I help him remove his clothes as best I can without losing the contact of his lips on mine. Lifting me up and placing me on my bed, he hovers over me.

“Open your legs for me…wider.” His voice is slow, like a lazy day in the summer.

I shift on the bed into a more comfortable position, his smoldering eyes watching - no, worshiping - my every movement. I reach my hands out to touch him because the ache is so deep.

He shakes his head. “Not yet. I want tonight to be about you, and only you.”

“What are you going to do?”

“I have a taste for an after-dinner snack,” he teases as he lays on his stomach, eye level with my womanhood.

My head feels fuzzy as if I’ve been drinking, and I begin to quiver. He places a calming hand on my trembling stomach. “What’s wrong?”

“I…ugh.” How do I explain this? “I’ve never had someone go down”- I tip my chin - “you know, down there before.” My cheeks warm. Why am I so embarrassed?

If he were a rooster, his feathers would be standing on end. “I just got harder. Didn’t think that was possible.”

  “But-”

“No buts. Just lay your pretty head back and enjoy the ride.”

He places his hands under my ass cheeks and pulls me closer to him, inhaling my scent. “Mmm, you smell like heaven.” Those are the last words I hear because my screams of pleasure drown the rest out.

Hours later, after making love too many times to count, we both lay, panting and sleek with sweat. A delicious odor of sex hangs in the air around us, and it makes me want more. I lightly stroke my fingernails down his back as he licks the side of my neck lazily. “I don’t want to ever lose this feeling.” It comes out of my mouth before I have a chance to stop it. I bury my face in his shoulder.

Pushing up on his elbows, he looks me in my eyes. “I don’t want to, either. I know you felt the connection. Please don’t deny it.”

How can I deny it anymore? “I felt it. I always felt it.”

  “The club?”

  I nod.

“Then why didn’t you admit it?” He smirks at me.

“I couldn’t. I was scared.” It’s the most honest answer I can give.

“And now?” He waits patiently for my reply.

“I’m still scared, but I’m willing to face the possibilities with you,” I admit.

He kisses me gingerly, and we make love well into the early morning hours, before I fall asleep in his arms.

  ****

“Oh, my God.” Jana yells when she opens the door in the morning.

I blink back the sleepiness from my eyes, and my heart leaps because I’m still in Brice’s arms. He hasn’t even stirred from Jana’s yell. “Shhh. He’s still sleeping,” I say, whispering to her, and she gives me a thumbs up.

“I’m not sleeping anymore,” he replies in a deep groggy voice, rubbing one of his hands over his face, his other one still wrapped around me. “What time is it?”

“Eight o’clock,” Jana says in her usual sing-song voice.

“Shit, baby. We only went to sleep about an hour ago,” he complains to me.

“I know.” I stretch in his arms, and let out a little yelp from the soreness below. He smiles at me knowingly.

“Sore?” he whispers in my ear. I nod. “Want me to kiss it and make it better?” He nibbles on my earlobe. All thoughts of Jana standing and watching us leave my head. I’m about to tell him ‘yes please’ when Jana clears her throat.

“I’m standing right here, guys.” She snaps her fingers at us.

Brice and I look at each other and laugh. “Jana, can you give Brice and I a minute? He needs to get dressed.”

“Sure. I need to take a shower anyway.” She grabs her things and leaves us alone in the room.

We begin kissing, and that delicious feeling begins to build up to the point of me wanting more. Soft tingles travel from my toes to my stomach as I try to do a quick mental calculation. Maybe we can squeeze in a quickie. “She’s only in the shower. She can come back soon.” I halfheartedly try to pull away, but he brings me back into him.

“Girls always take forever in the shower,” he murmurs against my lips, in between kisses.

“Well, she won’t. She is going to rush it so she can come in here and ask me questions about you.” My eyes flutter as he kisses me in the right spot. What was I talking about again?

“How long you need with her?” he asks.

