Ruled by her Daddies

He grinned. “I love how eager you are. You can consider this part of this punishment for putting yourself down. Having to wait to get release.”

  That was mean.

“I’m still going to spank you though. Just because I can. But that will wait until you’re better. I’ll get Wolfe to note it down.”

“Are you . . . are you a Dominant?” she asked hesitantly.

“Does that scare you?” he asked leaning away from her to sit on the bed, facing her. She immediately missed his closeness. “If I am?”

“Maybe,” she whispered. “Do you go to clubs? Do you like tying women up and hurting them?”

“First of all, anything like that would be fully consensual. There would be negotiations about what I could and couldn’t do. Limits I would adhere to. And a safeword just in case. But I’m not really about clubs or scening. You ever heard of age play? Daddy Doms? Littles?”

  “Not really.”

“Well, I’m a Daddy Dom. Aleki too.”

  “But not Wolfe?”

“Wolfe is trickier. He enjoys watching Littles playing, the way they interact with their Tops. But he’s never participated. Never had a Little. He knows he’d struggle to emotionally connect with someone. That’s why we work well together.”

  “What do you mean?”

He brushed her hair back off her face. “I mean that the three of us intend to share one woman. One Little.”

Share? Holy. Hell. It was all she’d dreamed of. Having the three of them. And some other lucky bitch was gonna get what was once hers.

“Have you ever shared someone?” she whispered, feeling her heart fall into pieces.

“No, we’ve never found someone special. It took us a while to come to the realization that this is what we wanted. What we needed. And being with three guys like us isn’t for everyone.”

“Who wouldn’t want to be with you three?” she defended hotly.

He grinned, satisfaction filling his face. “We’re all dominant. Each of us can be demanding in our own way. Three men to please, three men to discipline her, three men to coddle and protect her. Well, Wolfe doesn’t coddle. But he’s a born protector. Three Daddies to indulge her. To play with her. To tip her over their knees when she’s naughty.”

  She gulped at the thought.

She wanted that. All of it. Even though she didn’t completely understand the Daddy/Little stuff.

“How do you know you’re a Little?” she whispered.

“That’s a good question. And it’s not a one-size-fits-all, either. What feels like Little space to you, might not be what someone else experiences. And that’s okay. You don’t have to fit into a box, or tick off everything on a checklist. You need to be you. That’s more than enough.”

She had to blink back tears at his words.

“Some Littles like being Little all the time. Others don’t. Some might like dressing in cute clothes. Maybe they want to color or play with dolls or trucks or blocks. Perhaps they go younger and want bottles and pacifiers. Maybe they want a mix of both.”

It sounded strange. And yet at the same time, appealing.

“For a Little, it can be about letting go of their adult worries and fears. They’re able to exist in a more carefree state. Like a submissive might feel when they let their Dominant take control. It gives them permission to let go.”

“So a Little could just spend the time playing? And they’d have a Daddy to look after them?”

“Or a Mommy or Caregiver. Someone who helps them find that headspace if need be. Who gives them a sense of security. Who allows them to be in Little space because they’ll take care of the big decisions. They’ll set the rules and reinforce them if necessary. Often a caregiver will ensure the Little has eaten, gotten plenty of sleep, is happy and healthy and safe.”

Could she be a Little? She sometimes felt herself slip into a more childlike role. When she was alone and didn’t want to think about everything. Sometimes, she’d put a twirly dress on and sing or skip around that lonely house with Piggles. She’d suck her thumb if she was feeling unsure or scared.

“I just wanted you to know about us and our needs, so you could be fully informed.”

Fully informed? What did that mean? Before she could ask, the door opened and Aleki walked in, carrying a paper bag. Wolfe was behind him, carrying a bowl.

“Everything okay in here?” Aleki asked, his gaze zeroing in on her.

“She looks flushed. Does she have a temperature?” Wolfe set the bowl of soup down on the table next to her and placed his hand over her forehead. “Maybe we should get that idiot doctor back in here.”

