She felt utterly and deliciously trapped. For the first time in her life she considered how it would be to have a man tie her up, to be at his mercy. As Travis’s thick cock rubbed her she questioned what else she might have missed when it came to sex, because it hadn’t been this exciting with her ex.

Travis pushed up onto his forearms and levered his lower body against hers, stroking the length of his cock along her oiled cheeks. She tilted her hips. Without a word spoken she wondered if he realized what she was offering. A silent message, something more than ‘take me,’ she felt like she was offering herself.

“C’mon, baby.” His words were a throaty growl. He pushed one knee between her legs and finally allowed her to spread them as open as she desired. In a quick movement he grabbed two of her pillows and pushed them under her hips, lifting her for him. She sucked in a breath, suddenly doubting if she should have teased him quite so much. She felt exposed, the heavy coating of oil on her ass wet and cool as he pulled away from her. When he didn’t move for a moment she glanced back over her shoulder.

“Stay still. I’m admiring the view.”

“I don’t know about this…” She trailed off. Her voice sounded muffled as she spoke into the sheets, so she turned her head to the side in time to see him stretch over her to rummage in her bedside drawer. She shut her eyes tight.

“Would you feel better if I tied you up?”

“What?” She tried to wiggle away from him. How could he know what she was thinking?

He began to massage her again, this time with one hand working her lower back and the other working its way toward her pussy. She groaned and stopped struggling. As if she had no control, she tilted her hips upward, using the angle the pillows beneath her provided to allow him access to her clit. She couldn’t think and didn’t want to.

“You liked it when I held you in place and when I used your clothing to restrain you at the hotel. You like it when I’m on top.” He was thumbing her clit now, and the sensation made her quiver. When he kneed her legs open a little more so he could kneel between her thighs, she gave up trying to think entirely.

  “Yes…”

“But you’ve never been really tied up, have you?”

“No.” She ground her pussy against his hand. She didn’t want to talk, didn’t want to think about her earlier realization of just how sheltered her sex life might have been.

The hum of her vibrator as he flicked it on caught her attention. Her mind raced.

  “Give me your hands.”

“What?” Thoroughly confused, she started to turn toward him, but he put one hand on her shoulder, gently keeping her in place, encouraging her to reach toward her lower back with one arm and then the other. The effort forced her to put her weight more on her knees and drove her chest deeper into the mattress, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Still, it reminded her of how she must look, her ass riding high in the air. Her pussy throbbed, getting wetter by the second. I am a total kink. She smothered a giggle.

She was surprised again when he placed the control for the vibrator speed into her hands. And even more shocked when he wrapped the wire connecting the controller to the vibrator around her wrists. The binding was loose, but it was there. Her heart pumped harder inside her, loud enough that she wondered if he could hear it.

She could hear him, his quick breaths. He might be in control, but he was barely keeping his own. His excitement mirrored hers. The sound of the foil condom packet ripping open was unmistakable, as was the wet sound of it unrolling over his cock. She shivered, the motion sending wet trickles of oil down the crack of her ass. When he began to thumb her clit again, she moaned. Just as he brought her to the brink of orgasm, he paused. The cool surface of the vibrator, humming at a slow pace, rubbed her ass cheeks. He flicked her clit again with his thumb, keeping her off balance, and then pushed the vibrator along the crack of her ass, wedging it against her.

She wiggled, unable to stop herself.

Travis chose that moment to thrust his cock deep into her pussy. “Alicia. Youfeelsofuckinggood.” His words slurred together as he pumped into her and then drew back.

She called out, heard her own wordless voice. One of his hands reached around her thighs to tease her clit and the other, oh God, the other rubbed the vibrator along the opening of her ass.

“Turn it up, Alicia.” There was no question he was telling her what to do, but the idea was a damn good one and she flicked the vibrator to a faster speed. He pushed it against her ass hole, holding it steady while she did the work.

