Be Mine (A Smut Collection)

“I would say yes, but we don’t have time for that right now… that is unless you want to skip the entire evening out and we can stay in with a jar of Nutella and take out?” I rolled my eyes at his lame attempt at seducing me into staying home. He was the one that didn’t want to go, not me.
“We're going,” I said sternly, grabbing my clutch off the bed. I had just turned to face Liam and he was right in front of me, his warm hands skimming over my skin, and onto the nape of my neck, holding me in place and forcing me to look him straight in the eyes.
“You’re beautiful and if anyone thinks differently, they can answer to me, understand?” His fingers lifted my chin up, and I greeted him with a smile. He made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, kind of the way you felt when you took that first sip of bubbly wine.
“Of course you would say that, Liam, you’re banging me,” I joked, well, kind of. Truthfully, I knew Liam loved my body, my curves, and my well, everything. The problem wasn’t him, though, but more so the people I would meet tonight alongside him. I wanted to be the most perfect person I could be because, God knows, he already is.
“I’m serious, Whitney. You’re gorgeous, and you have no one to impress. The only man that matters is standing right in front of you. I don’t care what my friends think, or my clients. My private life is my own, and who I choose to be with is my choice. You’re mine and if they don’t like it then fuck them.” He was so strong, and handsome, and alpha-like that my panties suddenly became soaked.
Our foreheads touched for a second and then we separated, both of us heading for the door at the same time. Our bodies bumped into each other, and I loved the desire that seemed to fill his eyes as he looked at me, really looked at me.
“Let’s get out of here before I rip that dress off of you and say fuck it to this entire night out.,” he growled, and I made a beeline for the front door. I would be lying if I said that wasn’t starting to sound like a much better idea right about now.

Liam’s hand softly rested against my thigh the entire way to the club. It was about a twenty-minute drive and to a far more fancy part of town than I was used too. I looked around with wonderment at all the clubs that seemed to be bursting with life.
“We own three businesses just on this block alone. Clubs seem to be a prime real estate nowadays,” Liam talked under his breath, pulling his Tahoe down an alleyway.
“Have you always owned businesses?” I asked. I knew Liam dealt in real estate and account management and shit like that, but I didn’t know if this was something he had always done or wanted to do, to begin with.
“No. I didn’t really get into real estate until Jay asked me to buy in with him on a business. I was leery at first and then we started to see a profit and I eased up a bit. I guess you could say the rest is history.” He gave me a panty-melting smirk, parking the SUV in a spot that said RESERVED FOR MANAGEMENT.
“Interesting…” I bit my bottom lip, feeling the warmth of my arousal between my legs. We were simply having a casual conversation, yet every moment I had alone with the man I wanted to be riding his cock.
“It is, but I’m sure it’s not as interesting as you. I did my research on you, sweetheart… that doesn’t mean that I know every personal aspect, though.” He turned the car off and pocketed the keys. He was staring at me like he wanted to get to know me better, while I was staring at him like he was juicy steak I wanted to take a bite out of.
“I’ve always loved kids. My siblings have kids, and being the youngest of all of them kind of made me feel left out. My parents are strict about relationships and my life has always seemed so fixed. Taking this chance with you was something they would be completely against, which is probably why I did it… Well, that and you’re an awesome dad, and plain all around good guy.” I rubbed my lips together making sure my lipstick was still in place.
“I’m glad you decided to take a chance on me, on us.” His words sliced through me and into my heart. I knew he thought that he was the lucky one finding me, but in reality, I was the lucky one having found him. Had he not posted that job ad, I may not be here right this second.
“It wasn’t just me, it was you too. We have each other to thank for all of this. Now let’s get inside before your friends get here. I need some liquid courage,” I admitted, letting the nervousness of meeting all of Liam’s co-workers and friends sink in.
“Remember what I said. If they don’t like you fuck ‘em. I don’t need anyone in my life that can’t handle the woman I’m madly in love with.” I blinked, because not only had he just said love to me, but he also exited the car leaving me alone inside for a second, giving me no chance to respond to his comment.
Gripping the door handle, I exited the Tahoe as well and walked right up to him my heels clacking loudly against the concrete.
“Did you just say what I think you did?” I was kind of surprised, honestly.
“I did. I shouldn’t have to wait for the perfect time, Whitney. Not when every damn second with you is perfect.” Would it be too cliché to say my heart soared out of my chest and into the street behind me?
Instead of saying something back that would ruin the moment altogether, I placed my hand in his and said, “Let’s go, stud muffin.” He intertwined our fingers and pulled me closer into his side, opening the door in front of us.
As soon as we stepped inside and through the second pair of double glass doors, I felt like I had been transported to another place.
“Wow…” I mumbled under my breath, surprised by the beauty of darkness and perfection. The place was beautiful, with high ceilings and chandeliers that hung precisely where a light was needed.
Liam didn’t give me much time to digest the place, because in a matter of seconds he was leading us up to the mahogany handcrafted wood bar.
“What will ya have?” The bartender immediately came over to us, directing his question at me first.
“Martini please,” I wasn’t sure if I should be drinking due to the fact that we were trying to get pregnant, but I would have to push that thought away for a second while I downed the Martini that the bartender placed in front of me.
