‘It is official now, Elizabeth,’ he stated. ‘You are collared. I am your master.’
Flooded with emotion she did not trust herself to speak; instead she swallowed hard, willing away the lump forming in her throat.
‘You think your journey has ended, but my sweet Elizabeth, it has only just begun. Put all your trust in me, and together we shall share many remarkable adventures.’
He leaned forward, touched his lips to hers, and savoured the soft, sweet, compliant kiss of submission.
