the wrong message. Like they can look at you, or something…”

“Tons of girls out there are dressed just like me. Do you think they give off the wrong message?”

  Zane sighs. “It’s different, Kayla.”

“No, it’s not. And besides, I don’t care what people think.”

Zane smirks and takes a few steps toward me. “What they’re thinking is how fucking hot you look.”

I feel a heat creep into my face but I manage to keep eye contact.

“Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?”

I shrug. “It was spur of the moment.”

“You could have texted me,” he points out.

&nbs
p; I half laugh. “We don’t text.”

“We could.” He takes another step toward me, so close to me now that I can smell his expensive cologne. “I want to text you.”

His eyes search mine now, closely. He leans in to me, looking down my dress.

“Have you been drinking?” he asks me.

  “A little,” I admit.

He looks annoyed for a second, but it fades fast. He looks down to the purse I have around my shoulder, then like he can read my thoughts, he reaches inside of it and takes the water bottle of fruit punch mixed with vodka out. He unscrews the top and pours it out, right in the middle of the floor. “No more.”

I nod, unable to find words. I hated how sexy he was, how much I wanted to please him, how much I wanted to make him happy.

He takes his thumb and rubs it over my cleavage, back and forth slowly. “Do you have any idea how sexy you look in that dress?”

I’m too nervous to say anything back, too scared to move. Not so much of him, but of myself, and how much I like that he’s attracted to me in this moment.

  I shake my head.

“No?” he asks. His fingers are still rubbing the edges of my dress, making my boobs tingle all over inside my dress. “That’s hard to believe. It’s easy to see, I know Ben noticed.” His tone is challenging, like he wants to know if I care that Ben was hitting on me, that Ben was looking at me.

But I didn’t. The only person I cared about was Zane.

His finger dips inside my dress, rubbing the top of one of my boobs slowly through my bra. He moves even closer to me, and I can see his eyes on my boobs, dying to get a look at what’s underneath. His finger reaches my nipple and he starts rubbing circles around it. He grins; clearly pleased that he can feel how hard it is already, even through my bra.

He leans in close to me, one hand still in my dress. He takes the other and slips it around my neck, holding me by the back of my head, his deep eyes burning through me. “Kayla,” he whispers. And then he’s leaning closer to me, and I know he’s going to kiss me even before he does.

The kiss is soft at first, almost gentle, but it turns hungry fast. Soon his tongue is inside of my mouth dominating. I feel his hand slip into my bra and soon he has his whole hand full of my breasts, squeezing and rubbing them roughly. His kiss is deeper now, barely giving me any air, and I feel myself starting to grow warm all over the place.

His lips finally break away from mine, giving me a chance to exhale deeply. He starts kissing my neck slowly, making his way down. He pulls the top of my dress down slowly so the thin fabric of my pink lace bra only covers my boobs. I silently thank god that I wore something sexy today.

He starts kissing them slowly through my bra, and then he dips his hand inside my bra slowly, pulling one of my D cups out. That was one of the benefits that came with having curves; I had a lot of things to hold on to.

He nuzzles his face into it slowly, kissing my bare breast and sucking my nipple slowly. “Damn,” he moans. “They’re huge, Kayla. So fucking big,” he says between kisses.

I let out a moan, and he grunts in pleasure. “You like that baby?”

“I love it,” I moan. And I do, I do love it.

He takes his hand and pulls my other boob out of my bra, going to work on it just like he had the other. I can feel myself getting more and more turned on. It was a feeling I had never experienced before. A pleasure I could see myself getting addicted too. I already didn’t want him to stop.

His mouth is on mine then again. Deep and hot while his hands play with my boobs, bouncing them in every direction. He presses his crotch into me and I feel his cock through his pants. It’s hard and sticking right into me. He starts grinding against me slowly, showing me how happy I’m making him. And I like it. I love it. I love knowing I did that to him, love knowing I made him that excited.

  “ZANE!”

The voice comes from the other side of the door. It’s a girl, and she sounds annoyed. Zane freezes, like somehow he’s brought back down to reality. Neither one of us move for a few seconds, but the voice comes again.

“ZANE! WHERE DID YOU GO? I’M GOING TO FIND YOU!”

It sounds like she’s getting closer and Zane sighs, pulling back to readjust himself, and I find myself doing the same. He doesn’t have to say anything; he’s thinking the same thing I am. That it would be awful if anyone were to open up this door and find us making out. It would be all over school by Monday, embarrassing the both of us.

  “ZANE!”

The voice sounds full on pissed now.

“Ugh,” Zane whispers. “I better go. I’ll see you out there?”

I nod and he half smiles, leaning down to give me an awkward kiss on the cheek. He takes the few steps up toward the door and pauses before he turns the knob to go back out toward the party. “No more talking to Ben, okay?”

I meet his eyes. “Just Ben or do you mean any guy?”

He opens his mouth to say something but must change his mind, because he just ends up shaking his head then disappearing out the door.

I kneel down on the ground as soon as he’s gone. Now that he wasn’t close to me I was full of regret.

How could I have been so stupid?

How could I be in this deep?

  It was only day two.

  I was screwed.

  Royally screwed.