“For you, sir?” The bartender asked Liam.
“No thank you. I will just take a water please,” Liam smiled, but it didn’t meet his eyes. I understood how he felt, though. This wasn’t his scene. He would much rather be at home with his baby girl that out gallivanting around the city. Nothing with Liam was about image, or about what you had. It was about the things that really mattered, your family, and your friends. The things you couldn’t put a price tag on.
“You don’t drink?” I whispered into his ear, all but gulping down my drink.
“Nope. I don’t see a reason to do so now, and never have.” His eyes met mine, and I wanted to reach up and place my lips against his so badly right in that second that I almost did, had it not been for the large, but slightly handsome man that tapped on his shoulder behind him.
“I’m glad you could make it out tonight, for the first time in forever, and I see you brought a guest.” Liam turned us to face who I assumed was Jay. He was a big guy, tall, and beefy. A man that looked more like a bouncer than a business partner.
“I did. Jay, this is Whitney, my girlfriend. Whitney, this is Jay, my best friend and business partner.” Liam’s hold on me didn’t slacked, if anything it seemed to tighten. I gave him a little wave with my hand taking the olive out of my glass and chewing it.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Whitney, you must be the reason Liam has been hiding away,” Jay snickered, poking fun at Liam. I laughed, brushing off the comment.
“Nope. Emery is definitely the apple of his eye. I’m just second best.” I nudged him in the side and watched as his body lit up like a Christmas tree.
“Very true, sweetheart, though we both know you’re equal in my eyes.” Liam gave me a tight squeeze as Jay gestured for us to move away from the bar and up the grand staircase where private VIP booths were loca
ted.
Together we all made it up the stairs and to the booth, my body begging me for another drink already.
“We’re going to be meeting with some potential business clients tonight so I hope that is okay?” Jay spoke directly to Liam as if I wasn’t there.
“Whitney is my girl, Jay. If anyone has a problem with her being here they can leave.” Okay, I really needed a drink. Sliding into the booth over the supple leather, I waited for a waitress to come to our booth and when she did I ordered two beers.
“Just double checking, bud, that’s all.” Jay shrugged. I could tell Liam was annoyed at the entire situation, so I slipped my hand between his legs, hoping I could ease some of the tension out of him.
His body stiffened and his hard cock pressed against my palm. Mmm, somebody was ready to come out and play.
“Tina… Welcome,” Jay greeted the woman who wasn’t much older than me. Her long blonde hair was curled perfectly, while her dress accented every single inch of her sickly perfect looking body.
“What the fuck!” Liam barked at Jay, rage like I had never seen before exploding from within him.
Jay raised both of his hands as if to say calm down but that only seemed to make matters worse.
“What’s the matter, Liam? Afraid to work with an ex?” The woman known as Tina taunted, and suddenly I needed another round of beers. My stomach churned and the idea of blowing chunks all over this playboy bunny’s dress started to sound really good.
“No, Tina. I don’t work with exes, therefore you can take whatever business venture you have and find someone else. God knows you’re good at cheating, lying, and manipulating people.” Oh fuck, something told me that Tina did something to my sweet man and that didn’t settle with me.
“Hi, Tina. I’m Whitney, Liam’s girlfriend,” I announced, smiling at her. She didn’t smile back, though, she merely sneered.
“I see you’re picking up your newest girlfriends at the strip club? Please tell me you don’t bring her around that sweet little pumpkin of yours?” A chuckle of laughter left her mouth, a mouth that I was seriously considering punching after that comment.
Liam shook his head. “Just like I told Jay, if someone didn’t like Whitney that wasn’t her problem, but there is, and since I co-own this place I should have your ass kicked right outside for that comment. Whatever I do with my daughter and personal life is mine. We're fucking leaving.” I knew Liam had hit the end of his rope when the fire started to form in his eyes.
“Really? Running away, or does she have a curfew?” Another jab at me, and another step closer to me knocking her lights out.
“Tina…” I smiled. “It’s obvious that whatever you had with Liam is gone. Very gone, being that I was riding his dick just this afternoon and that he’s obviously just too good for you. That and being mean doesn’t make you pretty on the inside, sweetie, not as much as you think it does I’m sure.” I shoved from the booth needing to get air before I socked the Barbie in her perfect nose. I had never been a violent person but I hated the things that she said to him, and the way she talked about Emery.
Going back out the same way we came in, I gulped down the fresh oxygen the second I got outside. There was a light breeze that seemed to help cool my hot as fire temper.
“What a bitch!” Liam’s deep voice scared me straight out of my skin, causing me to jump what seemed to be two feet in the air. He rushed over to me, his hands gripping me by the arms. “I’m sorry you had to see that, or even meet her. I didn’t expect her to be here, and knew Jay had to be up to something with the insistent way he pestered me about coming out tonight.”
“I can’t believe you were with a Barbie look alike.” I snorted. “She’s a real winner, Liam.” I tried to hide my anger, which wasn’t directed at him but I was still seething from the things the damn woman had said.
