Chapter Four
Raven
It had been one whole month since I last seen Fox. Though sometimes as I walked across campus I thought I felt someone watching me except every time I turned around there was no one there. All the days seemed to blend into one. Go to school, come home, take mom to her appointments and sulk over Fox at every moment in between.
“They’re doing a taco bar in the mess hall…” Carla one of my classmates from my business class announced as she walked up to the picnic table I was sitting on placing her tray right across from me. My eyes looked over the contents on her tray. Two soft shell tacos filled to the brim with veggies, a soda, a slice of cake, and mixed fruit cup. It didn’t look that bad, but my belly wasn’t feeling it.
Eating had been nearly impossible, and I knew it had everything to do with my feelings for Fox still. Every time I thought about sleeping, eating, or doing anything productive I became sick. It started with nausea that turned into full-blown vomit by the end of the day.
“Yeah I’ll pass today, I’m not feeling good,” I whispered pulling my phone out to check and see if my mom had texted me. She was up at the hospital getting test ran today. I wanted to be there but had a test to take today that I knew I couldn’t miss out on taking it.
“You say that every day Raven. Are you sure you’re okay?” Carla asked shoving a fork full of lettuce into her mouth. I couldn’t exactly tell her I missed my bad boy multi-billion dollar boyfriend who made me feel tingles all over my body. No, or that he had written me a check, and that his brother matched said check ensuring that I would never have to come back to Fox ever again.
“I’m okay. I just haven’t felt like myself lately.” I sighed, only half lying. I hadn’t felt like myself not since I left Fox. My mother was getting better though so there was that.
“Well, what’s going on?” Carla questioned a little eagerly as if she expected me to spill my guts to her and the entire campus. The sun was shining above us, blanketing me in warmth. It almost made me want to go home and take a long nap.
“Just tired, my mom’s sick, and I have loads of homework to do every night.” I shrugged pretending to text someone on my phone even though we both knew I had no one to text.
“You need to get out girl. There’s a spring break party at Stiles house this coming weekend. Maybe we can go together?” She smiled, her eyes twinkling with mischievous. If only knew the things that I had done to save my mother. She wouldn’t even consider going to a party to be the worst thing ever.
“Maybe. I’ll see what’s going on and we can meet up and talk about it later.” I assured her knowing I wouldn’t be going, nor would I be talking about going later. My mind wandered to what Fox would do if he saw me at a party with another guy. Would he watch from afar and punish me once we were alone reminding me just how much I belonged to him or would he claim me in front of this guy, showing everyone just how much I meant to him?
“Alright, I got to get ready for speech. I’ll call you later.” Carla announced, getting up from the table and taking her still full tray of food to the waste bin. Her absence left me cold even as the sun continued to shine on me. I scrolled through my text messages and then clicked over to my calendar. It was then as I was looking at the days that I realized one very big, huge, thing.
Today was Monday, and I hadn’t had my period in nearly two months according to the calendar. My last period was right before I met Tony, and slept with Fox. Meaning either I was seriously stressed which wasn’t a farfetched idea or I was pregnant which was an even more stressful thought.
I squeezed my eyes shut, willing away any tears that clung to my eyelashes. I couldn’t handle anything that would cause me to go crawling back to Fox but I also couldn’t hide something that huge from him, not when he deserved to know.
I had no other choice but to take a test and let the results make the decision for me. If it was positive I would go straight to Fox the next day and reveal to him what was going on. If it was false I would keep my promise to never see the man that had cracked me wide open. I wiped at my eyes and shoved my cell phone back into my shorts, grabbing my notebook and pen so I could finish up my classes for the day. No amount of prayer could help me.
Once again I was the helpless little lamb, getting ready to be eaten by the sly Fox. The worst part was that I didn’t mind, not at all.
***
I parked my car at the local grocery store across town. There was a Wal-Mart a block or two from the house but I chose the store across town to lessen the chance of running into someone I knew. I didn’t want anyone to know that I was picking up a pregnancy test. I scanned the parking lot before opening my car door. With some of the money that Fox had given me I got myself a new car, it wasn’t anything special, and cost no more than five grand but it was better than driving my mom’s car around.
I slipped from the car, locking it, and barely dodging one of the large muddy puddles that filled the parking lot. As soon as I made it inside the store relief flooded me. There was one cashier and a handful of people standing in line. I scurried away in the direction of the bathroom products. I was a nervous wreck all afternoon contemplating what it was that I was supposed to do.
If it were, positive I would have to spill the beans to Fox. If it was negative I could go on with my life. A part of me hoped that it would be positive, that part of me was the one that loved Fox. That knew underneath all that anger, and rage was a man that begged to be loved.
The rational side of me, however, knew better than to hope for something like that. I wasn’t ready for a baby, and Fox I was sure had never held a baby a day in his life. He wouldn’t be the father I wanted for my children.
I stopped directly in front of the tests, my eyes dancing over the different ones there were. I wanted to break down in cry right there in the aisle but I kept my shit together grabbing the next test I locked eyes on. I swiveled around ready to make a beeline for the checkout when my body clashed with another’s.
