Knocked Up by the Alien Hottie

I glanced down.
Aurora squealed, waving a hand toward my high, prominent stomach, which strained at my lilac overalls. “Stella, you-you’re—”
“With child,” Tennn rumbled, shock deepening his voice.
“Pregnant!” Aurora blurted.
I sat in an untidy rush.
Tennn dropped to his knees beside me. “My Stella…” he shook his head incredulously. “How can this be?”
I smoothed a hand over my distended stomach. A tiny foot kicked up against my palm. I wet my lips, struggling to find words.
“Stella, my love…is it? …But it can’t be…?” There was so much hope, yet disbelief in Tennn’s half-formed phrases. His forehead furrowed, one of his hands clenched into a fist, the other hovered over mine, as though he wasn’t sure whether he could touch me.
I took his hand, pressing it onto my stomach. My mouth opened and closed soundlessly like a goldfish. I shook my head and tried again. “Well, I’m not really into that whole immaculate conception thing. And we did…y’know. A lot of times.” Like, a lot. “And there was no one else. So, it can only be…”
Like Tennn, I didn’t want to voice what seemed too amazing to be possible.
“My Stella,” Tennn’s huge hand caressed my stomach, his dark gaze holding mine. “My love. You carry my child within your belly?”
I nodded speechlessly. Though Xander had said it was impossible, there was no other explanation. Somehow, I’d been knocked up by the alien hottie.

…a flirty, dirty, shorty romcom
The Warriors of Crasasi: Episode Three
My sister, Stella, was abducted by a trio of hot alien warriors. Well, not so much abducted, as she went willingly.
Then, because she’s my twin and knows how much it sucks (actually, there’s ZERO sucking going on) to live on Earth where there’s a shortage of men due to a worldwide virus, she came back to invite me to join them.
But now Stella’s pregnant to the gorgeous alien commander — despite that supposedly being impossible — and the guys are not so keen on handing us over to the flesh-traders at Daorheris, per the terms of their Royal Command.
But I’ve got problems of my own to focus on. Because both Xander, the sensitive, book-loving warrior, and Yanno, an arrogant, dominating alpha, are clearly interested in me. And, if we’re not going to be offloaded at Daorheris, I need to make a choice…or do I? Yanno and Xander are the difference between curry and ice-cream; one scorchingly hot and fierce, the other sinfully sweet and smooth.
And, after all, I’ve never been the kind of girl to indulge in only a single course…

ADORED BY THE ALIEN HOTTIES
Chapter One
Aurora
Xander elbowed what appeared to be a flat panel in the soft beige wall of the room I’d followed him into. So much for safety-conscious me not going anywhere with strangers; but we were talking over six feet of broad-shouldered, black-haired, green-eyed man. That combination was more of an inducement than ‘come see the puppies in my van’ could ever have been.
Open-mouthed, I gawked around over my own stack of books. Probably not my best look, but who wouldn’t gape when they’d just stepped onto an alien spaceship? Only minutes earlier, my sister, Stella, had turned up at our childhood home. Claiming she’d been in ‘Outer Space’ for the four days she’d been missing, she said she was about to leave again. More importantly than that load of crazy, though, she had two hella-hot guys in tow.
I figured she’d lost the plot and the guys were part of some cult — not that I had an issue with that. I mean, men had been at a premium in Australia for years, and since when did religion hurt anyone?
Oh, right, yeah. Well okay, skip that thought.
Still, my sister clearly had more man than she could possibly handle; she called dibs on the guy she introduced as Tennn, more than six-and-a-half-foot of dark-haired yum, and most definitely a ten. I’d have been mad — I mean, as the oldest, I should get first choice — except the second guy, Yanno, rocked an urbane vibe I’d only read about in my favorite romance novels, hiding the books beneath my desk at work. Not that romance was illegal, like pornography; but it wasn’t a good look to be reading what amounted to pure fantasy at work.