She responded to the flickering of his fingers over her clit and the thrusts of his cock by rocking backward, impaling herself on the pulsing tool. The vibrator pushed inside her, forcing a gasp to her lips, but Travis didn’t give her a second to hesitate. He stroked her clit again and she rocked until the vibrator pulsed its way deeper in.

“Turn it up all the way. I can feel it, Alicia, feel it inside you.” He shifted the angle of his cock while she complied, and she lost all ability to think of anything, her orgasm building slowly, hugely inside her.

Her breath caught until the only sound she could hear was the pounding of blood in her veins. And then she was over, waves of orgasm roaring through her, his cock meeting her rhythm, pumping inside her.

As the sensation began to fade, he twisted the vibrator, now stroking it inside her, a second cock to match his own, where before he’d let her motion be the impetus. He was fucking her hard, his cock sliding out and then in until he bumped against the vibrator. The motion made her whole body rock on the bed. The rough towel under her caught at her sensitive nipples. Sensations whirled though her, a cyclone of pleasure, and when he stroked her clit again she bucked. She’d never had an orgasm one on top of the other but it was happening now and she gave in to it, gave in to Travis. At this moment, as he brought her to the edge again and she could feel him beginning to come, she would have done anything he asked, fucked him any way he ever wanted.

Instead, after he pulled out the vibrator and she screamed with the orgasm that followed for both of them, he didn’t ask for anything. He pulled the wires from her wrists, wrapped her in his arms and rolled to one side, spooning her. She could feel his heart beating. It felt so right, and that, she suddenly realized, was scarier than the kinky sex they’d just experienced.

She took a deep breath, reminded herself it was just a game. In moments her heartbeat slowed, she could breathe again, and darkness claimed her.

  Chapter Four

Travis slipped from Alicia’s bed. His belly rumbled and he winced at the loud sound, glancing back at her sleeping form to check that she hadn’t woken. Her rumpled body and twisted hair brought a grin to his face. She looked as over-sexed as he felt. He picked up her vibrator and slipped out of the room and into the bathroom. In a few minutes her toy was clean and so was he, the quick shower bringing back thoughts of Alicia’s teasing mouth. He drew on his pants, glad they’d left his clothes in the bathroom. He was starving and she would be too, whenever she woke. Since she’d be arranging his flight today, and after her amazing passion last night, fixing breakfast was the least he could do.

Looking at her simple vibrator, Travis grinned. Alicia had an enthusiasm for a sensual level of kink that delighted and surprised him, considering how new she seemed to be to the wilder side of sex. It was a puzzle, one he intended to learn more about. He rinsed his mouth out with a little borrowed mouthwash and thought about what he did know about her, what he remembered from college. There was a pretty big blank spot in time between when they’d attended Michigan and now.

He walked to the stairs, glancing into the bedroom for a second. Alicia slept on. He took a moment to really look at the room, something he hadn’t bothered with in the heat of last night. Uncluttered, tasteful furniture in dark cherry complemented a creamy wall color and cork flooring. The overall impression was warmth. The cream color extended to the halls and the stairwell. Stepping down onto the first few stairs, he looked at the framed photo
s on the stairwell wall.

Alicia’s smiling face peered out from a few shots. Others were obviously family, and a few were scenes that looked exotic. He studied them all as he descended, smiling at some and wondering about others until he spied a small shot of Alicia with a group of people. Her arms were wrapped around a tall, cocky-looking man with a brush cut. Alicia looked happy. Peering closer at the photo, one thing stood out—a sparkling ring on her left hand.

  He’d done it again.

Alicia rolled over and opened her eyes. The bed was empty, the warmth from Travis’s body gone. The place was silent and, despite the open curtains, a little dark. Her dress lay on the arm of her comfy corner chair. If her body didn’t ache in unusual spots, she would have sworn last night had never happened.

