Then again, I was invited, so anything was possible. I was already riding on the Pierce’s coattails.
“Right this way to the party station,” Simone said as she twirled her hands in the air and we walked closer to the sound of music streaming through hidden speakers. She was wearing a red, leather mini-skirt and a white, ruffle-neck, sleeveless top. It was pretty classy, and it ended in calf-high boots.
Simone wore loose, beige shorts that caught her mid-thigh, and a striped yellow and green mid-rift top. Kyla and Lila both wore black leggings, but Lila had a loose top that flowed down her ample bosom, while Kyla wore a white bodycon top.
They were all gorgeous, and when I checked their outfits against mine, we were dressed pretty similarly. I began to relax as we weaved our way through the ever-thickening groups of students who had the same idea we did – the party didn’t start without a drink first.
It wasn’t a DIY keg at the back of the room like I was used to. There was an actual bar area, with an actual bartender, with actual top-shelf drinks.
“Is this even allowed?” I asked softly, so I wouldn’t be heard by the wrong people and come off as the party-pooper.
“Relax,” Lila said to me. “Most of the people here are seniors, or college students, anyway. Plus, that’s why he’s there,” she said and chin-nodded at the bartender. “He probably won’t serve anything stronger than beer.”
She was right. I didn’t even ask for what I wanted. As soon as we stepped up to the bar, he poured cups of beer and showed us to the punch bar to his right.
“Thanks,” I said and took my red, party cup. At least that part of the experience was normal. “So, what happens at these parties?”
“Well,” Kyla said and threw her hand around my shoulder. “First, there’s that,” she said and pointed at a couple at the foot of the staircase, the boy’s hand up the girl’s skirt and his head buried in her neck.
“Ugh!” I said and laughed. “Okay.”
“Or,” she said and walked off, leading me to a darker section behind the stairs – a passageway, much like the Pierce’s home, where even more making out was taking place. “Excuse me,” she said and we weaved between even more students who gave us evil eyes for interrupting their kissing sessions. We came out through a terrace-like opening that was bordered on all sides by French windows that went from ceiling to floor.
“What’s in here?” I asked as I tagged along.
“Not in here,” she said and pushed open the door. “Out here.”
“Oh,” I said when I realized that the door opened to the pool area, where the strong scent of weed permeated the air. “I see.”
“Have you ever tried it before?” she asked.
“No,” I said quickly, and looked around at the other girls, expecting their support. They were all looking at me like I had just sprouted wings.
“Never?” Simone asked.
“How do you party in Miami?” Kyla laughed.
“You, too?” I asked her. “I figured Lila, and maybe Annette, but not you, Kyla,” I told her.
“Ouch!” Annette said with mock hurt.
“No offense,” I giggled. “Just judging books by their covers.”
“Hey girls,” a boy that was definitely older than us said as he walked over. He was tall, with wide shoulders, and he wore nothing but a pair of whiteboard shorts, revealing tight abs and firm pecs.
He was mouth-watering, and I was glad to see when I looked at the girls that I wasn’t the only one salivating. I was yet to meet an ugly person, even if they were snobbish or jerks. It did look like money could buy anything after all.
“Hey,” we said unanimously.
He threw his arms around both Annette and Simone. “It seems you girls know how to party,” he grinned. His brown hair was wet and tousled like he had gone swimming.
“We do!” Simone beamed.
“Well, follow me,” he said.
I grabbed Kyla’s arm. “Do we want to do that?” I whispered. “He’s older than us.”
“Are you always so worried about everything? Just let loose and have some fun,” she said and looped her arm through mine.
We had just literally made two steps when the door opened. I happened to look back. Knowing my luck, it would be the cops, and I would be caught with the bad kids, but it was worse. Tyson and Liam stood outside the door, and Tyson was staring at me with a wicked look in his eyes.
“I should have known I would find you back here,” he scowled.