The pregnancy test box fell to the ground, and I was next, my legs wobbling, as my eyes remained trained on the floor. The body I ran into moved into action, hands encasing my hips in a tight hold, centering me, and forcing my attention to their face. I blinked, and then swallowed hard, trying to figure out if what I was seeing was real or just a dream.
“Seth?” I whispered, leaning into his face. He smiled at me like Chestier the Cat. He was up to no good when I left and I knew now looking at him in his thousands of dollar suit that he was still up to no good.
“Little Lamb it’s a pleasure seeing you here.” He plucked the box up off the floor, all the blood draining from my face as I ripped it from his hands.
“It is not a pleasure, and I will be going now. Thank you very much.” I tried to maneuver around him but I couldn’t. His large frame towered over me while his arms caged me in against the shelves behind me. I was struggling to breath as he leaned into my face, his hard chest against mine.
His eyes were a dark amber color, reminding me of just how dark and dangerous he could truly be. A shudder ran down my spine as he spoke, “It would be a shame if Fox knew the secret you were keeping from him, now wouldn’t?”
“Are you following me?” I growled, uncaring to the fact we were in a grocery store in the middle of an aisle. I hated feeling weak, and I hated knowing that Seth had something to hold over my head. Whatever pleasure he brought me at one point and time was gone and with that the desire to never to see his face again grew.
“Now, now, we all know I ask the questions and you give the answers. I can’t disclose that information to you Lamb because if I did…” His lips rested against my ear. “I would have to kill you.” I couldn’t tell if it was a joke or not but I didn’t want to stick around and find out. Taking my hand I shoved at his chest forcing him to take a step back. The smile that pulled at his lips terrified me.
I knew asking what I was about to ask could be the end of my existence. “Please don’t tell Fox yet. Once I find
out I will come to him and tell him but until then I don’t want you to say anything.” I kept my eyes on his refusing to let them slip in intimidation. Seth couldn’t control me, no more than his brother could. They didn’t own me anymore, no one did.
His pink tongue slipped out onto his bottom lip and my eyes slid over his sharp jaw line and tight cheeks. He was handsome, but with a little edge, enough that if you tried to reach out and touch him you might just get cut.
“Three day’s lamb, that’s all you’re getting from me. In three day’s time I better hear that you’ve made your way to the mansion and told my brother. Otherwise….” One of his fingers reached out twirling a piece of my hair. “I’ll have to tell him and I can tell you right now that kind of betrayal is unforgivable.” I was shaking like a leaf in the wind, my heart beating frantically against my rib cage as he released my hair and turned on his heels walking away from me like he was never here in the first place.
I nearly fell to my knees, as I reached out gripping onto the shelf, a sob working its way through my chest. I had never felt so violated, and terrified in my entire life. Having Seth know my secret made all of this that much harder. Because of him, I would have no choice but to crawl back into Fox’s web and pray that I didn’t get caught in his trap.
I forced my breaths to even out, as I held the tears back. I was a ticking time bomb of emotions my hands shaking as I finally gained enough composure to walk to the front of the store and check out. I paid with cash, and the cashier put my one single item in a plastic bag and handed me my receipt.
As I headed out the doors and into the parking lot I once again felt like I was being watched, except this time I knew I was. Seth had to be watching me because I knew more than anyone it wasn’t just a coincidence to see him in a grocery store in a town he didn’t even live in.
I unlocked my car and slid into the driver's seat, the anxiety, fear, and anger I was feeling crashed into me, unleashing a triage of emotions. Tears slipped from my eyes and down my cheeks. I was failing at life, faking it, and I wasn’t even happy while doing it. I hated to admit it out loud, or even to myself but I was happiest when I was with Fox.
He knew me better than I knew myself, and he made me feel things that no one else could. When I was with him I was free, like a butterfly, flying over the plains. Fox didn’t know it but he pieced me together, possessing me, and taking from me every single part of myself that I could give.
“Fox…” I cursed his name, leaning against the steering wheel as more tears stained my cheeks. I was falling apart without him, but with him, I couldn’t take care of my mother.
My phone chimed, signaling an incoming text message. I pulled it from my pocket and noticed that it was a number I didn’t recognize.
Three days Lamb. That’s all I have the patience for.
My eyes shot from the screen and out into the parking lot. He was out there, watching me, and somehow had gotten my cell phone number. I glared at the screen before typing out my response.
Fuck you. I replied.
Then I started my car and headed for home, the pregnancy test box sitting in the passenger seat being the only reminder I would need. I was going to have to face Fox again, and it wouldn’t be under good circumstances.
Chapter Five
(Three Day’s Later)
Fox
They say everything happens for a reason but then they never give you the reason. Raven leaving didn’t happen for a reason. She was never mine to keep and I knew that. Yet, my heart continues to ache with pain at the thought of her memory. Weeks have passed and I still refuse to say her name. I refuse to date or sleep with other women because all I can think about is Raven, my Little Lamb.
“It’s so nice of you to join us for breakfast brother…” Seth announced a smug look on his face. For three days he’s acted as if he knew something I didn’t and honestly it was starting to wear on me.