  “I’m fine. I don’t have a temperature.”

“She’s just flushed from being aroused,” Caleb announced as he climbed off the bed and took one of the burritos Aleki offered him. He sat on the chair closest to the bed.

She gaped at him. Shit. He did not just say that!

“And she’s a bit embarrassed.” He winked at her.

  The big dipshit.

“Really?” Aleki drawled. He moved to the other side of her bed and sat in the chair, putting his feet up on the bed as he opened another burrito. “Do tell.”

“I was just explaining to our naughty girl that putting herself down wasn’t allowed. Hmm, Wolfe can you make a note that I owe her a spanking for that when she’s better.”

“Yep.” Wolfe drew a small notebook from his pocket.

She attempted to pinch herself. Without even looking at her, Wolfe’s hand shot out to grab her wrist. “No.”

  “No?”

  His gaze met hers. “No.”

  Shoot.

“We also had a chat about age play,” Caleb added. “She knows we’re Daddy Doms.”

“Good,” Aleki said with satisfaction. “Now she knows what she’s getting into.”

Getting into? She wasn’t getting into anything.

“I need a napkin for you,” Wolfe muttered, lifting his gaze away from where he now stirred the soup. The kale soup.

  Ick.

“Actually, a bib would work better. I’ll go find something.”

“Caleb needs a spoon too,” she called out.

  Wolfe nodded and left.

“I’ll pay you a hundred dollars if you pour the soup out and give me one of those burritos,” she said seriously.

Aleki grinned at her. “Aww, but kale soup is so good for you.”

“I don’t notice you eating it.”

“Because I’m not sick,” Aleki said cheerfully. “And Wolfe is too busy fussing over you to care what I eat. This arrangement is going to work out well for me.”

  Arrangement? What arrangement?

Before she could ask, Wolfe was back. And he had what looked to be a huge rubber bib in his hand.

“I don’t need that,” she squeaked as Wolfe set it over her chest.

“Yes, you do. In case you make a mess.”

“I’ve been feeding myself for years without making a mess.”

“But you’re not feeding yourself. I’m feeding you. Lean forward so I can do it up at the back.”

  “No way,” she replied stubbornly.

Wolfe leaned down to stare at her. His gaze was firm. “Excuse me?”

A shiver ran over her. Excitement. A little concern.

“Sit forward, little girl. Before I have to get strict with you.”

“Shit,” Aleki whispered. “So he does have it in him.”

This felt odd coming from Wolfe. She expected indifference, dislike.

“And what will you do if I don’t?” she challenged.

“When you’re better, I’ll strip off your panties and lay you over my lap for ten smacks of my hand. Then when your ass is pink, I’ll put you in the corner of the room, your bottom pushed out and on display for me to study. When you’re feeling apologetic for disobeying me, I’ll have you come over, kneel between my legs, and suck me off. Then if I feel you’ve been a good girl in accepting your punishment, I’ll get you off with
my face between your legs.”

Her mouth was open as she stared at him. “So, I guess I’ll sit forward then.”

“Interesting choice.” But he did up the bib and as she sat back, she wondered if she hadn’t made the wrong choice. She wondered if all that intensity and thoroughness with which he did everything else would cross over to giving punishment and pleasure.

  Holy. Crap.

Wolfe reached over and pushed Aleki’s feet off her bed.

  “Hey!” Aleki complained.

“Feet don’t belong on a bed,” Wolfe told him.

“Yeah? Then how do you sleep? With your feet over the edge?” Aleki asked.

Wolfe narrowed his gaze. “Shoes don’t belong on a bed.”

Aleki grumbled but kept his feet off the bed.

Wolfe sat on the bed facing her. He spooned up some soup and blew on it before checking the temperature. “Nearly too cold. Try it. I can reheat it.”

She opened her mouth and he fed her a spoonful. Okay, that was surprisingly good. She wasn’t sure how he was managing to make meals like this. But it was Wolfe. He was capable of just about anything.