“What?” I asked and slipped my hand from Kyla’s. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
He walked up to me like he owned me. “You can’t be back here,” he scoffed and took my arm.
“Tyson, let me go!” I screamed at him.
“You’re going to leave, or I’m going to carry you out!” he barked through clenched teeth.
“What did I ever do to you?” I asked as anger consumed me and my hands balled into fists at my sides.
Liam stood with his arms folded and his legs apart, like a bodyguard, watching us. “Liam, go with her.”
“Hey, what’s going on?” the guy with Annette and Simone turned and said. He let them go and walked over to us. “Dude, she doesn’t want to go.”
“Yet, she’s leaving,” he countered the guy while still looking at me.
“Is that true?” he asked me. “Are you going to let him tell you what to do?”
“No,” I said weakly. Honestly, I was a little embarrassed and a lot fearful of what Tyson might do next. I remembered he had no problem throwing me over his shoulder to get me into his car when I had refused the one time. I wasn’t going to be embarrassed like that at Mia’s party.
“See?” he said and reached for me. “She wants to stay.”
Tyson stepped between the guy and me, his face dark and the scowl even deeper. “Back the fuck up!” he barked. “She’s not going with you.”
The guy laughed and looked behind like he was silently marshaling his friends to come over and assist. “What, you’re going to make me, tough guy?”
“If I have to,” Tyson retorted and stared him down.
“You know what, I’m going,” I said and pushed past Tyson. We had attracted our fair share of attention, and I didn’t want a brawl started because of me. Jesus Christ, I had only wanted to enjoy myself for an hour or so at my first fucking party and that couldn’t even happen.
“What’s going on?” Liv asked as I walked past her.
“Ask your brother,” I sneered and kept walking. I wasn’t even sure if the girls were following me, but I didn’t care. He was going to do everything in his power to make sure that I didn’t enjoy the party, or to regret that I hadn’t stayed home.
“You can always hang with me,” I heard a voice say in the passageway, the dark alley we had passed earlier. One quick glance told me it was Zack, and that same glance saw Liam on my heels.
I braked and turned. “Seriously?” I asked and raised my brow. “You’re going to shadow me?”
“Nope,” he said and basically pushed me down the passageway. I felt his hand on the small of my back that kept me moving. “I have a party to enjoy.”
“Well, I was trying to do that, until your friend stopped me,” I complained. When I turned again, I realized that the girls were following behind. “You didn’t have to come in because of me,” I said to them, already feeling ashamed.
Liam walked off, and Tyson breezed past him. I cut my eyes at him, so hard that if looks could kill, he would be sliced in half. He didn’t even look at me, but it wasn’t fooling me one bit. As soon as he thought I was adjusting, or having some fun, he would show up, or he would send someone after me. Maybe it’d be Noah next or Jonathan.
“Of course, we had to,” Kyla said. “We weren’t going to leave you alone.”
“I don’t know why he’s so hard on you, though,” Lila said. “I would love me some Tyson attention, but not like that.”
“I’m not sure I want his attention in any way a
t all,” I grumbled. “He’s ruining my life.” I gave myself a facepalm and sighed again.
“Well, don’t let him,” Annette said. “Let’s go dance or something. Listen, they’re playing hip-hop,” she said and hip-bumped me.
I laughed. “You’re right. He can only kill the fun if I let him.”
“Yep,” Simone agreed as we walked off.
I spotted Mia and Liv, and some of the other girls, mingling with some older guys, close to the bar. Liv looked over at me with eyes that said she didn’t even recognize me, and then she turned back to the girls.
I swore, those Pierce twins were going to undo me. At least Liv was sort of decent some of the time. She mainly ignored me, but Tyson was just a full-on douche in every way possible. I turned away and tried desperately to forget them both for the time being, anyway.
It worked. We found a spot just for us, and we drank beer, spiked punch, and some other weird combo of fruit juice and secret spice. We danced, bumping and grinding against each other with our hands in the air as the party cranked up.