If Travis was gone she wouldn’t have to face him. That sounded good on a number of levels. One, she could feel her face flushing, just thinking about how she’d let him take her. She’d basically surrendered, given him leave to do anything he wanted to her body, even if she hadn’t said it in words. Worse, she knew she’d do it again. What he’d done felt so damn good she could only imagine what might happen the next time he was in control.

Beyond that, there was the awkwardness of a one-night stand, because that was surely all they’d had together. They barely knew each other anymore. Although in truth, it was their second night… She shook her head. Then there was the fact that she’d promised him a flight and she wasn’t even sure that there was one available today. He’d think she was jerking him around for sure.

That was something she didn’t want. She’d done the wrong thing in taking out her anger for her ex and what he represented on Travis. He wasn’t a bad guy. If circumstances were different and they’d met a year from now, when the wounds from her divorce were more healed, would she have jerked him around? She wasn’t really a bad girl. It wasn’t like she’d done something really horrible, just played a little trick. She’d make it up to him, but it left a slightly sour note to the beginning. She stopped, thought about it. The beginning of what?

With a groan, she rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom. Travis’s clothes were gone, and she couldn’t hear anything from downstairs. A small trickle of loneliness wormed its way through her stomach. Pursing her lips, she turned on the shower as hot as she could stand it and jumped in. This was exactly why she didn’t need to get involved with anyone again, especially a guy who hopped in and out of beds. Never mind that she’d done the same herself. She wasn’t like Selene, changing men like she changed her handbags.

Alicia stood in the hot water for minutes longer than a shower called for. Her breasts tingled and ached from Travis’s touch and her pussy throbbed. When she found herself absently stroking her clit, she rested her head against the cool marble tiles of the shower and flicked the water off.

Steam bathed the room. She shook her head at herself and then roughly dried her hair and body. She grabbed a terrycloth robe and her toothbrush and headed for her office. Two minutes later, she was still chewing on the minty brush and staring at her computer screen when she heard the front door security alarm beep.

“Hey, Travis. I hope you brought coffee,” she called out toward the front entrance. Despite her earlier self-admonition, pleasure flickered through her at his return. Maybe she was wrong. Maybe he wasn’t a player.

“Sorry, chick. It’s me.” Selene popped through the doorway to Alicia’s office with two take-out coffees in her hands. “Have you misplaced the stallion already? Need me to rope him up and tie him down for y’all?” She handed a coffee to Alicia and took a sip of her own.

“No, and what’s with the cowboy vocabulary?” Alicia set her coffee aside on the desk, untouched. She glanced back at her computer screen and sighed. No flights available for Boston on her small airline and not much she could find for a swap of favors of any sort. It was going to be an expensive booking, first class, for her to get Travis to Boston in time to salvage some of his reunion. If he came back to collect his ride at all. She’d already given him one, after all.

Her mouth twisted at the thought.

“Helloooo. Earth to Alicia. We have our first flight to Dallas today, remember? Y’all?” she drawled as she sat in the loveseat along the wall of the office and stared at Alicia.

“Of course.” Alicia tapped the keys and pulled up her company schedule. This really was a big step for the company, and the new route meant she’d begun to play with the big boys in private travel. But the success lacked the…flavor it once had.

“C’mon, sweetie, now that you’re back in the saddle again, we can have some fun with those Texan tall, cool dranks of water.” Selene’s fake twang broke into her thoughts and she saluted her with her coffee.

Alicia had to laugh. Selene would never worry about what might have been. “You have the worst Texas accent I’ve ever heard.”

“Maybe, but at least I’m having fun. You look pretty miserable for a girl who had some hot rodeo lovin’ last night.”

“Not that it’s any of your business, but it was damn hot rodeo lovin’. It’s just that he wasn’t there when I woke up.”

Selene raised an eyebrow. “So? You had your fun—twice now, as a matter of fact. What more do you want?”

“I guess that’s the real question, isn’t it?” Alicia glanced back at the computer screen. With a flick she toggled back to the ticket search she’d set up for Travis’s flight. “I promised him I’d get him to Boston today so he could meet up with his pals.”