  “It’s fine. It’s good.”

“Here, give me a taste. I said I’d eat some if she did.” Caleb held out a hand for the bowl and Wolfe gave him one of the spoons. He ate some then nodded. “Not too bad.” He handed the bowl back to Wolfe.

She wasn’t sure if she should encourage Wolfe’s obsession with that list of doctor-approved food.

A girl couldn’t live on healthy food alone.

“Where did you get this bib?” she asked.

“The nurse had it. Apparently, they have had other patients who need help eating.”

Finally, she was full and she shook her head. Setting the spoon down, he walked into the bathroom and returned with a wet, warm washcloth which he used to wipe her face and hands.

Oh. That was quite nice. Feeling full and relaxed, she sat forward so he could undo the bib without a word of protest. Then her gaze met Caleb’s and she stiffened at the serious look on his face.

“Ready to tell us what’s going on?”

No. But she had to tell them. Some of it anyway.

“I don’t know where to start.”

“At the beginning,” Wolfe said, pulling over a chair.

  Right. The beginning.

“All right, well, you all know my mom died when I was six?”

  They all nodded.

“We’ve never been close, he mostly left me with nannies growing up. He didn’t seem to care much about what I did as long as I didn’t create any scandals or get arrested. But my second year of college, he started getting really weird. He wanted to know where I was. He became short-tempered. I asked him if he wanted me to move out at one stage and he got so mad I thought he was going to hit me. I never brought that up again. But after that night, I grew scared of him.”

  She swallowed.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Aleki asked.

“I guess I’m used to bottling things up. And I figured after college, I’d get a job, move out. And then he told me that I was to apply for Yale.”

“Wait, you didn’t want to go there?” Caleb asked.

“And be so far away from you guys? No. I told him I wouldn’t. That time, he really did hit me.”

“Fuck!” Aleki stood and started pacing.

“You should have told us.” Caleb looked at her with tortured eyes.

She licked her dry lips. Suddenly, Wolfe was by her side, holding out the straw so she could take a sip of water. He was being surprisingly quiet.

“I know,” she whispered. “But I was scared.”

“Of him hurting you?” Caleb asked.

“Yes, and who else he might hurt. He told me that if I didn’t apply to Yale that he’d cut me off completely. No money. No further education. I could stand that. But he also said he’d ensure that everyone in my life paid the price for my disobedience. I applied to buy myself time to figure out what to do. I didn’t think I would even get in. But then the acceptance letter came and he told me to pack my bags.”

  She rubbed her temples.

“On the one hand, there was relief at getting to leave. On the other hand, there were the three of you. I told him I wasn’t going. He said that if I didn’t leave and break things off with Aleki, then he would destroy your lives. He said he could easily take away your acceptance into BUD/s training. That he could ruin Caleb’s parents’ business, that he could make sure Aleki’s parents and siblings lost their jobs.”

  “He did what?” Caleb whispered.

“That fucking bastard,” Aleki growled. “What the fuck?”

“He’s ex-Navy, a decorated hero, he’s rich. He has a lot of power. He might not have been the Governor back then, but he had friends in high places. I knew he could do it.”

“Shit!” Aleki swore. “I can’t believe I didn’t know this! That I didn’t question you. I was too busy feeling sorry for myself, thinking you broke things off because I wasn’t good enough for you.”

“What?” She gaped at Aleki. “If anything, it was the other way around, Aleki, you’re the most giving, loving, amazingly talented person I know.”

“Fuck.” Aleki stood and leaned in, gathering her up into his arms. He held her cradled against his chest, kissing the top of her head. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”

She patted his arm. “You have nothing to be sorry for.”

  “I do. If you only knew what I thought . . . and when we found you, I was so cold to you . . . I just . . .”

  “It’s okay. I get it.”

