“We’ll have to worry about the cameras later, pretty baby. Let’s get Crew, Haven, and all the others out of this mess first.” Bailey swallowed thickly and then started to undress.

“We’ve been missing you, Gav. Where you been hiding yourself?” Dirk asked as he ran his nose up the side of Crew’s neck.

“Don’t move, Haven, please,” Crew begged using the mating link.

“We don’t have time for this now, man. We need to get the cash and get out before someone contacts the police,” J.C. said angrily.

“You’re right, darlin’. We need to get out of here. I say we take our cock slut here with us,” Dirk said and pushed the barrel of the gun against Crew’s chest. “We use our little cum dump here as a shield if we have any problems.”

“Great idea. We take him as a hostage. The feds will never realize he’s actually our man. We use him as a hostage to get away and then the three of us take off. We don’t need to stay around here anymore. We have Gavin now, so let’s get the cash and get the hell out of Dodge.”

“You,” Dirk said coldly, turning his attention to Haven. “Take that bag and go behind the cashier counter. Empty each drawer into it and then bring it back here to me. Do it without any problems and your lover boy here won’t get a bullet in his gut. Do it in under a minute and I’ll think about leaving his sexy ass behind.”

“How do I know I can trust what you say?” Haven asked through clenched teeth.

  “You don’t.”

Haven and Dirk stared daggers at each other for a few moments, and then Haven snatched the sac out of J.C.’s hands. “And make sure you don’t grab any of the dye packs.” He gave Crew one last look and then headed behind the counter. He opened the waist-high door and spotted a small light-brown wolf under the counter. He didn’t let anything show on his face that he had seen the animal. The wolf froze, eyes bugged out. He looked at Haven and continued to move again. He crawled silently along the wall under the counter and stopped under the red button. Haven quickly put the money from two of the drawers into the sac and at the same time kept an eye on the wolf. The little guy stopped about halfway down and raised his nose. He pressed it against a small red button there and then pulled away. He gave Haven a look and Haven swore the little guy smiled at him. That is if wolves could actually smile. The wolf turned, keeping his body as close to the wall as possible, and headed toward the other door. Haven cleaned out two more drawers as he watched the wolf from the corner of his eye. The little guy carefully, quietly, opened the swinging door enough to slide through.

Haven caught a glimpse of Lexi on the other side, crouched down as low as he could to the floor, down the hallway. He kept his face neutral, but smiled bright on the inside. Bailey had managed to set off the silent alarm, which meant the authorities were on their way. Haven finished cleaning out the drawers and went through the same swinging door that Bailey had gone through. His gaze met Lexi’s briefly and he gave him an indiscernible nod. “Baby, Bailey managed to hit the silent alarm. We need to find a way to keep them here until the authorities arrive,” Haven explained to Crew using the mating link.

Haven walked back to where the men were holding Crew. He raised his arm and held out the bag to Dirk. As Dirk went to grab it, Haven released it and dropped it to the floor.

“Do you have a death wish, tough guy?” Dirk growled the words at him.

“No, I just figured you might want to check to make sure I didn’t put any dye packs in. But then again, you can trust me,” Haven said with a malicious grin.

“Darlin’, check the bag,” Dirk ordered, but kept his eyes on Haven.

J.C. knelt down beside the bag and peered inside. He shifted the money around a few times, then stood up, bag in hand. “It’s clean.”

“Smart man,” Dirk said to Haven. He turned the gun in Haven’s direction and pulled the trigger. People screamed at the sound. Haven’s body jolted back and he hit the floor. A small red spot appeared in his shirt. It began to grow larger and darker as blood soaked the material.

“No!” Crew yelled and headed toward Haven, only to be brought up short when Dirk grabbed his arm. Crew swung around to face his former lover, his eyes full of pain and rage. “Why did you do that?” he growled.

Dirk gave him a menacing look. “I can tell he’s had you. No one touches what belongs to me unless I say so.”