Yanno’s dark hair was peppered with silver at the sides, his face a little lined and craggy, his manner assertive and maybe even a bit arrogant. As a girl who’d had to do everything for herself — and, by that, I mean E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. — I did mention there were basically no men in Australia, right? So, yup, I was a thirty-two-year-old virgin. Anyway, as a girl with no experience of real, live men, maybe a bit of alpha male in my life would be nice.
Except Stella said these weren’t real, live, men. At least, not the way I meant.
They were aliens.
To be honest, I didn’t care whether they were legal or not. The H.O.T factor was enough to overcome that, and I was absolutely prepared to enter a marriage-of-a-heck-of-a-lot-of-convenience with Yanno so he could get a Green Card, or whatever the Australian equivalent was.
But then Stella insisted they were alien aliens. As in, from Outer Space. (She managed to dramatically capitalize the phrase each time she said it). Where she claimed to have been. Where she said she was returning.
So, we were back to her having lost the plot.
Except then she told her guy, Tennn, to reveal his eyes and blink. He did. A weird, double-lidded blink. Then Yanno did the same. I almost missed his blink because, his lips compressed with apparent annoyance, he turned his head to one side and I saw that what I’d thought was a close fade was actually designs, like tribal tattoos, cut into his hair and then extended in ink on his skin. So now he was like a bad boy mash up of surfer vibe and silver fox.
Seriously, could anything be sexier?
Apparently, yes, it could. Because the long, assessing stare he gave me had me weak at the knees. And damp a little higher up. He didn’t even bother hiding his evaluation, just started at my feet, slowly scanned up, then down again. Met my eyes for a second, then looked back to his wristwatch, curtly ordering us all to hurry up and board their ship.
My ovaries leapt to obey him. Stella hadn’t needed to ask me twice — though, on reflection, she hadn’t actually even asked me once — before I’d decided I was going anywhere these males were going.
I mean, before I decided I should accompany my twin sister wherever she planned to go. After all, I was the eldest.
And she had men. Did I mention that bit?
Yanno had wrapped his arms around me and I figured all my fantasies were coming true. Apparently though, the embrace was merely to transport me onto their spacecraft, as Tennn did the same with Stella. Still, it seemed Yanno was in no hurry to release me when we materialized inside a glass shell within an austere room. And I wasn’t struggling for freedom, either.
But another, equally pleasant, surprise waited for me in the room. Well, I guess he wasn’t waiting for me, per se, but still. Opening the glass shell that encased us, Xander — according to Stella, the final member of the crew — had seemed torn between pleased surprise at the fact that I was my sister’s identical twin, and awe at the sight of the books I’d snatched up when Stella had said I could only take personal possessions and Yanno had bellowed for me to “Leave. Now!”
Evidencing a love of reading was a sure-fire way into my knickers. Well, I presume it would have been if Australia had enough men left to profess such an interest. The few we had were probably far too busy servicing the female population to find time to read.
Tennn and Stella had immediately disappeared to do whatever they’d been doing for the last four days — something unspeakably pleasant, judging by the smug, satisfied look on my sister’s face. Though I figur
ed we would definitely be speaking about it, as soon as we had chance. Stella and I didn’t keep secrets. In fact, the closest I’d come to sex was through my sister’s recounts. Just call me the Vicarious Virgin. More adventurous than me, Stella had traveled and had at least managed to hook up a couple of times. Living in the small town of our birth, where the dwindling male population were all married, I’d never even had a chance.
But maybe that was all about to change.
With another long look at me, Yanno had disappeared through a large doorway that appeared in one wall, apparently headed somewhere to put us into hyperdrive, whatever that was, and Tennn had directed Xander to prepare me for stasis.
I had no idea what that meant, but I was instantly prepared to be prepared for anything, by him. I mean, manners and all that. I was their guest, after all.
Now, after walking several lengthy corridors with Xander carrying the bulk of my books, I gaped around the room he’d led me too.
