The following night, everyone left the office around 7:00, leaving Cassie and Jason there alone. Jason changed into jeans and a plaid shirt, making sure to leave the first few buttons unbuttoned. He walked into her office and offered Cassie a small smile.

  “You ready?”

Cassie looked up at him and was surprised at his change in outfit. His plaid shirt fit around his arms and shoulders perfectly to show off his physique. His jeans were a dark wash and sat comfortably on his narrow waist. She stopped herself from her fantasizing.

  “Yes, I am ready, sir.”

She stood up, attempting to control her shaking body, nervous that they were the only two in the office. When she stepped forward, her foot caught on her purse nestled against her desk and she tripped. The next thing she knew, she was on the ground. Jason ran up to her.

“Are you okay?” he asked as he lifted her to sit up. She could feel the muscles in his arms against her back.

“Yeah, I’m okay. I just didn’t see my purse there,” she laughed at herself, blushing even more.

“It’s all right, it’s fine,” Jason told her. “Just take a second to catch your breath.”

Jason found himself feeling more nurturing than usual. He rubbed her back a little, which wasn’t helping Cassie calm down at all. He looked down at Cassie as she cupped her face in her hands.

“Come on, let’s go into the conference room,” he beckoned to her and helped her up off of the ground.

They both stood up and walked into the conference room. There was a computer at the end of the table and paper files that were stacked next to it. They both took a seat; Cassie was caught off guard when Jason chose to sit at the chair directly next to her.

Jason began explaining the procedure for the files to Cassie. He tried to sound as professional and business-like as possible as to stay focused on the work that needed to be accomplished, but his thoughts still returned to Cassie.

She sat there listening to him, nodding her head and asking questions. Her hair kept falling in her face and she eventually tied her hair back, accentuating her cheekbones and allowing her hazel almond-shaped eyes to be more visible.

Cassie forced every ounce of her effort into focusing on what Jason was saying, but she continuously found herself focusing more on his lips and how smoothly they moved when he spoke, imagining what they felt like.

She loved the stubble on his cheeks and how his hair was always gelled over to the side for a clean look. His voice swam through her ears like a lullaby.

He spoke with his hands a lot, waving them in front of him. They were big, masculine hands and she was sure they were strong. He wore his college class ring on his right ring finger that sat nicely under his knuckle.

“Now, let me show you the files over here,” Jason said as he stood up from his chair, lightly brushing against Cassie’s leg.

Cassie stood up to follow him but she lost her balance again and just as she was about to fall backwards, Jason caught her. She looked up at him and he held her for a moment. Their eyes met and they remained there, frozen.

“I’m a little clumsy today,” Cassie lightly laughed.

  “It’s okay, I’ve got you.”

They continued to lock their eyes. Jason guided her hips with his hands to turn around to face him and he slowly slid his hands up onto her waist.

She worked through her thumping heartbeat to raise her arms and place her hands over his forearms, feeling his muscles tense under his shirt. They both looked into each other’s eyes, down to the other’s lips, and back up again. Jason leaned in, closed his eyes and their lips met.

They both drew in a deep breath. Cassie wrapped her hands around Jason’s neck and moved them to rest on the side of his neck. Jason slid his hands up and down Cassie’s waist taking in those curves he had been craving.

Jason turned Cassie so she was pushed against the wall and rested one hand on the wall behind her, holding Cassie in place.

They stayed intertwined, exploring each other’s bodies. Cassie pushed Jason forward and twirled him around so his back was against the wall. They remained passionately kissing, their breaths quickening with every movement.

After several more seconds, Cassie began to unbutton the first button on Jason’s shirt that was still fastened. She pulled the little button out of its place and exposed Jason’s smooth chest even more. She started working on the next button.

“Wait, Cassie,” Jason said, catching his breath.

“Oh, what’s wrong?” Cassie asked, removing her hands from his buttons.

“I think the custodial staff comes in soon.”

Cassie sighed and kept her hands hugging his waist.

“Okay, maybe next time,” Cassie winked at Jason.

  Chapter 3

The next morning Jason and Cassie arrived at work, and after about an hour, Jason knocked on Cassie’s door. He walked in and shut the door behind him. Cassie’s heart began to flutter in anticipation for whatever was about to happen.

“Cassie,” Jason began. “You don’t have to do any overtime tonight. Instead, take tonight off and how about tomorrow night I make us a nice dinner at my place since it’s Friday?”

Cassie smiled down at the floor at the thought. Just a day ago she was afraid of the man who was asking her on a date.

  “I would love to.”

Jason walked around her desk and leaned down to Cassie. He held her cheeks with his hands and kissed her slow and soft, cherishing every moment of their touch. Cassie wrapped her arms around his neck and stood up, continuing the kiss. Cassie thought the kiss felt different now.