Lila started a conga line, and we marched around the room, our asses swinging and the beer warming our bellies and making each moment more fun than the last.
By the time we collapsed onto the sofa in the sunroom, half our bodies falling off of it, it was close to midnight.
“Damn, my feet hurt,” Lila said and pulled off her sandals.
“I need to pee,” I declared and stood shaky legs. “Can someone show me where to go?”
“Go towards the kitchen and ask,” Simone drawled, and I laughed when I realized she was drunk.
I’d only had two cups of beer, but there had been some cups of punch in between, so I might have been a little off, too. I wobbled when I stood; deliberately taking each step until my sight recalibrated and my vision wasn’t as foggy and distorted. Yep. I was drunk too.
It didn’t take me long to figure out where the bathroom was – the line stretched from the hallway downstairs to the bar.
I wasn’t going to wait for that. I started wandering around, searching for another one. I was passing the staircase when the thought occurred to me that if Mia’s home was anything like the Pierce’s, there would be a bathroom, or a few, on the second floor.
I checked around, searching for permission, but all the way up the stairs, guys and girls were sitting, leaning against the rails, and making out. I guessed that was all the permission I needed.
Except that when I hit the first landing, there were no bodies stretching on both sides like I had expected. I needed to pee really badly, and I shifted on both legs as I tried to decide what to do.
I didn’t want to exceed my boundaries, but I could feel my bladder stretching. I had to go. I started off to my right, but my trip wasn’t easy. All of the doors were closed. I had to open each one to figure out which was the bathroom.
“Shit!” I whispered to myself as I started doing the pee dance. I had to take a chance. I walked past the first door – instinct told me that wasn’t the bathroom. I tried the second one. It wasn’t either.
I slowly cracked the third, and I could tell it wasn’t a bathroom either, but it wasn’t empty. I heard sounds coming from it. My heart raced when I thought I would be caught snooping. I was pulling it back slowly when I realized what the sounds were – someone was having sex.
Chapter 14
I froze!
I forgot I wanted to pee as my heart pounded against my chest. I couldn’t make out much, except that there weren’t just two people in the room. I didn’t know them – or I wasn’t sure. I couldn’t see them properly through the slit in the door.
I bravely pressed it in slightly, eager to see more. I wasn’t sure why – must have been the beer in my system. I wasn’t a usual snooper.
The increased opening showed a girl lying on the bed on her knees, in doggy-style. A dark-haired boy was fucking her from behind, and the sounds I heard were her moans and grunts.
“You like that?” the boy who was fucking her asked.
“Yeah,” she whimpered.
The other guy had been stroking his cock all along as he watched her being fucked, and he moved closer to them, his cock pointed at her.
She grinned up at him, from what I could see, and his cock disappeared inside her mouth. Their moans and groans filled the room, and I was immobilized. I couldn’t rip my eyes off of them. I had never seen a girl getting fucked by two guys at once, and it set my skin on fire.
My lower region began to throb, and I had an overwhelming urge to touch myself. It was the most erotic thing I had ever witnessed, and my heart raced to match their thrusts in both ends of her.
The girl’s head twitched, and she glanced over at the door. I jumped back and clamped my hand onto my chest and turned right into Tyson.
“What…?” he began asking, and then his lips curled into a smile when he realized what was going on in the room. “Oh, you like to watch, huh?”
I gulped, but my throat was too dry, and it felt like I was trying to swallow shards of glass. I didn’t respond but tried to slip by him. His hand came down on the wall in front of me, pinning me down.
“Tyson, I’m not in the mood. I need to pee,” I told him and tried to duck.
He gripped my arm, and I wasn’t sure if it was my pee pressing against my sweet spot, or being turned on by the trio in the room, but his touch felt different.
“You can’t want to pee that badly,” he said and stepped closer to me.
I stepped back and felt the cold wall against my back. He was right up in my face, and the look he gave me was intense. He narrowed his eyes at me. “Are you sure you don’t want to get the other room?”