How long will I need with what? Oh, that’s right. We were talking about Jana, weren’t we? “I don’t know. I guess I need to shower also. She’ll most likely want to grab breakfast so we can have girl time.”

“Alright. I’ll give you until noon. Come to my dorm, and we can spend the rest of the day in bed. Egon has band rehearsals today.” He kisses me on my jaw, working his way down my neck.

I smile at him. “All day in bed, huh?”

Leaning in, he says, “Yes. Plan on using cushions to sit on tomorrow,” and then winks at me.

Mmmm, the thought does things to my lady parts. “Yes, please.” We kiss again. “We have to stop for real this time. We’re running out of time.”

“Okay. Noon. Don’t make me come look for you, woman,” he jokes as he stands to get dressed.

“Wait,” I call out. He stops just as he is about to pull on his boxers. I get on my knees in front of him, taking his length in my mouth till it hits the back of my throat. Thank goodness for great gag reflexes. I pull my mouth away slowly until I get to the tip, which I give a swirl with my tongue. I slowly stand up with a smile on my face.

“Tease,” he says, pulling me into him, kissing me softly.

Brice is fully dressed, and I’m in my robe already missing his body next to mine. We walk to the door of my room. “Baby. No one else but me. Got it?”

“No one else but you, Brice. I promise. And no one else but me for you.”

He kisses me again. “No one else, baby. I promise.”

Jana bursts through the door, only minutes after Brice leaves.

  “Dish,” she squeals.

  “About?” I joke.

She throws her towel at me. I think she is getting ready to throw her slipper at me next, when I tell her we can have breakfast and talk, after I take a shower. She smiles and bounces around in happiness. I swear, she is just too damn cute at times.

  Chapter 11

  Favor

Brice and I have been officially together for two weeks now. Because of his popularity, we haven’t made it official on campus yet, outside of Egon and Jana. Girls would purposely throw themselves at him just to start a rumor that they took him away. It is a beautiful cocoon that we’re eventually going to have to break.

I’m sitting at one of the campus cafeterias with Jana and Regan eating lunch, and receive a text as I am joking around with the girls.

  Brice: Baby, where are you?

Me: West cafeteria, having lunch with Jana and Regan.

  Brice: On my way.

Five minutes later, he shows up with Egon. The moment the two of them walk into the cafeteria, all eyes are on them. They make quite a striking appearance together. Brice is tall with an athletic build, and he always looks clean and crisp, as if just coming from church. Egon is slightly shorter, but not by much, and he has the bad boy rocker look, with tats up and down his arms and on his neck. Where one is light and airy, the other is dark and mysterious. Brice takes the seat next to me, and Egon sits next to Jana. Everything is going well with our group lunch up until Jana makes a mistake.

“I swear, you and Brice make the cutest couple,” Jana gushes.

  Regan drops her fork. “What?”

Jana quickly realizes her mistake and gives me an apologetic look. I give her a shrug. Hey, it was bound to get out someday. I’m surprised we were able to keep it a secret this long.

“Thanks, Jana. My girl and I think we look cute also,” Brice jokes as he steals a French fry from my plate. His action reminds me of something my brother would
do.

“When did this happen?” Regan asks, as she looks from me to Brice and then back to me again.

“Oh, I guess about two weeks ago. Isn’t that right, babe?” I ask Brice, and he nods his head as he chews another French fry he has stolen from me.

“Oh. Guess that was to be expected,” Regan says, folding her arms over her chest.

“What do you mean?” Jana asks.

“You know, the two most popular kids in school are bound to date one another, but I doubt it’ll last. You have a reputation around campus as a player, Brice,” Regan says, as she looks at him through narrowed eyes.

I open my mouth to lay into her, but Brice, who was holding my hand under the table, gives me a gentle squeeze. “Careful Regan, your claws are showing.”

“Fuck you, Brice,” she snaps angrily.

Brice returns a wave to someone who passes by before he responds. “No, as I recall you offered before, and I turned it down.”