“I’m not joining you for anything. I’m eating and then I’m fucking leaving. I have some phone calls I need to make.” I rolled my eyes pouring myself a glass of orange juice. I tried to distract myself by burying myself deep in client paperwork but the truth was, every single second I was awake I was replaying her memory in my mind.
I wanted her heart, as much as I wanted her body again. I wanted, no needed to own her. The desire was almost primal, she brought out the best in me and I knew that, but still it wasn’t good enough.
“Oh, little brother you’re such a drag nowadays why don’t you come play with Angel and me.” Seth purred, his eyes staring coldly into Angel’s also known as Taylor his virgin.
“I don’t fucking share.” I ground out, grabbing some eggs and bacon from a plate and shoving it straight into my mouth.
“Except that one time right…” Seth’s comment hit me to the core. Of course, he would bring up the one single time I let him have a taste of what was truly mine. It would never happen again, but regardless he would have that to dangle over my head for an eternity.
“Leave. Me. Alone.” I annunciated every single word I said, pushing from the large dining room table and heading upstairs to my bedroom before Seth could get another jab in. I had enough of his shit. My blood was boiling when I finally made it to my room, the door was slightly ajar, and I heard the sound of a female sobbing from the other side.
What the actual fuck? I thought to myself pushing the door open the rest of the way. My hands shook as my eyes landed on Raven. My lamb. She didn’t smile or even get up from the bed where she sat to greet me, and though I was thrilled to see her I was also furious and boiling with the need to punish her.
“What the fuck?” I stared at her, slamming the door behind me locking both of us inside. Her beautiful brown eyes slipped to the floor at her feet. Look at me, I pleaded wanting to see if the love she had for me was still there.
“I….” She sniffled and my heart fucking shattered. I was an asshole on any given day but seeing Raven cry, seeing her so fragile, it broke me. “I have to tell you something, something that may make you hate me forever.” I swallowed hard, allowing what she had said to sink in.
If she was going to tell me she found someone else I was going to punish her into submission reminding her once again who it was that owned her body.
“Get on your knees, Lamb,” I ordered, undoing my tie, and unbuttoning my dress slacks all at the same time. Her eyes grew to the size of saucers as she registered what it was that I had ordered her to do.
“What do you mean? I didn’t come here for….” I was across the room and directly in front of her, my hand forcing her face upwards towards me.
“I don’t fucking care what you came here for Lamb. I told you if you ever betray me what would happen. Now you must face the consequences of your actions.” She licked her lips, her eyelashes fluttering against her cheek. I could feel her heartbeat exhilarate by the spike in her pulse. She might be frightened but she wanted this just as badly as I wanted to give it to her.
I had longed for her touch for months, my fingers begging to trace the contours of her face one last time.
“Yes, Master.” She sighed, her sweet scent washing all over me. She smelt more delicious than she ever had before, a mix of warm vanilla and cinnamon was overwhelming my senses. Her hair was curled and pinned back away from her face, and she wore this sexy all white sundress that had tiny little sunflowers on it.
Who was I kidding it would look better on the floor.
“On your knees… Now.” I ordered releasing her as I shucked my dress slacks. Her eyes met mine finally shattering any thoughts I had that she may have found another man. She dropped to the floor and onto her knees, her hands reaching up to cup my balls and my already stiff as fuck cock.
“How are you going to punish me, Master?” She questioned her tongue moistening her lips before she flicked it against the head of my cock. It took everything in me to stay standing and not sink to the floor into a pool of mush.
“I’m going to spank the fuck out of you
Little Lamb and I’m not going to stop until your ass cheeks are blistering red,” I growled, her warm mouth sucking the head of my cock all the way into her mouth. My hands went straight into her hair, as I tugged at the strands painfully.
She didn’t whimper or whine, though; she simply took more of me into her warm mouth, her hands massaging my balls with the perfect rhythm. It had seemed like forever since I felt her touch but now that she was, here again, touching me, sucking me off, it was as if she had never left at all.
I tightened my hold on her hair and started to fuck her mouth, moving her to the rhythm of my choosing. Her eyes watered as I sunk all the way into her mouth, the tip of my cock slamming into the back of her throat.
“Just like it was before little lamb, just like it was before…” I moaned pumping in and out of her warm mouth. Drool escaped out the sides of her lips as I continued to slam into her… Before I realized it my balls were rising and a fire was filling my belly. My toes curled into the floor, and my release shot into the back of her throat. I slowly withdrew from her mouth, feeling a tiny bit satisfied with myself.
“Get on the bed, and get on your knees,” I ordered her. She got up off the floor and crawled up onto the bed, the same bed where we shared her first time. Had she been with another man since? I knew she didn’t love another man but you didn’t have to love someone to sleep with them.
“Has your pussy clenched around another man?” I questioned, lifting her dress, and exposing her pussy and ass. She was wearing nothing but a flimsy white thong. What kind of protection from my cock was that?
“No Fox…” She mumbled, and I lifted my hand landing a hard slap against her ass reminding her once again that I was her Master and not Fox.
“Master. I mean Master.” She moaned with pleasure, and I smiled like a lovesick fool loving that she enjoyed being spanked.