“I will kill you for this,” Crew said back with so much venom that it made Dirk take a step back and his scowl dropped for a moment.

Dirk straightened his shoulders and the mask of evil was back in place. He pressed the gun to Crew’s belly and seethed in his face, “You belong to us. Now let’s go. Unless you want me to put a few more holes in him and then start shooting these nice law-abiding citizens.”

“Don’t go with them, Crew.” He heard Lexi’s warning in his head, using the pack link.

“I have to get them away from Haven and all these humans. Once we’re far enough away, I’ll shift and rip them apart,” Crew answered him.

“Crew, you shouldn’t do this alone.”

“What other choice do I have right now, Lex? Just make sure you and Bailey are safe, and make sure Haven is okay. Get him to Jesse and Noah.”

“I hear sirens in the distance,” J.C. announced. “We need to move now!”

“Let’s go,” Dirk tightened his grip on Crew’s arm and the three of them headed for the door.

“We have a problem, Alpha,” Lexi said as he met Micah and the enforcers when they got out of their cars.

“What is it, Lexi?” Micah asked as they all moved closer to the police line.

“I had Bailey shift so he could crawl under the counter and hit the alarm button. I tried to get to the security tape before the cops showed up, but I didn’t make it in time.”

  “Shit. We need that video.”

“Mr. Angel?” a voice came from behind Lexi.

  “Yes,” they all answered.

The man stopped for a second, eyeing all of them. “The Mr. Angel who was in the bank at the time of the robbery.”

“That’s me,” Lexi said and held up his hand.

“I’m Special Agent DeLuca, with the FBI.” He introduced himself and flashed his badge. “I need to ask you a few more questions about the third accomplice.”

“There was no third accomplice. It was just the two asshats in the masks,” Lexi responded.

“The other victims stated that a third man named Gavin left with the two suspects. The bank manager thinks he may have been involved. He said he had never seen the man before, but today he came in with the shooting victim and introduced himself as a Crew Angel. The manager was expecting a Crew Angel to come in to take care of a business transaction for a Micah Angel.”

“Yeah, so? How does that make him an accomplice?” Lexi asked angrily.

“The manager stated that only Mr. Micah Angel or Mr. Dante Calebrese ever handled that account before today.”

“Excuse me, Agent DeLuca,” Micah interrupted. The agent looked at him. “Maybe I can help clear that up.”

  “And who are you?”

“I am Micah Angel.” The agent looked at Micah with new interest. “I asked my brothers to come into the bank today for me. I had a very important business meeting and couldn’t take care of the transaction myself. I called the bank manager and informed him that Crew would be coming in for me. Crew definitely was not a part of this. The man who was shot was his husband. I doubt very much that he willingly went with these thugs while his husband lay bleeding on the floor.”

The agent eyed the rest of them. “And you gentlemen would be?” the agent asked with a raised brow.

“These are our other brothers. We’re very concerned about Crew and what may be happening to him. Is there anything you can tell us about that?” Micah asked.

“You’re all brothers?” the agent asked suspiciously.

  “Yes.”

“Okay. Well, we don’t have any information on the two susp
ects yet. Did your brother know the suspects, Mr. Angel?”

“Not that I know of. I can’t see how they would know each other.”

  “Why’s that?”

“We don’t live here, Agent. We live about an hour and a half outside of here. The only reason we come into the city is for business or to spend a day. That’s what my brothers were doing when all this happened. They brought their husbands in to see the city. Do some shopping and have a fun day.”

“I see. So both of your brothers are…”

“Gay?” Micah asked coldly. “Married?” The agent nodded. “Myself, and all of my brothers are gay, Agent DeLuca, and half of us are married,” Micah explained in a cold, deadly voice. “Is that a problem for you?”

The agent’s eyes widened slightly, but he caught himself. “No, Mr. Angel. That has no bearing on the case. The other hostages from the bank insisted that the two suspects kept calling your brother Gavin. Said that they implied he was their lover. Do you know anything about that?”

