To my beta readers, Patricia Villali Koett, Ariadna Basulto and Keith Wittenstein, thank you for giving the book an early read and for sharing your insights with me. They were invaluable! Thanks to the lovely Genevieve Louis and Cyndi Marie for being the best admins a girl could ask for in my new Facebook Readers Group (additional props to Gen for proofing the audiobook - hey, I narrated my own audiobook!) and to Lydia Rella and the whole crew at Aural Fixation for all the hours of listening and support! Extra thanks for Lydia and her eagle-eyes for diving into some final manuscript proofing. A grateful shout also goes to Ashton Erinson (cool last name, huh?). This fella started and runs an “All Things Erin” Facebook fan group for me. How sweet is that? Much love to Andi Arndt for talking shop with me about being a fellow narrator/author hybrid for the Flirtasaurus audiobook bonus material. Thank you to Jenny Sims for editing this book like a boss and, people… if you ever need designers for your future books? Look no further than Najla and Nada at Najla Qamber Designs. They delighted the absolute hell out of me with their cover design, promo designs and book formatting prowess and held my hand throughout the whole process. Speaking of handholding, Jenn and Sarah and the whole team at Social Butterfly PR are powerhouses with so much knowledge and skill. I’m thrilled they were game to guide a new author into this wonderful world.

Jodie Fogler is an amazing coach and has been a godsend as I’ve worked to make exciting changes this year in life and career. Having her as a guide and sounding board is a dream. Thanks to Sarah Mollo-Christensen and Graydon Long for live-narrating some early chapters for me so I could get a sense of flow. Lots of appreciation to John Daugherty for the constant encouragement and excitement around this book. To Becky Ackerman, thank you for being a paleontological resource for me as I got cookin’ with this thing. It was so nice knowing I had someone (other than my very helpful five-year-old) to consult with on questions about the Cretaceous. Oh, and when said five-year-old bonked a full glass of water with a ball and drenched my laptop into an early death two days before my final edits were due? (Yeah, that happened). My beautiful neighbors Rick Martinez and Maria Camelo saved the day by lending me their fancy-ass computer and letting me keep it for a week. Thanks, friends. Anybody out there a sangria fan? Check out their delicious brainchild, Señor Sangria. It’s delicious!

To my parents, Tom and Gerry (yes, like the classic cartoon), thank you for having a great love story and for your tireless support of all my artistic pursuits since I was but a wee little Erin.

And lastly, but never leastly, biggest thanks go to my husband Keith and our three J’s. I love you more every day and I’m beyond lucky that I get to call you my people. Family hug!

  xoxo,

  Erin