“But we don’t have any flights going to Boston today.” Selene got up and walked over to the desk to glance at the computer display. “Ouch. First Class?”

“Well, I promised. And there isn’t anything else available.” In a decisive move, she clicked the purchase button.

Selene laid one hand on Alicia’s shoulder. “As your business partner I’m glad to be reminded once again about your integrity.” She spun Alicia around to look her in the face. “But as your girlfriend I have to say, what the hell is wrong with you? He isn’t even here. What, did he use some kind of voodoo on you?”

Alicia stood. “I’m getting dressed. I’ll see you this afternoon for the Texas take-off.”

“Okay, sweetie. Your pocketbook took a hit, but you’re even now. Just don’t get your heart in trouble, okay?” Selene gave her a quick hug and then turned to toss her empty coffee cup into the trash. “See you later.”

Alicia watched her friend leave. Selene was right. This was ridiculous. She picked up her coffee and headed up the stairs to get dressed. Yes, Travis made her feel things she hadn’t felt in a while—excitement, desire and a focused sexuality that took her breath away. Now she was settling the score, ending the game. He’d leave for his trip, have some fun and go back to his old life. If he did want to see her again, it would only be for a booty call, one he’d believe she would answer, considering how she’d jumped at his sexual beck and call. She’d take him up on it, of course, and enjoy another night of mind-blowing sex. But nothing would really change.

The thought was, somehow, a little depressing.

Alicia walked to her closet and took out a suit in a dark grey pinstripe. Coupled with an aqua blouse, it was one of her favorite power suits. Understated, yet radiating strength and stability. Straightening her shoulders, she made a decision. It was nearly eleven now, and Travis hadn’t returned. He wasn’t going to. She had to accept that, move on. No more one-nighters. Or even two-nighters.

She needed the solid life she’d been building for herself since her divorce. An on-again, off-again sexual relationship in which she had no control—strangely exciting as that may be—was not going to help her develop her stability. She slipped into her heels, headed back downstairs and sat at her desk. Calling back the travel program, she emailed Travis his e-ticket to the address from his business website. Better to send the message and settle the debt now. She’d be free of guilt and have time to build up immunity to his sexual draw. She typed it i
n: Game over.

  *

Travis thought again about the email and the ticket on his smartphone. Game over. Fine with him. She’d attached a ticket to the brief note. First class, but not with her airline. There was a definite message there. She was unimpressed over his departure. Well, he wasn’t too happy either.

He fumed as he threw his overnight bag into the luggage rack above his seat and climbed into the wide recliner. The flight attendant beamed at him but he ignored her and she moved on. He ran through the last two nights in his mind. Aside from the intense sex, one thing stood out in his mind. She’d teased him about a cat with a man’s name but he hadn’t seen a sign of the kitty. Instead, he’d seen a picture of Alicia and a man, and she’d had a ring on her finger.

He shut his eyes. He was going on this trip and he was going to have fun. The time of his life. He’d party with his pals and find a woman, maybe two. An image of Alicia with her hands bound and her sweet ass in the air tortured him. He opened his eyes to glare out the airplane window. There weren’t that many women as beautiful or as sexually exciting as Alicia. In fact, he wasn’t sure he’d ever been as excited with another woman. She was a powerhouse outside of the bedroom, but in bed she had a sensual submissive streak that made him want to possess her in every way possible.

Beyond the sex, she was intelligent, fun and loved to play games as much as he did. In school she’d worked hard to be the best. She was the perfect partner. And she was a liar, a cheater. The thought left a bitter taste in his mouth. He’d vowed never to get involved with a woman who wasn’t free to be with him wholeheartedly. Not part of the time, or on weekends when the husband was away.

His smartphone buzzed. He glanced at the caller ID. Ed Cunnard, his old friend and one of the guys he was on his way to visit. “Hey, bud.”
