As she slapped down to his huge, hard balls she was swamped with a feeling of relief and fulfilment. After a few seconds, her body became accustomed to his, and she felt him help her lift up and trail the length of his shaft. Exquisite sensations suffused her whole body and she felt her soul fly higher and higher as they intensified.
His gasps and groans drove her on and she found herself screaming and moaning as they both fought for the same air. Her fingers gripped his taught biceps as he urged and cajoled her, and she heard him whisper her name over and over until she reached the peak of ecstasy. Her pussy burned as it burst, and she shrieked his name, and heard a loud grunt as his seed scorched a trail to her waiting womb.
She stared into his eyes and saw only love. Her heart reached out for him and she leaned her sated body over his, wallowing in his warmth as they both lay breathless and spent.
“I love you,” he whispered, his words permeating the hazy depths of her euphoria.

Three months later Dallas stood on the huge stage which had been erected in one of the fallow fields of the ranch. She held the guitar over her ever-expanding stomach as she sang one of her favorite upbeat numbers to a sea of gyrating admirers. They had sold so many tickets that the event covered three of Shane’s fields, and that wasn’t including the ones used by campers. Stalls and food wagons lined the whole of the biggest field and they even had a carnival in one corner.
She had never felt so alive in her life and she grinned as she caught the eye of her gorgeous fiancé, who was stood in the front row. He looked so handsome and so proud. Her heart leaped every time she looked at him and she felt a glow in her stomach, which was nothing to do with the bouncing baby who was nestling there. Caleb and Kerry-Leigh were dancing next to him—although, with only a week to go until their new addition was due, it was hard for anyone to get too close to the vivacious event-organizer. Kerry-Leigh had really pulled out all the stops for this gig, and since word of it got out she had been inundated with requests for her services. She had even taken on a young student to help her cope with the workload, especially when Caleb warned her that if she didn’t slow down a bit he was going to confiscate her laptop until after the baby was born.
Everyone was singing along and bopping as the music rang out across the countryside. Dallas smiled as she recognized so many of the townsfolk who had become her close friends since the night they had all rallied to protect her from the bastard who was now rotting in the county jail. She had never known such camaraderie and was so grateful for it. She felt so at home in Moonlight Hollow—everyone had been so welcoming and accepted her as one of their own.
The small diamond chip on her finger glistened in the evening sunlight, reminding her of the fantastic future she had to come.
“We can either get a smaller, affordable one now, or wait a while and get the biggest rock in the shop,” Shane had told her when they had looked in the window of the jeweler’s shop. There had been no contest as far as Dallas was concerned. They had gone in and she had chosen the most delicate ring with the shiny chip which had reflected in the color of his eyes when he had looked at her. It fit perfectly.
“This is the one,” she’d told him.
“Are you sure? You don’t have to…”
“Please.” She knew he could have afforded a more expensive one, but she had her heart set on the one hugging her finger. It was small, yes, but then so was she. A larger stone would have swamped her slender finger and she would have been too self-conscious to wear it.
The woman in the shop had been surprised, too, and had tried to show her a whole lot of alternatives, but her mind was made up.
“Do you like it?” She’d asked Shane, a little nervously.
“It’s beautiful, darlin’, though not as beautiful as you,” he’d assured her.
He had happily bought it for her, promising her that he could still get her another when the money came in—he had never been the type of guy who would spend what he didn’t have.
“I don’t want another one,” she’d told him just before he’d taken her mouth in another of his earth-shattering kisses. “And I’ve got other plans for the cash, anyway.”
That money was going to set this ranch back on its feet again. This place was on the up and her fiancé looked more relaxed and content than she had ever seen him.
Now Shane winked at her as the crowd roared their applause for the song, and she turned back and thanked the band. The next song was a ballad, another of her favorites. Another chance to tell that handsome cowboy fiancé of hers just how much she loved him, and always would.
“This one’s for Shane,” she told the crowd, who immediately whooped and hollered at the top of their voices. Midnight County sure was full of romantics!
Shane rolled his eyes and shook his head with embarrassment, as he received pats on the back and nudges on the arm from all those who stood near him. Dallas noticed him turn slightly red and she grinned.
As the music started up she glanced around at the ranch, which was already showing signs of improvement and expansion. She was pleased that Shane had managed to secure the extra land his daddy had earmarked for the riding school, and with the publicity generated by this gig they already had a long list of potential customers. The decorators had already spruced up all the outbuildings and the ranch looked a lot more pristine than it had when she had first arrived.
She smiled contentedly as she started to sing the first line of the love song she had dedicated to her lover, and, as the sun began to set it glinted conspiratorially off the shiny roof of the old steel barn.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
As a youngster, Bella Settarra used to dream of becoming an author, and wrote many tales, poems and letters.
However, as she grew up she wasn’t able to write so much, as exams, work and family overtook hobbies such as writing, so it looked as though her stories were to become a thing of the past. That was until she was very ill in March 2013, while undergoing surgery related to cancer. While lying in a hospital bed contemplating her life, she realized that her biggest regret was never fulfilling her dream of becoming a published author. Determined to succeed and make her family – as well as herself – proud, she resolved to write a publishable book within the next twelve months.
In November 2013 her first novel, Last of the Sirens, was published, and went on to become the first of a six-part serial.
Just a month later, fate dealt her another bad hand when she was forced to leave her day job as she could no longer cope with the ever-increasing hours she was expected to work while struggling with ill health. Writing became her life-line, turning a pleasurable hobby into a fulfilling career.
Now able to once-again enjoy life, she finds that writing gives her the freedom to work when she is able and rest when she is not. It encourages her dreams and nurtures her ambitions. She also has more time for her family, and for her love of driving around the English countryside in her open-top car, listening to country music.
Bella’s imagination knows no bounds, and she has gone from writing a mythical series, Sirens and Sailors, to writing about cowboys and a current work in progress about a group of restaurant staff. Her novels include MM, MF, MFM and MMF as well as various elements of BDSM, but, most importantly, they are about love.
She hopes that you enjoy reading her stories as much as she enjoys writing them, and loves to hear from her readers via her blog, email or social media.