“I have no idea why they would call Crew Gavin. But I assure you there is no way he knew these men. Obviously they thought he was someone else,” Micah answered carefully.

“I did hear the young man say that they were mistaken,” a feminine voice came from behind the agent. They looked to find an elderly woman standing there.

“Mrs. Talbert. If you would wait over with the other officers, please. I’ll take your statement in a moment,” Agent DeLuca addressed her.

“But I heard what you were saying. That brave young man tried to stop them. It was clear he didn’t know who they were. He only went with them because they threatened to shoot his husband and start shooting the rest of us if he didn’t go,” Mrs. Talbert explained.

“That’s right,” a young man said as he stepped up next to the woman. “I heard them. They told him that he belonged to them now and that if he didn’t go with them, they would put a few more holes into the other guy and then start killing us.”

“It seems to me that my brother only went with them to stop them from hurting the others,” Micah said in a cold voice. “So are you going to keep standing here accusing an innocent man and looking in the wrong direction, or are you going to find these pigs who took my brother and are doing god only knows what with him?”

“Let me have your information, Mr. Angel, and we’ll be in touch,” Agent DeLuca said.

“I gave the officer over there my phone number. You can contact any of us through that,” Lexi said. Agent DeLuca eyed them all one last time and turned away. He walked back over to the other officers.

“I hope your enforcer is safe, Alpha Prime,” Mrs. Talbert said softly.

“Thank you, Mildred. I’m sure Crew is just biding his time until he can strike.” Micah gently took the woman’s hand in his. “How are you? Did they hurt you?” Micah asked in concern.

Mrs. Talbert gave him a big smile and patted his hand. “Oh no, dear. Those guns were a bit loud, but other than that I knew we were safe. We had two of the Alpha Prime’s enforcers with us,” she said.

Micah gave her a soft smile in return. “I’m just glad that you and the others are all right. If there is anything you need, just let me know.”

“I will, Alpha Prime, thank you.” She rose up on her toes and Micah got the picture. He lowered to her level and she kissed him on the cheek. She pulled back and smiled like a shy schoolgirl. Mrs. Talbert walked away.

  “Alpha?” the young man said.

“Yes, Syn?” Micah looked at him with a smirk.

“You’re not going to tell Evan that you saw me here, are you?” Syn asked nervously.

“I think you should tell him. He may see you on the news.” Micah motioned toward the media vans that were parked across the street.

“Oh man, he’s gonna blow a gasket,” Syn groaned.

Micah and the others chuckled at him. “How did you get here?”

  “I…well…you see…”

“You hitched, didn’t you?” Gabriel asked, and raised a questioning brow at him.

  “Yes,” Syn whispered in defeat.

“They’re not going to tell us anything else today. Let’s head back to the vehicles and go over to Dante’s. We’ll figure out a plan and start tracking them. Syn, you’ll come with us. Have Christian and Cass extracted Haven yet?” Micah asked.

“Yeah, they just sent me a text and said they slipped him out of the ambulance when no one was looking. I’ll text them to meet us at Dante’s,” Gabe answered.

“What about that security footage, Micah?” Lexi asked. His face was pinched, and he looked like he was in pain.

Micah placed a hand on Lexi’s shoulder and gave him a reassuring squeeze. “You did what you had to do, Lexi. It was a good plan having Bailey shift and go for the alarm. We’ll get the tape. I think Dante has a few men in the police department here, so we’ll get it,” Micah assured him. They all turned and headed back to their vehicles.

  Chapter 10

“So what’s your big plan? Drive around until we run out of gas and then what?” Crew asked sarcastically.

“What do you care, Gavin? We’re headed away from the city and no one will be able to find us,” Dirk answered him with a smirk.

“Yeah, there is no way they can track us back to you and I doubt they’ll think we took you to your small little pissant town.” J.C. snickered.

This information made Crew sit up straight. “What? Where are we going?”