She gets red in the face, as Jana and I give each other a passing glance. Egon laughs, taking a bite of his pizza.

“You’re going to let him talk to me like that?” Regan turns to Egon.

“Yep.” He swallows. “Regan, you’re so caught up in trying to be a version of Favor, it’s sad. Everyone in school knows it. You’re just the only one who hasn’t bought a clue yet.” He reaches into his pocket and flips a quarter to her. “There you go. Now you can go and buy one.” We all erupt in laughter at her.

“I slept with you because I felt sorry for you,” Regan stammers, fighting back the tears.

“I slept with you because I was too lazy to find something better,” he responds back.

  Regan’s mouth drops open.

“And also, if I were you, I would stop repeating that I slept with you. I have a reputation to keep up. I may have to announce what a lousy lay you were,” Egon says, in between bites.

“And loud. Don’t forget loud. Lousy and loud is so much worse,” Brice chimes in for the final kill shot.

Regan storms off, leaving her tray of food on the table. “Babe, that was brutal,” I tell Brice, not feeling sorry for her in the least.

“Bitch deserved it,” he replies with no remorse.

“I never really noticed that she’s really just that mean,” Jana muses.

“Aren’t you a cute little pixie,” Egon says, looking at Jana.

  “Uh, pixie?” Jana asks.

“Yeah, pixie. You’re a cute little pixie.” He leans in closer.

Jana blushes. “I gotta go, guys.” She stands and takes hers and Regan’s trays to empty.

“Wow, the two of you sure know how to clear the table,” I say.

“Who us?” they ask in unison, as they give each other a fist bump.

“Babe, I gotta get to class.” Brice squeezes my hand under the table and stands to leave. Egon remains seated, still working on yet another slice. “Later, man,” he says to Egon as he walks away. But at that moment, I feel the need to cut the crap and make this shit official in front of God and campus. Let’s give the rumor mill something to talk about, damn it.

“Brice,” I yell out, and all eyes turn to me as I stand from the table. I sprint to him, still standing in the middle of the cafeteria, and jump into his arms. We give the crowd a kiss to remember as he swings me around. Everyone is cheering us on. “Guess I just outed us,” I say, smiling into his lips.

“Damn baby, you can out us anytime like that again.” He gives my butt cheeks a squeeze.

“I have an idea. Let’s skip classes and go to bed.”

He gives me a look, letting me know he’s considering it. “God, woman, you’re going to be the death of me.”

“Go to class. When you’re done with practice tonight, come to my dorm.”

He kisses me again. “I will. And baby, get ready to be fucked, and well.” He kisses me one last time before he turns to leave.

Spinning on my heels to walk back to my seat, I bump right into Jameson.

“So it’s official? The two of you?”

“Yes, not that it is any of your business.”

“You know your parents want you with me.” His eyes turn to narrow slits.

“Since when do I listen to what they say?” I try to walk around him, but he steps in front of me.

“Yo, Favor. All good?” Egon calls out as all eyes are on Jameson and me.

I look at Jameson. “Yeah, Egon it’s all good. My buddy Jameson here was just wishing Brice and me all the best wishes for our future together.” I smile at Jameson and walk past him, as hushed whispers flow by me.

  Chapter 12

  Brice

Practice is brutal. Coach has us training harder than usual today. We have a chance at the Championships, and he wants to make sure we are ready for whatever comes at us. I push myself hard on the field, harder than the rest of my teammates. Jameson tries to match me with everything that I do, but I always outdo him. I’m just a better player than he is. Where I feel one with the football, Jameson always manages to look like he’s still trying to remember a play in his head. He may have the family background for football, but this stadium is my house.

I take a quick water break and look up in the stands to see Favor watching me. I think to myself how feasible would it be to grab her, fuck her in the locker room, and get back out on the field before Coach realizes I’m gone. One of my teammates comes over.

“Hey, man. I’ve never seen Favor step foot in the stadium until you two started dating.”

