“Can’t or won’t.”
“Can’t. If I do, they’ll kill her.” She sobs into the quiet night.
Knowing I’m not going to get anywhere with her tonight, I scoop Alyssa up into my arms and carry her weeping body into the house. I head right for my room and thankfully no one spots us. I must get information from her but right now she needs a comforting body to take her mind off what’s going on. I need to get her to trust me.
I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that whatever’s going on with her, won’t end well for either of us. But I have to help her. It’s ingrained into my soul. Redemption is near and any mother fucker who crosses me or my club will pay the ultimate price.

Wife and mother of two who are very active in soccer, basketball and football. When I’m not cheering them on (OK, yelling my heart out and embarrassing the heck out of them) from the sidelines or bleachers with my husband, you’ll find me writing, reading, running (when the weather is warm) or riding on the back of my husband’s Harley.
I was born and raised in Central New York where most of my family still reside in a small town between two mountains.