I pressed hard against his chest, and he actually budged. “Not on your life,” I snapped and walked past him. I didn’t even check to see if he was following me, and I no longer needed to pee. It could wait.
For all the times he had given me grief, he really thought I would even entertain the idea of him fucking me? Me and Tyson? No freakin’ way!
“Hey, where have you been?” Kyla asked when I got back to them.
“Long lines and I still didn’t get to pee,” I explained and flopped down on the sofa. “But, the urge is gone, for now.”
“Yeah, I think I’ve had enough of this party,” Simone said as she stood. “I can barely feel my legs, and if I stay any longer, I’m going to wind up on the party board at school.” Her speech slurred, and she gripped the back of the sofa as she stood to steady herself.
I checked my phone. It was a quarter to one. Yeah, I was done with the party too. “Come on. I’ll drive,” I said and walked off. I was the only one walking when I looked behind me. “What?”
“No offense, but you live up the street, and you want to pee, and had as much to drink as us. You’re not taking me home,” Annette said and stood.
“So, what’s the plan, because we only have one car,” I reminded them.
“My brother’s coming to get me,” Annette said, and he’ll drop off the girls.”
My eyes popped. “So, I’m on my own?”
“Not really,” Simone said slowly. “You’re just up the hill.”
“Which means you can just…I don’t know, ask Liv or…” Lila was saying.
“Don’t you dare say, Tyson!” I snapped at her, and they all started sputtering with laughter. “I’m not joking.”
“I was just joking,” Annette laughed.
“You all suck,” I told them and dropped back into the sofa.
“Hey, don’t get comfy,” Annette said. “He’s almost here, so get your ass up.”
I groaned and hauled myself to a stand again. “Let’s go. We can wait by the gate. But what about your car, Kyla?”
“I can drive,” she said. “I only had like one beer and that was over three hours ago. I’m mostly sober,” she giggled.
“Mmhmm, I don’t think so. You’re coming with us. We’ll grab your car tomorrow.” Simone said.
It was just my luck that
I had to pass the boys on the way out. Walking by them was like walking the hall of shame. Their eyes glued to me – I wasn’t looking, but I could feel them tearing into my skin.
Ooh, I so hate Tyson Pierce!
When he touched my shoulder, I knew it was him even before I looked. I turned rigidly towards him. “What is it this time?”
He leaned in close. “I just wanted to tell you, there’s something running down your leg,” he said and pulled back.
I jumped and started searching myself. I didn’t see anything. It wasn’t until he and the boys started laughing that I caught the ‘joke.’ I scrunched up my face and stalked off.
“Next time, go with paper towel,” he shouted after me.
“What’s that about?” Simone asked.
“No clue,” I lied to them. I wasn’t about to broaden the scope of my embarrassment. So far, only he and his boys knew what he was talking about — no need to let anyone else in on it.
Annette’s brother came after ten, very long minutes, and I was the first one into the car. I waved goodbye to them when I got to the Pierce’s. Some days I considered the place my home. That day wasn’t one of them.
Tyson went above and beyond to be an ass to me – even more than his usual self and I could tell. No way could he have been that mean and girls would have liked him anyway.
But then again, who knew what rich chics thought about? Maybe his pecs and the size of his cock would make everything else about him pale in comparison.
I was glad to be in the comfort of my bed that morning. And at the knowledge that the following day there would be no school. I couldn’t imagine what new torture he had planned for me. But I had one thing to look forward to – I would be getting my car, and then it would be Tyson no more. Eat that asshole.
My eyes flew open on Monday morning, and the excitement that had been trapped inside me since Aunt Celine paid for my BMW 5-series car, my BMW, erupted!
I wanted to scream as I flung the covers back. I ran to the dresser and grabbed the keys, rubbing the metal between my index finger and thumb. It was real! I had a car! And not just any car.