“I wish you’d told us,” Caleb said. “Your father isn’t as powerful as he thinks he is. He might have created trouble, but nothing we couldn’t have gotten through.”

“He looked crazed. Wild. I was worried that he wouldn’t just create trouble, but that he’d go even further. That he might hurt one of you. I couldn’t risk it.” She twisted her fingers together. “I figured you’d be better off without me anyway.”

“I wasn’t,” Aleki told her, pulling back to stare down at her. “I was never whole without you.”

She reached up with a shaking hand to cup his cheek. “Aleki, you’re breaking my heart.”

“Did you forget me? Did you move on with William?” Aleki spat out.

“How could I? When I was made to be with him.”

“What?” Wolfe whispered. The sound was deadly. Sharp. And she flinched. “You didn’t want to marry him?”

“I told you all that I didn’t like him much.”

“Yes,” Caleb said. “But we thought that came later. Why did you marry him?”

  “Because I was forced to.”

Aleki’s insides were being torn apart.

Fuck. All this time he’d loved her and hated her in almost equal measure. And she’d been living a life of fear. Just to keep him safe.

Didn’t she understand that was his job?

He’d accepted her rejection so easily. He hadn’t fought for her.

“Aleki, why don’t you put her down,” Caleb suggested.

He didn’t want to. He wanted to keep her in his arms forever. But it wasn’t just him and her now. He knew how Caleb felt about her. Even Wolfe was fucking obsessed with her. This was Vivi. She was different. She always had been.

  She was theirs.

And now that they had her back, nothing would take her from them again.

He set her reluctantly down on the bed, knowing he couldn’t be selfish with her. In Escana, polyamory was the norm, not the exception. But this sort of relationship didn’t allow for much jealousy or hogging the pretty girl.

“Your father forced you to marry him?” Caleb asked once she was settled.

“William was the assistant district attorney at the time. I came home for the holidays and he asked me out. I didn’t really want to go, but I figured it would get me away from the house and my father. But his touch made me feel ill. I didn’t want anything to
do with him. I went back to Yale and forgot about him. Then my father decided to run for Governor. With William on his ticket as Lieutenant Governor.”

She twisted her fingers together. “I often dreamed of leaving. Going somewhere no one knew me. I figured if I could just finish my degree, I’d have better prospects. So I played the dutiful daughter in public when necessary and ignored him the rest of the time. I’d just graduated with my law degree and I’d gone home to pack up my things. I had a job and apartment lined up in Houston. My father said someone important was coming to dinner. That I should dress nice. I figured it didn’t hurt to cooperate. I arrived downstairs and found William there.”

She rubbed a hand over her face and the sick feeling in Aleki’s stomach grew. “Imagine my shock when my father informed me that we were now engaged. That he’d arranged it all. We’d get married in about a year. How the press would lap it up.”

“That fucking asshole,” Aleki spat out.

“What was in it for William?” Caleb asked.

“He was my father’s lapdog,” she said bitterly. “It furthered his career. He also told me later on that my father had something on him. Something that kept him doing what my father wanted. He never said what it was.”

“What did you do?” Caleb asked.

“I told my father no way in hell. I didn’t need his money or him. That I was going to leave.” She swallowed. “He told me that it would be a shame if something happened to my friends while they were serving.”

“Motherfucker,” Aleki muttered. “He used us to make you marry that bastard?”

  “That was part of it.”

  “Just part?” Caleb asked.

She looked at them all. Wolfe was now standing at the end of the bed, staring down at her like he’d never seen her before. Aleki was up and pacing, while Caleb sat closest to her.

“We can deal with your father, jelly bean. He’s not as powerful as he thinks. He’s the Governor, not God,” Caleb told her.

She shook her head. “That’s not all. If only it was just my father, I wouldn’t be so scared.”

“So what else is it?” Caleb pressed. “Does it have to do with why you were shot and ended up half-dead in an alleyway?”

“My life is so screwed up,” she whispered. Then she ran a shaky hand over her face.