Last night, it was exciting and almost lustful, but at that moment she felt that Jason’s kiss was nothing but genuine and loving. He looked at her straight in her eyes when they pulled away, not breaking contact for several moments and Jason offered her a kind smile.

“Now get to work,” Jason told her as he tapped her booty.

The rest of the day dragged on and both of their minds were not focused on anything but their date for the following evening. They passed each other in the halls of the office and politely nodded or did the “how’s it going?” as naturally as humanely possible so as to not give away anything to their coworkers.

The following day passed even more slowly for the two. Jason held off visiting Cassie in her office as long as he could since he knew once he did, the rest of the day would be filled even more with thoughts of his beautiful secretary. Finally, around 1:00, he couldn’t help himself. He stood up from his desk and marched right into Cassie’s office.

When he first entered, Cassie was hard at work, typing at her computer and only looked up for a moment for a quick smile and mumbled hello. Jason closed the door behind him again and walked behind her, massaging her shoulders as she typed.

“How are you today?” he asked.

  “I’m alright, what’s up?”

“Just wanted to stop in and say hello, that’s all.”

Cassie continued typing, adding on to the e-mail she was replying to. She was silent and acted as if she didn’t fully notice that Jason was in the room.

“What’s wrong, Cass?” Jason asked as he kissed her cheek.

Cassie nervously smiled and finally stopped typing. She turned around and looked at Jason, her eyes glassy and fighting tears.

  “I’m moving. Far.”

Jason’s eyes widened and he knelt down to her level.

“What do you mean, you’re moving?”

“I never got to really tell you but I’ve applied to go back to school and I just received the acceptance letter last night.”

Tears began streaming down her cheeks and she stared at Jason, anticipating his response.

“Well that’s wonderful,” he said as he caressed her leg. “Congratulations. What school are you going to?”

  “It’s in England.”

Cassie turned around for a tissue on her desk and wiped her tears.

“Cassie, it’s okay, you don’t have to cry.
That’s great that you’re going back to school.”

“But I want to be close to you.”

“Cassie, we’ll figure it out. Don’t worry about that now. Are you still interested in coming over tonight?”

“Yeah,” Cassie replied through her tears.

Jason held on to both of her knees, kneeling in front of her and leaned forward to kiss her. She couldn’t get enough of his sweet soft kisses.

  Chapter 4

That night Jason had dinner ready by the time Cassie arrived. They sat at the table, talking as usual and enjoying their dinner. Cassie loved how Jason would look up at her with that smile that gave her goose bumps.

She noticed that night how he had little dimples on his cheeks that formed when he laughed really hard and she loved that about him.

She was gradually falling for him and a pain hit her stomach every time she felt more feelings towards him as England loomed in the back of her mind.

Dinner ended and Jason cleared the plates at the table. He joined her again and refilled their wine glasses.

“Why don’t we move to the couch where it’s more comfortable,” he offered.

They sat on the couch, nestled into each other’s bodies and were silent. They enjoyed the sound of each other’s breathing and watching their hands clasped together.

Cassie literally felt like she was on cloud 9; the couch was so soft and she bet to herself that it was probably worth the same amount as her year’s rent for her apartment. His house was more simple and normal than she expected, considering his occupation. She liked how he was so modest.

Jason lifted Cassie’s chin with his hand and gently kissed her. What began as a light kiss turned into a more passionate kiss; their hearts began to race and blood pumped through their veins quicker by the minute.

Before Cassie knew it, Jason unbuttoned his shirt and took it off, revealing his smooth, strong chest and she was in awe. She rested her hand on his shoulder and slid her hand down to his stomach, studying every inch of his skin and loving how strong he felt.

She began to remove her shirt and Jason assisted. They both threw their shirts on the ground next to them. Jason took her in, loving every curve on her body and kissing her bare skin. Cassie laughed quietly.

  “What’s wrong?”

“I just never thought someone like you would actually be into me. I mean, look at you,” she said, nodding her head at his naked torso.

  “Cassie, you are beautiful.”

Cassie knew that he meant it. He held a straight face and maintained eye contact until he was sure she believed him. Jason kissed her more on her neck, and moved up to her lips as he guided her on her back. After a moment, Jason paused.

“Let’s take this in my room.”

The two leaped off of the couch and hustled down the hall to Jason’s bedroom. They jumped onto his bed, laughing and kissing each other, wrestling into the sheets.

After a moment, Cassie sat up and began unzipping his jeans and slowly removed them, being sure not to miss any moment. Jason helped Cassie remove her pants and they lied there admiring each other’s bodies, softly kissing.

Jason wrapped his arm around Cassie to hold the small of her back and his warmth was overwhelming to her. She pressed her chest against his and she could feel his heartbeat. He lightly kissed her head and she smiled, holding onto his waist.

They looked up at each other and grinned, thinking about how much they had been anticipating this moment. Jason wrapped his arms around her tighter and kissed her hard. He then pulled her up on top of him and pushed one of her bra straps down off of her shoulder.