“Not my greatest pick, no, and I regret telling her about the adoption. I wanted kids at the time we were dating and she didn’t. It’s a good thing I didn’t end up with her because, God, look at her now.” Liam released his hold on me as if he realized then that I wasn’t going to run away or magically disappear through the concrete.
“We all have a past Liam. I’m just glad you made a good choice and decided to give Emery a mother she really deserves,” I boasted about myself, and Liam, of course, being himself caught on right away.
“You’re a perfect mother, Whitney, and when the time comes for us to have our own baby, I know that you will do even better.” I loved the way he spoke so soft and careful about me, like I was a fragile piece of glass.
“I love you. Now, get me out of here before I go rearrange real life Barbie’s face.” I ordered. Liam unlocked the SUV in the next second and we both piled in, hopefully heading to get takeout because nothing made me hungry like getting into an almost brawl.
Chapter Eight
Liam
Two weeks later
Whitney and Emery had been acting strange the last week and I wasn’t sure why. After the little stunt Jay pulled with Whitney and me, I was sure she was going to be running back to her house and our entire future would be at risk because of some stupid bitch like Tina.
Whitney proved me wrong, though. She didn’t run or shy away from me. She simply held her own, proving she had the strength to hold on even when someone tried to knock her down.
Her strength and love for me poured from her more and more every single day and I hoped like hell all the fucking we were doing was giving her the baby that she more than deserved.
“So I just got off the phone with my mother.” Whitney didn’t sound too thrilled. Actually, she sounded pissed.
“What’s going on, sweetheart?” I asked, concerned that her mother had said something to her to upset her. From the talks Whitney and I had about her family it seemed they weren’t very supportive of her choice to be with me and of course that pissed me off.
She slammed down on the leather couch beside me. Emery was on the floor playing with her toys, and I was trying to catch up on the football highlights.
“My parents want us to come to their house for dinner and bring Emery with. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if I didn’t assume it was just a little stunt to try and ruin what we have.” The protectiveness in her voice made me smile.
“Nothing can ruin what we have. No one can tell us what were doing is wrong. The only people that have to support our choices is us,” I assured her, running at hand through her hair as she laid her head down on my lap. She looked exhausted, and concern for nothing but her started to grow deep in my belly.
“I know. I know but I don’t want to deal with it. My sister tried convincing me when I talked to her weeks ago that even being a nanny to you was a bad idea.” She sighed angrily. I understood her frustration. No one liked feeling as if they had no one in their corner rooting them on.
“Obviously, your sister was wrong then. I assure you, the wages are fair, and the overtime is exceptional,” I teased, smiling down at her, trying to get her out of her grumpy mood.
“Dadddddaaaa…” Emery babbled, crawling across the floor at hyper speed towards us. Whitney sat up right away, plucking her right up off the floor and into her arms.
“Say, Mommy,” Whitney urged. Emery merely smiled, her bright blue eyes twinkling with endless happiness.
“No can do, sweetheart. She’s been a daddy’s girl since the day I brought her home, and she will be for the rest of her life.” I beamed. Whitney shot me a dirty look and then looked back down at Emery.
“Tell Daddy you won’t always been his little girl, because someday your own prince is going to come into your life and sweep you off your feet just like your daddy did to me.” How was it possible that I had someone so perfect, so beautiful, and loving?
“When is dinner with your family?” I questioned, changing the subject, because I wasn’t ready to think about my little girl growing up and finding someone to replace me.
“Tonight at seven. I don’t want to g
o, but I think it’s the right thing to do. I want them to meet you and Emery and see for themselves how amazing you guys are.” Whitney’s eyes bled into mine. She believed in me, and us, so much. Enough that she told her family where to go and how fast to get there.
“Then we will go. If you’re okay with it, then we will go. I want you to be happy and I’m willing to meet your family if it's something that you want.” I licked my lips, the need to kiss her and assure her everything was going to be okay was astounding.
“There’s something else….” She bit her bottom lip in worry. Fuck, my cock was already hard.
“What?” I cleared my throat trying to cover up my arousal. Emery was still up after all, and I tried not to engage in sexual activities in front of her, even if Whitney tempted the beast beneath the surface at every turn.
She looked away and down at Emery before looking back up at me like she was contemplating something.
“Last week when we went to the store, I picked up a pregnancy test.” I perked right up, my body going rigid. I had waited for this day forever. I loved Emery as my own and that would never change, but there was nothing like having your own child and watching the woman you loved to carry it to birth.
“Don’t tease me like that, sweetheart. Tell me if I’ve done the job. Tell me I haven’t let you down.” Something in me snapped, and the man in me roared to the surface. It was my job to provide, protect, and give my girls whatever they needed. Whitney wanted a baby, and I had fucked her so many different times and ways that it should’ve been done by now.
“I don’t know yet.” She shook her head a small smile pulling at her lips. Clearly, she thought this was funny.
“You don’t know yet? Did you take the test or not?” I questioned, a bit more aggressive than needed. I couldn’t help myself, though. I wanted a baby inside of her just as badly as she wanted one.
“I’m waiting for Emery to nap so that we can take the test together. I didn’t want to do it alone.” She frowned. Did she think I would have her do all of this alone?