What? Is he checking for my girl? “You’ve been looking for her up there in the bleachers or something?” I ask, ready to tackle him to the ground if he gives me an answer I don’t like.

“Naw, man. It’s just that she has been notorious for avoiding the stadium and football games. She also used to stand firm by her decision that she doesn’t date football players.”

That is true, now that I think back. I never did ask her why that was. I’ll have to remember to ask her one of these days. “Yeah. But hey, I’m not just your ordinary football player,” I say as I flex my muscles.

The cheerleaders out practicing start catcalling. I yell out to them, “Sorry ladies, I’m already taken.”

Some of them act like they are crushed, and others still taunt with whistles. “Hearts all over the campus are breaking,” my teammate says to me.

I place my hand on his shoulder. “Only one heart around here I care about, and she is sitting in the bleachers. Wearing my jacket, waiting for me to warm her bed tonight.”

“Man, you are one lucky son of a bitch. You know how many guys tried to...”

“Don’t say it, bro. Just to put it out there for you and the world to know, I’m a very jealous man. So don’t go putting thoughts in my head. When I hear it, I might take it for truth and start pounding some heads together.”

He backs away with his hands in the air. “No worries, bro.” He jogs back over to the rest of the team, and I stand staring at Favor as she waves to me. I want to run over to her and kiss her right now, but I have the feeling our break is up, and Coach will be calling us back. As if on cue with my thoughts, Coach yells for us to huddle. I give Favor a wave and jog over to my team.

We practice a few more plays and scrimmages. By time Coach calls it a day, we are all dragging tail. I walk over to the bleachers where Favor is sitting with Jana. She steps down onto the field, and I pick her up with one hand and kiss her. “God baby, I missed your mouth.”

“Is that all you missed?” Is she for real? I feel my dick twitch.

“As a matter of fact, it isn’t. I missed being inside you also.”

She licks her lips at my words. God, I love this chick and those lips, and so many other parts of her body. “Hmm, me too. My place or yours tonight?”

“Yours. Egon is bringing home a girl.” As if that’s unusual. Egon brings someone over most nights.

“We should think about getting an apartment for next school year.” She mentions it so quietly I almost miss
what she says.

  “Really, baby?”

Looking me in my eyes, she continues. “Yes. That is, if you want.” For a moment, she seems unsure of her words.

“I want. I really want. Tired of having to either climb out of your bed because Jana comes back or you having to climb out of mine. We need our own place.”

  “Are we talking about this?”

“Looks like it, baby. We can start looking during Spring break. I’ll be done with football by then, except for a few practices here and there. But other than that, I’m all yours.”

She squeals with excitement, and kisses me. “I can’t believe this.”

“So how did you like me at practice?” I joke with her. She hates football, but I fish for a compliment anyway.

“Oh, you looked exquisite. But next time, when you are getting ready to snap, you might want to pull back a little further with that throw. It’ll give you the power that you need.”

Huh? My eyes bug out of my head. “Listen to my baby, talking football to me.” Did I just hear her correctly?

She blushes and leans her head down. “Oh well, I picked up the lingo here and there.”

“Baby, you not only picked up the lingo, but you had the logic down. And you are right about the snap. I was dead tired towards the end, so I was holding back, not giving the full power I could’ve.” Sexy, beautiful, and can talk football? Would people stare if I got on my hands and knees and kissed her feet?

“I knew it.” She giggles with delight. I grab her around her waist to pull her into me so I can sneak a quick nibble on her ear. Perhaps I can get her to giggle for me again.

“Hey, Brice. I’ve got some plays that I want to go over with you tomorrow,” Coach interrupts as he walks closer to us.

“Oh hey, Coach. This is my girl, Favor Fontaine. Favor, this is Coach Vega.”

“Hi Favor. I never met you before, but I knew your old man, and I coached your brother.”

What? I turn to look at her, and she looks away. “Yeah well, Favor was giving me some football tips.” I try to cover my shock.

“Well, she would know, what with her father being Kyne Hollister, and all. How is Kyne?”
