Keep in mind when you work with the Universal Check that, as with any magic we do, sometimes the universe knows better than we do. If you do this ritual and don’t get the results you’re hoping for, maybe there’s a reason for that. Maybe what you’re asking for isn’t really what you need to be asking for at this time. If you ask for something and don’t get it, really examine why you were asking for it. Did you really need it, or was it just something you convinced yourself you needed? Did you get something else from the universe instead? Maybe that is what you really needed.

I once wrote myself a Universal Check asking for help in buying a house. I was convinced that what I really needed in my life at that time was my own home. So I wrote the check, then did everything I could to make buying a home happen. But everything I did seemed to come out wrong. I became very frustrated, and couldn’t understand what was happening. But then I remembered that sometimes the universe has other plans, and I stopped trying so hard and waited to see what would happen. As it turned out, shortly after that I was unexpectedly offered an opportunity to move to a totally different part of the country. It was not something I had ever considered a possibility, but suddenly there it was. I decided that perhaps the universe was telling me to try this new thing for some reason, even if I didn’t know what the reason was. So I moved, and when I got to the new place all kinds of exciting things began happening for me, things that never would have happened if I’d bought a home in the old place and stayed there. So if your Universal Check doesn’t get cashed in the way you expect it to, don’t get angry or frustrated. Just be patient and open to the possibilities. Chances are, you’ll get something better than whatever it was you wrote the check for.
