  “I was home alone that night because mom and Lance were so worried about you,” Kyle’s voice held no venom or hurt about it. “The doctors didn’t like the way things were going for you and they wanted to be there in case anything happened.”

  “That’s how they missed it,” Tay said realizing what they were talking about.

  Kyle gave a sad smile and started off to the room again just as the shower shut off, but stopped again, nearly at his room. “Abby’s your baby sister…isn’t she? That’s why she told you about the dreams.”

  Tay nodded, but Kyle wouldn’t have seen it, he never turned back around. “And you, love, are my baby sister’s Soul-bonded, aren’t you?”

  Kyle nodded and opened the door to his room. “That I am, Blondie, that I am,” and with that he disappeared into the room.

  Tay sighed and fell into her chair, Jason set his hands on her shoulders, a broad smile on his face as he heard the tray clatter to the floor. “So,” Jason said looking down at Tay, “how many cubs do you think they’ll have this first time?”
