Estevez grinned sourly. “Glad you feel that way. She’s your new partner.”
“What?” roared Travis.
“Seems little Debbie was so impressed by your performance that she’s decided to become an Op. Daddy’s bought the whole agency. She starts Monday.”
Travis threw the coffee cup at Estevez who ducked it with practised ease and scuttled out the door.
For a while the lounge was silent except for the sound of Travis slowly and methodically banging his head on the wall.