The thing was, I wasn’t staring in amazement. Although the corridors we’d traversed could have been either alien or just plain clinical in that upmarket, polished, private hospital way, there was nothing to gawk at in the beautifully appointed room we’d ended up in. Because it was exactly that: a beautifully appointed room, such as you’d find in any high-class accommodation facility. Well, according to the classy magazines I liked to thumb through, anyway. Those kinds of places were for couples; needless to say, I’d never actually been in one. However, what I did know from experience was that the room we stood in didn’t look anything like the dated, slightly tatty rooms in the house Stella and I had inherited from our parents when they’d decided to spend their retirement traveling the world. Home was about watermarked ceilings, tired paintwork and chipped skirting boards.
Still, this room did look entirely — and disappointingly — human.
A large bed dominated the space, decorated with a gold eiderdown threaded through with varying shades of blue. Tasseled gold cushions were piled against a bundle of plump blue pillows. The curtains, which were drawn and covered almost an entire wall, matched the bed cover, with luxurious silky tiebacks hanging on either side, perfectly paired with the tassels on the cushions. A textured painting of a lavender-and-gold-shaded iris hung above the bed and vases of the same flowers stood on shelves and the bureau. The only thing missing to create the perfect bedroom experience was books.
And I could take care of that.
A short drawer slid from where Xander touched the wall, and he lay the books reverently in the tray. “These are so beautiful, A-Aurora,” he said.
“Rory,” I supplied, as he stumbled a little on my name.
He ducked his chin with an almost shy smile, his long, thick braid falling forward over one shoulder. “Rory.” His hand hovered over the top book. “May I?”
Although he had helped carry the tomes I’d managed to snatch from my house when Stella had returned from ‘Outer Space’ to collect me, still the tall alien didn’t presume to handle my goods. Which was a bit of a shame. I’d have no issue with him doing so.
“Go ahead,” I moved closer, as though I needed to direct his touch. Uh-huh. I’d sure like to be directing his touch.
He leaned forward to stroke one incredibly long finger down the spine of a leather-bound volume. I shivered, as I imagined the gentle touch on my own spine. “Pick it up,” I urged, my voice throaty. Pick me up, whispered the slutty she-devil on my shoulder. Pick me up and throw me on that bed.
I was accustomed to living with that devil, but she didn’t generally have a real-live male to direct her lascivious thoughts toward.
Xander’s fingers curled into closed fists for a second and he pressed his generous lips together, as though deciding whether he dare. Then he gave a short nod, carefully lifting the book from the stack as though it was the most precious, delicate jewel.
He stared at the cover for a long moment, then traced a finger over the gilt lettering. A slight frown creased his brow.
“Open it,” I suggested. ‘Undress me’ whispered my very conscious subconscious in helpful translation.
Xander turned to me, his shoulder lifting in a slight shrug of incomprehension. “But where is the screen?”
He thought it was an e-reader?
As I leaned across him to lift the cover, my breast brushed his arm. Hey, they were big, all right? Both my breasts and what I could see of his well-muscled arms beneath the stretchy, skin-tight, long-sleeved tee he wore. It wasn’t like I deliberately invaded his personal space. Not much, anyway.
Xander made a low humming, almost a growl, deep in his throat. His pupils flared as he gazed down at me, our fingers just touching on the cover of the book.
Even without experience, I could recognize that look. This alien wasn’t turned on only by books. My slutty she-devil tap-danced on my shoulder in excitement.
Unfortunately, despite shoulder-devil’s plans, the librarian in me automatically completed the move. I flipped the cover to reveal the first chapter, and Xander’s attention ripped back to the book. “The words. They are here…and here…and here.” He carefully turned the pages as though he thought they’d disintegrate.
“You really don’t have any books on…wherever you come from?”
“Crasasi,” he said. “No. We have the words, but they are on a screen. Here, I shall show you mine.”
As he slid long fingers into the flat pocket of his leather pants, I raised an eyebrow. There was no way he was packing an e-reader in those deliciously tight babies. He was, however, packing rather a lot according to the silhouette I’d already allowed my gaze to wander to several times. And I was definitely keen for him to show me his…whatever.