“Duh, to your house of course. We saw the big digs you live in. I bet we could hide out there for a few days and then we’ll take off to Mexico or something,” J.C. answered.

“You know where I live?” Crew asked in horror.

“Yes we do. We also know that your name ain’t Gavin. Crew, is it? That’s what the pretty boy called you.” Crew’s face went pale at this revelation. “Don’t get your panties in a bunch, baby. We came across your little podunk town while we were looking for another bank to case. When what do you think we saw walking down the street holding hands with the pretty boy back there? Our one and only double stuff queen. It broke my heart to see that you were stepping out on us, baby. I thought we had something special going, me, you, and J.C.”

“What are you talking about? We were occasional fuck buddies, that was it.”

“See, now that hurts. We were ready to make you our permanent third. We had so much fun together the last time you were in town that J.C. and I were going to have you move in with us. Make you ours forever,” Dirk explained.

“Have me move in, not ask me?”

“Why the hell would we ask you? You belong to us and you know it. There is no one on this planet that can satisfy your lust like we can. You crave our touch,” Dirk answered. He looked at Crew with heat in his eyes as he licked his lips. Placing his hand on Crew’s thigh, he began to rub up his leg. “Come on, my cock slut, show Daddy some gratitude. Suck my cock.”

“I have a life. I have a family and…” Crew cut himself off before he said anything about his mates. There was no way these two were going to take it lightly that he had two men of his own now and he didn’t want to see them ever again.

“And what? A wife and kids? A boyfriend? What were you going to say?” J.C. asked as he flicked his eyes to Crew’s in the rearview mirror, then back to the road.

“I have a job that I love. I make a good living and I don’t want to walk away from that,” Crew answered.

“Well, before things got fucked up in that bank, we could have stayed at our place and you would have moved in with us. You could have kept your job. But now that we killed the pretty boy, the Feds will be searching even harder for us. So now we need to relocate and you get to come with us,” Dirk explained as he continued to rub Crew’s thigh. “And you don’t need to find another job, baby. With what we bring in, we’ll take care of you.” Dirk leaned in and licked a line from Crew’s throat to his jaw.

Crew stiffened at the action. His stomach began to twist and he thought he was going to hurl.
He didn’t know these men like he thought he did. They were criminals and vile creatures. Even before today, they were planning on keeping him, even against his will. Thank gods he had found his mates and hadn’t gone back to see Dirk and J.C. Not that he was worried about them being bigger and stronger, he was a lot stronger than them put together, but if they were planning on keeping him, then they were probably going to tie him up for a while at least. There would have been no way he could shift if they did that.

Dirk’s tongue ran over his ear and he bit down on Crew’s lobe hard enough to make him groan in pain. “Yeah, that’s it, baby. You know you can’t live without us.” Dirk’s hot breath whispered across his cheek.

“We’re here,” J.C. announced from the front seat. The car pulled up to the large gates and stopped. “Damn, these must be some fancy digs you live in, Gavin. Or should I say Crew? How much are you worth?”

“This is my brother’s place. I live with him,” Crew whispered. He needed to keep them out of the house and away from his family.

“So what’s the code to get in?” J.C. asked as he rolled down his window. A clap of thunder rumbled from a distance and a flash of lightning lit up the sky.

“Don’t make me shoot you, baby,” Dirk said seductively, and pressed the barrel of the gun into Crew’s stomach. “You are our favorite plaything and we don’t want anything to happen to you.”

“My brother won’t want you here. He’s a pretty big and powerful man.”

“I think he’ll let us in once we show him this nice gun in your belly.”

“Maybe we can get a nice big ransom for you and then after brother dear pays it, we can all take off to Cancun or something?” J.C. said.

“Give them the code, Crew.” Crew heard Jesse’s voice in his head.

“No, Jess, I won’t risk you and the others.”

  “It’s okay, Crew. Trust me.”

Crew groaned internally. He really didn’t want these two sex psychos near the other mates.

“Let’s go, baby. What’s the code?” Dirk demanded.