He reached behind her to unfasten the hooks in the back and he threw the bra on the ground. He cupped her breasts in his hands, loving how tender they were. She pressed herself on to him more as they kissed, breathing more heavily than ever now.

Jason slid his hands down to remove his boxers and as he was doing so, Cassie took off her panties, hesitating for a moment. She hopped back on top of him and the warmth of their naked bodies made them kiss longer, harder, and deeper.

Cassie rocked back and forth and when Jason finally found himself inside of her, she gripped onto his shoulders even harder and paused to inhale sharply.

He rolled over so she was on her back and he sat up as he plunged into her. She moaned softly and he admired her bare body, gripping lightly on her waist.

Jason leaned down, resting his chest on her breasts and kissed Cassie, continuing to move in and out of her slowly. Cassie played with his hair and smiled, memorizing every moment, never wanting to forget it.

She then pushed him up and returned back on top of him, straddling her legs on either side of his hips. She planted her hands next to his shoulders and slid up and down with her hips, sending chills down Jason’s body.

She continued for several minutes, making Jason beam with pleasure. She moaned to him and made him want her even more. He directed her hips with his hands, moving her up and down.

He was nearing climax and wanted to last much longer. He squeezed Cassie and motioned for her to slow down and lay next to him. He pulled her in close to him and they lied in each other’s arms, their legs intertwined.

“I’ve been thinking ever since yesterday when you told me about you moving to England for school.”

“Yes?” Cassie questioned, catching her breath.

“I’ve decided, and only if you really want me to, I can move there with you.”

Cassie laughed and took a second to understand what she was hearing.

“I’m serious, Cassie. I want to be with you. I don’t have to work anymore. I have everything I need. But once you move, I’ll be missing one thing.”

Jason smiled at her and she began to blush.

  “You’re sure?”

  “Yes, I am positive.”

Jason stared at Cassie, patiently waiting for her response. Cassie smiled and nodded several times and kissed Jason on the cheek. He found her lips and kissed her, holding their lips in place, feeling every jolt of energy burst through their bodies. Cassie felt a tear drop leave her eyes and it landed on Jason’s arm.

“Now, perhaps we might like a cup of tea after our love making,” Jason said in his best English accent.

Cassie laughed and wiped away her tears, and they didn’t leave his bed until morning.

  Chapter 1

No wonder that was the biggest punishment I had ever received from my family. Yes, I was a difficult child and an even more difficult teenager.

Of course, I liked sneaking out of the house to attend all those crazy parties that my friends were hosting and yes, I was clearly caught drunk in my room one night.

But, I never thought that they would put me through such a disappointment, just to teach me a lesson. I should have gone to college, follow a certain career and above all, live my early years.

Instead, my father, a very strict and rough man, decided to talk his best friend into hiring me to work at his son’s law firm.

Of course I was meant to do the lower work, as I had to learn about responsibility and about not having anything on a silver plate. We were a rich family, but they weren’t willing to give me anything without work anymore.

I knew for whom I was about to work. He often visited our place with his father, having long, boring dinners with my father, as they were partners in a business. What a spoiled and fancy young man he was! But definitely handsome.

/>   I was always trying not to participate in those kinds of dinners, because he used to intimidate me with only one look. His blue eyes, brown hair, chocolate skin and cold attitude, they were all really attractive. If you were to ask me, I have always been attracted to the “bad-boy” kind. And he was like that for sure!

Well, yes! My father was sending me to his office, to be his new secretary. I was imagining that being a secretary wasn’t really a big deal, but being HIS secretary was really something terrifying.

His father was mentioning so many times that his son and my new boss was firing secretaries on a daily basis, because none was good enough for him. He was a real playboy, so they not only had to be smart, but also in the 90-60-90 range, I guess.

I was all that and I had to prove my potential, work for a week or two and get out of there to college, where I belonged.

First day at work was totally crazy. Thinking I could get off with some little work was totally wrong. Never so much with my mini dress. I bet he didn’t even notice it.

And when his father mentioned he was rude, he was surely underestimating the real situation.

He wasn’t rude, he was monstrous!

How could anyone get up in the morning with so much negativity?

“Mister bad mood” was his middle name!

Throwing papers at me, telling me I was no good, wanting tons of reports done in a short notice, calling me “incapable” and “lazy” were part of an ordinary day at work. It was supposed to be quiet…wasn’t I the daughter of his father’s partner? Wasn’t I supposed to receive a better and yet preferential treatment?

After one week, there I was, standing in front of his desk, holding my resignation proudly in my hand. Of course my father didn’t know about that! I was planning of escaping the city, moving out of town, and getting into the University I had finally received my acceptance letter from.

He entered his office with a calm and quiet cast, smiling as he was approaching me. I was smiling back defiantly because I knew that what I had for him was better than what he was thinking to have for me.
